Looking back, I wince at the careless way I tossed out my opinions.

Tossed Aside
In today’s society,
we are careless with things.
Most broken pieces
that could easily be mended
are just tossed aside.
It is not only material things,
human beings fall from grace
so easily to technology
becoming rejected
and eventually tossed aside.
It is as if anything said to be
passed their sell by date
is hastily thrown away.
Hopefully one day
we will come to realise technology
isn’t the be all to end all
and more knowledge
through hard work and experience
will not be hastily tossed aside.

Everyone Have Their Opinions
Everyone have their opinions that's how it ought to be
And respect their opinions though with them you may not agree
As long as they respect human rights and a fair go for all
The difference between you and them to say the least is small.
Everyone have their opinions and no two quite the same
Even between those who are known to think alike some difference one can name
That's what makes us most interesting we all think differently
And you are very different so different to me.
Everyone have their own opinions a fact that is well known
And like 'tis said of him or her the words to each their own
To others opinions you should not react in a violent sort of a way
We must allow for difference and let them have their say.
Everyone have their opinions that fact with us remain
And as long with your opinions power over others you don't seek to gain
Though your opinions may be very different to mine
I respect your way of thinking and our difference suits me fine.

Careless Love
Oh love, oh love, oh careless love,
Oh love, oh love, oh careless love.
Oh love, oh love, oh careless love,
Now now dont you see what your careless love has done.
Well you worried my mother till she died
And you caused my father to lose his mind.
Now damn you Im goin to shoot you, lord, Im gonna shoot you both right down,
Im gonna spare no one of you child till you spin next dyin.
Oh love, oh love, oh careless love.
Oh love, oh love, oh careless love.
Oh love, oh love, oh careless love
Oh lord, dont you see what, what your careless love has done.
Oh yeah.
Careless love now dont know see how you follow me down,
Careless love, dont you see how you follow me down.
Well, you robbed me out of my silver, lord, and out of my gold
Ever since you been a-ridin by side.
Oh love, oh love, oh careless,
Oh love, yes oh love, oh careless love.
Oh love, I said love, oh careless love now
Dont you see what your careless love has done, yeah.

Dont Be Careless Love
Burn the midnight lamp
Down until the dawn,
Ill keep watch until Im sure your coming home.
Shadows play and flicker on the bedroom wall
They turn into a bad dream overnight,
Something could be terribly wrong.
Dont be careless love,
Dont be careless love,
Dont be, dont be careless.
In my dream youre running nowhere
Every step youve taken turns to glue,
Walking down a spiral staircase
Failing through, failing through,
Dont be careless love,
Be careless love.
The lamp burns down and out
Im getting pretty tired of this,
I feel so bad something might be going amiss,
I wont be there so look out for yourself
Youre getting in deep whatever you do,
Dont let me go back to sleep,
Dont be careless love,
Dont be careless love,
Dont be, dont be careless.
Saw your face in the morning paper,
Saw your body rolled up in a rug
Chopped up into two little pieces
By some thug,
Dont be careless love,
Be careless love.
But in the morning light
When I wake up again
Youre by my side and thats the way its always been,
But in the dark your mind plays funny tricks on you,
Your mind plays funny tricks on you,
Your mind plays funny tricks on you,
Dont be careless love.

Careless Heart
Roy orbison/diane warren/albert hammond
I had somebody, somebody who loved me.someone so good to me.
You were my angel, you were my heaven, but i was too blind to see.
I let you slip away, i guess i never knew.i had the world with you .
I'd be there, still be there in your arms.
If not for my careless heart.you'd still be loving me.
If not for my careless heart.you'd still be mine.
I wouldn't have this hurt inside.i wouldn't have this tears to cry.
If not for my careless heart.if not for my careless heart.
I had my chances,i took advantage.i took it all too far.
So now you're gone, and i'm all alone, alone with my lonely heart.
I let it fall apart,i didn't care enough.i lost your precious love.
You'd be here, still be here in my arms.
If not for my careless heart.you'd still be loving me.
If not for my careless heart.you'd still be mine.
I wouldn't have this hurt inside.i wouldn't have this tears to cry.
If not for my careless heart.if not for my careless heart.
You'd still be mine.
I'd be loving you, i'd be holding you,i'd be loving you.
If not for my careless heart.
I wouldn't have this hurt inside.i wouldn't have this tears to cry.
If not for my careless heart.if not for my careless heart.
If not for my careless heart.you'd still be loving me.
If not for my careless heart.you'd still be mine.
I wouldn't have this hurt inside.i wouldn't have this tears to cry.
If not for my careless heart.if not for my careless heart.
If not for my careless heart.you'd still be loving me.
You'd be loving me.you'd still be mine.
I wouldn't have this hurt inside
I wouldn't have these tears to cry....

