Engineering is a great profession. There is the fascination of watching a figment of the imagination emerge through the aid of science to a plan on paper. Then it moves to realisation in stone or metal or energy. Then it brings homes to men or women. Then it elevates the standard of living and adds to the comforts of life. This is the engineer's high privilege.

The engineer is the key figure in the material progress of the world. It is his engineering that makes a reality of the potential value of science by translating scientific knowledge into tools, resources, energy and labor to bring them into the service of man... To make contributions of this kind the engineer requires the imagination to visualize the needs of society and to appreciate what is possible as well as the technological and broad social age understanding to bring his vision to reality.

Engineering is the science of economy, of conserving the energy, kinetic and potential, provided and stored up by nature for the use of man. It is the business of engineering to utilize this energy to the best advantage, so that there may be the least possible waste.

Engineering is not merely knowing and being knowledgeable, like a walking encyclopedia; engineering is not merely analysis; engineering is not merely the possession of the capacity to get elegant solutions to non-existent engineering problems; engineering is practicing the art of the organized forcing of technological change... A Gift you give Yourself....
Forgiving,
Becomes easy,
Once we realise
Its a waste of energy...
The realisation
Of our own imperfection,
Leads to transformation
Of mental formations...
Heals our fragile ego
And we let go.
To empower,
Water flowers.
With this insight
Inflamed passions take flight...
you exclaim,
Ah, peace reclaimed...
Forgiving is to offer,
no resistance to life...
Or else life,
Is full of strife...
Some transgressions
Are meant for self REALISATION
There is a divine plan...
so judge not or condemn.

Watch Closely Now
Watch closely now
You'll observe a curious exchange of energy
Are you a figment of my imagination
Or I one of yours?
Watch closely now - are you watching me now?
Your eyes are like fingers
They're touching my body and arousing my soul
Ridin' the passion arisin' inside me
How high can I go?
You're comin' with me girl
I'm gonna show you how
When it's scary, don't look down
Watch closely now - are you watching me now?
I see the hunger arise in your eyes and it's a-urging me on
Higher and harder and faster and farther
Than I've ever gone
You're comin' closer lady
Don't ya leave me now
We're gonna make it
Don't look down
Maybe I'm takin' me too many chances
With no net at all
Maybe I'll teach you at least that
You've got to be free when you fall
Watch closely now - are you watching me now?
I'm the master magician, who's setting you free
From the lies you've been told
When they're breaking your back
Bring your last straw to me
I turn straw into gold
I'm gonna need you later
When you're not around
But I can take it
Don't look down
Watch closely now
Are you watching me now?...

Fighting-Chance
He has a fighting-chance of working with his figment,
The figment he remembers for all his long-term memory.
A field of ingoing thoughts waits to be proclaimed,
The jeep of all worries is in his whole span of life.
The jaws of youth were closed and it felt like a jaunt
That carried from noisome events, stupid occasions,
The nocturnal ideas indicated new options of disgust.
By the off chance, a thought collected to straighten,
But it turned out that the figment was reddening his face.
The figment of imagination, an officious training of the mind,
Protected him as if, and one day felt like a bird’s rectrix,
For the imagination was given revenge afterwards.
The reuse of the thoughts gained pace, speeded up,
And returfed the spectrum of thought called the Mind.

I just cant stand still, Ive got to use her
Every time I think of what you pulled me through, dear
Fascination moves sweeping near me
Still I take ya

