Says Rahim
Says Rahim do not snap ever
the thread of love
once broken, it does not unite
if it does, knots appear.
Says Rahim do not spurn the trivial
seeing the weighty
when you need a sewing needle
of what use a sword.
Says Rahim keep your sorrow
to your own heart
others will taunt you
none willing to share.
Says Rahim a man with no education
wisdom, religion and generosity
an animal without a tail or horns
futile is his birth in this world.
Says Rahim pleased I am not
being offered ambrosia without respect
better to die with dignity
drinking poison.
Says Rahim a dilemma indeed
when you speak out the truth
worldly ties break
with lies you don't ever reach God.
Says Rahim the sun rises with glowing rays
it sets with equal grace
so does a good man
living through ups and downs.
Body, a paper toy
turns into pulp in a trice
strange, so says Rahim
yet filled with much pride.
How will the weak ever live
fighting the strong?
Says Rahim like being at war
with the crocodile while in water.
A tree does not eat its own fruits
no pond drinks up its own water
a good man saves for others' needs
so says Rahim.
Blessed is the love the fish has for water
lifeless without it
says Rahim a bumble bee is different
hopping flower to flower.
Blessed is the swamp
insects thrive on
says Rahim so vast the sea
yet everyone comes away thirsty.
Says Rahim my Lord's image is embedded in my eyes
there is place for none else
like a traveller turning away
from a full caravanserai.

This Week
Monday I went fishing,
Tuesday I went near a well to do some wishing,
Wednesday my cat got lost,
Thursday on my car there was frost,
Friday I went to the beach,
Saturday my Mum got a job to teach,
Sunday I was bored,
and my Dad got a new car, a FORD!

Music From Penury
He was destined
To shoulder the family
That left in penury
As his pappa breathed last!
He had the legacy
Not of the wealth
But of the rich music
That his pappa gave!
He was introvert
And still continue to be
An introvert even on
Arrival of luck unending!
When he loitered
The streets with gnawing
Hunger and thirst
The music in his veins
Roared and roamed
And he sang aloud
That reverberated
The sorrow and misery
Of the poor
And awesome penury!
It was life's philosophy
The dire rough facts
That made him
To wove the rhythm
The art of music magic
That even stopped
The running 'time'
To halt and listen
And move again enjoying
His mellifluous music
That mix the folklore
The divine music
The African jungle music
The nerve tingling music
That finally gave birth
To a new born music!
He turned into
Alla Raha Rehman!
He uttered: Bismillah
Al-Rahman, Al-Rahim!

Lost Treasure
poetry should
not be for sale
for it is beyond price
it's an art to free the heart
of limitations, restrictions
the ideal prescription
in a psychiatric ward
string all your answers
to the psychiatrist
and you would get
the greatest poem
you would ever write
truthful, raw, echoing
from a real heart
they could even
prescribe it to prisoners
just listen to
Afghan gem dealer poet
Abdul Rahim Muslim Dost
- he soared to paradise in a cage cell
in Guantanamo Bay, he vowed
the innocently branded
al qeida terrorist wrote
verses at the bottom of his
Red Cross letters,
scratched them onto
styrofoam cups and
latter with rubbery pens
- some 25,000 lines of his
prison experience -
now in American hands.
'I would fly on the wings of my imagination, ' he recalled.
''Through my poems I would travel the world,
visiting different places. Although I was in a cage I was really free.'
those who write poetry
try to find themselves
in their own maze of words
to free their trapped soul
those who read them
need a heart of of patience
and a headful of knowledge
and inquisitive spirit
to track the poets down
his thoughts, personality
m eagerness to lay hands
on abdul's lost treasure.
Will the United States hand them back to him?
everyline of them?

