What a truth under the bullshit!

You always put forth the positive,
bravo, however I am unable to
neglect the negative, I see the ship
is sinking in the deep sea, be yourself
an ostrich, I shall be rather a crow or
cuckoo hiding in a bush or bough of
a tree shouting about what I see behind
the curtain, under the layers, go and die
as an animal and come next as a human,
the true evolution, what Darwin did not tell,
mask, mask, everywhere there are masks
and layers, even the light does not let me go ,
what you are! An ash! I do not expect much,
I have to fight my own life, let light let loose
the spy! Intentionally it does not reflect what
burns inside though fire is the grand father of
shadow, to kill the demon treacherous if I have
to live in the dark , I am glad to do that and
shout like a crow or sing like a cuckoo to
spread the light to dispel the darkness.
What a truth under the bullshit!

Cuckoo in the Pear-Tree

The Cuckoo sat in the old pear-tree,
Cuckoo!
Raining or snowing, nought cared he.
Cuckoo!
Cuckoo, cuckoo, nought cared he.

The Cuckoo flew over a housetop high.
Cuckoo!
"Dear, are you at home, for here am I?
Cuckoo!
Cuckoo, cuckoo, here am I."

"I dare not open the door to you.
Cuckoo!
Perhaps you are not the right cuckoo?
Cuckoo!
Cuckoo, cukoo, the right Cuckoo!"

"I am the right Cuckoo, the proper one.
Cuckoo!
For I am my father's only son,
Cuckoo!
Cuckoo, cuckoo, his only son."

"If you are your father's only son -
Cuckoo!
The bobbin pull tightly,
Come through the door lightly -
Cuckoo!

"If you are your father's only son -
Cuckoo!
It must be you, the only one -
Cuckoo, cuckoo, my own Cuckoo!
Cuckoo!"

Cuckoo Clock

We knew it must have been late
(tick-tock, tick-tock)
We had no time to wait
(tick-tock, tick-tock)
I went to light the fireplace
(tick-tock, tick-tock)
I planned it all this way, and
(tick-tock, tick-tock)
I snuggled close to her
(tick-tock, tick-tock)
Her heart began to purr
(tick-tock, tick-tock)
I held my breath inside, and then
(tick-tock, tick-tock)
I put my arms around her
(tick-tock)
Cuckoo, cuckoo (go away silly bird)
Cuckoo, cuckoo (go away silly bird)
Cuckoo, cuckoo (go away silly bird)
Cuckoo, cuckoo
I put that birdie away
(tick-tock, tick-tock)
His cuckoo was gone to stay
(tick-tock, tick-tock)
We both apologized for why
(tick-tock, tick-tock)
Forgave that doggone cuckoo
I went back to her side
(tick-tock, tick-tock)
I had to swallow my pride
(tick-tock, tick-tock)
The fire had almost died away
(tick-tock, tick-tock)
We just got situated
(tick-tock)
Cuckoo, cuckoo (go away silly bird)
Cuckoo, cuckoo (go away silly bird)
Cuckoo, cuckoo (go away silly bird)
Cuckoo, cuckoo
I took that clock apart
(tick-tock, tick-tock)
I broke the cuckoos heart
(tick-tock, tick-tock)
Hell never bother us again
(tick-tock, tick-tock)
We just forgot about him
(tick-tock)
Cuckoo, cuckoo (go away silly bird)
Cuckoo, cuckoo (go away silly bird)
Cuckoo, cuckoo (go away silly bird)
Cuckoo, cuckoo

Cuckoo From Crow

Cuckoo from crow
Exactly I don’t remember or know
But you turned out to be cuckoo from crow
How were we turned in to so close friends?
We were always fighting on net at the end

But it was her greatest skill
Enough of power to pull down and kill
That she was gifted with talent
She had brain and all negative aspects were absent

She is nice to converse with and at ease
We were at liberty to talk and tease
She never got angry and remained at peace
But she never disclosed that she had upper hand with ace

Her voice is mixed with melody
She is teacher and powerful lady
She has neatly managed her full family
Brought up all kids with honor and led happily

Such nice friend is always to be treasured
Our relation and depth can’t be measured
As she used to cut joke and spend easy time
We were sometimes sore at her temper sometimes

He may be at the same time like child
Grew some times wild and sometimes mild
I have sensed deep understanding in her
That has taken her far long without any bother

Today she enters in her next birth year
I wished many happy returns in her ear
She is reasonable and sensitive human being
I compared her to cuckoo at once and compelled to sing

So she is cuckoo in real terms
Now it is her chance and turn
To accept our greetings and warm wishes
That she remains blessed until perishes

On her birthday

The Dark Inside of Me

Can you really see
The Dark inside of me?
Can you really tell
That I have walked through hell?

