The school made it very clear that women were entitled to positions of authority. That sense of entitlement allowed us to feel that we have a natural place in leadership in the world. That gave me a mental and emotional confidence.

One Reason Why I Do Love Women
Of Arrogant males I have grown tired I meet one or two every day
One reason why I do love women is that they are different to men in every way
We would have less wars if women were leaders and a far better World to live in
With females in positions of power pragmatism would have a big win
We need women as World leaders women who have in them empathy
For most women than men far more caring they see the good in humanity
And women as a whole than men less aggressive a good woman would never rule by fear
Most crimes against humanity are committed by the male kind
many of which we do read of and hear
That women seen as inferior to men in some cultures does seem such a sad thing to say
The arrogant and ignorant of patriarchal societies respect to their women don't pay
There is something wrong and dysfunctional in a Human World
of inequality
We need women in positions of power at least that's how it does seem to me
So lets drink a toast to all women their contribution to World peace not small
And lets drink to every good person as well as to a fair go for all.

People Seek Qualified Leadership
You may be right.
Perhaps it is his skin color,
That is disliked most about him.
However...
I've noticed many with his skin color,
In leadership positions...
Who are despised because of their intelligence.
Do you realize if having intelligence was admired,
We would be faced with few dilemmas?
For some reason...
People seek qualified leadership.
But begin to despise those qualified to lead.

A known betrayal done,
By any other name...
Is a 'betrayal' done just the same.
It is an act to blatantly deceive.
With premeditation planned,
To keep quietly hushed and kept discreet.
Anyone who betrays,
Deserves exactly what they receive.
Whether a remorse filled with guilt.
Or a disgrace shown and given,
From those who feel embittered...
By what to them has taken place.
Expecting empathy and forgiveness,
With a weeping pleading to a loved one...
To understand what they have done.
Are examples of those with minds corrupt.
And like weeds popping up...
Across all lands.
This sickness committed to admit a selfishness...
Few will come to recognize as a tremendous ego trip!
With an overwhelming narcissistic self centered thoughtlessness.
And...
Feelings of an entitlement wished,
That no one else like them can demand.
And those in positions of leadership,
Are not exempt from this.
They are the main ones who feel this way.
With a doing done as they please.
And a caring less,
Who is hurt and offended by their treachery.
No matter how it is addressed to impress...
Those who may be sympathetic,
To the ones like this,
Pathetic!
Anyone who lies to their closest allies...
And dress impeccably with the utmost of etiquette.
Filth and misdeeds are thoughts these people have,
And will not from them leave.
Since they are the beholders of what is perceived,
To be the focal point in their own awe inspiring parade.

If We Had Had Binding Referendums Then Mar 14th 2011
I would like to go back to the sixties when we measured in miles,
And inches and feet and yards and things made sense in great style,
Unfortunately, I can’t go back in time but if I could, I would,
They’ve changed a whole generation and I would not be understood.
I feel like someone from another time and out of place,
Before pompous bureaucratic politicians got in our face,
Before Trudeau wrote his international Charter of Rights,
That allowed terrorists and refugees in High Court fights.
There’s obviously something wrong and we can never put it right,
Finger pointing in Parliament seems to give them great delight,
But leadership is lacking despite their extremely loud talk,
Give us binding referendums like Switzerland or walk.

Why Do Women Cry
I had gotten this from a friend, and the author is unknown
But it is so beautiful I decided to post it for others to read.
There was no title so I added my own title.
Why do women cry
Why are you crying? A young boy asked his mom.
Because I am a woman, she told him.
I don’t understand, he said.
His mom just hugged him and said:
And you never will, but that’s okay.
Later the little boy asked his father,
Why does mom seem to cry for no reason?
All women cry for no reason.
Was all his dad could say.
The little boy grew up and became a man,
Still wondering why women cry.
Finally, he went on his knees and asked god:
GOD*** why do women cry so easily?
And god answered…
When I made women, I decided she had to be special.
I made her shoulders strong enough to carry
The weight of the world,
Yet her arms gentle enough to give comfort!
I gave her the inner strength to endure childbirth
And the rejection that many times will come
even from her own children!
I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going
And take care of her family and friends,
Even when everyone else gives up, through
Sickness and fatigue, without complaint!
I gave her sensitivity to love her children
Under any and all circumstances, even when
her child has hurt her badly!
She has the very special power to make a Childs
Boo-boo feel better and to quell a teenagers
Anxieties and fears.
I gave her the strength to care for her husband,
Despite faults, and I fashioned her from his rib
To protect her heart!
I gave her the wisdom to know that a good husband
Never hurts his wife but sometimes tests
her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly!
Son, for all of this hard work…
I also gave her a tear to shed.
It is hers to use whenever needed and
Is her only weakness!
When you see her cry,
Tell her how much you love her
And all she does for everyone.
And even though she may still cry,
You will have made her heart feel good.
She is special! ! !

Self Destructive Praise
With no sense of natural rhythm.
And no sense of what that beat kept,
Keeps...
Within a soul that can feel this deeply.
Without losing sleep.
Out of tune and out of step...
Are they in search of assurance.

An acceptance of who they are is rejected...
For fear that correcting what is out of sync,

The Safe House
Thank God for a way to escape from the shadows
A refuge where battered women rebuild their tomorrows…
The undisclosed location is free from violent threats
It is a place where women wake without cold sweats
Thank God for a caring staff who was there to guide
People who worked in a place to protect and provide…
Caring people with kind quantities and an angelic heart
Volunteers played with kids... enabling fear to depart
Thank God for the guidance that was given each day
One step at a time, starting to heal and say I’ll be okay
Giving women the confidence to breathe and reorganize
Reassurance gave strength to overcome and revitalize
Thank God for the wonderful women I met in this sanctuary
They had a common trait; bravely doing what was necessary
I recognized myself in each pillar of hope wanting to survive
Mental bruises were visible; we were all glad to be alive
Thank God I had an opportunity to meet these women of worth
Women with varied backgrounds from the corners of the earth...
We lived together and shared caring for young children
With compassion we listened to one another over and over again
Thank God for the strength I gained from the buoyancy of friends
We were not isolated cases; we became a family with dividends
Saying our good byes with embraces, we knew we were all related
