Suffolk: Say, gentle princess, would you not suppose your bondage happy, to be made a queen?
Margaret: To be a queen in bondage is more vile than is a slave in base servility; for princes should be free.
line from Henry VI, Act V, Scene 3, script by William Shakespeare (1590)

Oh Bondage Up Yours
Some people think little girls
Should be seen and not heard
But I think, Oh Bondage, Up Yours!
One, Two, Three, Four
Bind me tie me
Chain me to the wall
I wanna be a slave
To you all
Oh bondage up yours
Oh bondage no more
Oh bondage up yours
Oh bondage no more
Chain-store chain-smoke
I consume you all
Chain-gang chain-mail
I don't think at all
Oh bondage up yours
Oh bondage no more
Oh bondage up yours
Oh bondage no more
Thrash me crash me
Beat me till I fall
I wanna be a victim
For you all
Oh bondage up yours
Oh bondage no more
Oh bondage up yours
Oh bondage no more
Bind me tie me
Chain me to the wall
I wanna be a slave
To you all
Oh bondage up yours
Oh bondage no more
Oh bondage up yours
Oh bondage no more
Bind me tie me
Chain me to the wall
I wanna be a slave
To you all
Oh bondage up yours
Oh bondage no more

The Thistle’s Offer
...........A Fairytale
The King and Queen were sad, they had
no children, so the willow tree, led by a
thistle, weaved a crib in which the thistle
buried herself and died, the King and Queen
found a baby within – who became their
heart’s delight, they closed off the garden
from all outside, keeping the princess safe
from other children until thistles took over
the garden, children were called in to pick
them – and the princess disappeared, her
job done, the King and Queen loved all the
children of their kingdom instead – But
why, I cried, did the princess have to
disappear?

Princess Margaret
The sister of Queen Elizabeth,
The daughter of King George VI,
Princess Margaret was dead
In her seventy first year,
On Tenth February,2002,
Her mother a centurion,
Having attended her funeral.
She was not born to be the queen
But ruled as a beauty queen.
Group Captain Peter Townsend
Was fortunate to be her lover.
Princess Margaret was unfortunate
To forgo her love for the royalty.
She was more so to fit herself
With her unfit match;
She ended her life on a sad note.
Assets and beauty are not guarantees
For the success of a woman’s life.
A most covetable commodity
Had rusted, long unattended.

Freedom, then, lies only in our innate human capacity to choose between different sorts of bondage, bondage to desire or self esteem, or bondage to the light that lightens all our lives.

Caroline Says I
Caroline says that Im just a toy
She wants a man, not just a boy
Oh, caroline says, ooohhh, caroline says
Caroline says she cant help but be mean
Or cruel, or oh so it seems
Oh, caroline says, caroline says
She say she doesnt want a man who leans
Still she is my germanic -
- queen
Yeah, shes my queen
The things she does, the things she says
People shouldnt treat others that way
But at first I thought I could take it all
Just like poison in a vial
Hey, she was often very vile
But of course, I thought I could take it all
Caroline says that Im not a man
So shell go get it catch as catch can
Oh, caroline says, yeah, caroline says
Caroline says moments in time
Cant continue to be only mine
Oh, caroline says, yeah, caroline says
She treats me like I am a fool
But to me shes still a german -
- queen, ooohhh, shes my -

Princes Familiar
Please be philosophical
Please be tapped into your femininity
Please be able to take the wheel from me
Please be crazy and curious
Papa love your princess so that she will find loving princes familiar
Papa cry for your princess so that she will find gentle princes familiar
Please be a sexaholic
Please be unpredictably miserable
Please be self absorbed much (not the good kind)
Please be addicted to some substance
Papa listen to your princess so that she will find attentive princes familiar
Papa hear your princess so that she will find curious princes familiar
Please be the jerk of my knee Ive fit you always
You finish my sentences I think I love you
What is your name again no matter Im guessing your thoughts again correctly and I love the way
You press my buttons so much sometimes I could strangle you
Papa laugh with your princess so that she will find funny princes familiar
Papa respect your princess so that she will find respectful princes familiar
Please be strangely enigmatic
Please be just like my

~Dance The Spirit Of Joy~
Dance the spirit of joy as the seasons come and go quickly. All that is in this moment is sure to be some thing so different the next. Welcome it.
Dance the spirit of joy for there is never a time life should not be celebrated. Give thanks.
Dance the spirit of joy as the season of youth comes and move out hastily waiting only in the mind of a fool. Call forth Wisdom.
Dance the spirit of joy when you look back to see that your crawling was needed to strengthened you on your way to the top; but was never the bondage of your character.
Dance the spirit of joy and Fly. Yes, take flight.

