The paradox of reality is that no image is as compelling as the one which exists only in the mind's eye.

An atheist is someone who is certain that God does not exist, someone who has compelling evidence against the existence of God. I know of no such compelling evidence. Because God can be relegated to remote times and places and to ultimate causes, we would have to know a great deal more about the universe than we do now to be sure that no such God exists. To be certain of the existence of God and to be certain of the nonexistence of God seem to me to be the confident extremes in a subject so riddled with doubt and uncertainty as to inspire very little confidence indeed.

There exists, if I am not mistaken, an entire world which is the totality of mathematical truths, to which we have access only with our mind, just as a world of physical reality exists, the one like the other independent of ourselves, both of divine creation.

Unicorn 13
who does not wish, openly or secretly,
to meet it, in some quiet place?
even a secret image in the mind's dead index
of those materialists who
deny it a reality, calling it a
‘mythological creature’ – as if
the mind were not superior to flesh and earth?
this, the very reason for
its longevity – who would not,
were it material, have hunted it by now
for a prince’s ransom, its magic horn ground down, hunted to
extinction – so that we would say
‘as dead as unicorn’ and left
the dodo forgotten and unmourned?
and so, to be a myth is logical…
and thus, the unicorn lives, beyond
some banal death at a hunter’s hands;
easy, peaceful in its own preserves,
grazing in the pure air of our minds,
free to remind us that we too are born free.
the secrets of creation
hide in such unthought hills as paradox –
we, yearning for a meeting
in a place we know not where
where in that still and silent place
loud with silent joy,
moving in ways beyond the movement seen,
we meet it when the looking stops
and paradox on paradox,
once met, we do not seek to meet and meet again –
its tender single glance
tells us for ever that it always lived
inside ourselves; we ourselves
that ‘mythological creature’,
more real than our mirrored self,
grazing in the wooded groves of stillness,
the mossy dells of silence; or,
its wild mane wind-tossed,
on the flying highest hills of freedom
or bright-eyed, salt-browed, white
between the spraying waves and curling surf:
knowing ourselves to be, forever to have been:

Does God There Us Await?
perceive the cosmos
is grounded pervaded
by mind intelligence
perceive Quantum Theory
denies the concept
reality the world
is composed of objects
whose existence
is independent
of human consciousness
quantum mechanics
facts established by
precise experiments
decrees key to reality
reality is state of mind
quantum mechanics
decrees basic components
of objects particles
electrons quarks
are not 'self-existent'
quantum physics
decrees 'ultimate reality'
exists but is not
embedded in space time
therefore in what
form reality will we exist?
beyond this life pod
illusion when we shed
body matter restraint
step outside space time
into limitless eternity
does God there us await?

Not Experienced
Deciding to finally be direct...
After years of beating around the bush,
May be a refreshing step for you.
With a mind hesitating,
In an outdated point of view.
But for those who now could care less...
What from them you expect.
Your steps taken,
To see the forest 'and' its trees...
Has left you alone,
In a reality once accepted...
As those observations,
Came then too quick.
To take as they were.
Inspect and leave.
Since for many what you perceive,
Is a reality lived,
And gone as it was believed.
What 'was' no longer exists.
Today changes have become,
Complexed.
And in these times that continue on...
You may find what's next for you too perplexed,
For someone like you...
Who's not experienced in being direct.
You will find that reality you have has gone.

Success And Image And The Face Of It
Those who say,
Looks aren't everything!
Aren't the ones who are judged,
Based solely upon them.
And besides...
This can be deducted,
From what many prize.
Thick lips, nappy hair and brown eyes...
Are not considered standards,
By those who analyze.
Not for a beauty,
Considered to be immortalized.
No matter who is competent...
In a package that is presented!
If it doesn't suit the taste,
For those who select an image to digest.
As an appearance,
That suggests success...
And not a waste to regret.
It will be the 'image' one picks,
Over a competence that 'may' exist.
'But hasn't it been image and not substance,
That has increased in an invited decadence? '
Well...
Yes.
'But who in reality today believes? '
Remember this...
Image speaks volumes.
And easier to hype.
On the other hand...
Reality is something placed,
On an equality wish list...
Not too soon to happen,
For the sake of changing...
Success and image and the face of it!

