The battle field

To marry too soon will land a woman
In a bad husband; her fate is sealed.
To marry too late will make a woman
Miss a good husband; her charms faded.

If her fortune got her a good husband,
There might be women to lure him away.
If her fate earned her a bad husband,
There would be fine men to lure her away.

A woman’s life is a battle field.

Hilla Marriage

In Islam
Divorce is the worst thing
Amongst the halal things.

God has made the custom
Of hilla marriage
With a view to
Discourage divorce.

In my view
If a man divorces his wife
Then wants to marry her again
He should marry another woman
Followed by a divorce
To marry his ex-wife

On the other hand
If a woman divorces her husband
Then wants to marry him again
She should marry another guy
Followed by a divorce
To marry her ex-husband

She Deserves So Much More

Her mom is a bitch
She deserves so much more

This is were I come in and give her all my love
She deserves so much more

She deserves to have a good stable life
And not the shaky one she has now
She deserves a good and loving family
And not one that treats her like shit

That is were I come in and give her all my love
She deserves so much more

Is it too much to ask
All she wants it to be loved
But no your in Wonder Land with Alice
Having a nice trip?

All she wants is to get what she deserves
And it sure as hell isn't you

That is were I come in and give her all my love
She deserves so much more

Why do you think she wants to leave the place so soon
Hmm... Let me think
Oh its because of you

This is were I come in and give her all my love
She deserves so much more
And it sure as hell isn't you

To You

The gods and the saints preserve you,
'cause nobody here deserves you.
I'm living my life in flashback,
Since I lost my card for cashback.
and I've gone to rack and ruin,
Since I don't know what you're doing.
There's no clear or present danger,
That I see in any stranger.
Someone, somewhere, said to me.
Will someone, somewhere, marry me.
Well hurry up or, harry me.
Will someone, somewhere, marry me.
To you, To you, To you, To you.
The line on the screen has broken,
What once was asleep has woken.
I cover your face in make up,
Praying you'll one day wake up.
I've littered at life with magic,
Yet I'm neither dead 'nor tragic.
The gods and the saints preserve you,
'cause nobody here deserves you.
Someone, somewhere, said to me.
Will someone, somewhere, set me free.
From all that I'm supposed to be,
Will someone, somewhere, marry me.
To you, To you, To you, To you.

A Company C E O

A company C E O and seen as a success in life
But he beats his children and he beats his wife
And for his young mistress he buys a good time
But these things when you are wealthy are not seen as a crime
That money does speak every language in his case does apply
To be a good husband and father he does not even try
He may not be a good husband and father but that seems okay
As money more about you it seems more does say
Than compassion or kindness or morality can
He is seen as a good and a successful person though an immoral man
Far from a nice person though a millionaire
And that money speaks every language he is all too aware
Far from a good husband and father but never the less
He is a big Corporation C E O and seen as a success.

Marry me

My words are dry but can make you wet,
Marry me and i will turn you on,
My heart has no rhythm,
Marry me i will make a hymn
My hands are so cold,
Marry me and i will make you warm

Marry me, i wont leave my socks at the floor
Marry me, i will wash my pants everyday
Marry me, i wont leave pee sticking on toilet walls
Marry me, i will defy manhood

Marry me, i wont go to the beerhall
Marry me, i will call you your first name,
Marry me, i will open the car door for you
Marry me, i will defy masculinity

Marry me, i will bring a chocolate everyday
Marry me, i will help you with the dishes
Marry me, i will cook for you
Marry me, i will write a poem everyday
Marry me, i will be a man, not like a man

The Happy Divorcee

Such a lovely person and so nice to know
By the smile on her face she has the inner glow
The windows of her soul are open to light
She is always so cheerful and bubbly and bright.

In her early fifties her brown hair flecked with gray
Perhaps physically she has known a far better day
To her horrible ex husband she was a good wife
And without him she lives a much happier life.

Her ex husband has re-married on her he used to cheat
And when drunk he was aggressive her he used to beat
He done his best for to lower her sense of self esteem
Life for her better without him much better 'twould seem

Their only daughter in her mid twenties is married in a town far away
Her young son will be three on his birthday in May
At Christmas her daughter and grandson she will see
And life is looking good for the happy divorcee.

Old Sadie At The Corner

Old Sadie at the corner feels bitterness towards men
She has been through four marriages her last husband was Ben
Her first husband was Andy followed by Jim and Joe
And she has not had an affair since Ben left years ago.

She never more will marry she says enough no more
I would not try for a fifth time I've had enough in four
To each of them she bore children she raised six kids in all
But of the men in her life few good memories to recall.

She says they all abused her but those who know her better say
That Sadie's not an angel and no small part she did play
In the break up of her marriages all of her ex husbands would agree
That Sadie is not the victim she makes herself out to be.

She never more will marry she was four times a wife
And now she feels contented for to lead a single life
And old Sadie she is destined to end her days on her own
For not even one man shows interest in her if the truth be known.

A Husband...

A husband should be
Loyal and honest
A husband should be
Strong and protective

A husband should be
Loving and romantic
A husband should be
Patient and understanding

A husband should know
When enough is enough
A husband should know
When to fight and when to cry

A husband should know
all your goals and dreams
A husband should know
your strengths and well as your weaknesses

A husband needs to be a true man
A husband needs to love you unconditionally
A husband needs to know your heart is forever his

To Marry A Poet

The great seasgull is now in the sky! !
Fantasy;
But, you are at the seaside waiting for your lover because,
You want to marry a poet.

