When I was teaching at Harvard in the 1970s, I went to Project Incorporated in Cambridge and took photography classes. I didn't even know how to aim the camera in those days.

I fell into playwriting accidentally, took some classes in it, and also took creative writing classes, but I really didn't expect it to be a career because I didn't believe there was a way to make money as a playwright without being lucky and I didn't feel particularly lucky.

There were so many great music and political scenes going on in the late '60s in Cambridge. The ratio of guys to girls at Harvard was four to one, so all of those things were playing in my mind.

Harvard Crimson
Harvard..
crimson with the blood of hundreds of millions of animals
dead in their underground vivisection labs
Harvard crimson, as the US university with the largest endowment,
invested in war, animal and fish flesh, factory farms, killer drugs
Harvard crimson, with the dollars it has stolen from the US poor.
Harvard which lost prion discoverer Stanley Prusiner, who was tired
of the university's animal flesh investments putting his research on
the back burner.
Harvard economists, destabilizers of the Russian economy
Harvard, driving the poor out of their homes, paying $4000 in the 70's
for homes in surrounding neighborhoods
Harvard, way behind Oberlin in ending exclusion of women and African
Americans
***************** ****************
Boston is the vivisection capital of the US, and Harvard receives more
vivisection dollars than any other university.

I did take my camera along, as I felt there wouldn't be enough time to draw the things I wanted to do. I did some drawing and did a lot of photography but I was not part of Stryker's outfit at all.
So when I became interested in photography and further being inspired by the work that I saw of Ansel and others, it was a natural extension to go back to these places that I knew as a kid and explore them with my camera.

As I have practiced it, photography produces pleasure by simplicity. I see something special and show it to the camera. A picture is produced. The moment is held until someone sees it. Then it is theirs.
However, I should perhaps add that during the 20 years I have been back in Cambridge, I have been actively involved in the teaching of undergraduates, as well as of course supervising research students.

Murder Incorporated
Bobbys got a gun that he keeps beneath his pillow (oh yeah)
Out on the streets your chances are zero (oh yeah)
Take a look around you (come on down)
It aint too complicated
Youre messin with murder incorporated
Now you check over your shoulder everywhere that you go (oh yeah)
Walkin down the streets, theres eyes in every shadow (oh yeah)
You better take a look around you (come on down)
That equipment you gots so outdated
You cant compete with murder incorporated
Everywhere you look now theres murder incorporated
So you keep a little secret down deep inside your dresser drawer
From dealing with the heat youre feelin down on the killin floor
No matter where you step you feel youre never out of danger
So complicated you keep complaining some bones hurtin
I hear that you, you got dogged downtown, man it leaves your head cold (oh
Yea)
And everywhere you look life aint got no soul (oh yeah)
That apartment you live in feels like its just a place to hide
When your walkin down the streets you wont need nowhere there to hide
Now the cops reported you as just another homicide
I could tell that you was just frustrated from livin with murder
Incorporated
Incorporated
Everywhere you look now
Murder incorporated
Down on your knees
Murder
Everywhere that you turn its murder
Murder
Everywhere you look theres murder.
Aaaah, mmmmm, yeah, I said aaah, mmmmm, yeah

If The Camera Breaks..
Do you want to take a picture?
Fine go ahead, with a clicky click, click take.
Wait, hang on a second I didn't put on my smiling face.
Now try try and try.
For with my ugliness the camera might just break.
Do you want to take a picture?
Fine go ahead, with a clicky click, click take.
Wait, hang on a second I didn't put on my smiling face.
Now try try and try.
For with my ugliness the camera might just break.
If it does don't expect me pay.
And if you have pour gasoline on yourself, light the fire and jump out 10 story window just to get the images out of your head.
Just don't expect me to feel guilty.
Do you want take a picture?
Fine go ahead, with a clicky click, click take.
Wait, hang on a second I didn't put on my smiling face.
Now try try and try.
For with my ugliness the camera might just break.
Do you want take a picture.
Fine go ahead, with a clicky click, click take.
Wait, hang on a second I didn't put on my smiling face.
Now try try and try.
For with my ugliness the camera might just break.
Don't say I didn't warn you if the camera it breaks.

Im Here, Can You Hear Me, I Made It! (:
Hey there, my name is Sheniqua Lowery. I go to Henry Foss high school, I am currently 18yrs of age, and I was born August,06,1990 in Seattle Washington at Harborview hospital at 6: 00am. I’ve been to several schools in Washington State in my early years. I love school, I try my best at the school work that is given to me.
When I was a little girl I wanted to be a lot of things as a grown up. I thought of being a horse trainer, singer, dancer, writer, author, nurse, game maker. But my dream goal is to be a photographer because it inspires me a lot in what you can find in a photo. Not only is it a picture, it tells a lot about the person or object that’s in the photo.
I want to attend Cornish College of the Arts. I have been interest in the college since I wanted to become a singer. I haven’t been on a tour to see the campus.
I am looking forward to getting good grades and a high GPA so it can be possible for me to attend the four year college in Seattle, WA. My GPA is close to a 4.0. I have been looking into some photography classes in my area in Tacoma, WA.
If I successfully graduate from Cornish with a major in photography, I would like to own my own photography business. I would also want to pursue managing my own photography website so my customers can check their prints online and make orders for which prints they want.
Thank you for reading and taking time out of your busy schedule to read it.
