I am hoping the four new players can bring in some energy and fresh enthusiasm because they do not have the baggage that comes from being part of a losing side.

Fun is fundamental. There is no way around it. You absolutely must have fun. Without fun, there is no enthusiasm. Without enthusiasm, there is no energy. Without energy, there are only shades of gray.
The Game Players of America
The game players of America,
Are first bred in our neighborhoods.
They are conditioned to be gangsters,
Crooks and hoodlums.
And put on trial for their criminal denials.
The game players of America,
Are taught to deceive, lie and cheat.
Hussel stolen goods on urban streets.
Go to some church to pray and sing.
And on Wednesdays study Bible verse...
To enable them to be forgiven,
For the sins upon themselves they bring.
The game players of America,
Are part Hollywood mixed with truth.
Part naïve, innocent and uncouth.
And mentally driven to anything falsified that shines.
Conditioned with materialistic mindsets.
And quick to claim what is theirs...
With a factor that begins,
With a carelessness most times.
The game players of America,
Can be said to be thoughtless, rude and self indulgent.
But if they are not into the game to win...
Losing for them,
Becomes a taxpayers involvement.
And high are taxes found,
In cities or towns...
Where they are not known to go down!
Like the blood that's shed and spread on the ground.
However...
Rose colored glasses,
Are on the eyes of everyone.
Distributed free at birth!
And religiously worn.
Whether folks are conducting daily business...
Or hiding behind them hypocritically in some church!

Man On The Side
six numbers
one more to dial
before i'm before you
i tried to call
been busy all night
gave up waiting at daylight
excuse me mrs. busybody
could you pencil me in when you can?
though we both know
that the worst part about it
is i would be free when you wanted me
if you wanted me
oh, i am the man on the side
hoping you'll make up your mind
i am the one who will swallow his pride
life as the man on the side
one of the many
but one of the few
to stand back and wait for you
excuse me mrs. busybody
could you pencil me in when you can?
though we both know that the worst part about it
is i would be free when you wanted me
if you wanted me
if you wanted me
oh, i am the man on the side
hoping you'll make up your mind
i am the one who will swallow his pride
life as the man on the side
life as the man on the side
i fell in love with a dream that i built of you
playing the part of the queen
taking my own advice
i'm giving up tonight
good luck to you and the king
excuse me mrs. busybody
could you pencil in?
though we both know that the worst part about it
is i would be free when you wanted me
if you wanted me
if you wanted me
i am the man on the side
hoping you'll make up your mind
i am the one who will swallow his pride
life as the man
you know life as the man
living life as the man on the side

I Keep Hoping
As I gather my thoughts
With the pieces of my heart
Tell me, how long is forever
Im not afraid and I wont be torn apart
Weve had our time together
Now I make my new beginnings
Ill start again at any cost
Ive learned a lot from losing you
But Ive got nothing if Im lost
And I keep hoping
And I still believe in love
If I wait long enough
I know Ill be strong enough
Yeah, I keep hoping
I believe in faith and trust
Im gonna find a way
There are better days still ahead of us
I keep hoping
Now this candle burns low
It wont last through the night
But Ive found peace
And I know its all right
I try to understand
Whats been missing in my life
Between the darkness and the daylight
No Im not expecting miracles
Ive got my doubts like any other one
Ive learned a lot from losing you
But Ive got nothing if Im lost
And I keep hoping
I still believe in love
If I wait long enough
I know Ill be strong enough
And I keep hoping
I believe, I believe in faith and trust
There are better days, better days, around of us now, still ahead of us, aaah
I keep hoping, I keep hoping
I keep hoping
I keep hoping and praying baby, oooh
And I still believe in love
I keep hoping, I keep hoping baby, oooh
Im gonna find a way
I keep hoping, I keep hoping baby
There are better days, ooh, better days
I keep hoping, hoping and praying
And I still believe in love
I keep hoping, I keep hoping
I keep hoping . . .

But if Russia is to be part of this larger zone of peace it cannot bring into it its imperial baggage. It cannot bring into it a policy of genocide against the Chechens, and cannot kill journalists, and it cannot repress the mass media.

The Love Energy...
I don't believe in distances
I don't believe in spaces
I don't believe in time
I don't believe in borders
cause All I believe
Is in the energy
The energy that transforms
The energy that creates
The energy that projects
The energy that rises
And bring us togather
Cause since I meet you
I become into the Love Energy
fluiding on my veins
giving a reason to my existence
Turning my monotomy
into the Illusion of be loved
And getting us closer
to posses you
from my soul,
from my body,
from my heart...
cause everything I just can say
is that I Love You!

Throw It All Away
This feeling's back today
It's so deceiving like it's never leaving
same as yesterday
As the pressure's mounting I continue counting
Why can't I drive this image from my mind
It's true that you pushed me to the point
I think I've taken all I'm going to take
This really starts to sting
The bullshit and the baggage that you bring
I'm gonna throw it all away
Throw it all away
I feel like I'm on trial
Its never ending not worth defending
Been like this for awhile
The tides are turning I'm finally learning
I think I've taken all I'm going to take
This really starts to sting
The bullshit and the baggage that you bring
I'm gonna throw it all away
Throw it all away
Throw it all away, throw it all away
Throw it all away, throw it all away
Why can't I drive this image from my mind
It's true that you pushed me to the point
I think I've taken all I'm going to take
This really starts to sting
The bullshit and the baggage that you bring
[repeat chorus]

