Divine
Poems after poems
Painted love as divine
Songs after songs
Hug and wet kiss
Are treated as eternal bliss
Paintings after paintings
Soft touch and sex
Are depicted as ambrosial
Heavenly things are in this world
Worldly things are in the heaven
Then, no difference
Between this world and the world after?

Ships Of The Night
Poems pass
in the night also.
Port starboard lights
burn bright also.
Poems pass stirred
hear wave slap night gongs?
Have you not heard
their salty soft saline songs?
Poems pass plotted
in navigated narrows; of lapping passage night.
Have you not heard
their soft spoken saline songs; by glow of candle light?
Poems pass navigated
in natant night also.
Daily cares contested
at last laid low below.
Poems pass
in shadow seamed night.
Poems pass
in nuptial nocturnal night flight.
Has not herald heard
silver shimmering saline songs?
Poems pass like flight of bird
as eternal endless night sails on.

Song For Bob Dylan
Oh, hear this robert zimmerman
I wrote a song for you
About a strange young man called dylan
With a voice like sand and glue
Some words of truthful vengeance
They could pin us to the floor
Brought a few more people on
And put the fear in a whole lot more
Ah, here she comes
Here she comes
Here she comes again
The same old painted lady
From the brow of a superbrain
Shell scratch this world to pieces
As she comes on like a friend
But a couple of songs
From your old scrapbook
Could send her home again
You gave your heart to every bedsit room
At least a picture on the wall
And you sat behind a million pair of eyes
And told them how they saw
Then we lost your train of thought
The paintings are all your own
While troubles are rising
Wed rather be scared
Together than alone
Ah, here she comes
Here she comes
Here she comes again
The same old painted lady
From the brow of a superbrain
Shell scratch this world to pieces
As she comes on like a friend
But a couple of songs
From your old scrapbook
Could send her home again
Aoo
Now hear this robert zimmerman
Though I dont suppose well meet
Ask your good friend dylan
If hed gaze a while down the old street
Tell him weve lost his poems
So theyre writing on the walls
Give us back our unity
Give us back our family
Youre every nations refugee
Dont leave us with their sanity
Ah, here she comes
Here she comes
Here she comes again
The same old painted lady
From the brow of a superbrain
Shell scratch this world to pieces
As she comes on like a friend
But a couple of songs
From your old scrapbook
Could send her home again
Come on
A couple of songs
From your old scrapbook
Could send her home again
Oh, here she comes, (oh) here she comes
Oh, here she comes (oh)

Up until 35 I had a slightly skewed world view. I honestly believed everybody in the world wanted to make abstract paintings, and people only became lawyers and doctors and brokers and things because they couldn't make abstract paintings.

Dream Catcher
Ride purple stallions from the gold forest
We are going to find real answers
Rainbows shed their mellow glow
Love rides wings of sweet euphoria
Nothing lasts except the angels
Walk the sea slowly belonging to the stars
Axis spins like the eternal man
We felt things that night by the black light
When posters melted like flowers
Three dimensions seemed confined
Up and down the relative man
Now we are there and here but still here
Are you with me baby?
Free in the moving shadows of turquoise
See the cactus fill with sunrise
Red sun shines like the day Custer died
A pathetic human being
Out of the corner she rides fires
Warriors in the ghost world
We all are strange moons crying
We run like the rivers in the beginning
Come to me like star light, soft and sublime
Vibrations before the ships arrived
I enter into the old world
Someday peace will flow
Time will join all rivers
She brings me songs from the old world
Brilliant kisses made of hope
Kisses from the old world
Kisses from the new
Paintings of the future
Respite from the wild open love
Blue turquoise touch
Full circles of love
We slowly blend into one
Deep into a world that lasts
Dream catchers fill

Poems About.
There are poems that you will never see
Marked in a folder titled 'privacy'
Poems of hate and anger and personal pain
Poems about greed and hunger and personal gain
Poems about people I would love to see dead
Poems about women I met
Poems about relationships that have gone bad
Poems about issues with mom and dad
Poems about me, the person no one knows
Poems about places where only my soul goes
Poems I wish I could place in the clouds for all to read
Poems about lust, selfishness and greed
Poems I know will hurt those I hate
Poems I write by complete mistake
Poems I have hidden in my heart and my head
Poems about things that are better left unsaid
Poems I want to share and poems I want to retract
Poems of shame and how others might act
They stay in my psyche, they are a part of me
These poems I write, but you will never see.

We Need Poems To Make Us Love Life More
WE NEED POEMS TO MAKE US LOVE LIFE MORE
We need poems to make us love life more
Poems that will make us happier
Poems that will make us kinder, better people.
We need poems that will inspire us
That will add to our sense of the world’s Beauty
We need Poems that will make us love others as we love ourselves as we love God.
We need holy poems
And joyful poems
And blessed poems
And kind poems
We need poems which will make us love life more
Which will help us love others and ourselves more
God more
We need poems.

These Poems These Songs This Beauty This Life
THESE POEMS THESE SONGS THIS BEAUTY THIS LIFE
These poems these songs this beauty this life-
All that I hear inside me
And have heard from others
Through years of listening-
All that I take with me inside
As if it were forever mine
The songs I have learned and love
The poems I recite in my soul
Without even trying to-
All this like the dust
Like the air
Will vanish when I go
And the song of my soul
Will be
As blank as the silence
Of a page never written on.

