All human excellence is but comparative. There may be persons who excel us, as much as we fancy we excel the meanest.

Let us carefully observe those good qualities wherein our enemies excel us and endeavor to excel them, by avoiding what is faulty, and imitating what is excellent in them.

Angels We Have Heard On High
Thereve been times, when I thought I heard angels
And I must admit, it took me by surprise
I heard rhythm, and the fullness of life
So rich, it brought tears to my eyes
There was a time, I was sure I heard angels
It was a sound tinged with sadness, but loaded with the joy
Full of rhythm, and oh such music
Kind of streetwise jubilation at the coming of that blessed boy
Angels we have heard on high
Sweetly singing oer the plains
And the mountains in reply
Echoing their joyous strain
Gloria, in excel sis deo
Gloria, in excel sis deo, oh
Shepherds why this jubilee
Why your joyous strains prolong
What the gladsome tidings be
Which inspire your heavnly song
Gloria, in excel sis deo
Gloria, in excel sis deo, oh
Come to bethlehem and see
Him whose birth the angels sing
Come adore on bended knee
Christ the lord, the new born king
Gloria, in excel sis deo
Gloria, in excel sis deo, oh
Angels we have heard on high
Angels we have heard on high, (gloria)
Angels we have heard on high, (gloria)
Angels we have heard on high, (gloria)
Angels we have heard on high, (gloria)
Angels we have heard

My Second Narrative Poem
There was a girl named Zelle,
Who always wanted to excel.
In every thing that she does,
it is accompanied with a must.
People hated Zelle in simple ways
Through her willingness to have a base.
A base where she will be happy.
A base where she will excel.
Patience is a virtue,
that's what they say.
Willingness is also a virtue,
that's for me to say.
Zelle worked hard to find her goal.
Exert countless effort and made it bold.
Through heart-break things that she do,
People loves her tight.

When I visit schools for prize giving
I think about students striving
to do their utter best,
to excel with merit as the only test,
but toadyism is involved in every thing.

From A 3rd World Country
I lived in a 3rd world country
but that does not mean
i've got nothing to say
Coz we also grow in our own way
Third world countries
may be poor economically
but we excel in different abilities
plus we are also rich naturally
First world countries
may be hi in technolohies
but 3rd world countries
have hardworking employess
We even excel in different fileds
either in medical, singting or sports
as our nurses, singers or boxers
are demanding in all places
Though I didn't live in a 1st world
but I'm proud to be in a 3rd world
bec. it is the only place
where i feel a belongingness

IF You Sincerely Choose to Excel
The only thing,
You may be able to prove...
Is your right to live your own life.
However,
In doing so...
You have no right to believe,
Your success or lack of it...
Depends on someone else,
Being depicted as less deserving.
Because that is what you wish.
And you make attempts,
For others to acknowledge this.
Be not that big of a fool.
IF you sincerely choose,
To excel.
Fools are a dime a dozen.
And today...
Anyone just may get two dozen,
For less than that!

Love is unequal to bequeath
Son, your mother can love you
In a way no one can excel.
Her love for your child limits
As it, another lady mothered.
Daughter, your father can love you
In a way no one can excel.
His love for your child limits
As it, another man fathered.
Woman loves daughter’s child.
Man loves son’s child.

Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You
I don't look good in no Armani Suits
No Gucci shoes - or designer boots
I've tried the latest lines from A to Z
But there's just one thing that looks good on me
The only thing I want
The only thing I need
The only thing I choose
The only thing that looks good on me...is you
I'm not satisfied with Versace style
Put those patent leather pants - in the circular file
Sometimes I think - I might be lookin' good
But there's only one thing that fits me like it should
The only thing I want
The only thing I need
The only thing I choose
The only thing that looks good on me...is you
Ya it's you - it could only be you
Nobody else will ever do
Ya baby it's you - that I stick to
Ya we stick like glue
The only thing I want
The only thing I need
The only thing I choose
The only thing that looks good on me...is you

Same Thing Over
You say you're going to turn a leaf.
But it's the same thing over.
You say you're going to release your grief.
But it's the same thing over.
You say no more to jumping through hoops.
You say you're going to do what you choose.
You say you're going to be free and loose...
But it's the same thing over.
You say you're picking up more speed.
But it's the same thing.
You say new rhythms you now beat.
But it's the same thing.
You say more of life you will see...
But it's the same thing over.
You say more of life you will see.
But it's the same thing!
It's the same thing.
Same thing you will bring into your life,
Until it's over.

Hot Thing
Hot thing!
Hot thing, barely 21
Hot thing, looking 4 big fun
Hot thing, whats your fantasy?
Do u wanna play with me?
Hot thing, baby u dance so good
Hot thing, baby I knew u would
Hot thing, tell me what u see
Hot thing, when u smile, when u smile, when u smile
Are your smiles, are your smiles 4 me?
Hot thing, maybe u should give your folks a call
Hot thing, tell them youre going 2 the crystal ball
Hot thing, tell them youre coming home late,
If youre coming home at all
Hot thing, tell them u found a brand new baby doll
Hot thing, I cant wait 2 get u home
Hot thing, where we could be alone
Hot thing, I could read u poetry,
And then we could make a story of our own
Hot thing
Hot, hot, hot thing
Hot thing, hot thing
Hot thing, hot thing
Hot thing, barely 21
Hot thing, looking 4 big fun
Hot thing, whats your fantasy
Hot thing, dont u wanna play with me?
Hot thing, hot thing
Hot thing, I cant wait 2 get u home
Hot thing

I, I should've been listening
To every word you said
Oh, what have I been missing
Wishing, wishing that you were dead
I didn't mean to be so disturbing
So far from home
Oh, what have I been learning
By being all alone
Every little thing
Every little thing
Every little thing
(Is gonna) Just tears you apart
Every little thing
Every little thing
Every little thing
(Is gonna) Just tears you apart
When, when we were younger
Sleep while I'm awake
I was trying to keep the door locked
I realize that's a mistake
Every little thing
Every little thing
Every little thing
Is gonna tear you apart
Every little thing
Every little thing
Every little thing
Is gonna tear you apart
Every little thing that you do
Seems so much better than I could do
Oh, I shouldve been listening
To every word you said
Every little thing
Every little thing
Every little thing
Is gonna tear you apart
Every little thing
Every little thing
Every little thing
Is gonna tear you apart (it's gonna)
Every little thing (it's gonna)
Every little thing (it's gonna)
Every little thing (it's gonna)
Is gonna tear you apart
Every little thing (it's gonna)
Every little thing (it's gonna)
Every little thing (it's gonna)
Is gonna tear you apart
It's gonna
It's gonna
It's gonna tear you apart
It's gonna
It's gonna
It's gonna tear you apart

I'm a thing
I’m a thing
A thing to do
A thing to make
A thing for you
To cast and remake
I’m a thing
For this world to sing
A thing to take
A thing to leave
A thing to break
A thing to grieve
I’m a thing
For this world to do
For this world to make
A thing for you
A thing of blue