Seems that everywhere I turn
I hope youre waiting for me

Fascination, takes a part of me
One time

Fascination comes around

My Science Fiction Twin
My science fiction twin
Is doing better than expected
He captured a little blonde trophy wife
Whos really very well connected
And when he calls home with his alibi
She says is this really necessary?
But she knows that a man cant be a man
Unless hes punishing his secretary
He sips in the glow of a 61 vintage
Just as the day is dimming
With every intention of surrendering
To fifty-foot women
Who put the fascination back into my science fiction twin
My science fiction twin
Decided to become invisible
He has my eyes, my face, my voice
But hes only happy when Im miserable
The words flew from his mouth
And they were gently gathered by reporters
Trying to frame his once infamous flame
With tattered pictures of her daughter
Her hair is all made out of porcupine
Her figure is fantastic
But as you know, they corrupted her
So theyre being sarcastic
Who put the fascination back into my science fiction twin
Hell scream and shout
Everything is working out just as he predicted
Pride and position in the gallery of attempted people
Oh and the pain is so sweet
Better stamp his little feet
And youll even have time to pity me
How can you feel content?
You wonder where this fellow went
My science fiction twin
Escorted by his lovely nieces
Filled up his purse dictating verse
While painting masterpieces
His almost universal excellence
Is starting to disturb me
They asked how in the world he does all these things
And he answered superbly
Hes trapped in his own parallel dimension
Thats why Im so forgiving
But how could I possibly forget to mention those fifty-foot women
Who put the fascination back into my science fiction twin
My science fiction twin [4x]

Dreams Nascent
My world is a painted fresco, where coloured shapes
Of old, ineffectual lives linger blurred and warm;
An endless tapestry the past has women drapes
The halls of my life, compelling my soul to conform.
The surface of dreams is broken,
The picture of the past is shaken and scattered.
Fluent, active figures of men pass along the railway, and I am woken
From the dreams that the distance flattered.
Along the railway, active figures of men.
They have a secret that stirs in their limbs as they move
Out of the distance, nearer, commanding my dreamy world.
Here in the subtle, rounded flesh
Beats the active ecstasy.
In the sudden lifting my eyes, it is clearer,
The fascination of the quick, restless Creator moving through the mesh
Of men, vibrating in ecstasy through the rounded flesh.
Oh my boys, bending over your books,
In you is trembling and fusing
The creation of a new-patterned dream, dream of a generation:
And I watch to see the Creator, the power that patterns the dream.
The old dreams are beautiful, beloved, soft-toned, and sure,
But the dream-stuff is molten and moving mysteriously,
Alluring my eyes; for I, am I not also dream-stuff,
Am I not quickening, diffusing myself in the pattern, shaping and shapen?
Here in my class is the answer for the great yearning:
Eyes where I can watch the swim of old dreams reflected on the molten metal of dreams,
Watch the stir which is rhythmic and moves them all as a heart-beat moves the blood,
Here in the swelling flesh the great activity working,
Visible there in the change of eyes and the mobile features.
Oh the great mystery and fascination of the unseen Shaper,
The power of the melting, fusing Force—heat, light, all in one,
Everything great and mysterious in one, swelling and shaping the dream in the flesh,
As it swells and shapes a bud into blossom.
Oh the terrible ecstasy of the consciousness that I am life!
Oh the miracle of the whole, the widespread, labouring concentration
Swelling mankind like one bud to bring forth the fruit of a dream,
Oh the terror of lifting the innermost I out of the sweep of the impulse of life,
And watching the great Thing labouring through the whole round flesh of the world;
And striving to catch a glimpse of the shape of the coming dream,
As it quickens within the labouring, white-hot metal,
Catch the scent and the colour of the coming dream,
Then to fall back exhausted into the unconscious, molten life!

How Many Women Are Out There?
How many women are out there,
That are looking for a man?
That would fight for what he believes in,
And would do whatever he can.
How many women are out there,
That wish that they could find?
A man that looks at future.
Not the things that are left behind.
How many women are out there,
That seek a man who's true?
When the situation arises,
It's the right thing he will do.
How many women are out there,
Looking for a man with determined heart?
To change the things he needs to change,
To make a brand new start.
How many women are out there,
That are looking for a friend?
One that would always be there for you.
On him you could depend.
How many women are out there,
That are looking for a lover?
To hold you hand when you walk around,
And hold your heart under the covers.
How many women are out there,
Think this man does not exist?
A figment of your imagination.
Is it one you can't resist?
How many women are out there,
That this is your desire?
This is the man you're seeking.
The one who'll light your fire.
How many women are out there,
They think that this man could be?
I'll let you know he does exist.
That man is simply me.