I make up my opinions from facts and reasoning, and not to suit any body but myself. If people don't like my opinions, it makes little difference as I don't solicit their opinions or votes.

Opinion
Congratulations you have won
Its a years subscription of bad puns.
And it makes your story our concern
And you set it up for returns
My opinions. mmm. mmm. (x4)
And there seems to be a problem here.
Your state of emotion seems to clear.
You rise and fall like wall street stock
And you had an affect on our happy talk.
Our opinions. mmm. mmm. (x2)
My opinions. mmm. mmm. (x2)
Congratulations you have won
Its a years subscription of bad puns.
And it makes your story our concern
And you set it up for returns
Our opinions. mmm. mmm.
Your opinions. mmm. mmm. (x3)
My opinions. mmm. mmm.

Opinions
Opinions friend, we all may have, and opinions are not always bad.
All opinions indeed carry no weight, in regards to one’s eternal fate.
Opinions, my friend often speak, to the heart and mind of the weak.
They tend to sway a weaker heart, when from truth they do depart.
Opinions vary from one to the next, colored by many various sects.
Various groups truly do abound, as each echoes a different sound.
Men with opinions tend to change, and they’re not always the same.
But, God’s Truth doesn’t change; written in stone it’ll forever remain.
Opinions just air what men feel, delivered to all with a personal zeal.
But some are more of an appeal, contesting God’s Truth that’s real.
Opinions are formed deep inside, the inner feelings moved by pride.
Their opinions are a vain reproof, of God’s unchanging Eternal Truth.
They speak, but don’t understand, their voices are like shifting sand.
Easily moved by the wind and tide; all because The Truth is denied.
Isn’t it just a little bit strange, how much strong opinions do change?
When a big wind comes through, they change just like emotions do.
Opinionated people truly abound, even where God’s Truth is found.
Are they just the enemy’s sleuth, seeking The Lord’s ultimate truth?
However, opinions will not stand, in the presence of The Son of Man.
There only The Truth will reside, and vain opinions will all be denied.

Careless Memories
(words and music: duran duran)
So soon just after youve gone
My senses sharpen
But it always takes so damn long
Before I feel how much my eyes have darkened
Fear hangs in a plane of gunsmoke
Drifting in our room
So easy to disturb, with a thought, with a whisper
With a careless memory, with a careless memory
On the table, signs of love lies scattered
And the walls break, with a crashing within
Its not as though you really mattered to me
But being close, how could I let you go
Without some feeling, some precious sympathy following
Fear hangs in a plane of gunsmoke
Drifting in our room
So easy to disturb with a thought with a whisper
With a careless memory, with a careless memory
I walk out into the sun, try to find a new day
But the whole place just screams in my eyes
Where are you now cause I dont want to meet you
I think Id die, I think Id laugh at you
I know Id cry, what am I supposed to do follow you
Outside the thoughts coming flooding back now
I just try to forget you
So easy to disturb with a thought with a whisper
With a careless memory, with a careless memory
With a careless memory, look out
Look out
Look out
Look out

Get Your Opinions Notarized
Everybody has a right,
To express their own opinions.
'I don't object to that at all.
In fact...
I agree.
But to express my opinions,
To someone else?
And without my authorization?
Is disrespectful.'
Why don't you get your opinions notarized,
From now on!
Or better yet...
Certified as being yours.
And only yours to be expressed.
'I never thought about that.
Thanks!
There is something new to learn everyday.'
~I hope he knows you were joking.~
Did you see the look in his eyes?
Like a kid given a brand new toy.
I couldn't break his heart after witnessing that.
Why didn't you tell me to bring my video cam?
~Who knew?
Usually you have it.
Just in case we run across,
Suspected acts of police brutality.~

Find the Time to Beat That Funk
Giving up this funk I got from the grinch.
Tossed my coin in the wishing well...
Just to make that grinch in me wince.
Routine business...
And around the clock watches,
For something to anger me
Notching with knots that grow and block.
This has to stop...
This carelessness to care for others
When inside I'd rather 'do' than 'not'.
Giving up this funk I got from the grinch.
I'll have to leave it behind...
With the others who are left,
In minds cranked to the borderline!
Hopefully that funk I leave...
Will be enough misery,
To have them all continually...
Find the time to beat that funk to death!
