Every man should make up his own mind that if he expect to succeed, he must give an honest return for the other man's dollar.

The man who will use his skill and constructive imagination to see how much he can give for a dollar, instead of how little he can give for a dollar, is bound to succeed.

Top Dollar
Well I tried to find something
Something to hold on to
I thought it was you cause Im sick and tired
Of trying to make something
Something out of nothing
I guess since you were bluffing
Now I think Im losing my mind
The pain in my heart
Was it worth the price?
The pain in my heart
Was it worth the time I wasted on you?
Youre giving me the top dollar blues
And I gave you it all, all
All that I could give you
Youve taken what Ive given
Ynd thrown it all away
Like its nothing
Never meant nothing
Now Im left with nothing
What an awful price Ive paid
The pain in my heart,
Was it worth the price?
The pain in my heart,
Was it worth the time I wasted on you?
Youre giving me the top dollar blues.
Ive bet all my money and thats how it goes
You ran a good race
But you lost just by a nose
Its true.
Baby, youre giving me the top dollar blues.
The top dollar blues,
I gave you it all, all
All that I could give you
And the top dollar blues
Top dollar blues

I Believe in Myself
I believe in God
I believe in myself regardless of what others say
I love myself
I believe in things that others would not believe
I am not insane, but intelligent
I know and feel in my heart that anything can be possible
I never give up even when it feels impossible
I will succeed
I will succeed
No one can take away my pride but me
I will succeed
I will succeed
Just you wait and see

Expect Your ………….You!
Expect your friend to be not better than you;
Expect your neighbor to not forgive you;
Expect your country not to goad you;
Expect your siblings to but discourage you;
Expect your children to not care for you;
Expect your spouse to rather hinder you;
Expect your love to always forget you;
Expect your home sometimes to ignore you;
Expect your native place to not honor you;
Expect the world to disregard you;
Expect your enemy to well hate you;
Expect your Maker to much love you;
Expect your God to never forsake you;
Expect your Lord and God to never abandon you.

Expect No Mercy
If youre ready for the street
You wanna mix it in some fight
Let me tell you somethin
Now I dont wanna get you uptight
But if youre in a corner
And you cant find no way out
Dont look around for no help
No, no there wont be any around
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
So you think you got a case
And you think you know the score
No you dont wanna listen
You cant be told no more
But waitll you get out there
You better do it right
cause the streets are lined with things that kill
And theyre hidin in the night
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Feel that you can cut it
You think you got the time
Theyll only give you one chance
Better get it right first time
And the game youre playing
If you lose you gotta pay
If you make just one wrong move
Youll get blown away
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy

Silver Dollar
I shouldve known you couldnt take it
You had to make it with another man
You know thats true baby
And I can play that game if you can
Its been a long time since Ive come here
To give you what you need
My roots are in chicago
But I know where I want to plant my seed
I bet a silver dollar youd love another
And you know that silver dollar, it would make me rich
Girl like you, easy pitch
But I miss you now youre gone
Im coming home girl just to show you
Whats this mans been living for
A tip for you, dont be surprised baby
When I come busting through that door
I bet a silver dollar youd love another
And even though that silver dollar would make me rich
I want to tell you that there is a hitch
I miss you know youre gone
And all I got left is my old guitar

Sonnet: Be Optimistic
Give me some wood and I will make a boat;
Give me more wood and I will build a ship;
Give me the cloth and I will stitch a coat;
Give me the years and I will make friendship.
Give me just mud and I will build a hut;
Give me cement and multi-storeys rise;
Give me my crosses; I'll keep my mouth shut;
Give me more sufferings, I'll keep of vice.
Give me courage to do away with strife;
Give me a job to earn my livelihood;
Give me the chances to succeed in life;
Give me the love I need in my childhood.
Give me something, I'll do accordingly;
Give me a spouse or I will live singly!

For The Conceited Woman...
often your talk
boils down to how attractive you are
or have been
and i just keep on listening
i think i must give you the challenge of shane:
walk down the road
have a hundred dollar bill in your hand
make a man choose: sex with you or the hundred dollar bill.
it's fine with me: i'll give you a hundred more.

People Expect Too Much From Me
aug,11,2010
people expect me to be perfect,
because i'm smart,
people expect me to get good grades,
because of all the hard work i put in,
people expect me to have my own business,
because i can be talented and creative,
people expect me to be a push over,
rather than a girl who speaks her mind,
people expect me to be something i'm not,
but all i can be is only myself,
people expect me to deal with life,
i can only deal with it the best i can,
people expect me to handle more than i can,
but who is it really for or what do i have to prove?
people expect me to be who they want,
but did they ever stop to think of what i wanted?