Tell me can you feel-
The masks I try to peel
Instead I stand so cold
Lost, not brave or bold

Tell me can you touch-
My scars; they hurt too much
I just want to know
How to end this show?

Did I hit rewind?
Or do I try to find-
Someone that can be
The rescue within me?

Could the truth be here,
And, is it what I fear?
This person-now am I?
I look up to the sky

And, scream 'I can't believe-
This Demon's inside me! '
'Get this thing right out! '
'HELP! ' I scream and shout

What is this-I am?
Now, I take a stand!
I am trying to fight
I want to see the light

Now more Dark inside
-The light will override
This poison that I hold
How could I stoop so low?

Save me now-I scream
Wake me-from this dream!
I am stuck inside
No more tears I cry

Now I walk alone
My darkness only shown
But, I must break free
THIS-I cannot be!

Will you help me out
Won't you help me free-
What this is all about-
These Demon's inside me?

Masks

Different masks some people wear

Pretending to be true.

They really don't care

If you are sad or blue.

They put on a mask of Friend

And try to let you down.

They are amazingly sad when you are up

And feel so happy when you are down.

Some people wear the mask of Kindness

Which is the most horrible one.

They just kill you without any gun.

They tell you kind words

To relax your vigilance

Looking only for their own conveniance.

And after all they run away

Leaving you alone on a crossway.

There is a mask of Faithfulness

Which sells you as a good

And you live in ignorance like in a dark wood.

There is a mask of Love

That breaks your heart in pieces,

It talks about love without any ceases,

And sounds like a dramatic art

Without any feelings

It waits for your kneelings.

The mask of Tenderness is a vile thing,

The sweetest songs it sings

But only disappointment it brings.

Horrible mask is a mask of Duty,

It is sometimes so cutie.

It shouts hurrays and the next day it betrays.

There are so many masks some people wear,

All of them are different

But...they are all indifferent;

To your life, your feelings, your love.......

All the masks I named above

Have the same profiles

Even having different styles.

They betray, they ignore, they lie,

They don't even care if you die.

But they forget one thing:

The mask of Death is the only one for all.

That's all!

Darkness Of Light

People regard light as a great principle,
Something that awakens our day,
Something that enables us to see in our misty minds,
Something that we all share.

But when does light share darkness,
Nobody ever thinks about when light was dark,
How it was used to kill and sacrifice,
The forgotten.

This light isn't all good,
For once it cleared the darkness,
It never fought away its return,
This darkness in which we all live in,
Is only light itself, for the earth started in darkness.

The birth is only the true state,
The Big Bang or God brang light,
But before the light there was dark,
And light was our saviour now
Our destroyed respects in the dark.

Bird Song - Crow

Crow
I detest the Carrion Crow!
(He's a raven, don't you know?)
He's a greedy glutton, also, and a ghoul,
And his sanctimonious caw
Rubs my temper on the raw.
He's a demon, and a most degraded fowl.

Blue Wren
I admire the pert Blue-wren
And his dainty little hen
Though she hasn't got a trace of blue upon her;
But she's pleasing, and she's pretty,
And she sings a cheerful ditty;
While her husband is a gentleman of honour.

Cuckoo
I despise the Pallid Cuckoo,
A disreputable 'crook' who
Shirks her duties for a lazy life of ease.
I abhor her mournful call,
Which is not a song at all
But a cross between a whimper and a wheeze.

My Cuckoo Clock

I bought a cuckoo clock
And glad was I
To hear its tick and tock,
Its dulcet cry.
But Jones, whose wife is young
And pretty too,
Winced when that bird gave tongue:
Cuckoo! Cuckoo!

I have a lady friend
Whom I would wed,
For dalliance should end
In bridal bed.
Until the thought occurred:
Can she be true?
And then I heard that bird:
Cuckoo! Cuckoo!

