House 155

Once upon a midnight dreary
Where light was
Weak and weary

Ghost and goblins Run to
House 155 in Mary
Trick or treat
Was there story

Until their
End was gory

The thunder clapped, lightening flashed.
they heard an evil cackle
A ruby liquid filled the house of 155

House 155
Go in but
not out alive
say trick our treat
a sure way to not survive

on all hollows eve
the house Zombies revive

A diabolical plan
They will contrive

To wait for the
Ghost and goblins to connive

Parent of ghost asking
'What happens to my seeds
tell me all me more'

Will the goblins live?
Qouth the physician nevermore

On Halloween
The goblins perish
And nothing more

Goblin that real name
Is john smith
Is now gone
For evermore

A trick or treater of
House 155
Is no more

Do you dare go to
House 155 on Halloween
I hope no one nevermore!

A Winter Message

A flake of snow in flurry thro’ the air
Had landed as a kiss upon my cheek:
A secret message, just for me to share;
To take to heart but never dare to speak
About or presuppose to other eyes
Your open feelings – distant though they are.
And so, upon your lips, my OWN surprise:
A flake of snow returned from me afar.

A Late Winter

Why is winter late this year?
Will it come or not, I fear?
Sometime it’s cloudy, sometimes sunny,
They play hide & seek, how funny!

All of sudden it is drizzling,
Then raining, then pouring,
Rain in Winter?

The seasons are in a scatter,
Its mid winter, what happens thereafter?
I feel little bit of cold
Is winter at the threshold?

Christmas is fast approaching,
but no sign of winter,
no festive feeling,
Can’t dream of a Christmas without winter,
Or a winter without Christmas.

Can’t dream of a hot Christmas night,
Or of a Christmas that is not white

If so, no shepherd will shiver out in cold,
No Angel will sing carols new or old
Baby Jesus will not be cold in the manger
No cattle will be in the shed for warmth any longer

No winter fairy tale will be sung,
No Silver Bells will be rung,
No Santa will come on his sleigh,
No Jingle Bells will be heard on the way

Christmas and Winter both go together
They are truly made for each other.

Winter

Winter comes
with A Winter’s Tale
of all that has gone before.

Ulysses toasts his feet before an Ithacan fire
dreaming of Ilium.

Letting go.
Letting go gain and loss.

A winter’s tale –
words upon a page,
ripples upon a mind
like ripples upon a sea.

The wind drops
sea becomes calm.
Where are the ripples then?

Mind lets go.
Where is Ilium?
Où sont les neiges d’antan?

Did anything happen?
Does anything happen?
Où sont les neiges d’antan?

In this flat calm of total peace
can anything exist?

FootPrints In The Sand

footprints in the sand
heading that way as it
leads away it leaves a
tale.

a tale of pain a tale of sorrow
a tale of hurt a tale to be told
whispir in my ear a tale of a
new generation
a generation of determination
where love is an everyday thing
and not as rare as a blue moon

so foot prints in the sand
your tale was heard as it hit
the nation pure like solid gold
so though your mist wash away
your tale live on till today

Fairy Tale High

On a fairy tale high
Don't you believe that your dreams all come true
The fairy tale world inside can bring it to you
You just have to wish, and you'll take off and fly
On a fairy tale high, fairy tale high
Fairy tale high, fairy tale high
On a fairy tale high
Just look around you, the dark clouds are far
Stand on your tiptoes, and reach for a star
As stardust comes sprinkling, it will brighten your eyes
On a fairy tale high, fairy tale high
Fairy tale high, fairy tale high
Fairy tale high, fairy tale high, fairy tale high
On a fairy tale high, feeling higher and higher
On a fairy tale high, feeling higher and higher
On a fairy tale high, feeling higher and higher
On a fairy tale high, feeling higher and higher
On a fairy tale high, feeling higher and higher

The Sprites Depart Smiling

‘España, rhapsody for orchestra' by Chabrier -
my father's song, one day he brought home
a vinyl record with this lovely music and we
listened enraptured, afterwards played the
record over and over, never grew tired of it

The introduction is a promise of enchanting
things to come, the music an opening into a
new world, musical themes as dancing sprites
appearing and disappearing, calling on listeners
to follow, my mind leaves my body to go along

The melody tracing a spiraling dance in which
the sprites float high above the ground within
vertical circles moving forwards in a horizontal
line weaving new themes, harder and higher
goes up while slower and lower comes down

All increasing speed to reach the ecstatic end,
a joyous last bow, my mind returns enriched
while the sprites depart smiling, all of us
breathless, satisfied with the dance that
had been...

A Tale Of Winter

A Tale Of Winter
my wings of ice
flutter twice
the snow yet so white
my gleaming sun hovering at great height
silver birds gliding gently
icy snow flakes falling silently
my giant wings of frost
a frozen pond that once was lost
frozen plants shining in the sun
snow balls flying, oh what fun
a giant snowman standing in the wood
children playing like good friends should
a coal fire burning bright
a red robin about to take flight
my new sledge with only one splinter
i will never forget my beautiful tale of winter

Winter, has the charm of life,
Winter, is like my wife.
Winter is my love,
Winter is my dream of always ''wow''
I always wait for winter like its friend,
the trees in winter always bend, having its branches like the ghosts arms.
they are my always my eye's charms.
do you love winter as i do?

Monsters Planned Halloween Night

Let me give an updat of Halloween night
When Freddie Krueger and Jason got into a fight.
Blood was flying all around
Yet not one of them made a sound.
Their instruments of death as sharp as can be
And the ending - no one could foresee.