I'll Make This Mine
Am I to blame for your shame?
Should I hold my tongue because I'm young?
Or will you let me say my piece
Or give my opinion at least
Don't look down at me because of youth
You just refuse to believe a new truth
But I tell you now, success is born from ideas
So how do you expect me to succeed if all you teach is fear?
Fear of myself, fear of being strange and new
Just tell me how am I meant to be me, if all I am is you?
No to this and yes to that, rules that make you just another tool
Do I truly look like a gullible fool?
This is my time to rise and shine
And I shall make this little piece of the world mine!

Having-Less-Is-More
Money isn't 'everything' you know?
'Ooooohhh mon ami,
Big dummy you!
YOUR money may not be 'everything'.
Or not nearly what it use to be.
However...
SOMEWHERE someone is spending it,
Caring less about your limitation.
Or who has good or bad or indifferent credit.
And they have yet to accept greed as a motive,
To live a happy life! '
I am not referring to foreigners,
I am talking about us...
Living today in 'this' country.
'Oh?
I see.
So you've already adopted,
That 'Having-Less-Is-More' attitude?
Good for you.
You make me proud.
But as for me...
Give me a ten dollar bill anytime.
Even a five dollar bill,
Seems less than a dollar these days.'

The American people expect more from Congress. They expect fiscal responsibility and common sense. They expect us to return to the pay-as-you-go budget rules that we had enacted in the past that helped us establish a surplus, however briefly.

Does She Exaggerate Experience?
Does she exaggerate experience?
Let's just say...
She has a gift for flourishing her perspections.
And she dotes upon her imagination,
With embellishment!
Much like other fables told...
We have come to celebrate!
She, like us...is an American.
That's the reputation we have.
What do you expect?
Honesty?
The only ones who are honest,
Are the ones under investigation!
Or ostracized for being too truthful!
Give her a break.
No one with depth is going to deal with her,
Anyway!
And besides,
She's been groomed to be a manipulator!
Expect anything from her.
Tears
Southern accents...
Ducking bullets,
Or a 'rap' star in black face!
She's got 'skillz'!

Do You Love Me
Why do you have to complicate my life
by asking if I love you?
Isn’t it enough for me to hold you in my arms
and spend my nights with you?
Please don’t push me for an answer,
I just enjoy being with you.
I could say yes and don’t mean it,
but that wouldn’t be honest with you.
What makes you ask that question,
when I never ask it of you?
I know you tell me you love me everyday
and it’s so obvious I’m happy with you.
I would like to say yes to your question,
but to be perfectly honest with you…
I’m frightened to make the commitment,
but if I was in love, it would be with you.
Love binds hearts, minds, and souls together,
so once I tell you that I love you
I will give you my everything forever,
even my very being for you.
So it’s not just a simple yes or no
that I would give to you.
It would be my life, body, and soul
that I would entrust to you.
So would you be willing to give such a love
if I put the same question to you?
Just think about it and be as honest with me,
as I have tried to be with you.

Me Trying To Fail Always
I am the soul
Who never win a goal.
Talking to me is my plan
No other go, that's what I can
The word to me by others is' try '
Which will make my mind 'dry? '
When I am unable to make my day right
For successful failure, I thank God at night
When I go for perfection
Automatically, I will met rejection
So what? There is a conjunction
Between failure and success, that's improvisation.
I succeed nothing
But will learn something
what's 'Success' - Smile over air
'Failure' - Real smile under water.
When I get chance to drown
I can learn swimming
Like that, when I fail
I have a reason to restart
So let me expect failing
But never think of mind nailing
Let me burn myself in failure
But rise like phoenix ever longer
Be a crocodile - powerful in water
Where others powered in land

No Return
Im at the point of no return
Im watching the candle burn
Both ends
Theres a lesson we
Both can learn - this time
So if you wanna make my day
Theres something
Youve gotta say
Now please dont laugh
And turn away - this time
I dont wanna make a fuss
But this is the time for us
And I aint gonna miss the buss
This time
No return
So therell be no turning back
Once I know that
Youll be by my side
No return
Maybe youll give me all the love
That you always felt
You had to hide
No return
Ive come a thousand miles
Across the ocean
But that aint half
As far as my emotion
Now Ive reached
The point of no return
While on my way down the avenue
I had to stop for a drink or two
Or three
Now not that I was stalling you
For time
Its just I wanted to feel my best
And I almost passed the test
I need your lovin to do the rest
This time
No return - so please dont ever do
What youve done
So many times before
No return
Because Ive made up my mind
That this time Ill make it
Thru your door
No return - I rode above the clouds
So far below me
But didnt get as high as
When you hold me
Now Ive reached
The point of no return
Im at the point of no return
Im watching the candle burn
Both ends
Theres a lesson we
Both can learn - this time
I dont wanna make a fuss