The Creation of the Universe
When God decided to create the universe
His body expanded His visible glow to its utmost
And said, Be
(From center point of God)
As a result the biggest artificial glow Kurshi was created
Then He shrunk His visible glow
And made it big as paradise
And said again, Be
(From the same place)
As a result all minds were created
Then God said, Say, Am I not your Lord?
All answered, Certainly You are!
Afterward God’s Body created His throne
Then He created Laohay Mahfuz and His Pen
Then the pen wrote the endless story in brief
Starting it with the Arabic sentence
Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim
At that time all the minds were in pairs
Then God split apart the mind of the sky and the earth
And God's Body descended from His throne
Then took many minds including mind of the earth
To the place where this starry sky now exists
And said, Be
Its outcome was the Big Bang Explosion
Then He spread the minds
Into this explosion of tiniest particles
Then God started creating the upper skies
With His own hands and other limbs of His Body
It was the sixth long day for God
When He started creating paradise and hell
Since beginning of creation
After creating paradise and hell
God created the angels and the flora and fauna of both
Then God’s Body ascended on His Throne.
Tiniest particle is positively
And its glow is negatively charged
In the beginning
As a result of tremendous pressure and heat
Some of the tiniest particles’ part of the glow was torn off
Thus they become positively charged particles
When this sky was cooling down
The negatively charged glows
Merged with some tiniest particles
Thus they become negatively charged particles
Tiniest particles have seventy thousand layers of glow
Each layer of glow has a different color and characteristic
That’s why so many types of particles evolved.

Football games are neat,
Giants run the field,
Crushing Earth beneath them,
Atlas would be proud.
Holding the hopes of city states
On their backs.
In a flurry of flags twirled over head
These warriors of the gridiron
Trounce each other,
Battling with helmets that
Knights would be proud of
Balls are kicked into play
Play clocks run,
Plays are run,
Running backs
Cup balls as though
Rolling dough for chocolate chip cookies,
That fans eat.
Each play is dissected by:
Head, offensive, defensive, coaches
Orders are called in from red phones
As if the president ordered a pizza from batman,
Plus wings.
Football games are neat,
As cardinals perch on spring tree branches
Waiting for a worm to surface, to eat.
Football games, like fantasy leagues,
Are the paradigmatic American experience.
The opening play is called after a gamble,
Teams flip and vie for position.
The time begins—it is neat—
Like on Christmas day, like a ribbon tied about
Our favorite childhood gift; a spectacle
To marvel at, once opened,
The toy only played with only once,
To be discarded, but it was nice.
Football games have: timeouts,
Red flags for challenges,
Yellow flags for do over,
Yet somehow, someone wins.
The score is tallied, and
We have a winner and of course a loser.
These games we play.
Of course there are second chances,
There are Cinderella teams;
They dance around defenses and steel wall offenses,
Fields of ballrooms,
Fantasies, where glass slippers are slipped gently
On feet to make dreams come true.
Underdogs that rise from the insurmountable.
America is full of fantasy.
Between the exuberance of victory
And destitution of defeat,
Somehow we find tomorrow,
Unscathed.
Things are wrapped up neatly.
On a field of dreams,
There is a winner and a loser,
Even in the agony of defeat,
There is yet another tomorrow,
Another season,
Another day where champions can prevail.
There are always second chances,
There is always the play clock to mark beginnings
And ends, and there is always someone to sound the trumpet
Beaconing us to try again.

Indian Poets
Look before and beyond
Twin Towers
Weary webs waste vision
Work on mission.
Much blood has blown
Under the bridge of peace
Human bones are its pillars
Constructed by the body
It leads between hell and heaven
Poets will write a verse
On the architect of it
Wow with their rhyme and wit.
Unforgettable 1947
Guru Ram and Rahim
Moved in heaven
As their followers
Chopped into pieces
Scattered across borders
For the vultures to prick its beak
And wild animals to tear
1n 1857
Ten million Indians
Were killed by the ruffians
And tens of thousands were
Strung from trees
On highway and
Village squares-
With the bodies left
To rot and
Stern action threatened
Against any attempt
To take them down
For cremation or burial.
Does it provoke to write an elegy?
The massacre at Jallianwala Bagh
And aerial bombing
And strafing of cities
Our heart does not ache
Where is wail?
Over five million Jews were killed
Between 1939 and 43
As sheep and goats are slaughtered
Historians mind jolted
No more poetry by the poets
Let us crease conscience
Hiroshima and Nagasaki
Ruins and bruises
In the pages of history
Why do you forget or
Think a mystery?
Innocent men and women
Children and the old
Patients and frail
Are killed in Iraq
And Philistine
They are also
Of blood and flesh
Body and soul
Creatures of Almighty.
Is your pen paralyzed
Or lie in wait for accolades?
No wail, sighs, tears
Or cries – your pen bears
What has blindfold
Your vision
Unclear reason!
Has the prejudiced pen
Lost its thunder and lightening spirit?
Oh bravo of bravos!
Architect of the soul
Like to be called
Saints, seers and sages
Redeemer of gloom
Messiah of Love and Peace!
Stir up your conscience of your pen
Or will it sink in tears?
No distinction of caste
Or religion
Barrier of language or region
Never fear of demon
Is it Herculean task
In judging the culprit
To condemn in true spirit?
Money and mansions are meager
Spirit, character, conduct,
And humanistic wisdom is caliber.
Indian poets will rise
To the majestic heights
Spread cosmic lights
With their dazzling
Prophetic words
To give up canons
And swords! ! !
Poet’s pen tells the truth
Praises glory of God
His ink cultivates congenial culture
For His creatures to collocate
His words spread fair feelings
And verses cure sufferings

