Reason guides but a small part of man, and the rest obeys feeling, true or false, and passion, good or bad.

Well, It Worked For Me
First thing I say each night
is
I am my own Lover;
my own best friend.
At first it was words
I did not mean
but over time
I could fill in detail
from little things
that happened each day.
Something positive to celebrate
no matter how small
a smile
a thing small but done
a sincere feeling
given and received.
Busy, I was
saying to my self
each night
building
the person
I want to become.
I added to this
just a small dream list
and acted as though
part of it was true
or coming true
and I found
done each night
my part wish
part recognition
of my small things day
could make part
of my small dreams
also come true.
So over time
I could become
not only Someone
but I could be
the kind of person
I was looking for.

To think more
Discard the old
But retain the gold
It may fetch you good price
This is just golden advice
There is positive thinking and aim
Life is to be lived simple without tall claim
Don't do what you can not do
Only try to be little good but very true
You may come across many good or bad things
But have faith in Him for doing something
It will provide you time and ample opportunity
As human being you have appetite and ability
Love to live as humanly as possible
It may lessen your trouble
You may see the reason through
You may be able to see false and true
You are not suppose to think more
You may get what is intended for
Little thrust on your part may make it easy
It is essential on your part to remain busy

With This Ring
i have believed i would always be free and wild
no promises made or broken
but look at me now i come to you like a child
here with my arms wide open
i follow the song that the voice inside
whisper to my soul
how could i not, its my heart that brought me to paradise
chorus:
i'll be your love, i'll be your friend
i'll be the summer breeze that never ends
for the rest of your days i'll be the road that takes you home
like the sun and the moon and the star that guides you on
i will be true to my heart
i promise you with this ring
Now I can say this is more than just wishful dreams.
Nothing could be more real than
Love
Has the way of bringing you to your knees,
Lifting you up to Heaven.
I see the rest of my life when I look in your eyes,
I love what I see.
Living with you on the sunrise side of paradise.
chorus:
I'll be your love, I'll be your friend.
I'll be the summer breeze that never ends.
For the rest of your days I'll be the road that takes you home.
Just like the sun and the moon and the star that guides you on,
I will be true to my heart,
I promise you with this ring.
Bridge:
May this circle never see an end.
Here and now I willingly place a part of you upon my hand.
I'll be your love, I'll be a friend.
I'll be the summer breeze that never ends.
For the rest of your days I'll be the road that takes you home.
Just like the sun and the moon and the star that guides you on,
I will be true to my heart,
I promise you with this ring.

Feeling Best
(glen sharrock)
It took a long time
But now Im gonna be laughing
A very long time
When all I could feel was sad
A very long time
But now its gonna be worth it
Cause I just found a friend to make me glad
Im feeling food, feeling better
Im feeling best
I feel a cut above the rest
Im gonna put it to the test
Feeling good, feeling better
Feeling best
Feeling good, feeling better
Im feeling best
I hope it doesnt sound like Im blowing my own trumpet
Cause all I wanna do is join up with the band
When you feel good
You gotta come right out and say it
Ive been so long at sea and Ive just seen land
Im feeling food, feeling better
Im feeling best
I feel a cut above the rest
Im gonna put it to the test
Feeling good, feeling better
Feeling best
Feeling good, feeling better
Im feeling best

One Good Reason
(bob dipiero, johnny macrae)
You said you were out with a friend
Well your friend left her lipstick in your car again
That mark on your neck didnt get there from shaving
I got a feeling youve been misbehaving
Chorus:
So give me one good reason why I should stay
Just one good reason not to walk away
Must be open season on cheating man-a-tease
And why do you do me this way
Just give me one good reason to stay
And Ill stay
You tell me your love is true
Well is that what you tell all the other girls too
You cant tell the truth babe
Youre not even trying
I got a feeling youre just alibing
Repeat chorus x4

Man has much power of discourse which for the most part is vain and false; animals have but little, but it is useful and true, and a small truth is better than a great lie.

I Feel Good
What a beautiful morning
Just to wake up beside you
Is something Ive missed for so long
Im so glad that you came back home
Baby let me tell you
How my days slipped away
And how I was afraid of the night
But now Im alright
I feel good
Feeling like a lover should
What else can I say
Wont forget the day
You came back to stay
I feel so good (I feel good, I feel good, I feel good)
Finally we understood
You and me were meant
True lovers from the start
We can never part
Our love is grown stronger
More than any temptation
In this world could possibly be
Theres no doubt cause its plain to see
I feel good
Feeling like a lover should
What else can I say
Wont forget the day
You came back to stay
I feel so good (I feel good, I feel good, I feel good)
Finally we understood
You and me were meant
True lovers from the start
We can never part
I feel good
Feeling like a lover should
What else can I say
Wont forget the day
You came back to stay
I feel so good (I feel good, I feel good, I feel good)
Finally we understood
You and me...