All These Poems About Poems
All these poems about poems
Where do they lead?
The world is so rich in so many other things
Write poems about them.
At twilight I look out
At strangers walking
To do their errands of preparation
for Sukkot.
A poem should have some Beauty in it
And not just be an effort at recording observations-
The scarlet bright flowers rage at me from the distance
I cannot translate their Beauty to words -
There is so much I have seen
And so much I will never write –
And so many Poems beyond my Imagination.
All these poems about my failing at poetry
And about translating the Beauty of the world to words-
This is a poem I not know how to properly finish.

Happy Endings
some poems are sad but we may help
them to be happy again
to let the poems wear a smile
and let these poems like
fairies dance in the
prairies let them sing the songs
of love and
passion and thanksgiving and
praise and be
so venerable before the throne
of the divine
i read this poem this morning
that has made my day
a very inspiring one indeed
and it was not that long and winding
and direct to the point
it simply said: i love you too.

I have no ideas about what the paintings imply about the world. I don't think that's a painter's business. He just paints paintings without a conscious reason.

Sonnet: Immortal Shall Be My Poems
My poems shall live for Eternity!
God inspires me and I perspire;
Writ them all I have for all posterity;
Outcome my poems from my heart with fire.
I’ll say all the good things, I ought to say;
Paint all the bad things, they ought to refrain;
On earth we must live with care any day;
Life is just one chance and doesn’t come again.
Writ are my thoughts for immortality!
God helps say the right things in right ways;
The art in my poems, the world will see;
I’ll serve God thus for the rest of my days.
My poems will stand the test of all time;
I speak of life and values with much rhyme.

A Merry Carnival
Some poems are love songs
And can even be sung
Some are praises to love
All its glory and cost
Or personal enquiries
To those who are lost
I have songs that give praise
But this song laments
I have poems for loving
But this poem complains
Of Americopia, where consumers spend
Afflicted by thirst, without solace from pain
A Merry Carnival
Whose show cannot end
This Americomedy
Its laughter undressed
By those calling for peace
And working for rest
The Americarnivore
Plays at love like a beast
The Americatastrophe
In implacable haste
Addicted to plunder
Lays its heroes to waste.
Some songs are praise poems
To heroines and gods
Which celebrate mortals
With barely-heard cries
At the well of the throat
Where redemption lies
And at the firm juncture
Of a shoulder and hand
Tracing the crossroads
With delicate allure
The poems are recited
The songs raised once more.

To me Poems are spiritual
that come from deep inside the heart
that can't be taught in school.
Poems tells the story of our lives
Poems is a way to express
our feeling to the world
Poems reduce our pains
poems is the only way to speak to the heart
To me
Poems is not a choice
It's not a Habit
I's not a way to express others
But, It's a talent
that shows the world the real you

I Had So Many Other Poems To Write
I HAD SO MANY OTHER POEMS TO WRITE
I had so many other poems to write
So dark and deep in me
But suddenly
A small ailment came
And I could no longer be.
The world goes on
There are other poems
As good or better than mine
There are trillions and trillions of other things
The world won't vanish without mine

Songs Of Freedom
Everybody tells me, we love your songs
Your soul is precious, but it just aint good enough
You need a single to help you through
Program directors, they all make the rules
I said, youre kidding, youre putting me on
What about the constitution, freedom of expression
Listen to the music, just feel the sound
Love is the motion, thats what makes the world go around
Sing, songs of freedom
Bring joy to the world
Sing, songs of freedom
Bring joy to the world
Everybody listen, stop and take some time
To understand the world situation
There is no meaning in fighting the way we do
Lets come together and forgive each other
Sing, songs of freedom
Bring joy to the world
Sing, songs of freedom
Bring joy to the world

Oh The Poems
OH THE POEMS AND THE POEMS AND THE POEMS
Oh the poems and the poems and the poems
Oh the love of Literature
Oh all that stuff
I have given my life to-
Words and meanings and feelings
Pages and pages and pages –
What it is all this literary life for?
When out the window out the door
With our eyes we see in an instant other worlds other dreams?
I don’t know and I will never know
And Literature is certainly far more than I can say it is-
Oh the poems and this poem and this day turning grey
And all my life old and old and more old and more old-
Oh why oh why oh why
And always back to God
My last rescue and refuge and escape
I who have read so much Great Literature
And can only write this-
Oh the why and the oh oh oh and the words
And the whole world of Literature
I would belong to and do not.
Oh the words oh the world oh the Literature
Oh God help me please can’t you please help me a little or not?

When The World Changes (Envelope Couplet Sestets)
When the world changes from what it was before
when men grow to the duties they exist for,
things do become very much better still,
when people have freedom of their own will
when the world does not anymore know war,
when the world changes from what it was before.
When the world changes from what it was before,
when a young couple each other do adore,
when a kiss is filled with special bliss,
words, acts and feelings do not go amiss,
we have the capacity to become much more,
when the world changes from what it was before.
When the world changes from what it was before,
changes from a place of only death and gore
when an honest sincere man governs a land,
places all of his people in God’s strong hand,
then much better things are always in store,
when the world changes from what it was before.

Without A Tree
A world without a Tree
Would be a World without me
It would be a World I wouldn't know
A place where beauty isn't shown.
Where dreams and rainbows are not made.
And every moment is a lifeless day.
A World without a Seed
Not being planted to grow a Tree
To shade the head from sun or rain
Or to stare at it's beauty everyday.
A Treeless life would be a darkened sky.
And would be as meaningless as a hopeless lie.
A world without a Tree
Would be a World without a Leaf,
Rainbow parks would all be gone
Along with the Children dancing on the lawn.
With songs of the birds no longer sung.
While colorful paintings no longer hung.
A World without a Seed
Would be a World without a breeze
To enter the Trees to release the Leaves
Then to enter my soul, then to free me.
A barren World upon a rock.
Where my Soul and I be forever lost.
