I think the Pistons have such a well rounded team, which is why they're so successful. All you have to do is look at the stats defensively and at their rebounding and scoring.

Football Friday
Friday nite, small towns, big city
Big lights, mark field
quietly awaiting
for bands, fans
school colors, school spirits
pep rally's, scoring alleys
big crowds, cheering fans
cheerleaders dancing, cheering
Root Root for the home team
balls flying, bodies diving
scrambles of run, bombs of passes
scoring touchdowns, holding them down
Win Win hail to our team
Lose Lose hold your heads high
there's another day to win the game
loading bus, cheers and jeers
what a night, for the fight
Win Win for the home crowd
Go Go we won't go
fight fight thru the night
finally a win, what a team
play the game as your first
win it like your last
sportsmanship is the respect
give a hand shake win or lose
till the next game we will go
on another beautiful Friday night

When one guy undermines the other, it only causes trouble, and the team isn't successful. It's very important for both of us to accept our role and help the team. One guy can get hot, and if that's Alex, I'll support him and help any way I can.

I need my football fix
I hate it when the season's over
because football is a drug to me
I have to go cold turkey
and my mind is all at sea.
I can't stand summer sports
like Tennis, Golf, and Cricket,
I've no interest in Wimbledon
and which bowler has taken a wicket.
The months just drag on by
because I need my football fix
so I lie on a beach somewhere
and dream about my team scoring six.
The shrink said I'm a hopeless case
one of the worse cases he's ever seen
he said I was the only patient he'd had
who lied on the couch reading a soccer magazine.
But all I want is next season to hurry up
so I can stop being bored and fed up
then I can go and watch my team
win every game and the F.A.Cup!

Winspiration
Winspiration
The inspiration
That drives you to win
Is
Winspiration
The question of winning comes
When we play a sport
Where winning is the ultimate goal
Defeating the other team
With a better scoring
And by fair means
This winspiration, of course,
Covers a broader range
And it includes
All games we play in life
In sports
The winning team can just walk away
From the scene and the losing team
But in life games
We need to be day in and day out
With the people with whom we play
And be with them
On a continuous relationship
Winspiration in fact provides means for us
Not only to win a game
But also gives
The people, whom were won,
A feeling that
Really they are the one
Who have won
Thus, winspiration
Creates an environment for
Win-win situation rather
A won-lost or lost-won situation
Continue to play life games
Win-inspired so that
There are only winners
All around

Another Football Season
Another Football Season has just commenced having said so just the same
A lot of hype and excitement about a field game
For many from their life problems a relief of sorts
Suppose that's why the establishments created sports.
Some things do seem to change little from year to year
Of football fans discussing football one often does hear
They talk of their Club as if the Club they did own
'Tis from people like them that Football Clubs are grown.
They talk of team ratings and player stats and of last weekend's best on ground
And of who their team are due to play in the next round
And the forward with a goal for the taking who kicked a behind
Next week with the seconds a place he may not find.
Another Football Season commencing the barracker's wife
She does feel neglected but then such is life
He knows about Football and the words of the Club song
And his heart to the Club it does surely belong.

Ravers
Well, we're the ravers, we just want to come out and play
If you try to keep us down, you better get out of our way
If you don't know by now, I'm tellin' you we're here to stay
We're a super-charged machine like a rock-mobile
Our pistons are poppin' right under your wheels
We're the ravers, oh yeah
The ravers (ahh, yeah yeah yeah)
The ravers, look out
They say we're brats with no manners or pride
Our reputation's spreadin' far and wide
A bottle of gin is all we need tonight
A hell-raisin' night
Start to shake, oh yeah
We're a super-charged machine like a rock-mobile
Our pistons are poppin' right under your wheels
We're the ravers, oh yeah
The ravers (yeah, yeah yeah yeah)
The ravers, watch out
We're givin' you the rest, gonna give it to you 'n' you
Look out baby, or we'll get you too
We go anyway, way we choose
Anyway, anyhow, anywhere, we wanted too
Here we go
We're the ravers
The ravers
The ravers (oh yeah)
Well we're a super-charged machine like a rock-mobile
Our pistons are poppin' right under your wheels
We're the ravers, oh yeah
The ravers, yeah yeah yeah, yeah-e-yeah
The ravers come on down
We're here to stay!
