Farewell To A Feather
I too say farewell to a feather as it floats off.
Traveling distance unknown.
Will I see her again?
I just don't know.
With cards that can't be yet read.
The fortune is in play.
But I can not make it go my way.
In a game of fairness she was quite pretty.
But was it enough to give chase?
A search of the world for but a single feather.
Only to end in failure, when they're so many more.
The only wasted chance is the one not taken.

Feather in Universe!
Feathery, feather, feathery
Blowing wind, it twirls and dances
Drenching rain, oh, feather, feathery
Like the Stars, Planets, in their orbit
Mystic and steady they go, no pillar
A distance to cover, energized, re-energized
Hmnn, feather, feather, feathery,
No staking, own, and alone, traversing
A soul in the wind, in Universe, Oh, feather!

What am I afraid of I'll tell you a feather. that's right, a feather. How could anyone be afraid of a feather, you say. That's an honest question, and I'll try to give it an honest answer. First of all, did I say it was a poison feather

The Raven's Feather
I stand by a tree,
the sky is grey,
and all I can see,
is a feather gone stray.
A feather as black as night,
floats gently through light,
through the fissures of life,
cutting through me like a scythe.
Looking down at me is a raven,
like the expanse of the heavens, no craven,
his eyes as deep as the abyss,
making me wonder if I even exist.
The feather drops like black water,
to the earth, turning it to fodder.
It haunts me, never leaving,
eternally eroding and deceiving.

A single Kiss
A kiss so soft a feather upon my lips would feel nothing but rough glass,
i chase this kiss from my dreams to the waking world of life and only for naught
the kiss of that beauty allures me and evades me to such i am driven to madness in search of it through darkest ghastly figures of night time confusion and the many lives and tribulations of all the people whom i have surrounded myself
bright day
that sweet single kiss, a gentle embrace of complete contentment and serenity a kiss soo fulfilling and compelling nirvana weeps at its own inadequacy
a kiss soo graceful and beautiful falling cherry blossoms who is adored for its falling fleeting treasure is only seen to me as a great failure next to that all consuming kiss

The Chase
In every game, there is a chase
whether it is in cards or love.
In cards we chase the suits
hoping lady luck will play your way.
In love, you chase the hand
of your maiden fair
hoping when you find her
love will be there.
Whether you win or lose
the case for the things we want
is the most thrilling thing of all.

I Play
I play some card to hand over
So that the game finishes always.
The cards are fully proper
And nobody lies too much.
I lose a game when it is absurd,
I love the game that I have consulted
With open arms, the arms are long.
I play some cards to finish the game,
It is gaming always on the world,
It is rich how we obey the world.

The White Feather
A pure white feather floats silently towards the ground.
As it lands, I pick it up,
and rest it gently in the palm of my hand.
Perhaps it's a delicate fragment from an Angel's wing,
possibly, a token of heavenly love,
or maybe, I see it as my own delight in a gentle white feather.
But as my eyes alight on this fragile plume,
my spirit lifts,
and I have a feeling
that my Guardian Angel is near me,
and is ever watchful.
I believe this perception will always stay with me,
and each time I glimpse a pure white feather
I will offer thanks to my
imperceivable protector.

World Game
This song was first released on the its about time album. it is the only album it has been released on.
I want to play in the world game
I want to make it better its ever been before
I want to play in the world game
I want to make sure everybody knows the score
About using less, doing so much more
Everywhere Im going I see trouble
Everywhere Im looking I see all kinds of pain
Maybe we can get back on the double
Maybe we can turn around and make it all change
They say its you against your neighbor
If it gets right down to it, you against your friend
I swear that this is not the answer
As far as I can see it is the way it all ends
I want to play in the world game
I want to make it better its ever been before
I want to play in the world game
I want to make sure everybody knows the score
About using less and doing so much more
Hey man, you know me I dont worry
Hey man, you know me I am never afraid
Only one thing can make me sorry
Something to say and then it never gets said
What kind of man turns on his brother
What kind of man turns his back on a friend
Who has the right to say its over
Who has the right to see how far it can bend
I want to play in the world game
I want to make it better its ever been before
I want to play in the world game
I want to make sure everybody knows the score
About using less, doing so much more
Yaweh yaweh yaweh jah
Yaweh yaweh yaweh jah
Yaweh yaweh yaweh jah
Yaweh yaweh yaweh jah
You and me you and me
You and me you and me
I and I - I and i
I and I - I and i
I want to play in the world game
I want to make it better its ever been before
I want to play in the world game
I want to make sure everybody knows the score
About using less, doing so much more