Queen
Head strong and steadfast junkies
All barter for the clean
They all wait in their plastic lines
To find what color means
Cause they all wanna be queen
And you do know what I mean
Cause they all wanna be queen
And you do know what I mean
I spoke to a girl by the backdoor
She said she'd do anything just to meet you
You know I've seen that smile before
Just in time for a knee to hit the ground
Little girls
Dressed up like French whores
In velvet paintings
Wide eyed
Long nails
They all wanna live the fairy tale
(Chorus)
Did they tear you all up inside
Did they take away your pride
and she cried herself to sleep that night
Cause they all wanna be queen
And you do know what I mean
Cause they all wanna be queen
And you do And you do And you do
know what I mean
Queen wanna be queen
Queen wanna be queen
Queen wanna be queen
Queen wanna be queen

Suppose
Suppose ... and suppose that a wild little Horse of Magic
Came cantering out of the sky,
With bridle of silver, and into the saddle I mounted,
To fly — and to fly;
And we stretched up into the air, fleeting on in the sunshine,
A speck in the gleam,
On galloping hoofs, his mane in the wind out-flowing,
In a shadowy stream;
And oh, when, all lone, the gentle star of evening
Came crinkling into the blue,
A magical castle we saw in the air, like a cloud of moonlight,
As onward we flew;
And across the green moat on the drawbridge we foamed and we snorted,
And there was a beautiful Queen
Who smiled at me strangely; and spoke to my wild little Horse, too —
A lovely and beautiful Queen;
And she cried with delight — and delight — to her delicate maidens,
'Behold my daughter — my dear!'
And they crowned me with flowers, and then to their harps sate playing,
Solemn and clear;
And magical cakes and goblets were spread on the table;
And at window the birds came in;
Hopping along with bright eyes, pecking crumbs from the platters,
And sipped of the wine;
And splashing up — up to the roof tossed fountains of crystal;
And Princes in scarlet and green
Shot with their bows and arrows, and kneeled with their dishes
Of fruits for the Queen;
And we walked in a magical garden with rivers and bowers,
And my bed was of ivory and gold;
And the Queen breathed soft in my ear a song of enchantment —
And I never grew old....
And I never, never came back to the earth, oh, never and never;
How mother would cry and cry!
There'd be snow on the fields then, and all these sweet flowers in the winter
Would wither, and die....
Suppose ... and suppose .

Washerwife
The aged Queen who passed away
Had sixty servants, so they say;
Twice sixty hands her shoes to tie:
Two soapy ones have I.
The old Queen had of beds a score;
A cot have I and ask no more.
For when the last is said and done
One can but die in one.
The old Queen rightly thought that she
Was better than the likes o' me;
And yet I'm glad despite her grace
I am not in her place.
The old Queen's gone and I am here,
To eat my tripe and drink my beer,
Athinkin' as I wash my clothes:
We must have monarchs, I suppose . . .
Well, well,--'Taint no skin off my nose!

Inca Queen
Once there was an inca queen
She gazed at her sundial
All around her workers raised
Golden idols to her smile
The waiting years werent hard to see
Behind the tears of mercury.
She spoke of silver from the sky
And many floating safety boats
To pick them up when they would fly
Far above their dreams and hopes
And they a mountain city raised
Where their queen above the clouds
Could watch out.
Inca queen has, inca queen has, inca queen has come
Inca queen has, inca queen has, inca queen has come.
Out in the jungle the drums were heard: inca queen has come
From the biggest elephant to the smallest bird: inca queen has come
She spoke of silver from the sky, inca queen has come
To pick them up when they would fly, inca queen has come.
Once there was an inca queen
She gazed at her sundial
All around her workers raised
Golden idols to her smile
And though the air was thin and cold
Soon the day would come the queen had told.
Inca queen has, inca queen has, inca queen has come.

Queen For A Day
Queen for a day, queen for a night
Dressed head to toe, so youd never know its me, its me
Ribbons and lace, shoes made of glass
Rouge on my face, off to the dance
To dance
To dance and dance and dance and dance
Queen for a day, queen for a day
Queen for a day, queen for a night
Just time to find the man who could be so right
Queen for a day, ribbons and lace
Shoes made of glass, rouge on my face
To dance and dance and dance and dance
And dance the night away
Gonna dance the night away
Gonna be a queen for a day
Wanna dance the night away
What Id give to be a queen for a day
Gonna dance and dance and dance
Gonna dance and dance and dance
Queen for a day, queen for a day
Queen for a day, queen for a day
Queen for a day, queen for a night
Just time to find the man who could be
So right, so right
Queen for a day, queen for a night
Ribbons and lace suit me just fine
So fine, so fine
I shall be queen for a day
I shall be queen for a day
Can you make me a queen for a day
Queen for a day

Gonna tease you and squeeze you,
Till you drop. opps!

Queen Jane Approximately
Now when your mother sends back all your invitations
And your father to your sister he explains
That you're tired of yourself and all of your creations
Won't you come see me, Queen Jane?
Won't you come see me, Queen Jane?
Now the flower lady wants back what she has have lent you
And the smell of her roses does not remain
When all your children start to resent you
Won't you come see me, Queen Jane?
Won't you come see me, Queen Jane?
Now when all the clowns that you have commissioned
Have all died in battle or in vain
And you find yourself sick of all this repetition
Won't you come see me, Queen Jane?
Won't you come see me, Queen Jane?
Now when all of your advisers heave their plastic
At your feet to convince you of your pain
Trying to prove that your conclusions should be more drastic
Won't you come see me, Queen Jane?
Won't you come see me, Queen Jane?
Now when all the bandits that you turned your other cheek to
All throw down their bandannas and complain
Maybe you want somebody you don't have to speak to
Won't you come see me, Queen Jane?
Won't you come see me, Queen Jane?
