True greatness is free, kind, familiar and popular; it lets itself be touched and handled, it loses nothing by being seen at close quarters; the better one knows it, the more one admires it.

Sonnet: On Greatness
Greatness is not a thing, much like an art;
Some man turns great if on it he stumbles;
His greatness ceases, if he thinks, he's great;
Great is he truly who tho' great, humbles.
Greatness is not true greatness, self-proclaimed;
Greatness is not what world showers on us;
Greatness is neither got by being claimed.
Greatness is not achieved by making fuss.
Greatness could come if world decides to give;
Greatness will stay if God blesses our work;
Such greatness, God-destined comes while men live;
Greatness can grow even without much luck.
Greatness doesn't come to everyone on earth;
Some men are made great; some are great by birth.

Let's Get Free
I went searching
For something I could believe
So I turned on the TV
I was fed hypocrisy
Leading me towards the sea
Of confusion
I heard a voice
Ringing like music in the air
Breaking hearts most everywhere
All the people in despair
Cry out for justice to be fair
To every people
(Chorus)
Saying lets get free, lets get free
Dont just believe in what you hear
Dont just believe in what you see
Lets get free, lets get free
You gotta open up your mind
Cause truth is what ya need, oh truth is what you need
Our love
Can prop you up and make you stand
Some are sinking in the sand
With all that silver in their hand
Take a message to that man
That wisdom is power
And tell me now
You have Allah on your side
Or is it Jesus or your pride
Will it get you through the night
Every man has to have something to believe in
(Chorus)
Lets get free, lets get free
You gotta believe in what you feel
And feel what you believe
Lets get free, lets get free
oh love is all you need
Before the dawn
Comes the darkest hour of night
Either walk into the light
Or you turn and close your eyes
And fade into a dreamless sleep and hide
Every human
Is gonna laugh and sometimes cry
Every tear that fills your eyes
Falls with the weight of sacrifice
Forgiveness hears the pain of disappointment
(Chorus)
Lets get free, lets get free
Dont just believe in what you hear
Dont just believe in what you see
Lets get free, oh lets get free
Everythings as it should be
So faith is all you need, oh peace is all you need, oh truth is all you need
yeah oh

Let It All Be Music
Music is a mirror
Near around my soul
Music is the spirit
Come on let it roll
Music is my nature
People have you heard
Music is my future
Music is the world
Let it all be music
People sing a song
Let it all be music
Let us sing it on and on and on and on
Lets play the music
My kind of music
Lets play the music
Play it on
Lets play the music
My kind of music
Lets play the music
Play it on and on and on
Music isnt somewhere
Music turns you right
Music is a fever
Leads you day and night
Music is like heaven
Where you wanna be
Music is religion
Music sets you free
Let it all be music
People sing a song
Let it all be music
Let us sing it on and on and on and on
Lets play the music
My kind of music
Lets play the music
Play it on
Lets play the music
My kind of music
Lets play the music
Play it on and on and on
Music is tomorrow
Music is today
Music is forever
Music is the way
Music is for women
Music is for men
Music is for children
Sing it all again
Let it all be music
People sing a song
Let it all be music
Let us sing it on and on and on and on
Lets play the music
My kind of music
Lets play the music

As If You Read My Mind
Close your eyes til the morning
Close your eyes til the early dew
Get inside what youve been missing
Are the very first words that I heard coming from you
Take a chance on the secret
That you hide for beneath your dreams
Use your wildest imagination
You just tell me what it is and I will make it be
As if you read my mind
As if you touched my soul
As if you knew exactly where I wanted to go
Lets get high on the happy
With a toast to you and me
Love is here just for the giving
And between us weve got all the love well ever need
As if you read my mind
As if you touched my soul
As if you knew exactly where I wanted to go
As if you read my mind
As if you touched my soul
As if you knew exactly where I wanted to go
As if you read my mind
As if you touched my soul
As if you knew exactly where I wanted to go
As if you read my mind
As if you touched my soul
As if you knew exactly where I wanted to go

