Favorite Girl
Funny how things don’t seem to ever change
Now that I see you I’m transformed I am not the same
I know all the parts of you cause you’re my favorite girl
Because of everything you do you’re my favorite girl
Good things come and good things go
we only have today Tomorrow who knows
You’re my favorite you’re my favorite girl
I've tried so hard to move forward
But I keep on moving back
I’m stuck in some odd time warp
On an elusive track
Your a sacred pearl cause your my favorite girl
There’ no sanctuary in this world but your my favorite girl
People come and people go
we only have today Tomorrow who knows
You’re my favorite you’re my favorite girl
Its the same old story But damn if it don’t make you cry
Boy meets girl than loses her for no reason why
In my heart, nothing should matter except you’re my favorite girl
The whole universe could shatter you’d still be my favorite girl
People come and people go
We only have to day
Baby baby you stole the show
Baby baby you stole the show
Tomorrow who knows
You’re my favorite you’re my favorite girl

Ol' gents on a bench(in the park after dark)
Ol’ gents on a bench (in the dark in the park)
Two grizzled ol’ gents
On a bench in the park
Talking sagely of baseball
In the late evening dark
“ya think there’s baseball in heaven? ”
Mused Shecky to Levi
Levi furrowed his brow deeply
As he sighed soft reply
With an old man’s wet wheeze
He sonorously said
tis fairly certain we’ll know
Shortly after we’re dead
Let’s make a deal, they solemnly proposed
Whoever goes first will return to reveal
If there’s bleachers to seat and hot dogs to eat
And heavenly bases to steal.
As fate would have it, Shecky passed on that very night
And the next night Levi on their bench sadly sat alone
When out of the night, giving Levi such a fright
Levi heard Shecky’s ghostly voice intone
“Levi, oh Levi! I have good news and bad
Levi, there’s baseball in heaven” Shecky said with delight
And the bad news my ol’ friend I hate to relate
is…you’re the starting pitcher tomorrow night.

My Favorite Girl
My favorite girl, oh, shes my favorite girl, dont you know,
My favorite girl, oh, shes my favorite girl.
You walked into my life, your love was so new,
And nothing will ever change my feelings for you,
Well, you were so far away, now I am close to you, girl,
So let us run away, our heart thats waiting will stay.
My favorite...
Theres so much I like in you I cant go on,
I wanted a girl like you Ive looked so long,
Girl, nothing will make us wrong, I know our love is too strong,
Lets leave the rest behind, our dreams ask what we will find.

Id Say You
If I had to say what love feels like
Id say you
If I had to say what love tastes like
Id say you
If I had to show what love looks like
Thats an easy thing to do
Id pick your favorite colors
And honey Id paint you
If someone asked what heaven is
Id say you
If I describe what pleasure is
Id say you
If I had to show what a dream looks like
Thats an easy thing to do
Id pick your favorite colors
And honey Id paint you
In websters book
Id even add a word or two
Under perfect lover
Id put see you
If I had to show my biggest thrill
Thats an easy thing to do
Id pick your favorite colors
And honey Id paint you
Id say you
Id say you
If I had to show what love looks like
Thats an easy thing to do
Id pick your favorite colors
And honey Id paint you

Be Merciful, My God
(after Judah Ha-Levi)
Be merciful, my God, and I shall prosper.
Let not Your punishment sweep me down.
My life, my love, my existence depends on You.
You know every weakness,
You know even my greatest strength.
You are the one that is my constant companion,
who knows every thought, every word
even before I comprehend them.
Not only on Your companionship do I rely,
I draw my strength, my words and my life from You.

My Favorite Time
My favorite time of morning
Is that time of morning when
I have a cup of warm coffee in my hands
And the sun barely peeks over the land
When the day is yet unwritten
When I am alone in the quiet
With thoughts of you
To keep me company
At my favorite time
My favorite time of the day
Is that time of day when
I hear your voice or see your words
And I know you are engaged in me
As I am engaged in you
As I am replete with thoughts of you
Warm thoughts of you
Across the miles
At my favorite time
My favorite time of the night
Is that time of night when
I close my eyes and dream of you
And my dreams are vivid, sweet and real
In them we are together
In them there is no yesterday or tomorrow
Only a never ending today
With you always
At my favorite time
So my favorite time really
Is that real time
I am privileged to think of you
And to know that no matter what
You are all I could ever want
You are all I will ever need
In a partner, friend and love
I know this now because with you I am always
In my favorite time