Though ignorance is bliss
And love be blind,
Faithless may be the kiss
Of womankind.
So now sweet echoes mock
My wish to woo:
Confound that cursed clock!
Cuckoo! Cuckoo!

Light And Darkness

Light and Darkness...
Light and Darkness...

the light in my eyes
and the darkness in my grain
the outwardly glow
hiding the inner pain

behind this mask of gold
a deeper meaning smoulders
from my mind’s eye I’m
constantly removing boulders

the blood in my veins
celebrating a damning season
time and time again
obeying the voice of treason

Light and Darkness...
in me a perpetual parody...
Light always loses and
Darkness bathes in victory

Darkness Hopes

In each of us lives darkness
black as coal and full of desire,
that lies dormant in the midnight
though it longs to feel a fire.

The fire brings great brightness
to the heart of the darkest dark;
as it dances with abandon
flirting madly as it sparks.

When the sparks flash in the darkness
the blackness feels the heat,
that's created by a passion
when light and darkness meet.

Once the darkness is ignited
white light burns deep inside,
emboldened by combustion
once begun, won't subside.

Though as the fire burns lower
and the light begins to dim,
embers glow with excitement
for what will come again.

The darkness is quite patient
as it quietly sits and waits,
for the fire to build inside again
and reconnect the fates.

You see, the darkness holds out the hope
for the passion of the light,
to dance again with abandon
to bring a fire, burning bright.

What's My Name? !

What is my name and who am I?
I do not ask myself
But you
Who
Ever you are
I ask who is this David Knox
Who remains under this mask
Just a boy who runs fast?
I pray I'm more, even more than talks
With others or with you, am I more than just who i was before?
Who is this kid any more?
Is he still one to abhor?
If he is, who is me?
How can this be?
For I know him not
Though I hear every thought
I don't know myself, or what's inside
I forgot what I pledged to hide
Maye all that remains is the mask
But then I must ask
What is my name?
If my mask holds my fame
Who is he>?
Who is this shadow of a man?
Who is this dark messenger who spreads light
Who is this dead messenger that brings life
Who is this mask that urges you to take off yours
Who is this boy who claims to find his identity in Christ?
Who is David Knox
What makes 'me'
Who is that?
What's my name?
And what's that means for who I am
Tell me you must know if I do not
Because SOMEONE must!
TELL ME! WHAT'S MY NAME? !

When light and air were born

When light and air were first born
Man came,
And woman followed,
So filled
With awe & wonder,
What is this light that makes them see?
What is this air that makes them breathe and live?
Definitions were made,
In awe and wonder, What it feels when air gets
Into their lungs what it feels when they Walk in the light and not stumble on stones?

The years accumulated like layers and layers Of earth and fire and rocks and earth and sea
Came then some cataclysmic changes While more and more
Men and women and lots of children came
Inhabiting this earth
And awe and wonder
Were lost, More changes came that kill and annihilate and
Men and women and children were so preoccupied with saving themselves, Forgetting how air first filled their lungs Forgetting how light first guided them not to stumble to stones,
Now air and light
Have become so ordinary, & no one really remembers about how it was at first No one really cares to recall what first was,
Men and women and children are so busy
Preoccupied with darkness,
these choking blankets darkness
These poisonous packets of air,
so debilitating, so deadly &
some of the children Simply dropped dead on the streets, and fear so gripped the men and women
gripes and grimes geometrically hurried in their hearts,
Night’s darkness
The darkness of insensitivity
buried them and indeed things change and
everything goes from bad to worst

What was it at first, is now not felt anymore, what was first
was taken for granted and finally forgotten,

Where is the awe? Where is the wonder?

Men and women and children, where are you all going?

Death Of A Crow

Death Of A Crow

halloween night
in a city park
a dead crow
under an elm tree

I was there
standing alone
a flash light in hand
wet in autumn rain
looking

children in raincoat
passed by
a police car siren
wailed and faded
into distant darkness

no elegy
no dirge
no requiem
no tomb stone

a crow's death
is not tragic
and that is the tragedy
of the crow's death

Shine Your Light

You've told me,
many times before,
that you prefer living,
in a world of darkness.

But tell me this,
when looking into darkness,
don't you see the smallest light,
in the distance?

Can't you see,
a little light,
that will shine through,
any darkness?

