We were trained to live by our wits, in any circumstance.

Revolving (Nafaka)
There's a reason for joy
consider the circumstance of life
there's a reason to remember
the circumstance of life
there's a reason to understand
the circumstance of life
revolvong revolving
in the shade of reasonong
the circumstance of life
a bitter taste of captivity
consider the circumstance of life
the breath widens the freedom
consider the circumstance of life
the feet can move the hands can touch
finally
consider the circumstance of life
revolving revolving
in the shade of feelings
the circumstance of life
pulling the trees
down the roads of darkness
killing the pain
in the shade of a cage
revolving revolving revolving

Habits are comforts
To listen to the tunes that
Your ears are trained on,
To look at things that
Your eyes are trained on,
And to tread the way that
Your feet are trained in
Will appear sweet to you.
Habits bring comfort zones.

Crouching Creature
I am a Crouching Creature
bounded by Circumstance
and Choices I've made.
I pound against
the Circumstantial Wall
and I choose to bloody
my own fists against it all
but defiant
I will not relent
and measure this
as my commitment
to fight these chains.
Choosing in life
and family
in the world and my
career
is bounded by my iron Circumstances.
Where does my Circumstance live
and how can I circumvent
its boundaries?
Can I move?
Can I melt into some one's else's
Circumstance?
Will I in choosing
merely replicate
old choices
and old Circumstance?
I must I tell my self:
break away from me
and my choosing
to the extent
these choices make
my old and new
Circumstances endlessly repeating.
.
Yet, I hope somehow
with magical bent
to break that wall.
What do you think?
Will I succeed?

Bitter-Tasting
I'm in between,
bitter tasted;
overcome by my own nature,
but, unrepentant, I still am
by choice and circumstance.
I step upon my own fate
plunge holes in my own ship
live with storms and tumult
I alone create.
I'm in between
and bitter tasting
overcome by my own nature.
But unrepentant I still am
by choice and circumstance.
I've been wrong many times
and humble enough to know,
but alone,
I'm not strong enough
to reverse trend,
turn the bend
and came back again.
But, I
still want
to unlove you.
Twirl me round
one more time,
whatever comes by me
will surprise;
but, it will be mine.
I'm in between,
bitters tasting;
overcome by my own nature
but unrepentant I still am
by choice and circumstance.
My life complete
will state in the Book
of Summation:
Lived by Instinct
Died From Commitment:
The Pallbearers
were
Choice and Circumstance.

When We Live to Learn and Respect
When we live to learn and respect,
All benefits of life to us are given.
And we are able to succeed,
Through any circumstance.
It seems to me...
Over the many years of my own observation,
Those who know love are the most successful.
Whether blessed to have a yacht...
Or sitting in a park tossing peanuts to pigeons.
When we live to learn and respect,
All benefits of life to us are given.
And we are able to succeed,
Through any circumstance.

And Let Me See Your Circumstances
She said
'How will I know that I love him'
and she said 'you'll know at the time.'
'What time will that be
and why does Time have to be
the decider of my love needs? '
'When your body is ready
and the time is right-
and the person is right-
you will know
and you will be ready for love.'
'So' she said 'love is circumstance? '
'In some ways.'
'But if circumstance is what is required
what about me? she said.
My dear.I said, 'Romeo and Juliet fell in love in a bad
circumstance and all died in the end.
So circumstances matter.'
But I think love is irresistible
outside rationality.
Love is Ultimate Mystery.' she said.
'Only in the young.' she said
'As we mature
especially near 30
love becomes mostly circumstance
and moved mostly by rationality.'
'So are you saying maturity dictates
that we choose from among partners
available then
and is more decision than
true love's mystery.? '
Ah what I am saying
is that while young we choose
from mystery
and after the divorce
we are more governed by circumstance.
And choosing in weighing circumstance
is the height of rationality
and the opposite of mystery.'
'Ah' she said 'then in the end
all you are offering me is hard truth
and circumstance? '
'
No, I am saying love
is first wasted on the young
who cannot afford Love's Circumstances
and Love in later years
is given only to Youth's Survivors who
fight their way through
and beyond circumstance.
That is the real definition of maturity.
True Love survives Circumstances
and does not become
its victim.
'Oh, ' she said.
That too
is a hard truth.

As it is the characteristic of great wits to say much in few words, so small wits seem to have the gift of speaking much and saying nothing.