They were joining forces for Halloween night
Since all the Halloween crowd would be waiting for them
Because at midnight the scaring would end.
Now that all the revelers were here
They would plan their rants and jeers.

FREDDIE would pull them out of bed
Then the GRIM REAPER would cut off their heads
Then DRACULA would suck them dry
And their bodies the goblins would hide.

The GHOSTS and WITCHES decided to do their thing
And the frightened victims they would bring.
The GHOULS and WEREWOLF would roam the alleyways
To ensure those that were hidden would not stay.

Now there was FRANKIE, the MUMMY, JASON,
and the GOBLINS too
They’d hide in the shadows waiting for you.
FRANKIE, the MUMMY, and JASON were all slow walkers
But they was great as shadow stalkers.
The GOBLINS would trip them to the ground
And jump on them before they could make a sound.

To the graveyard at midnight they would go
Man oh man! What a wonderful show.
To their places of eternal rest, till next year
When they’ll do their best.
Look at that cemetery and you will see
That this is where they have to be.

Winter's sun

There is something about the winter's sun,
That aspires hope after struggle
The wait for tomorrow after
long cold shivering nights;
is the optimism attached
to the winter's sun.

There is something about the winter's sun.
The Florescence of the beaming rays
the calmness of the flowing sunshine:
convinces me about the warmth,
of the winter's sun

There is something about the winter's sun.
The tender hugging of the sunbeams
on the exposed numb body:
confirms about the comfort provided
by the winter's sun

There is something about the winter's sun.
Those for whom is the winter's suffering
the warmth of the sun is also for them.
Relieving them that, a part of the
sunshine belongs to them
Of the winter's sun.

Winter Has Come

Definitely winter has come.
The evergreen shrub's white flowers have disappeared.
The ginko trees have turned into brooms.

Like a sharp sharp piercing, winter has come.
Everyone dislikes winter.

Deserted by grasses and trees, run away from by insects, winter has come.

Winter,
come to me, come to me.
I have winter's strength, winter is my victim.

Permeate through, penetrate into!
Make fires break out! Bury with snow I
Like a sharp knife, winter has come.

Sonnet 96: Thought, With Good Cause

Thought, with good cause thou lik'st so well the Night,
Since kind or chance gives both one livery,
Both sadly black, both blackly darken'd be,
Night barr'd from sun, thou from thy own sunlight;

Silence in both displays his sullen might,
Slow Heaviness in both holds one degree--
That full of doubts, thou of perplexity;
Thy tears express Night's native moisture right.

In both a mazeful solitariness:
In Night of sprites the ghastly powers to stir,
In thee, or sprites or sprited ghastliness.

But, but (alas) Night's side the odds hath fur,
For that at length yet doth invite some rest,
Thou though still tir'd, yet still do'st it detest.

California Dreamin'

All the leaves are brown and the sky is gray
I've been for a walk on a winter's day
I'd be safe and warm if I was in L.A.
California dreamin' on such a winter's day

Stopped in to a church I passed along the way
Well I got down on my knees and I pretend to pray
You know the preacher liked the cold
He knows I'm gonna stay
California dreamin' on such a winter's day

California dreamin' on such a winter's...
California dreamin' on such a winter's...
California dreamin' on such a winter's day...

All the leaves are brown and the sky is gray
I've been for a walk on a winter's day
If I didn't tell her I could leave today
California dreamin' on such a winter's day

California dreamin' on such a winter's...
California dreamin' on such a winter's...
California dreamin' on such a winter's day...

On such a winter's day...

California dreamin' on such a winter's...
California dreamin' on such a winter's...
California dreamin' on such a winter's day...

Seeking My Place

Amidst late dawns and early dusks
My hollow limbs stood abrading wounds
Samson interceding the pillars of
Collapsing strands of tidal force
A knight, a king, a well intentioned man
My pose was and is insignificant for
The tale you reap needs not one
Of the hero that I have become
Harbinger of supple comfort that
Caressed a desperate and somnolent heart
Who died a thousand in her own estoque
Casted a phantom hero, an opiate resolve
The offering basked coiled in the clasped ears
Of the heartless damsel holding crystal tears
And when I lost my part in the deadlock tale
I would lay myself in a table of flames
A pyre atop the winter hill
Undeserving of any sympathy
I shall find a bed in a winter hill.

Wintertime

Winter has come with his cold breeze
Oh how I missed the long nights and cold air
Noble winter do as whatever you please

Some bees hide in their trees
The fauna and flora in winter so rare
Winter has come with his cold breeze

You all mighty of all season that freeze the seas
Warm us with your artic flare
Noble winter do as whatever you please

Oh great winter now that I m on my knees
The snow might have something to spare
Winter has come with his cold breeze

Yesterday was like a gentle kiss
There where so many stars to stare
Noble winter do as whatever you please

So you have brought us many diseases
Now in winter people so scare
Winter has come with his cold breeze
Noble winter do as whatever you please

Warmth in Winter

Church bells chime in a darker clime
When winter sets her chill upon me,
Storms that blow with ice and snow
Make birds migrate to a fairer state
Temperatures decreasing contantly.

But Christmastime is a radiant time
As winter sets bright lights upon me;
Each cottage aglow with mistletoe
Each hill and dale a fairy-tale
And peaceful hearts surrounding me.

Poetic lines are historic rhymes
When winter sets her calm upon me
Hymns of Bethlehem well we know
The story of Jesus will never fail
To warm the very soul within me.