4. Elements – Water
Water an elemental
Water a fundamental
Building block of life
Water of Life
Water of Death
Water in all religions
Water in all living things
Water in all countries
Water also used for barter
No life without water
No rife with water
No respect for water
Willful neglect of water
Water, for cooking
Water, for cleaning
Water, for drinking
Water, for living
Water, for dying
Water is the same
In all languages
Water is the same
To all living beings

Fish Out Of Water
I feel so out of place here
With this high society
These high fallutin people
Dont know what to make of me
I feel like a minnow in a sea of moby dicks
A small fry in a big pan
Theyre caviar -- Im fish sticks
Fish out of water
I know I dont belong
Fish out of water
Everything I do is wrong
My style of hair, the clothes I wear
The way I speak, the things I eat
The way I act, my lack of tact
Nothin seems to fit
Fish out of water
Flounderin round
Out of my element
But Im just as good as they are
Why do I feel second rate
Its like, sorry charlie,
We want only tuna with good taste
I guess you could say wal-mart
Is quite a way from guccis
Im timex, theyre rolex
Im captain ds, theyre sushi
Fish out of water
Ive had it to the gills
Fish out of water
With these yuppie-guppie frills
Yeah, Im a square in a round hole
A catfish in a goldfish bowl
A little fish with lots of soul
Out of my element
Fish out of water
Flounderin round just for the halibut
Save me, save me
S.o.s. somebody
Save me, save me
Somebody rescue me
Fish out of water
Somebody throw me in
Fish out of water
On a scale of one to ten
Im a two, perhaps a three
Compared to the big fish in the sea
Im washed ashore so save me please
Im in an awful fix
Fish out of water
Rescue me
And you better do it quick
Fish out of water
Its such a culture shock
Fish out of water
My stomachs tied in knots
Fish out of water
Fish out of water

Holy Water for sale
I respect the beliefs of others and try to inspire,
buying holy water would never be my desire.
The living water is best and you will never thirst,
If to make a choice, choose the living water first.
For many seem to squander their money on such things,
Water blessed is not the same as what living water brings.
If you want to fight off evil - just have faith when you pray,
The living water will flow within- peace will come your way.

Fish with no tail
as i gaze out of nature... i have seen a fish without a tail
impossible but its true, first things came up to my mind
is, ask whether its worth to give time to remember all
the scene or perhaps, just a memories of a simple
goodbye
as the fish swim, deep beneath the crystal blue water, i
couldn't remember the minutes, the hours past, nay i felt
that i haven't taken my meal, it seems all are just a blink
of a second in my eyes
it keeps on bubbling, even in a thousands seconds it
stay in the water, until i notice that the fish fail to surface
beneath the running water, for the absence of the tail
the body is nothing
all is just a mirror of a fish that, every movement of the
body, the twist of the tail has to follow, its a paradox to
believe that we see the tail of other fish, nay never we
saw that we don't have tail of our own
like the fish it swim, with no direction, only an inspiration
that we can do, yet as it goes there we go, tail that swim
in the water stream with no affection of what to do
now i see, how to swim, in water, lou! where i may go...in
the world of stream when everybody is frame......

