From the top to the bottom,
There were those who chose to stop...
Actions they believe were made,
By those who went against the grade.
No matter if that grade,
Had been all about 'shade'.

There were those who were just rotten.
With nothing on their minds,

Living Large In Poverty
All things being equal I'd rather be rich,
However, thing don't always work out,
So I'm resigned to spend my time in poverty,
Working in the dirt and grime.
Why, or why me Lord, I may ask,
Gently proding the almighty for just one task,
I wondered if it would be possible,
Just bless me temporarily the ability to pay my bills,

What I didn't realize then,

Salt Is.... Just Salty
There's so much in this world I cannot explain
The greatest scholars try in vain
Not because the knowledge is so loft
Not because we're growing soft
Nor because it's abstract
But in fact
Quite the opposite
Because some words there's just not a definition that can fit
The problem doesn't come from the objects
It's the simplicity that does perplex
Even the wisest of us all
Our logic does fall
Because it is so far below
How do we define the? What about slow
There's salt, and memory, and even know
What do we know if we don't know such words
People complain of jargon, taxonomic names for birds
But they can't even define what's simple
With that problem, man we got our hands full
We just cop out
Said that salt is salty, the is the, we live without
A real definition, but I think it's those words that are most profound
Belief, God Truth the list goes on, but this is where true wisdom is found
There's the trivial we can seek define
Or there's the words that matter most which will define
Us, it's those words I think that we should not just verbalize
But instead simply realize
That the definition is known by experience
It's indescribable because they're just that amazing
Our inexperience
Of what's unimportant is as tragic as not knowing
Our own Father, and the pursuit of other things to define us
Is as trivial as looking for a definition of truth.

Time is Irreverent.
Time, what is time in this vast universe?
Endless learning from problem to problem to those who can transverse.
It is not easy, and many fall out of the race,
We have to be strong and able to keep the pace.
What is before us? Nobody knows!
We just have to go on from one day to the next facing our woes.
We all have some kind of a problem
If we didn't, we couldn't be here on this earthly system.
There must be a reason somewhere,
No matter how rudely life is teaching us, we have to persevere.
Open our mind to understand the happenings
Then our life will be mostly calm and filled be blessings.
Believe that everything will work out well
Face your present problems like a hard shell.
Learn from it, then do not dwell on it anymore
You will see it disappears, giving you some rest to be ready,

Trust
Trust, a delicate matter of me and you
A relationship that is so fresh, brand new
That we barely know the others birthday
But you said it didn't matter what others say
So I trust you to a point, I think, but not completely
I still need that little bit of freedom, space to flee
And right there is the problem that we now face
Because neither of us seem to be able to keep this pace
It's just that you go so fast and I can't help but feel fear
That once this phase is over, this won't last a year
I feel pathetic that I wish for a way out of this box
And I know Im paranoid when I feel like a hunted fox
Don't tell me that this is enough for you because I know
That even though I am scared your impatience shows
It's not that I'm new to this because that isn't true
It's just that before it wasn't caring but this is you
I can't help but feel that I am holding you back
Maybe that it's my fault, that there is something I lack
Yes there is a problem with confidence but maybe more
I fear you because you are an opportunity, an open door
Can I let my disturbing past be buried in butterfly kisses?