Good Practice
Apron, Shuttlecock and Feather
a group practice in Cheddar
whose aim was to make your teeth feel much better.
Apron was always the popular one,
she'd wear short white skirts
that showed off her bum.
Shuttlecocks wit made his patients all chuckle,
they'd giggle and wriggle,
hiccup and splutter.
Feather was wacky, he smoked old tobacci,
with hands like two planks
and a wild mustache.
He'd not numb you up, but a whiff of his puff
would make you lie back
and not give a - - - - toss.

Face To Face
I'll be your loaded dice
You're holding all the cards
You set the tone whenever I'm with you
You make up all the rules
In this game of fools
I see your signals change
They go from green to red
It's always stop and go
When the colors are changing
Never let on, never let on
Look to the left, look to the right
Why can't you look me straight in the eye
(Chorus)
10-9-8
I'm always counting down
You feel the pressure when you're under the gun
6-5-4
I'm always counting down
Isn't it funny, I never get to one
I'll be your only chance
I play the only role
I go the distance whenever I'm with you
You make up all the rules
In this game of fools
You keep me in the dark
I'm walking on the wire
I'm on the edge
It's always my time for falling
Never let on, never let on
Look to the left, look to the right
Why can't you look me straight in the eye

the Way To Success
failure may outnumber success
failure is there
to make you strong
failure may cause pain
but nothing goes in vain
failure keeps you in touch
with reality
failure gives wisdom
failure gives experience
cowards don't fail
It's for the brave
who leave the shore
to sail into unknown
failure is a stop
in the journey of life
don't stop at the bend
today's failure would be
tomorrow's bigger success
failure is the cradle
in which success rocks.
failure is not a sin
failure is the first step for success
failure teaches you how to succeed
failure always helps in your success
failure helps you from failing
if you fail, it's not the end of the world
try!
success will definitely be on your way
so will run away your failure
but...
never forget your failure in life which helped you in your
SUCCESS

The Falling Feather
A feather
floating on the air
as white as a cotton
in the space of nowhere
stubbornly
hovering
off the ground
while the lost feathered-child,
from its winged-parent's
untimely death
by the act of wind-wild
that took her breath
forcefully
sending
its feather
falls
onto the girl's palm
blown with her wish…….
chirping
tweeting
chirping
as the feather
now muddled in the sand.

Be Light as a Feather
be light as a feather
do not go for a heavy face
or a heart that stores
sorrows
be not overwhelmed with
grief
these burdens
pull you towards the
grave
be light as a feather
be blown by the winds of change
into some happier lands
hover, drift, float
empty your mind
and heart
be so light as a new thought
that bewilders you
into another
comforting
fantasy
be light as a feather
have a good ride in air...

Woman In Flight
Woman in flight, like a feather in the wind
I love her despite, the empty promises she uses to bind
She changes her mind, and her voice is always sweet
She leads me blind, like a fire she's the heat
She has a pretty voice, in tears and in laughter
I have no choice, I keep on chasing after
I can't rejoice, I'm a slave and she's my master
But she is always lying, always a miserable character
Who can trust her, who can ever be happy with her
Who can love her, who can ever be loving to her
I concur, i'm an amateur to her
But it will never occur, that she is the one i prefer
Woman in flight, like a feather in the wind
He has a pretty voice, always gentle always sweet