The Paradox Of Poetry
The Paradox of Poetry
Is that every poem contains its own questions-
And that each question it asks
Is answered in another question
Raised from somewhere else-
The paradox of Poetry
Is that its meanings
Cannot be contained by themselves-
And so each paradox too
Bears within it its own ambiguity-
I call this a poem about Poetry
But in Paradox
It is a statement of Love
Which abstract as it is
Lacks poetic feeling
A non- poetic poem
Aspiring to be poetry too-

So to me it's very similar in terms of trying to distill within the image, those elements that are gonna form, hopefully, a compelling visual statement.

Give Me Image
Enough!
Enough of this...
Self righteous ambiguity!
Fed by those seeking consciousness.
Give me image.
I have yet to have enough,
Of this 'truth-as-I-see-it-life-I-live'.'.
Give me image.
How else can it be expected,
I keep my pretensions alive and thriving?
Do not rid from me my freedom,
To exist living for images I see fit to project.
I can not bare the acceptance of the reality...
Thrown in my face I am suppose to respect!
Give me image!
Do not strip me of my need,
To seek quality delusions to please, eat and feed.
Give me image.
So that I may feel free,
To live in the midst of unending fantasies.
And aspects of threatening truth...
Disturbs my mentality!
As I witness it pursue the awakening of masses.
Pass me my rose colored glasses, please!
Enough!
Enough of this...
Self righteous ambiguity!
Give me image.
I have yet to have enough,
Of this 'truth-as-I-see-it-life-I-live'.'.
Give me image.
Let those images forever in my mind,
Find within me reason to exist!
Give me image.
And enough...
Enough of this,
Self righteous ambiguity.
Fed by those seeking consciousness.

Sleep
I can't describe the feeling when
I'm in my bed asleep and then
I wake up with a vision blurred
And all my efforts are detered
To reconstruct this image lost
There're certain things my mind must do
and even though they're very few
The image glistens like a gem
Repairing is not one of them
So I'm awake though in my mind
The image thats so unrefined
is calling to me from the deep
and tempting me to fall asleep

It's The Truth Within All Of Us That Grows
'Poppa...
What's reality? '
Come here, sweet baby!
'Oooowww!
That hurt.
Why did you pinch me, poppa?
Why? '
Did you feel it, honey?
'Yes!
And it hurt too.'
That's reality.
Something you know exists!
Something you can feel.
And if it affects you...
In a way that gets your attention,
With the agreement of others...
Without debate,
You are close to it!
'But still, poppa!
WHAT is reality? '
See this look poppa has?
'Yeah!
It's scaring me.'
You feel anything?
'You don't want me to ask you again, right? '
And I didn't touch you, did I?
That's part of reality as well.
You will learn the difference...
Trust me.
You will learn!
It's the truth within all of us that grows.

Happy Thoughts
Going to thoughts that reside in happiness
Collects for you a compulsion to act divinely;
And so a loop emerges for the betterment of the soul,
The soul has learned the religion of truth.
For truth shall demand a thought, compelling
And mysterious to own, just like a philosophy
Or reality of the pen, the paper or the mind;
Seek this thought by visiting someplace faraway.

In This Moment
Light is dim
Although in this moment
Light is not a welcome entity-
My mind wants to hide itself
Within the darkness of
This very early summer morning-
In this moment, I foresee no serenity and
I hear voices screaming while
In the fortress of this room
I know I am the only one present.
If only my bed, here where I lay, were a ship, I would journey years backward
To the place I lived in at all times many decades ago-
Now I know that land was non existent, even though
At the time it was my only reality.
In this moment, my only reality is within this room
Where the light is dim and
Outside this window, where the shades are pulled halfway down,
A world surrounds me-a world I cannot call my home.
Here within the place of my thoughts,
There exists a sea cobalt blue in its hue
A sea of tranquility, although it seems as if
All tranquility has just been shattered-
Even though the voices I hear screaming are terrifying and unreal-
The voice of reality is dimmer.
Threatening voices and this bed in which I lie is a boat
Now in the midst of a storm at sea, and although
I can foresee no destiny-here where I lie resting,
All is familiar to me while the real world outside is foreign, and
A threat to my existence.
So here in this moment, I close my eyes to all that I fear and I know that momentarily
I shall drift off to sleep and dream of the past-
Where I lived inside my own world of bliss and harmony-
Here In this very moment where the light of reality is dim,
My eyes are closed and I am sailing upon my magical ship,
Back to the time where fantasy brought me only peace of mind
Unaware of the day I would awaken alive in a planet they call "Earth"
Where my imaginary ship would overturn and I would find myself
Drowning in a sea of madness where there exists no recourse to fear,
In this moment where light has never been dimmer…