I Am Your Convenience
Have you lost your wits and gone mad! ?
Those are 'my' friends you just insulted.
'I will admit to the going mad business.
However...
That losing of the wits bit,
I need them to hang on to for future excursions.
Besides...
If it was not for my wits,
I would not have been able to convince you...
I have gone mad.
Now would I? '
You are doing this on purpose,
Aren't you.
'Doing what on purpose? '
Trying to drive me crazy!
You want everyone to believe,
I am the one that is really the nut case.
'Hmmm...
Are you?
And you are the one behind the wheel too.
What else do you want me to admit?
I'll do it.
I just want to get home safe.
After you dropp me off,
You can go anywhere you want.
And...
Keep your eyes on the road.
Unless you 'do' want me to drive.'
I should have left you.
'And what would that have proven?
I am more popular with your friends than you are?
And you would not have had an excuse to leave.
Other than the one of you having a headache.
And it was time for us to go.'
You are an embarrassment.
'No!
I am your convenience.'

Erichson
I am flattered with your love and,
I don't know what to say;
So take me straight to your bed and make love to me.
Roll, roll, roll your boat;
For it is freely given in times like this;
And i want to sit under the great tree of love.
I am trained by the river and i am now with you,
For give me a little comfort to what i am;
For life is full of surprises!
And i will live to love you more.
Erichson my love,
Come and roll your boat with me;
For i am trained by this river and,
I will cry to my bitter end when you fail to love me.

Wide World of Intellectual Iliteracy-WWII
Slavery Institutionalized Slavery
You didn’t take me away from aplace
You extricated me from a sacred space Me
You developed and trained mu mind
To blend in with your kind
To put you in the fore front
And leave myself behind
My mind was open to assimilation
And closed to self-realization
Education was the agent of control
Substituting society for my soul
An act of self-suicide for the good of the whole
Was it not the great minds of our times that sanctioned
Self hatred
Made the truth oblique
Made education a conditioning process
To obliterate being unique
Seek a role model, seek a hero
Don’t seek being yourself, you are a zero
If education is the answer
It has a function similar to cancer
Americanization another appellation for education
Mind control, behavioral modification
Violence is a form of militaristic communication
I’m a clone, a mere cheap imitation
If I kill it’s because I’m trained
If I hate it’s because I’m trained
If I steal it’s because I’m trained
I don’t know who I am but because I am trained
I Am A Professional

Couplets on Wit
I
But our Great Turks in wit must reign alone
And ill can bear a Brother on the Throne.
II
Wit is like faith by such warm Fools profest
Who to be saved by one, must damn the rest.
III
Some who grow dull religious strait commence
And gain in morals what they lose in sence.
IV
Wits starve as useless to a Common weal
While Fools have places purely for their Zea.
V
Now wits gain praise by copying other wits
As one Hog lives on what another sh---.
VI
Wou'd you your writings to some Palates fit
Purged all you verses from the sin of wit
For authors now are so conceited grown
They praise no works but what are like their own.

Because of It I Give
I am in this,
Out of love.
With devotion unexplained.
I am in this,
Trained or not.
To undo tied knots.
With a looseness freed.
Without pressure to exhaust,
Or stress and strain my brain.
I am in this,
Because I must.
And trusting what I do,
Is sustained to maintain,
That which I know.
Until my life returns,
To become again part of Earth's crust.
Dusting from a shedding done.
To grow,
Regardless of the circumstance.
With a drive to produce and deliver,
Not to reduce that voice within.
With an encouragement to take chances.
Sometimes screaming to be heard.
And I can not help but let it out.
Whether whispered or shouted!
I am not one to pout and walk about.
I am in this,
Out of love.
And because of it,
I give.
Since it is there...
To share,
And offer!
And that is how it is.
Out of love for it in me to give.

London
We came from the far North
summered in Crimea
deserted the armed forces
had to disappear
made it to the free West
on a chartered flight
so we could see what
we trained to fight
We were in London
"Let's do it - let's break the law!"
We were in London
Tell it like it is
We were in London
Tell it like it is
Looking for hard work
or credit card fraud
What do you expect from us?
We come from abroad
to get ourselves a new job
on a building-site
They work you so hard
but we trained to fight
We were in London
"Let's do it - let's break the law!"
We were in London
Tell it like it is
We were in London
"Let's do it - let's break the law!"
We were in London
Tell it like it is
My father fought in Afghanistan
His widow's pension ain't worth a damn
My mother works and goes home to cry
I want to live before I die
We were in London
"Let's do it - let's break the law!"
We were in London
Tell it like it is
We were in London
Tell it like it is