The Field of Glory
War shook the land where Levi dwelt,
And fired the dismal wrath he felt,
That such a doom was ever wrought
As his, to toil while others fought;
To toil, to dream -- and still to dream,
With one day barren as another;
To consummate, as it would seem
The dry despair of his old mother.
Far off one afternoon began
The sound of man destroying man;
And Levi. sick with nameless rage,
Condemned again his heritage,
And sighed for scars that might have come,
And would, if once he could have sundered
Those harsh, inhering claims of home
That held him while he cursed and wondered.
Another day, and then there came,
Rough, bloody, ribald, hungry, lame,
But yet themselves, to Levi's door,
Two remnants of the day before.
They laughed at him and what he sought;
They jeered him, and his painful acre;
But Levi knew that they had fought,
And left their manners to their Maker.
That night, for the grim widow's ears,
With hopes that hid themselves in fears,
He told of arms, and featly deeds,
Whereat one leaps the while he reads,
And said he'd be no more a clown,
While others drew the breath of battle.
The mother looked him up and down,
And laughed -- a scant laught with a rattle.
She told him what she found to tell,
And Levi listened, and heard well
Some admonitions of a voice
That left him no cause to rejoice.
He sought a friend, and found the stars,
And prayed aloud that they should aid him;
But they said not a word of wars,
Or of reason why God made him.
And who's of this or that estate
We do not wholly calculate,
When baffling shades that shift and cling
Are not without their glimmering;
When even Levi, tired of faith,
Beloved of none, forgot by many,
Dismissed as an inferior wraith,
Reborn may be as great as any.

Magic
I don't want you to disappear
Baby you keep me up in the air
The way you do
Magic
It's fanastic
I never met anyone who do this awesome trick
My favorite was when you turn newspaper into flowers and give them to me
I feel like I'm flying because of you
I get jealous when another girl help you out on stage
I will come every day just to see you do your
Magic
So keep doing your thing
I love the way you look up there
I love when you make rabbit disappear
Show me what you got
I will lost my mind
If I have to leave there and I can't ever come back
My favorite thing out of whole show was when you make that girl flow in the air
Wow, you just have talent
Keep it up

She's the only woman in the whole wide world (In the whole wide world)
Dedicating this one (Oh, I'm) to my favorite girl

Miserable Dreamer
My favorite dream…
Is the one that I have every night
Is the one that leaves me crying when I wake up
I dream…
Of your clear blue eyes
Of you
My favorite dream is the one that makes me miserable
My favorite dream…
Is one that always turns into a nightmare
Is one that reminds me that you left me
I dream…
Of your laugh
Of you
My favorite dream is one that makes my miserable
My favorite dream…
Is one that makes me relive every second I spent with you (good & bad)
Is one that makes me smile and cry at the same time
I dream…
Of your hugs
Of you
My favorite dream is one that makes me miserable
I don’t care if I’m miserable when I wake up…
At least I get to spend time with you…
If not just only in my dreams…

Laser Show
Oh yeah were going to the laser show
Oh yeah were going to the laser show
Come on baby now dont you know
Were going down to the laser show
They come from bridgeport, westport, darien
Down to the hayden planetarium
Were gonna space out to our favorite tunes
Were going straight to the dark side of the moon
Oh yeah were going to the laser show
Oh yeah were going to the laser show
Come on baby now dont you know
Were going down to the laser show
Were gonna sit back, relax, watch the stars
James and jason, kirk and lars
Were gonna make our way across the galaxy
And then well head back on the l.i.e.

White Chocolate Space Egg
Orange and blue, green and pink
I see you in everything
Dont need money, dont need wine
Ive got better ways to spend my time
Ill see you around
Every hollow has its favorite sound
And my heart is holding on
Purple, yellow, reddish-brown
Once I felt you, I couldnt lay you down
Dont be shy, baby, dont be careful with me
Let it go, let it soak me down
Ill see you around
Every hollow has its favorite sound
Every rock and tree and leaf abound with your face
Dont tell me Ive been wrong
Dont tell me all the magics gone
Ill see you around
Every hollow has its favorite sound
Ill see you around
Every corner has its favorite clown
Ill see you around...
Ill see you
Ill see you

Doing That Scrapyard Thing
By jack bruce and pete brown
When I was young they gave me a mongrel piano,
Spent all my time inventing the cup of tea.
Writing your name in the sea,
Banging my favorite head.
Missing the last bed, waving the cheery herring,
Balancing brass bands on the tip of my toe.
Phoning your home from a tree,
Drinking my favorite loch.
When I was old they gave me a model factory,
I met three salads out on the motorway.
Leaving your name at the door,
Breaking my favorite egg.
Missing the walrus, sharing my last banana,
Balancing zeppelins on the end of my nose.
Calling your name in the zoo,
Blowing my favorite mind.