Destiny
Gotta a twisted, hungry feeling
Its a hunger for you
Theres a midnight train that keeps on runnin
Keeps on runnin through
These empty hours I should be sleeping
Swimming in my dreams
But tonight my mind is dancin
Im tearing at the seams
What we had, what we lost
We gave to yesterday
A kiss and a smile, a little while
The heavens blew away
I believe in destiny
One more time for you and me
So let it out and let me in
We can fly, so lets begin
I believe in destiny
Tonight is ours eternally
So give it up and make it true
Set me free cos I want you
Gotta keep this moment moving
Its a deja vu
Your memory keeps rolling in
But light keeps spinning through
But though were both far away
Weve never been apart
Time and space, can it race
The love thats in my heart
I believe in destiny
One more time for you and me
So let it out and let me in
We can fly, so lets begin
I believe in destiny
Tonight is ours eternally
So give it up and make it true
Set me free cos I want you
I believe
I believe
I-i-i-i believe
I believe in destiny
One more time for you and me
So let it out and let me in
We can fly, so lets begin
I believe in destiny
Tonight is ours eternally
So give it up and make it true
Set me free cos I want you
I believe in destiny
One more time for you and me
So let it out and let me in
We can fly, so lets begin
I believe in destiny
Tonight is ours eternally
So give it up and make it true
Set me free cos I want you

Thank You Love
Cornelius bumpus
Why am I soaring high
Just one look and you touched my mind
I have heard of this thing
Now my heart can truly sing
Oh, love is here
Oh, what a feeling, love has set me free
Oh, love is here
You are the one, you are my destiny
You have shown me the way
Now I know love is here to stay
As the path opens wide
We clearly see love cannot hide
Oh, love is here
Oh, what a feeling, love has set me free
Oh, love is here
You are the one, you are my destiny
This is heaven, my dear
Ive never seen love quite so clear
We will wander no more
Our hearts are one, lets close the door
Oh, love is here
Oh, what a feeling, love has set me free
Oh, love is here
You are the one, you are my destiny

Lets Pretend
(eric carmen)
I cant sleep nights
Wishing you were here beside me
Cant help feeling
Thats way it ought to be
You know we could run (run, run) away
And I couldnt bear to hear
The things theyd say
Oh no
Baby lets pretend
That tonight could live forever
If we close our eyes
And believe it might come true
Baby lets pretend
We could always be together
But for now just let me
Spend the night with you
Somehow, someday
Things are gonna be so different
Dont cry
Some way
I promise it will be all right
So now that were all alone
I couldnt bear
To ever take you home
Oh no
Baby lets pretend
That tonight could live forever
If we close our eyes
And believe it might come true
Baby lets pretend
We could always live together
But for now just let me
Spend the night with you
So take me now
My love cant wait
Were almost there now darlin
Darlin hold me, hold me
Hold me
Baby lets pretend
That tonight could live forever
If we close our eyes
And believe it might come true
Baby lets pretend
We could always live together
But for now just let me
Spend the night with you

Listening and Learning
Be slow to speak,
But be quick to listen
You will gain what you seek,
Like all wise men.
The one who observes
Learns a treasure of truth,
And soon will he serve
With excellence, contribute.
Be slow with your anger
And be careful with words
You'll be free from much danger
And your life from discord.
There is strength in meekness
In holding one's temper
It's the sign of true greatness,
Of honor and character.

The Road
If youd like to get together
Then come right over to me
Ooh, we can do anything
That you like to do
If youd like to give your love
Then please just feel free
Because I may be gone tomorrow
And not even know your name
Now please dont misunderstand my loneliness
Lets never ever talk of time
Cause friends may fade away
And our hopes will say goodnight
And our friendship would be lost
It would be such a waste of time
So lets just
Lets have a good thing girl
And lets not worry
Lets do everything we want
And lets not cry
When its over
When I leave
Our thing wont die
If you really understand
Then come right over to me
We can play together for a while
And still be free

Touched By The Sun
(carly simon)
If you want to be brave
And reach for the top of the sky
And the farthest point on the horizon
Do you know who youll meet there
Great soldiers and seafarers,
Artists and dreamers
Who need to be close, close to the light
They need to be in danger of burning by fire
And i, I want to get there
I, I want to be one
One who is touched by the sun,
One who is touched by the sun
Often I want to walk
The safe side of the street
And lull myself to sleep
And dull my pain
But deep down inside I know
Ive got to learn from the greats,
Earn my right to be living,
Let my wings of desire
Soar over the night
I need to let them say
She must have been mad
And i, I want to get there
I, I want to be one
One who is touched by the sun,
One who is touched by the sun
Ive got to learn from the greats,
Earn my right to be living,
With every breath that I take,
Every heartbeat
And i, I want to get there
I, I want to be one, one who is touched by the sun,
One who is touched by the sun.