Arts and nature!
Love is in the air;
Because, everything around us are part of the beauty of nature! !
And like the sweet muse of love to educate the mind.

Imagination,
Life,
Peace and love;
But you are ready to learn from everybody and,
You want ot marry a poet!
And, this poem is for you my love.

How lovely is your heart?
How lovely is your muse?
How lovely is your mind?
For, the great seagull in now in the sky! !
And, you are at the seaside waiting for your lover because,
You want to marry a poet.

Young Munro the Sailor

'Twas on a sunny morning in the month of May,
I met a pretty damsel on the banks o' the Tay;
I said, My charming fair one, come tell to me I pray,
Why do you walk alone on the banks o' the Tay.

She said, Kind sir, pity me, for I am in great woe
About my young sailor lad, whose name is James Munro;
It's he has been long at sea, seven years from this day,
And I come here sometimes to weep for him that's far, far away.

Lovely creature, cease your weeping and consent to marry me,
And my houses and all my land I will give to thee,
And we shall get married without any delay,
And live happy and contented on the banks o' the Tay.

Believe me, my sweet lady, I pity the sailor's wife,
For I think she must lead a very unhappy life;
Especially on a stormy night, I'm sure she cannot sleep,
Thinking about her husband whilst on the briny deep.

Oh, sir! it is true, what you to me have said,
But I must be content with the choice I've made;
For Munro's he's young and handsome, I will ne'er deny,
And if I don't get him for a husband, believe me, I will die.

Because, when last we parted, we swore to be true,
And I will keep my troth, which lovers ought to do;
And I will pray for his safe return by night and by day,
That God may send him safe home to the banks o' the Tay.

Forgive me, noble heart, for asking to marry you,
I was only trying your love, if it was really true;
But I've found your love is pure towards your sailor lad,
And the thought thereof, believe me, makes my heart feel glad.

As homeward we retraced our steps her heart seemed glad,
In hopes of seeing again her brave sailor lad,
He had promised to marry her when he would return,
So I bade her keep up her spirits and no longer mourn.

Dear creature, the lass that's true to her sweetheart deserves great praise,
And I hope young Munro and you will spend many happy days,
For unto him I know you will ever prove true,
And perchance when he comes home he will marry you.

What you have said, kind sir, I hope will come true,
And if it does, I'll make it known to you;
And you must come to the marriage, which you musn't gainsay,
And dance and rejoice with us on the marriage-day.

When we arrived in Dundee she bade me good-bye,
Then I told her where I lived, while she said with a sigh,
Kind sir, I will long remember that morning in May,
When I met you by chance on the banks o' the Tay.

When three months were past her sailor lad came home,
And she called to see me herself alone,
And she invited me to her marriage without delay,
Which was celebrated with great pomp the next day.

So I went to the marriage with my heart full of joy,
And I wished her prosperity with her sailor boy;
And I danced and sang till daylight, and then came away,
Leaving them happy and contented on the banks o' the Tay.

So all ye pretty fair maids, of high or low degree,
Be faithful to your sweethearts when they have gone to sea,
And never be in doubts of them when they are far away,
Because they might return and marry you some unexpected day.

A Lovely Man And A lovely Woman

I've met a lovely man who never got a lovely woman to marry,
I've also met a lovely woman who never got a lovely man to marry;
But life is like that at times,
For the rainbow do have many colours.

Take your weapons, quiver and bow;
For your tasty food of love is about to be shared among your lovers;
And like two choice kids of goats in the wilderness,
But just do it like it is on this love.

The dew of heaven and the fatness of the earth are around you,
And like Route 66 in the land far away from you! !
But i am now going into the Valley of Gerar,
For i've learnt a lot from the wells of water around me.

The land is four hundred shekels of silver but,
Many still have married their wrong partners in this life!
But the forest consumes many by night and of the drought by day,
And like the female and the male servants on camels and donkeys.

Tainted Vows

I am not against marriage.
Nor am I a prude.
I can understand marrying once.
And having that marriage not work out.
I've done it.
With sympathies extended.
But after two?
A third knock out I've avoided.
I know what I can and can not do.

Those who marry three, four, five and six times?
Should know be then,
It is not the marriage they intend.
But it is the love for the ceremony!
And not for the person foolish enough,
To hear tainted vows...
Confessed to repeat over and over again!
With no guarantee...
That person they marry is listening.

Tattler

(ry cooder/russ titelman/washington phillips)
Whenever you find a man that loves every woman he sees,
Theres always some kind of woman thats a-puttin him up a tree.
Now that kind of man, he aint got as much sense as a mule.
You know, everyone dont love you, theyre just a-playin you for a fool
Mmmm, oh, no,
Its not hard for you to understand.
True love can be such a sweet harmony
If you do the best that you can.
If you marry the wrong kind of woman and you get where you cant agree,
Well, you just as well could get your hat and let that woman be.
But a man oughta make a good husband and quit tryin to lead a fast life.
Goin about dressin up other women wont put clothes on his own wife
Well, theres lots of good women who wants to marry, and they want to live well at home.
But theyre fraid theyll might get hold of a rowdy man, cant let other women alone.
And theres lots of good men wants to marry, and they wants to live well at home.
But every time they turn their back, theres another man there askin, darlin, is he gone?
