Trotsky rises to give me his hand, then sits at his desk, gently allowing his regard to light on my person.

How sad Trotsky's last words?

Lev Davidowich Bronstein.
(He assumed the name Leon Trotsky in 1902)
The exiled Bolshevik leader
Who was settled in Mexico in 1936.
On 20, August 1940 an assasin called Franck Johnson
A French Jew, acting on Stalin's orders
Stabbed Trotsky with an Ice Pick,
Fatally wounded in him
And he died the following day in Coyoacan.
His skull fractured with pickaxe.
How sad Trotsky's last words;
'I think Stalin has finished the job he started.'

*In 1926 they expelled him from the Politiburo; And in 1928 Stalin exiled him to Central Asia and 1929 expelled him from the USSR.
The play depicts the death of Leon Trotsky in varying ways.End of the play; Ramon Mercader, the Spanish Assasin who smashed, not buried, the axe into Trotsky's skull.

Cabin on Loon Lake

INTERIOR kitchen of rustic cabin
in remote region of northern Michigan
wind howling snow swirling visible
through small window at left

Disheveled man sits at makeshift desk
sorting through stacks of paper
Angular woman leans against iron sink
smoking cigarette after cigarette

MAN> You use the checkbook?

Woman looks around room, smiling.
She gestures toward a cabinet against the wall.

WOMAN> There's some Wheaties in the cupboard.

Man looks startled as he rises to his feet

MAN> You know what I'm saying?

Woman stubs out cigarette in a chipped coffee cup.
She fishes out another from the pack in her shirt pocket.

Man comes around desk and hands her a folded sheet.
Woman unfolds paper and studies it.

WOMAN> This is just plain crazy.

Man turns to desk and unrolls a length of blueprint.
He smooths it and points at the center of the sheet.

WOMAN> I like it.

Gently

(words & music by wizell - lisbona)
Gently your eyes met mine
Tender, trusting, true
Gently your hand took mine
Thrilled me through and through
Gently, oh so gently
Gentle as the dawn
Gently, oh so gently
Our true love was born
Gently your lips kissed mine
As we strolled along
Gently your heart touched mine
Young and warm and strong
Gently the hour is near
When true loves have to part
Gently well meet again
One more kiss, sweetheart

This Heart Of Mine

If you see my heart laying on the ground
Would you pick it up, and then put it down?

Or would you hold it softly like a butterfly
In your hand, and would you caress
it gently and say you understand.

Would you feel the beat that gently pounds away
Or would you just leave it for someone else
Who may come this way.

Would you look at the heart to see if it's
Been damaged or hurt
Or would you love it and give it a brand new birth.

It may only be a heart, but it's the blood
That flows thru its veins and gives it life.

And this may be the heart of your
Husband or your wife.

Pick up my heart and hold it to the light
For GOD had given me this
As the ultimate sacrifice.

He gave it to us all, just so that
We could see - that he is always
There protecting this part of you and me.

My heart is not just to give life
But to show life, and all of its beauties
That it can create
So treat it gently before it's much too late.

The Eternal Twins: Love And Hate

It consumes without regard
It shape without regard
It bends you to its will
We are helpless in its power

We look for it but it finds us
It devours without regard
It destroys without regard
It brought nations to its knees
And lifted its people

It gives power without regard
It enslaves without regard
We are but pebbles in its wake
When it overflows in us

And yet.... Its ugly twin holds
Power over it

It consumes without regard
It shapes without regard
It bends you to its will
We are helpless in its power....

Give Me Your Hand

Give me your hand
Some had request a life
Some a heart some a wife
But me, give me your hand
Some had desire your whole
Some your smile others your soul
But as for me give me your hand
Some will plead to stare at your beauty
Others will die to match your quality
But me, give me your hand
Some had grace the day you will nurce their seeds
Some had vow to grant your needs
As for me, give me your hand
I have not a single word to wisper
But my gentle hand is there to offer
So please give me your hand
I will wash it with my blood
And wipe it with bliss from God
You just give me your hand
I have nothing to lift you above
But I will raise your hand with love
Give me your hand
Let us cross huddles with a solmn sing
While I slot the propose ring
Will you give me your hand?

Bland And Dry And Negligible

sometimes we simply close our eyes
on some ugly things

we choose not to hurt somehow
those who never chose to be
bland, dry and negligible

given the choice why should they stay
on such a disliked state somehow?

we simply sit there and pretend nothing disturbs us
we sip our coffee slowly savoring the appearance of new light
we place one hand on the table as the other hand keep the handle of the cup

the human person facing you cracks a conversation
you pretend you listen but you understand the pain
things are not equal
life is not fair
there are those who are unlucky
some protest their fates
despite all the hard work
they still arrive at nothing but losses and regrets

meanwhile the early morning sun rises slowly to make a brand new day
you utter the prayers

Lord, Lord, keep us, keep us,
make us understand, make us feel you
give us hope
make us live another day
give us peace.

then you face the human being in front of you.
paying attention.

