Judges pretty much act independently once they get on the bench so I'm not really sure why Harper's concerned that the court is currently being stacked with a lot of Liberal appointments.

Regent's Court

Regent's court
Is the court were the police brings the criminals to be sentenced
Every singe day during the week
Some criminals caused serious offences in the city
That they need to be punished by the Regent's court
Also some of the Judges will be hard on the criminals
Because they need to pay for what they done to their victims
And the crown procecutor also works with the judges at Regent's court
But the criminals have their lawyers at the court that defends the Criminals because the criminals are their clients
When the day comes for the judges at the Regent's Court to deliver The sentence for each criminal every single day they will be there At The Regent's Court every single day giving the sentence to the criminals depending on what crime they commited like assault, Domestic violence, child abuse,
Drug trafficking, manslaughter, and murder
For first degree murder is 25 years and for the second degree murder is less

Diversity on the bench is critical. As practitioners, you need judges who 'get it!' We need judges who understand what discrimination feels like. We need judges who understand what inequality feels like. We need judges who understand the subtleties of unfair treatment and who are willing to call it out when they see it!

Injection Sites 6 May

It’s obvious we’re going around the bend with injection sites,
Special-interest groups organized and claiming it’s all civil rights,
They claim its harm reduction for those addicted to drugs,
It seems as though they want us to accept these drug addicted thugs?

These sites should be built on a street where the High Court judges live,
Then the quiet suburban area would become much more active,
And the abortion clinics too which were okayed by these judges,
Killing unborn babies but no one is supposed to hold grudges.

There was once a time when ordinary Canadians felt proud,
But now the appointed High Court wants to put us under a cloud,
With drug addicts and pregnant ladies doing their deadly stuff,
Could High Court judges be elected and have we had enough?

The Hogarth Experiment Part 3

Police Constable Broadworth
was sent from the station
to go to see if he could locate Joe Harper
after a frantic phone call from his surgery.
It would seem as if he had missed
several of his appointments,
which was not like Joe at all.
He cycled down the same lane
where Joe Harper’s car was parked.
He could hear his car still running.
The scene that greeted him
was not he had expected.
The car was in the lane,
but Joe Harper was no where about.
Broadworth shouted out his name,
but got no reply.
Broadworth dismounted from his bike.
He felt it strange that Jo Harper
would have left his car running.
Broadworth searched the area
after turning off the engine of the car.
Joe Harper was nowhere to be found.
It was as if he had vanished into thin air.
He put his bike in the back of the car,
then drove it to the nearest farm
and telephoned the station
to inform them what he had found.

Even though the war was over
the battery near the town
was still occupied by three men.
It was about a half a mile from the hamlet.
The three privates there
were brewing themselves a cup of tea.
A humming sound unlike anything
they had ever heard grew louder.
They stood up and grabbed their rifles.
They gazed around,
but nothing could they see.
Suddenly shadows passed over them.
Each felt a chill run down their spine.
They loaded theirs rifles and fired
as the shadows came overhead again.
They reloaded and fired a second volley.
The humming sound got louder
as if it was amplified a thousand times.
After they fired each volley
one of the soldiers fell.
There seemed no defence
from these shadows from the sky.

To be continued…

A Place To Sit

Smoochers and snoggers, and resting joggers
all seem to stop at this concrete bench.
Ramblers and walkers, and street hawkers
all seem to stop at this concrete bench.

Mini’s and Roller’s, and lady strollers
all seem to stop at this concrete bench.
Old folk and young folk, and dogs with no folk
all seem to stop at this concrete bench.

Market traders and cavers, and money savers
all seem to stop at this concrete bench.
Children that play who meet everyday
all seem to stop at this concrete bench.

Students and teachers, and lay preachers
all seem to stop at this concrete bench.
Loose women and boys the ‘for sale’ toys
all seem to stop at this concrete bench.

Addicts and dealers, and police squealers
all seem to stop at this concrete bench.
Dogs out for a pee who can’t find a tree
all seem to stop at this concrete bench.

Drunks in the night who like to fight
all seem to stop at this concrete bench.
Spray painters and doodlers, and bench abusers
all seem to stop at this concrete bench.

Vandals and hooligans, and booted ruffians
all seem to stop at this concrete bench.
Demolishers and breakers, and obliterators
never stopped until they destroyed this concrete bench.

Don't Bother To Think July 5th,2012

Don't bother to think because we should really be ashamed,
No binding referendums and youthful offenders can't be named,
With no death penalty or death with dignity and we don't have to vote,
But we do have pompous left-wing media moguls who gloat.

No judicial reviews, plebiscites or set-date elections,
No political recall so we can't make late obvious corrections,
No elected senators or elected Supreme Court judges,
Illegal foreign refugees claim Charter rights and may have grudges.

But we do have an unknown number of unborn baby abortions,
Connecting this to the holocaust is to invite distortions,
Allowed by High Court judges, picked from a very secret list,
They must be aristocrats because you and I can't enlist.

Cursed By Trudeau's Charter Of Rights

Sleep-walking nation with soft-on-crime judges sitting on the bench,
Some are educated even bilingual in English and French,
But too many are politically correct to a fault,
The few that are real good never get a media exult.

Are prisoners given easy early release because of small jails?
Is this significant or should we is bother with details?
Why does the media believe that everything is fine?
It’s all politically correct and nothing in decline.

Unfortunately we are cursed they with Trudeau’s Charter of Rights,
Which politicians and the Supreme Court cannot rewrite.
At least, that’s what they say, which doesn’t seem correct
Is there such a thing as a dictator that we could elect?

This Court

This court is
Not final court.
It has got no
Unlimitted power.
This court is
Not empower to
Pass final judgement
And final decree.
The order of
This court is
Not binding.
This court has
No discretionary power
This court lacks
Original jurisdiction.
This court is
Not a real court.

Can We Change Trudeau's Charter

Terrorists like Trudeau’s Charter because it gives them rights,
All the way to our appointed Supreme Court with delights,
And we’re so politically correct we can’t see a problem here,
Appointed establishment all tell us we have nothing to fear.

Why didn’t someone point out back then that his Charter had a flaw?
It allows terrorists and crooks and prisoners to bend every law,
Is it possible that Canadians could maybe rearrange?
Is it possible to change Trudeau’s Charter or is that too strange?

Why are we more concerned with human rights instead of the law?
Soft judges allow too many to walk and that’s a major flaw,
And you don’t complain though of course you are not one of them,
The left wing media would probably complain to the PM.

(Growing Pains) 12. Tennis in Bournemouth

Eyed by pigeons and the tall windows
of elegant cream mansions
she and he enter the court.
Father and daughter, mentor and child,
racquets swinging.

Left outside, I contribute
the only way I know.
From a damp bench, peering through
the barrier of wire,
I draw them.

Years later, I see that I have drawn
the netting round the court
intricately, lovingly,
like a prisoner viewing
the exercise yard.