One Good Reason
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
And Ill be there
Like a thief youve stolen
Like rain on a grave
Like a priest whos spoken
But failed to save
Now the air is empty
And the ground the same
Love has gone to be buried
Beside my name
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
And Ill be there
Why couldnt you have told me
About your liars kiss
I cant believe youd leave me
At a time like this
And the wind is howling
And its a dying dream
And my faith is silent
While my doubts scream
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
And Ill be there
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
That I should care

The Inside Of Out
I want to drag you into my dark
to suck at your light
to show you the cave of dreams
the not-light
the orgy of the extremes
to show you that
all you had been told
is false
and that all of life has
been juxtaposed
that truth is false
and false is truth
or worse ignored;
to see you plummet into
the senses
experience the on-onslaught of joy
to feel my downtown
lapping up
life itself
milk and honey
drippings
all around
and deliciously
see you
understand
your eyes
lidded with new understandings of
away from
of joy received
to be outside of who you
were moments ago
the un-control
that true growth demands;
seeing you feast upon my soul
the one time in
your life and mine
when
abandon
melds with
wisdom
within ordered
chaos
sexuality and sex
desire
and surrender
need's passion
power
and grace.
I hear
you sigh
the good cry
surpassing my own
engulfed
by the experience of it all
the feeling of it
with no brain involved
just the being away
and marveling
at it.
The coming
inside
and out.

Do Not Believe
Do not believe
Anything true
This east west
This birth death
This eating putting
This going coming
Do not believe
Anything anything.
Do not believe
There is sky
Do not believe
Birds fly
Animals cry
Do not believe
This defeat victory
This land this country
Here and there
You are not free.
Do not believe
Anything true
And you are not false
In this burning rows
There is no distinction
True false
And it is true
And it is false.

Reason and Passion XV
And the priestess spoke again and said: "Speak to us of Reason and Passion."
And he answered saying:
Your soul is oftentimes a battlefield, upon which your reason and your judgment wage war against passion and your appetite.
Would that I could be the peacemaker in your soul, that I might turn the discord and the rivalry of your elements into oneness and melody.
But how shall I, unless you yourselves be also the peacemakers, nay, the lovers of all your elements?
Your reason and your passion are the rudder and the sails of your seafaring soul.
If either your sails or our rudder be broken, you can but toss and drift, or else be held at a standstill in mid-seas.
For reason, ruling alone, is a force confining; and passion, unattended, is a flame that burns to its own destruction.
Therefore let your soul exalt your reason to the height of passion; that it may sing;
And let it direct your passion with reason, that your passion may live through its own daily resurrection, and like the phoenix rise above its own ashes.
I would have you consider your judgment and your appetite even as you would two loved guests in your house.
Surely you would not honour one guest above the other; for he who is more mindful of one loses the love and the faith of both.
Among the hills, when you sit in the cool shade of the white poplars, sharing the peace and serenity of distant fields and meadows - then let your heart say in silence, "God rests in reason."
And when the storm comes, and the mighty wind shakes the forest, and thunder and lightning proclaim the majesty of the sky, - then let your heart say in awe, "God moves in passion."
And since you are a breath In God's sphere, and a leaf in God's forest, you too should rest in reason and move in passion.

Starlight Night
We lay hand in hand, head to head, eye to eye
The stars staring down, as if they were in envy
The moon radiating light upon us, as if it we were a showcase
The passion which was united, a passion of true love
Passion which wrote upon paper, can never portray my passion for you
True passion is like a song, A never ending list of cords and notes
An innovation of a creative mind, written from the soul and heart
A never ending canvas of joys and memories
True passion can never die, it can never fade away, for it lies deep down
You are my true passion, my true calling, my true love

