Echo's In My Mind

I'm in it for the long haul.
No matter how many tell me I can't, I won't.
The agony of a dislocated heart.
Page after page torn apart.

But still I know I have made start.

Part of me always feeling as if I'm dying.

So again I must overcome.

Dreams can not just be bled.

Only in me are they are still alive.
I will not accept others truth the way I do mine.
A denial by the times.
A promotion I will never incline.
Wealth in which I will never dine.
A exotic car I will never drive.
Of such things even given the opportunity I would still purge myself completely from them.
A moderate in me I define.
Their is place one must draw the line,
Whether in the sand dunes or grassy plains.
Whether in the deepest sea or the highest mountain range.
Somethings still will not change.
The object of my own morality.
A victim of my own mortality.
Perfection beyond the rejection.
Time after time.
A continuous echo in mind.
Quite haunting.
It reminds me my task is quite daunting.

Faith in God

No matter how things stay, God controls still!

Book Of Days

Your life is as a book
Written on the pages are the weeks
For you would give anything to take just one look
Into the next chapter, the next page

Each page is a new thought, a new dream
Sometimes it takes so long to pass that page
And sometimes nothing is as it seams
For you know you can not go ahead or back

You know you are where you are
You know you can't change that
As you read page to page, so near to fear
You write the chapters as you go, with each turn

Each turn, each move changes what's to come
And you know each moment could be the last
With this in mind you go so mumb
So numb to the touch, to the thought

You turn page after page
until you reach the 'end'
And only then, you are freed from the title
The title that has kept your thoughts bound, and tight

Every day we live, we always face death
We get closer to it, every time we take a breath
Life is special but death brings peace
Life brings reality and things you believe
Death is hard for everyone around