Orbiting goes On
what kind of society
can't providework for all,
what kind of commuinty,
can't find places for the homeless,
what kind of society has no obligation
for all the sick, crippled and infirm,
what kind of community agrees
to let some have so much more than they can use
while others not enough to live on,
what kind of society does not honor its agreements
with old aged, one parent children and orphans,
because of bad planning
what kind of community lets its neighbors starve
while others have more than enough,
what kind of family is not involved in education
to stamp out ethnic and gender discrimination,
what kind of society thrives on unemployment,
what kind of society is indifferebt to suicide,
what kind of family lets their children use and sell dope,
what kind of society lets pollution destroy the atmospheres
what kind of planet can survive this way,
and goes in search for other life
and still calls it self a democracy and democratic

Apollo
Lets move, lets shake
Lets bleed, lets fake
Lets go for broke
Lets make mistakes
Lets see, lets win
Lets pray, lets cheat
Lets have another dance
Lets watch our feet
Lets die in the arms
Of the girls we love
Lets sell our souls
To the man above
Lets move, lets go
Lets hop, lets start
Lets paint the town
Lets break a few hearts
Well run, well shout
Well thrash, well cry
But well never grow old
And well never die
Lying on a bed
With apollo in my arms
Doing everything we should
And being killed by her charms
Ive got apollo in my heart
Shes tearing me apart
She looks like an angel
Held here in my arms
Though I close my eyes
And I turn away
Im not letting go
No, not at this stage
Because knowing is only half of it
No matter what they say
And seeing her is believing
From miles and miles away
Shes closed her eyes
And shes turned away
Shes letting go
And I know shell say
Lets die in the arms
Of the girls we love
Lets sell our souls
To the man above

Lets Make A Night To Remember
I love the way ya look tonight
With your hair hangin down on your shoulders
N I love the way ya dance your slow sweet tango
The way ya wanna do everything but talk
And how ya stare at me with those undress me eyes
Your breath on my body makes me warm inside
Lets make out - lets do something amazing
Lets do something thats all the way
Cuz Ive never touched somebody like the way I touch
Your body
Now I never want to let your body go...
Lets make a night - to remember
From january - to december
Lets make love - to excite us
A memory - to ignite us
Lets make honey baby - soft and tender
Lets make sugar darlin - sweet surrender
Lets make a night - to remember - all life long
I love the way ya move tonight
Beads of sweat drippin down your skin
Me lying here - n you lyin there
Our shadows on the wall and our hands everywhere
Lets make out - lets do something amazing
Lets do something thats all the way
Cuz Ive never touched somebody like the way I touch
Your body
Now I never want to let your body go...
Lets make a night - to remember
From january - to december
Lets make love - to excite us
A memory - to ignite us
Lets make honey baby - soft and tender
Lets make sugar darlin - sweet surrender
Lets make a night - to remember - all life long
I think about ya all the time
Cant you see you drive me outta my mind
Well Im never holdin back again
Ya I never want this night to end
Cuz Ive never touched somebody like the way I touch
Your body
Now I never want to let your body go...

It Used To Be Me
All he needs is everyone i've been
And all she needs is everywhere i've seen
All they need
Anything i've touched
And all you need is everything i've loved
Everything i've heard everything i've learned
Everything i've tried everything i've held
Everything i've felt everything i've lost
Everything i've cried
Until my whole head shrieks with grinding my teeth
Struggling to find a single word i can keep
Any kind of truth
Any kind of hope
Oh just any kind of word that doesn't make me choke
But i keep saying i will and i won't
I keep saying i do and i don't
I keep saying i feel
But there is nothing to feel
Just a strange kind of nothing where it used to be me...
It used to be me
All he needs from me is everyone i've ever missed
And all she needs from me
Everyone i've ever kissed
All they need from me
Anything i've ever sung
Yeah and all you need from me is everything i've ever said
Everything i've ever done everything i've ever made
Everything i've ever prayed everything i've ever believed
Everything i've ever touched everything i've ever loved
Everything i've ever thought everything i've ever dreamed
Until my whole head screams with grinding my teeth
Desperate to find a single word i can keep
Any kind of faith
Any kind of fix
Oh just any kind of word that doesn't make me sick
And i keep saying i will but i won't
I keep saying i do but i don't
And i keep saying i feel
But there is nothing to feel
Just this strange kind of nothing where it used to be me...
Anything and everything
All that you need
Get it for free
Anything and everything
All that you need
Get it from me
Get it from me
Get it from me
Get it from me

True greatness comes not when things go always good for you; but true greatness comes when you are really tested, when you have taken some knocks, faced some disappointments, when sadness comes. Because only if you have been in the deepest valley, can you ever know how magnificent it is to be atop the highest mountain.