I Believe In Love
I see faces!
Coverin an empty i
Empty spaces
Where there used to be a soul inside
Nothin and no one ever gets to them
Seems the wind could blow right through them
Believin in gods that never knew them
I believe in love
I believe in love, I do!
I believe Im feelin good
Im feeling love!
(feeling love is feeling good)
I believe in love
Feeling love is feeling good!
Worry!
Climbin up your money tree
Youve got to hide it
Monkey do what the monkey see
Youre on a one-way street and youre speedin
Missin the signs you should be readin
Thats the things youll later be needin
I believe in love
I believe it, nobody sold me
Always knew it, nobody told me
I believe in someone to hold me
I believe in love
I believe in love, I do!
I believe Im feelin good
Im feeling love!
(feeling love is feeling good)
(feeling love is feeling good, I believe in love)
(feeling love is feeling good)
I believe in love
(feeling love is feeling good, I believe in love)
Feeling love is feeling good!
(I believe in love)
Feeling love is feeling good!
(I believe in love)
Oh, never be lonely!
Sleepin in an empty bed
Shouldnt feel it, just a place to rest my head
But I dont want to find myself one day
Wakin up and lookin at monday
With some whats-her-name left from sunday
I believe in love
I believe it, nobody sold me
Always knew it, nobody told me
I believe in someone to hold me
I believe in love
I believe in love, I do!
I believe Im feelin good
Everybody should!
I believe Im feelin good
Believe in it
Believe in, love!

Listen Mister
Written by: myles goodwyn
Listen mister I can not see
Any reason for lyin
I can see inside your head
To the back of your mind, yeah
Get it together
Get it together before you lose
Get it together
Get it together before you lose
Here I am on my knees
And not afraid of dieing
Suddenly it occurs to me
There was really no sense in trying
Yes I know it seems strange to you
But its our way of living
I cant see for the life of me
Why youre so afraid to reason
Listen mister I can not see
Any reason for lyin
Things just arent like they use to be
Nd theres no sense in tryin
Get it together
Get it together before you lose
Get it together
Get it together before you lose
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see

I Just Like The Feeling
(graham russell)
I just like the feeling
You give me when the time is right
I just like the feeling
When you tell me youll be here tonight
Let me believe that this moment is good for you too
When you leave its not really all through
Does it get to you
I just like the feeling
Of pretending that some day youll stay
I just like the feeling
That your love is not too far away
Tell me again
That youll stay for as long as you can
When Im really not part of the plan
(chorus)
I just like the feeling
I just like the feeling
I just like the feeling
Closest to love
I just like the feeling
When youre next to me without a sound
I just like the feeling
When you tell me that youre all unwound
One night Im yours and tonight
You can have nothing less
Tomorrow I long for the rest
Tell me a lie
If it helps me get through one more day
You know Ill be here anyway
(chorus)
One night Im yours and tonight
You can have nothing less
Tomorrow I will long for the rest
Tell me a lie
If it helps me get through one more day
You know Ill be here anyway

Passion Of Life
To achieve something great in the world you need Passion
To fulfill vision, a great leader’s courage comes from Passion
Whatever it may be, you must find your Passion
If passion drives you, let reason hold the reins
Follow your passion and success will follow you!
Never underestimate the power of passion
Without passion religion is spiritless
Without Passion history is meaningless
Without Passion art is useless
Follow your passion and success will follow you!
When you take up a mission with passion
There are no dreams too large
No innovation unimaginable
No frontiers beyond reach
Follow your passion and success will follow you!
Our passions are the winds that propel our vessel
Our reason is the pilot that steers her
Without winds the vessel would not move
Without a pilot she would be lost
Follow your passion and success will follow you!
There is no end and there is no beginning
There is only the passion of life
Passion is universal humanity
Passion is the genesis of genius
Follow your passion and success will follow you!

El Coyote
They call him a bandit
And you know the notches
That he ought to wear on his gun
He sees you through eyes
Hes partially blinded
>from staring to long at the sun
But hes true to his school
And hes nobodys fool
And hes lucky to still be alive
The wolf pack will die
When its scattered by man
Lonesome coyotes survive.
He burried his feelings
And life was a mountain
That he was determined to climb
Then he caught the scent
Of a sister in spirit
Who taught him to love her in time
Somehow or other
She gathered together
The cubs that he sired on the way
And they run by his side
Through the chill hungry night
And they sleep to his sweet serenade
Theres a part of his heart up in heaven
And a part that will always be wild
And all he can leave them is love and a reason
To run for the rest of their lifves
Lonesome coyotes survive.
Theres a part of his heart up in heaven
And a part that will always be wild
And all he can leave them is love and a reason
To run for the rest of their lifves
Lonesome coyotes survive.
