Rossi was the first to describe another system working with valves in parallel; it has the advantage that it can easily be extended to coincidences between more than two events, and is therefore predominantly used today.

It is better, however, for his own reputation that the story-teller should risk a few actions for libel on account of these unfortunate coincidences than that he should adopt the melancholy device of using blanks or asterisks.

Coincidences
coincidences are the initiating
moments of seduction
and somehow nature smiles at it
the tryst may follow next
again as a matter of coincidence
this happens when people try to
say that love
in unexpected niches
also bloom.

At Last
At Last
My Love Has Come Along
With A Suitcase Of Coincidences
And The Sky Was Blue
And My Heart Wrapped Up
In Fairytales
And I Could Feel
The Thoughts Of The One
To Call My One
At Last
My Love Has Come Along
With An Envelope
Denying My Name
Left Me
In Tears
Something To Touch
And Drink
He Said
- Was He? -
He'd Love To Be A Tear
Living On My Cheek
Well There You Are My Love
Have
A Short Stay
On My Skin

Life is Dreaming
Life is a bed of dreams
Of the variety we admire
Day after day and hour after hour.
The numbers are advised,
While pages roll on,
Hurrying as cold feet
Over the shallow water,
Staying brightly wed
With ashes and embers
To roast the skin in deceit.
I am awake in the life we lead
Designing the wide river
Of our dreams that coincide,
These coincidences are perfectly blamed.

Synchronicity
My razorblade mobius strip circles
Around and around, rotating forward
Until it becomes the backwards babel
That cuts meaning into pieces—obscured.
The corresponding coincidences
Cause me to question probability.
How many improbable instances
Have come to define what is real to me?
What is truth when it chops itself to bits—
Slip, splitting open, pieces pried apart?
Does objective fact defy sense and wit
To rely more succinctly on the heart?
It's serendipitous forces, I'm sure
That decide our instinctual nature.

More Than Just Coincidences
A tragedy happens.
And reactionaries are quick,
To respond.
The giving done with empathy,
Seems sudden as if a 'light' has been turned on.
And when times are less urgent,
To express our humanity?
A resistence to show a caring with concern,
Is more than expressed by an indifferentness...
We've been taught to satisfy,
With lessons instilled in us...
We obey and learn.
Proving homelessness and hunger,
With racist biases!
Are more than just coincidences,
Enforced to inflict.
By a selfishness persisted.
To advantage and benefit!
Until we become emotionally involved,
With assisted images.
And pictures to cause us to sob!
'I had to see it to believe this for myself!
How can I get more involved?
To end and solve so much pain that remains.'

Comprehending Your Success
Can you accept and believe it...
The air allows a breathing to be achieved?
I am glad you do agree.
Because if you didn't,
I would suspect your thoughts...
As being an experimental accident.
And not an intention given!
And those wishes to fulfill dreams you have,
Are coincidences of good timing.
But you expect bad luck to receive.
And your acknowledgement of it,
Is on call in your mind.
Confirmed in a constant rewinding.
The kind that could be left behind.
To attract an absence.
But losing it is a fear you can not bear.
Although each breath you take...
You think nothing to rid of.
To inhale is a thing done you do.
To exhale is what one tosses away...
To insignificantly float.
To fade from a once over bloated gloatness.
But since you accept and believe,
The air allows a breathing to be achieved...
A possibility of comprehending your success,
Is something you should not waste time to connect!
To flaunt something you did...
In an awareness of it!

I Was In A Place
I was in a place
Of stress, depression and lonliness
this place disliked me, i wasn't meant to be there
no sun, smiles, friendships, just banter and insults
i was in a place
where preferred females were scarce
and my thoughts erupted with anger
i finally started to realise, i need re enforcements
i was in a place
that was full of coincidences
that was full of my nightmares and negative thoughts
i can't get out of here, but i must not stop, i can do this
i'm in a place
that i understand
that i don't feel pain
that i can smile
that i can breathe
that i have friends that like me for my uniqueness
that i realise she will pass and i will possibly never see her again
that i don't need what i want
that i'm free of my obsessions and depression
but they're still present, i can feel them, right there, in front of me, present.