Our society is not merely contending with formidable propagandists posing as "neutral" Big Media news sources; worse yet, those ultra powerful propagandists utilize every tool possible to destroy any form of compelling ideological opposition. We are truly involved in a vicious cultural war, a last stand against those who wish to eliminate all Judeo-Christian norms. It is a paradoxical battle spearheaded by two factions of antithetical zealots; on the one hand, there are those determined to impose purely relativist values, in service of the neo-gods of Atheism, consumerism, narcissism, hedonism, corporatism, materialism, and the most vacuous Cult of Celebrity; and on the other hand, there are those who seek to reshape our society under the purely absolutist, alien, values of Sharia Law. The net result: paradox upon paradox. After all, who would imagine that a day would arrive where both women and gays champion the unfettered immigration of Islamists dedicated toward the dissemination of Sharia Law that commands the subjugation of those very same women and the complete eradication of the Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender (LGBT)?

You Will Get What's Coming
What makes you think,
You can play me cheap.
Like a bootlegged DVD,
And get away with it?
Look around you
What part of Earth living the experience,
Is suspended from it
And still exists?
And as part of it
From where I observe with contributions,
I attempt to make to express a thankfulness
I am grounded to grow aware,
Of a 'reality' that escapades are mind made.
You and I may have grown,
With similar capabilities.
But being conscious of doing anything to me
Seems to have affected your beliefs,
You can do to me and go unscathed.
There is not one inhabitant on or 'of' this Earth,
That does a misdeed to another
That will not 'one day' become victimized,
By what has been done!
You may have had your fun
Believing what you did to have done,
To lie and deceive like many 'choose' to perceive
They also can do,
And not be repaid for those efforts.
There is no hiding away to convince others,
You have no clue why someone else does
What they do to you,
And 'you' are innocently treated
As a culprit who has initiated an action,
That has been mistakened.
What makes you think,
You can play me cheap.
Like a bootlegged DVD,
And get away with it?
Look around you
What part of Earth living the experience,
Is suspended from it
And still exists?
And as part of it
From where I observe with contributions,
I attempt to make to express a thankfulness
I am grounded to grow aware,
Of a 'reality' that escapades are mind made.
And folks like you who declare not to know,
Why others do to you what they do
Will eventually expose yourselves.
Physically, mentally
However Mother Nature chooses to do it to you.
You will get what's coming.
And at a price you can afford.

Hope you dont believe a word
Of all the things I know youve heard about me
Really just a pack of ies
You see the truth before your eyes around me
Hard to keep it straight
The real from the ruse
Probably way too late
What can I do, but its
Not what you think
Not what you hear
Not what you see
Its just the image
Its all on a string
All fantasy
Not really me
Its just the image
Would it be too much to ask
That you could just gvie me the chance to prove it
Or would it only be a waste of time
To try to make you change your mind and use it
What Ive been looking for
Isnt what I thought
Not behind the golden door
Youre all Ive got, and its
Not what you think
Not what you hear
Not what you see
Its just the image
Its all on a string
All fantasy
Not really me
Its just the image
What Ive been looking for
Isnt what I thought
Not behind the golden door
Youre all Ive got, and its
Not what you think
Not what you hear
Not what you see
Just the image
Its all on a string
All fantasy
Not really me
Its just the image
Not what you think
Not what you hear
Not what you see
Its just the image
Its all on a string
All fantasy
Not really me
Its just the image