Water so Deep and Profound
Water so sinuous and devious,
And as mystifying as you.
Water is always hiding its true self,
Never in one form.
Water can be the shimmer,
Reflecting off the light of the pond,
Making the pond seem magnificent.
Water can be the rushing sound,
As it escapes the secretive pond,
And runes down into the vast ocean,
Seeking adventure and unfound dreams.
Water can be the feeling of calmness,
As it sits there, overlooking the pond,
With wonder and seeing how it made it what it is.
Water so supple and wondrous,
The pond is born from the water.
Water so deep and profound,
Just like you,
The pond so incomplete without water,
Just like your family.

I write these lines upon a sheet of paper
I write these lines upon a sheet of paper
That someone made from what was once a forest
Without much thought (as I suspect) for nature:
Does this not fill my heart with guilty sorrow?
Or is its lifeblood more akin to water
That runs in rivers under cloud and sunshine?
Why am I so affected by the sunshine?
All that I do - whether I read the paper,
Or, being thirsty, drink a glass of water,
Or walk amid the tall trees of the forest,
If there's no sun, my mind is fill'd with sorrow,
And if it shines, gladness is in my nature.
But gladness is not always in the nature
Of all terrestrial things, whether the sunshine
Dispels from my own mind some part of sorrow
For many men and creatures, as the paper
I read informs me, live within a forest
Of woe, and some have not a dropp of water.
One dropp of that mysterious liquid, water,
Would save a living animal, by nature,
Whether it dwelt in pasture or in forest,
However little it received of sunshine,
It cannot be exprest by lines on paper
How marv'llously that liquid quenches sorrow.
How much may we, the lucky living, sorrow,
For those who have been drown'd by cruel water,
The greater part of whom are not on paper
Recorded: but the cruelty of Nature
Alone knows. May their souls in heavenly sunshine
Be rested, and walk peaceful through that forest.
I think that life itself is like the forest,
A dark one, where one knows not whether sorrow
Will come, or else a glade o'erspread by sunshine,
That suddenly becomes a fall of water
That patters down in raindrops, in its nature.
Will those trees bloom or turn to crumpled paper?
I'll use no further paper from the forest:
My nature does not wish for you to sorrow,
But sit by flowing water in the sunshine.

Deep Waters
I am every where-
all immersion-
surrounding you;
yet you cannot see me;
my name's unknown
my love unknighted;
not shown.
I give you my All
you swim in it
suffused with that joy
which
is unknown
to even itself.
You come and you go
and I labor in this love
giving birth
to you in my soupy midst;
seeing your dreams small
and large grow tall and fit.
I see them swim away too soon
swim away
because
I am water
and you are fish.
I surround you in my dreams at night;
you swim in your world
unaware of me.
But your mouth opens and opens again
drinking of me
which gives you life;
keeps you alive
in the dream world we share.
Above the water line
is the other world
of boats steamers and reality
But here below
under my cover,
it is only
you and I
but only I in the end
since fish you know
never
discover
water-
until
its gone.
We are all fish then
unaware of the dreamy water world
which makes fish possible.

Love the
Flower's
Love too
Flower's...
Flower's are
Speak with
Every day
Smile.. sumile...
You speak love
And love
With love too
Flower's...
Flower's love
Love with you...
Don't miss
To day your's home
One flower plant bring on
Put the pot
On any coner put it
Each and every day
Only given to water and
Love it...love it
One day smile
And sumile flower
Clourfully say too;
'I love you'
Its living true
Don't miss the simple love...!
Do the love for

Heaken To My Council
I have said it once
Now will i say it twice
Not anymore
Not trice
For she wont listen
To my advice
She lives all her life
Bowing to images
And worshiping all the vanities
Thinking she is blessed
And will go to heaven
Now she perishes like a chicken
And she is soon forgotten
I will live a free man
Than to live a slave
For the beauty of the sea
Is it wave
The beauty of man
Is to live a free man
A good seed
Bears a good fruits
And a good water
Runs in a good fluids

Lord Bless All
Ah....
Lord bless all. lord let all be blessed.
And when you sleep. london streets are silent.
All the world is full of song.
And when you have woken , after dawn has broken.
Snow filled fens will vaguely fill your eyes .
Youll be guided by good will.
Now the bells in your town are ringing .
Far away the joy of carols singing .
Bringing all a song to share.
Lord bless all. lord let all be blessed
And when you sleep . london streets are silent
(break)
Ah....