Enthusiasm
One who is possessed by God,
Is known as a person with Enthusiasm;
He is at the threshold to the Lord,
And has with him no phantasm.
His mind is fresh as a rose,
And he is ever present in his work;
At it he is positive and close,
And desires to do things and not shirk.
He never acts in hurry and haste,
And on any person does bank;
He is prudent and doesn't waste,
His quest is to be high in rank.
He ever wishes to take in knowledge,
Wherein his charisma steadily increases;
With enthusiasm he gets enough courage,
And he doesn't deviate from his creases.
He is ever exuberant and passionate,
And tends to be upbeat and bubbly;
He never likes his job to procrastinate,
And completes things sans mishap, calmly.
In life he is always optimistic,
And is a positive personality;
He plans his work in a manner realistic,
Being vernal and fresh is his speciality.
Like a plant which is in the process of growth,
He drums up , before God, his enthusiasm;
And while he prays he takes in an oath,
Between him and God there should be no chasm.

Fear
what am i most afraid of?
losing my health?
losing my job?
losing my family?
losing my virility?
losing my self-image?
losing my dignity?
losing my sanity?
losing my life?
or ending up alone
in the darkness
without reason or form
or direction.
what am i most afraid of?
and why?

Winners From The Very Beginning
They were all dealt from the same deck.
And played their cards,
Accordingly.
Doing those things they believed were correct.
And whispering over their shoulders,
How they would win over others.
None of the players suspected,
They were being played and used.
None of the players suspected,
They were being used and abused.
And thoese they 'assumed'
Had losing hands.
Because they seemed to have lives,
Bombarded with obstacles.
Actually were the winners from the very beginning,
Because they were the ones...
The dealer had chose.

One of the things I noticed more in this draft than in any recent drafts was the importance of the character issue. Players who had baggage, like Justice, fell much farther than his talent dictated. But a lot of coaches didn't want to take the chance.

Rummage
Being real, true, peaceful
Showing you care
May cause others to think it...
Dare.
People Carrie baggage from their past.
Clogging up the sift'er
In a new relationship.
An 'all-in' sharing is at hand
On an honest tip
You can be real and hip.
If one hole in the sift'er
Is clog
The new relationship
Headed for the fog
Your baggage may cause
Hearing problems...or
Second guesting
Beware of that.
'No holds barred'
In earnest of a new relationship
Sure there maybe some...
Swelling of the past
But remember it was that,
That wasn't honest,
That did not last.
So lose the baggage
Free your hind part
An 'all-in' sharing must be
One objective.
You can do it...
And still be be protective.
P.S. you lose more by
Being honest and that
Which is left...
IS for you.

Fresh Air Waltz
Looking at you now, you seem just a shadow
You had the energy to recharge our batteries
I suppose your success became your security
Darkness is not what you need
You were the one who refused to give up
You were the one who lifted us, lifted us off our knees
Now its our turn to give you some help
Fresh air thats just what you need
Not the stale bread from the failing bitter table
Its so hard
Wheres the justice we cry
Its there and will follow us til the day we die, til
The day that we die
Looking at you know, you seem just a shadow
You had the energy and you recharged our batteries
Now its our turn to give you some help
Fresh air thats just what you need
Now its our turn to give you some help
Fresh air thats just what you need
Thats just what you need

A Life Story
The quietness and brightness of our days
Escaped from here, my dear.
It shouldn't have been that way -
For the memories, fondness, care
Are treasured inside me, and I pray.
Much strength, enthusiasm, determination
Were always at our side
But now there is no celebration
For it suddenly deprived us
Of that positive, sweet Inspiration!
I struggle for regaining my energy
For releasing inner cries and sorrow
That are hindering me from being free
And persist to dig a big hollow!

Claim Check
Its true girls come with baggage,
be she starlet or plain Jane.
The trick for guys is finding one
whose baggage they would claim.
Its said all girls are crazy,
and experience proves it true.
the secret is to find the girl
who’s crazy about you.
Its not as if we’re perfect,
We have baggage of our own.
It‘s the burden we must carry
if we’re to every have a home.

Revelations
Bless you for your anger,
Its a sign of rising energy.
(transform the energy to versatility and it will bring you prosperity)
Bless you for your sorrow,
Its a sign of vulnerability.
(transform the energy to sympathy and it will bring you love)
Bless you for your greed,
Its a sign of great capacity.
(transform the energy to giving,
Give as much as you wish to take and you will receive satisfaction)
Bless you for your jealousy,
Its a sign of empathy.
(transform the energy to admiration
And what you admire will become part of your life)
Bless you for your fear,
Its a sign of wisdom.
(transform the energy to flexibility and you will be free from what you fear)
Bless you for your search of direction.
(transform the energy to receptivity and the direction will come to you)
Bless you for the times you see evil.
(evil feeds on your support. feed not and it will self-destruct.
Shed light and it will cease to be)
Bless you for the times you feel no love.
Open your heart to life anyway
In time you will find love in you.
You are a sea of goodness,
You are a sea of love.
Bless you, bless you, bless you,
Bless you for what you are.
Count your blessings evry day for they are your protection
Which stand between you and what you wish not.
Count your curses and there will be a wall
Which stand between you and what you wish.
The world has all that you need
You have the power to attract what you wish.
Wish for health, wish for joy,
Remember, you are loved.
The world has all that you need
And you have the power to attract what you wish.
Wish for health, wish for joy,
Remember, you are loved.
I love you
