Yes, I was invited to make the sound environment at a booth of a huge electronic company, during the Hanover Industrial Fair in 1973. It was a job. Slightly good paid. But not as much as my producer then told the press.

We The Electronic
See us on the underground
Packed up in our sardine cans
Tailor made with suits and shades
Lipstick teeth and waxwork hands
Electronic, we're electronic
Jumping on conveyor belts
Escalators in our heads
Programmed for another day
Talking to a faceless friend
Electronic, so moronic
We're electronic, we the electronic
Electronic
Hear the ticking in our beds
Find the balance in our heads
Wishing we could make a change
See the morning coming in
Electronic, so moronic
We're electronic, we the electronic
Electronic
Electronic, so moronic
We're electronic, we the electronic

Briefs 6
The Universe is neither good nor bad-
Good is mere cultural consensus
And what is profitable for you to think or do
As a member of a group
With an assigned role therein.
Good is what your parents told you was good.
Good is what your peers told you was good.
Good is what the Press told you was good.
Good is what your payer tells you is good
Good is what you wouldn't know was good
Had you not been told, for good is expediency.
And whatever determines the best chance of getting paid.
And if you can clothe expediency with idealogy, oh my-
Then you've really got something!
Good unallied with expediency? Well,
'Do unto others' is still the best code
for the man who wants to do the right thing.
Using this code you cannot go wrong.

Esther, A Sonnet Sequence: VII
I had made my round, as yet with little gain
Of undiscovered good in that gay place.
I had sought my share of pleasure, but in vain.
Laughter was not for me, and hid her face.
I had asked for mirth. The oracles were dumb.
No sound of Folly with her tinkling feet
Had bid my own feet follow, and no home
Was mine for merriment or musings sweet.
I had ceased to hope and almost ceased to seek,
When, from the farthest booth of all, the bray
Of brass and drums and fiddling and the shriek
Of a dwarf's voice invited me to stay.
The crowd, as scenting some more mirthful thing,
Surged round that booth agape and wondering.

The Key
There comes a time in one's life,
When silence becomes the preferred company.
Joined by a peace of mind invited.
Providing what has been needed,
To have gone unrecognized as if in disguise...
Fo so long.
Feeling whole and complete...
Is the key that unlocks a happiness released.
And to feel whole AND complete...
Can not be replaced by 'things' one seeks.
With a doing of what one pleases,
Feels so good.
It is nice in one's life,
When silence becomes invited.
And stays as one's preferred company.
With a peace that can not be described.
To slice with a taste of it day and night,
Feels so good.
'Excuse me.
It is time for my slice of peace.
And I can't afford to miss it.'

Bad Company
Company, always on the run
Destiny is the rising sun
I was born six gun in my hand
Behind the gun I make my final stand
That's why they call me
Bad company, I can't deny
Bad, bad company
'Til the day I die
Rebel soul, deserters we are called
Chose a gun and threw away the sword
Now these towns, they all know our names
Six gun sound is our claim to fame
I can hear 'em say
Bad company, and I won't deny
Bad, bad company
'Til the day I die

World Environment Day
Be in Nature's tune
On 5th of June
Celebrate Environment Day
Come forward without delay
To put in action what teachers say
Make environment clean
Don't throw here and there
Wastes, garbage and rags
Use earthen pots and paper bags
Say good bye to polythene
To make environment better
Each one plant one more tree
To make Earth greener
And pollution free

The Company Man
(magne furuholmen / paul waaktaar)
Andy was the company man
Responsible for signing the band
Songs came out of our mouths
And into his hands
Oh yeah
Legal help, yes we had plenty
Bank-accounts are easy to empty
Everybodys trying to help
Everyone is so friendly
Oh yeah
And we all come down
Dont make a sound as we hit the ground
Yes we all fall down
Dont make a sound as we hit the ground
Give us something easy to sing to
Give us something simple to cling to
Something we can all understand
Said the company man
Oh yeah
We sing
And we all fall down
Dont make a sound as we hit the ground
Yes we all fall down
Dont make a sound as we hit the ground
Yes we all fall down
Dont make a sound as we hit the ground
May we all fall down
Dont make a sound as we hit the ground

Hold Back The River
Stop your pretending
Listen to what Ive got to say
How your heads went away
Only here for a day
And that grave I just made
Is for me when I get paid
Wont you wait a while
Move to the blue
Sometimes people dont want to say
Old time dancers dont die that way
See that grave Ive just made
Its for me when I get paid
Somebodys gotta hold back the river
Somebody like you
Do you love and surrender
Sometimes I dont feel I can remember
I think its fair to mention
About the days when I get paid
Somebodys gotta hold back the river
Somebody like you
Somebodys gotta hold back the river
Somebody like you
I want a little loving
I told you all to listen
But you never liked what you heard
I take what I am given
This may sound absurd
I share a double vision
That started the transition
Hey wheres jimmy jazz
Steady on the scale
I told you to listen
I told you all to listen
Somebodys gotta hold back the river
Somebody like you
Somebodys gotta hold back the river
Somebody like you
You know that somebody
You know that somebody
You know that somebody
But it aint you

Producer/fall From The Grace Of The People
Earth shares what earth receives
And now only blood brings life
A tiller bring life, producer bring life
Protector bring life, soiled hands bring life
The tree of democracy shall be watered by the blood of revolution
So go plant a seed, go plant a seed for harvest
Go plant a seed for harvest producer
Producer, producer, producer, producer
Producer, producer, producer, producer
Producer, producer, producer, producer
Producer, producer, producer, producer
Producer, producer, producer, producer
Producer, producer
And it all shall fall by the grace of the people and
It all shall fall by the grace of the people and
It all shall fall by the grace of the people and
It all shall fall by the grace of the people and
It all shall fall
It all shall fall
I first met you and the ideas you uphold while incarserated
A victim of a social experiment
Eventually addicted to your eight hour injections of hypocracy and
Arrogance and greed
Forced to sit with coplicity in front of my executioners
As they blugeoned me with their so called superior values and demanded my submission
I bacame an indentured servant in a factory
Where I myself was the product
Whos useful quality was to protect their palaces
Every word uttered from their mouths strangeled me
So that every thought I express
Shall sow the seed for the noose around their necks
And set fire to their homes
And every word uttered from their mouths strangeled me
So that every thought I express
Shall sow the seed for the noose around their necks
And set fire to their homes
And set fire to their homes
And set fire to their homes
And set fire to their homes
And set fire to their homes
And it all shall fall by the grace of the people and
It all shall fall by the grace of the people and
It all shall fall by the grace of the people and
It all shall fall by the grace of the people and
It all shall fall by the grace of the people and
It all shall fall