But yet you still say,
dark is better than light,
so are you saying that,
you too are a dark person?

No that can't be so,
when I think of you,
the last thing I'd think of,
would be dark.

You have so much light within,
but yet you've decided to live,
where no light can get in,
but is suffocated by dark.

You seem so strong inside,
but yet to everyone you hide,
except to me when you show me,
the real light within.

If you are full,
of such strong light,
then why do you tell everyone,
you love the darkness?

The Right Mask

One night a poem came up to a poet
From now on, it said, you must wear a mask.
What kind of mask? asked the poet.
A rose mask, said the poem.
I've used it already, said the poet,
I've exhausted it.
Then wear the mask that's made out of
a nightingale's song, use that mask.
Oh, it's an old mask, said the poet,
it's all used up.
Nonsense, said the poem, it's the perfect mask,
still, try on the god mask,
now that mask illuminates heaven.
It's a tight mask, said the poet,
and the stars crawl about in it like ants.
Then try on the troubador's mask, or the singer's mask,
try on all the popular masks.
I have, said the poet, but they fit so easily.

The poem was getting impatient,
it stamped its feet like a child,
it screamed. Then try on your own face,
try the one mask that terrifies,
the mask only you could possibly use,
the mask only you could wear out.

The poet tore at his face til it bled,
this mask? he yelled, this mask?
Yes, said the poem, yes.

But the poet was tired of masks,
he had lived too long with them,
he snatched at the poem and stuck it in his face.
Its screams were muffled, it wept, it tried to be lyrical,
it wriggled into his eyes and mouth.

Next day his friends were afraid of him,
he looked so distorted.
Now it's the right mask, said the poem, the right mask.
It clung to him lovingly and never let go again.

And Here Comes Dark

It's dark outside
But I see the light
Then darkness
I see the light again
And here comes dark

It's dark outside
I am lonely and sad
But I see the light
You ask my name
Then darkness
You take my hand
I see the light again
We fall in love
And here comes dark

It's dark outside
I can't find you
But I see the light
You were right there
Then darkness
I have my doubts
I see the light again
You say I'm wrong
And here comes dark

It's dark outside
I reach for you
But I see the light
You don't reach for me
Then darkness
I feel alone
I see the light again
I read your face
And here comes dark

It's dark outside
I want to leave
But I see the light
You're come to me
Then darkness
I feel your grip
I see the light
You're hurting me
And here comes dark

It's dark outside
I try to scream
But I see the light
You have my throat
Then darkness
I can not breath
I see the light
For the last time
And here comes dark

Light.

Light me a light any kind of light,
Just shine its beam into my darkest night,
For like a child I stay up in fright,
So light me a light any light tonight.

Candlelight, moonlight any light is just right,
For in that light I might find my might!
Don’t sing me a song, don’t hold me tight,
Just light me a light, any light tonight.

Light me a light to assist my sight,
Just my naked eye darkness cannot fight,
So before darkness gets a chance to bite,
Light me a light any kind of light.

Flickering, glaring or outright bright,
I don’t care what kind just light me a light,
All I need is darkness away tonight,
So light me a light any kind of light.

Fire Keepers

Keep the fire burning
That's been kindled in you soul
For the fire burns the dross away
And brings forth precious gold

Shine the light the fire brings
To the darkness in the land
For the Light is the Light of the world
And the darkness flees at His command

Keep the fire of praise ablaze
To combat life's malaise
For the Lord's fire is in Zion
An Inhabiter of our praise

Take your lamp where the fire burns
Bring oil most precious and true
For the oil causes the lamp to burn
All the dark night through

Seek the Giver of unchanging fire
From Whom all blessings flow
For you know not what the day may hold
And tomorrow is not your own.

Behind the Mask...

Don't be fooled by the mask that I wear,
Throughout my journey I wear many masks,
Masks I am afraid to live whithout,
I reveal only what I'm comfortable with,
Whilst hiding the naked heart of me,
Yet all of these masks have become me,
Pretense an art form I know so well,
Don't be fooled by my boldness,
Look past the surface to the emotions within,
To the soul that cries in silent pain,
A boundless well of passion waiting to be tapped,
Loves flame waiting to devour the gentle breath of reason,
All this I hold for you... Behind the mask...

Spread the love... The peace will follolw...