Wake Me Gently

I was scared to death
Afraid to close my eyes
And find that I was gone
Like every other one
Who left before the dawn
I vanished in the air
Am I still there
Wake me gently
If you can Wake me gently
Just touch my hand
Wake me gently
Pull my sleeve
'Cuz where I'm at
Is where I want to leave
And in my sleep
I look so lifeless on this bed
Laid out on satin sheets
This dream's a novel
That I don't dare complete
No happy ending read
I think the hero's dead
Wake me gently
If you can
Wake me gently
Just touch my hand
Wake me gently
Pull my sleeve
'Cuz where I'm at
Is where I want to leave
Me to my slumber
And I'll never come home
Please help me, I'm frightened
Of what's going on
What's going on
And if I can't wake up Will I be all alone
A stranded orphan here
Or will I bump into
Some other wandering soul
And will they talk to me
Somebody, somebody please rescue me
Wake me gently
If you can
Wake me gently
Just touch my hand
Wake me gently
Pull my sleeve
'Cuz where I'm at
Is where I want to leave
I wanna leave
I wanna leave
I wanna wake up
I wanna leave
I don't wanna stay
I wanna leave
I wanna go
I wanna go home
I wanna go home
Just wake me up
I wanna go home
Wake me up please
'Cuz I wanna go home
I wanna go home
Wake me
Wake me

Made By Hand

made by hand....
dreams woven
in a fine cloth....

steps made of stone,
laid one upon the other.
shelter made of oak,

cut and hauled,
nailed together in the sun,
able to stand the night.

this window made of glass,
allowing light and dark
to intertwine....

this old bed made of pine....
the path to the doorway
laid with pine needles....

this old door always open....
the light always on....
this heart made by hand,

waiting for you,
in this stillness...
made by hand!

Truly Thank You

Lord I Thank You
For everything that You do
For allowing me to see
The gift of a new day
Blessing me to be
The best me that I can be
The person that I am destined to be
Someone who is passionate
And so ready to walk
Down the path directed for me
For having the knowledge
As well as the confidence
In a strong faith
For the many tests
And less monies (moanings)
For every last testimony
For making my burdens light
And a future that is bright
A family that unites
In times of trouble
For the courage to be able
To look trouble in the face
Knowing that trouble
Won't last always
And last but certainly
Not the least
I Thank You
For putting the love in my heart
To give You
Your praise
It is what I do the best!

When There's Darkness, The Will Always Be Light

When There's Darkness, There will always be light

It was said that
Every corner of darkness,
There will always a spark of light
To eases the burden of human kind

The light will gives us hope
To live for tomorrow
The light will gives us strength
To fight for what we believe in
The light will gives us faith
To carry on living.

The light will gives us power
To stand up for our rights
To help others who is in need
To save the world from destruction and extinction
To give them the strength
To fight for tomorrow

The light is a person
Who will rise from the ashes
Who will help us to make the world a better place
Who will keep us from falling
Who will save us all from the disaster of the world

This person is an unknown person
Who will lead us all from the crisis
Who will lead us to our freedom

Morning Muse

I lay awake
allowing time to pass
my muse sleeps
laid in my arms
fully beautiful
I am blessed
I close my eyes
take stock of thoughts
a day dream
becomes nothing new
I place a kiss
gently
upon my muses head
almost breathless
I watch
how such beauty
sleeps
yet fills my head
with noise and colour
I am awake
allowing time to pass

When the sun rises in the morning

When the sun rises in the morning
away in the east it hangs red
and all the trees in this autumn
are already leafless
but there are still flowers flaunting brightly
on the white rose,
with some bees flying around it
where it rocks gently in the light breeze.

The Torch of Freedom

we light the torch of freedom
when we put a name
to every face
a hand in every hand,
a cup and a bowl
before every hungry soul

we light the torch of freedom
when we restore dignity
in our every action
when we take responsibility
for every thought,
every word,
every deed.

we light the torch of freedom
when we give more than
we can afford to.
give unconditionally,
give without remorse!
we light the torch of freedom

Stream Of Consciousness

Stream of consciousness

Thoughts that come at random
With no foresight and no plan
My fingers type at their own volition
With no structured idea at hand

I live in an environment of inquietude
In an ambiance of unease and perhaps fear
There’s a weight upon my forehead
A sense of loss of things I hold dear

Today’s a day much like any other
I read, I eat, yet feel so incomplete,
and blandly smiling at me in calm so replete
On my desk, photos of sisters and brother

Just to sit and compose idle randomness
At my desk, takes my mind away for a bit
Yet at the back of my mind sits emptyness
And knowing I cannot escape from it

This bit of inane exposition
Is from my fingers and not of my mind
I try to stop all conscious thought
And let my fingers write blind

My busy fingers put a name
To unconscious sentiments so sad
Stream of consciousness
says more of the same…and that..
I’m slowly going mad
