When did you close the window?
When did you stop...
Finding the World too real to face?
When did you decide,
You would isolate yourself and hide?
When did you close the window?

When did your disgust...
Encrust a frown upon your smile?
It appears it has been there,
For quite a while.
What will it take,
To replace that with hope?
Don't close the door...
To sit alone and mope!

Open up that window.
Unlock that door you have blocked.
Tell yourself to stop this self defeat.
It is easier than you think.
If you trust with faith and believe...
You don't need to wallow and weep.
You don't need to share that,
With others you might see who grieve.