Many Do Have Their Doubts About This
Yes...
Many do have their doubts about this.
But we are that 'energy' on Earth,
Reflecting image.
An energy that reflects,
From the Sun...
As it is given.
And how this is done,
Adds to the mystery of 'IT'.
What and 'Who' we refer to as being God...
Is more than just an image.
We are 'cells' within a Mind,
So magnificent...
This 'Greatness' has chosen,
To keep our own minds blind.
Yes...
Many do have their doubts about this.
But we are that 'energy' on Earth,
Reflecting image.
An energy that reflects,
From the Sun...
As it is given.
And how this is done,
Adds to the mystery of 'IT'.
Like fruit picked from a tree.
Or from a vine to peel.
Under the skin...
That's where the deliciousness,
Carried within us is revealed.
And the trees support us with air to breathe.
We take for granted,
The ease presented by this complexity.
Yes...
Many do have their doubts about this.
But we are that 'energy' on Earth,
Reflecting image.
An energy that reflects,
From the Sun...
As it is given.
And how this is done,
Adds to the mystery of 'IT'.
And 'something' tells me very soon...
We are going to learn much more,
About our existence!

I want u
Fascination
I want u, I do
Fascination chamber lands on the round that kills
The art u hoped 2 mirror like
Leaves blood upon the sill
The dream u keep dreaming, is better than the life u lead
The papers run out a day and 13 hours, b4 the weed, its so high
Fascination
Still I want u
Fascination
Still I want u, I do
The head u thought was rolling, is now reason 2 b bored
The rapper that gave that head will thank his manager b4 the lord
And the headache that u moan about feels much better than the treatment would
The pills gonna leave a side effect
Thatll take another pill 2 correct
And the whole thing is leaving u feeling less than good
And u still high
...nation
Fascination
Fascination
Fascination
Do u mind if I just watch u shake it
Shake it {4x}
...nation
I want u
Fascination
I want u, I do
The most vital thing u thought
Is the epitome of doom
U can wake-up in cold sweat
Cause 1 of them is in ure room
Singin on the tele
Making more bucks than sense
So called king gives birth 2 so called ... prince
A breakups bitter taste
Still here when the love is gone
And the breaks u wish 4
Finally comes among in song
Working it out
Work, work, work, working it out
Fascination

Mad Men In Metal Machines
...ignition...the message...faster, faster...
Transmission...engine...hes outa control, look at
The screen there, I cant control the trajectory of
The ship...
Mad men, metal machines
Circa 1995, he did the show, no ones alive
By fall of 1999, [...], look at it shine
Mad men in metal machines
Well look out for the ones with the energy beams
All the joys of working overtime
[...trying to... all of your lives]
Slipping into girls and boys
[...]
[tonight...]
[and ... each other...]
[new gun ... moving faster...]
Better make your move before its too late
Put away your wheelchair and cane, that you dont need
Recall that youve been changed
Relax, relax dont bend your mind
[... things will be fine]
Mad men in metal machines
Well look out for the ones with the energy beams
Look at all those men
Watching everybody on the video screen
[...scene]
Watch out for the ones with the energy beam

On My Way
With no shadow and no image,
I wonder on my way,
a figment of someone’s imagination
that disappears in the dawning light.
Still I wander on my way
looking for somewhere to settle,
always looking, and never finding
that place to settle down
where I can rest forever
until my time comes.
Still I wander on my way
with hope that one day
my restless wanderings
will finally be through.
If you see me,
I will be thought of as a dream
or a figment of your imagination
as I have no shadow and no image
to test the light of day.
