You may invite the entire 35th Division to your wedding if you want to. I guess it's going to be yours as well as mine. We might as well have the church full while we are at it.

Wedding Day
Today you'll pick up all the pieces
And get on with your life
All I can hope is that you're happy
'Cause today you're someone elses wife
Right now I wish that I could turn back
And beg the hands of time
For the days that I remember (oh baby)
The days when you were mine
And if I never said I love you
It's cause the words got in the way
Now all I do is say I'm sorry
Sorry I missed your wedding day
I'll bet you looked good at the altar
I'll bet he knew the words to say
And the angels smiled when you walked down the aisle
You both knelt down to pray
As he put his ring on your finger
I know there's just one thing left to say
All I can do is say I'm sorry
Sorry I missed your wedding day
So Sorry
(solo)
You won't be walking through the door anymore
You won't be sleeping in this bed anymore
Tho' I swear I see your shadow waltz accross my floor
And I don't know if I can take it
Should we ever meet again
Cause I know that we'll be strangers
When he introduces friends
I tried to make it to the church now baby
A broken heart got in the way
All I can do is tell you I'm sorry
Sorry I missed your wedding day
I really hope you're happy baby
Tho' it's killing me to say
All I can do is say I'm sorry
Sorry I missed you're wedding day
Sorry I missed you're wedding
I'm sorry I missed you're wedding day
I'm sorry I missed you're wedding day
I'm sorry I missed you're wedding day

(I'll Be With You) In Apple Blossom Time
I'll be with you in apple blossom time
I'll be with you to change your name to mine
One day in May I'll come and say
Happy the bride the sunshine's on today
What a wonderful wedding day there will be
What a wonderful day for you and me
Church bells will chime
You will be mine
In apple blossom time
What a wonderful wedding day there will be
One day in May
What a very very wonderful day
For you and me dear
Church bells will chime
You will be mine
In apple, in apple blossom time

My Wedding Day
The Ice Queen, as everyone knows is my mother
a year after I left the Ice Queens dugeon I met
someonewe decided to get married.
I did not want to, but a invitation was to her.
THE ROYAL ICE QUEEN
MOTHER
r.s.v.p. stated will be able
I had been brought up in the
Catholic Church.
I had not been going to church.
So I felt like I did not have the right
to ask the church to bless
my marriage.
I would not experience the joy
my two sisters had.
Holding my fathers arm and walking
to the man I loved.
I would never have the memories of
hearing the words ''Who gives
this woman''?
And to hear my fathers answer,
'' I DO''
He was not there, the minute
I became a new wife.
He'd missed the most important
day in my life.
I know he did not do this by
his choice.
'' IT CAME FROM THE
ROYAL ICE QUEEN MOTHER''
herself.
My two older sisters had
beautiful church wedding.
My twin brother, brought
is then unborn son to his
formal wedding.
They were formal weddings
Gowns and Tucks.
All the silver trays
were pulled out for theirs.
The bar, was free you didn't
have to pay.
I love my sibling.
But why couldn't the
THE ROYAL ICE
QUEEN MOTHER
attend her youngest daughters,
little informal wedding?
But my little informal
wedding in that little
brown stone church
went on
.
It was a very beautiful
wedding.
on that very cold winter
night.
This all happened thirty
five years ago
We go each February
seventeenth.
We stand on the steps
and kiss and hug.
This has had happened for the
last thirty five years.
NO THANKS TO THE
ROYAL ICE QUEEN
MOTHER''
herself.

An Old Fashioned Wedding
Interpolated in 1966 revival]
[FRANK:]
We'll have an old-fashioned wedding
Blessed in the good old-fashioned way
I'll vow to love you forever
You'll vow to love and honor and obey
Somewhere in some little chapel
Someday when orange blossoms bloom
We'll have an old-fashioned wedding
A simple wedding for an old-fashioned bride and groom
[ANNIE:]
I wanna wedding in a big church with bridesmaids and flower girls
A lot of ushers in tailcoats, reporters and photographers
A ceremony by a bishop who will tie the knot and say
"Do you agree to love and honor?" Love and honor, yes, but not obey
I wanna wedding ring surrounded by diamonds in platinum
A big reception at the Waldorf with champagne and caviar
I wanna wedding like the Vanderbilts have, ev'rything big, not small
If I can't have that kind of a wedding I don't wanna get married at all
[Coda:]
[FRANK:]
We'll have an old-fashioned wedding
[ANNIE:]
If it's not a big wedding I don't wanna get married at all

After The Wedding
After a Wedding
After the wedding when the happy couple
stood on the old church steps to have their
picture taken and a throng of people where
jousting to be in the frame too, I walked
around in the church and found in a corner
a white but dusty marble Virgin Mary.
Her eyes were demurely downcast: I said:
“We’re alone you can open your eyes now.”
Was it just my imagination, caused by my
longing to believe, that I saw an eyelid flutter
and a half smile play upon cold, dusty lips?
….Pale as limestone I rejoined the throng.

0009 Rococo time
It’s part of the tourism thing –
you stick your nose, more in duty than in hope,
into the local church;
the flowers at least
may be friendly; the flower arrangers, busy..
you’ve been in churches which
as soon as you gently push the squeaky door,
frown on you, their fingers
to their lips, and point
to ‘Thou Shalt Not’ where you expected Jesus’ open arms;
and to vast cathedrals asking, it seems,
an unformulated question of you
in their overwhelming magnificence
so that you’d like to kick a pew,
scrape a chair, dropp a hymnbook,
to find out in the echo echo echo
how Nanny says you should behave;
but this one’s different:
as you step inside, it’s as if
the fraction of a second before that moment,
some huge song-and-dance spectacular
was in rehearsal, Busby Berkeley in full charge,
then ‘Freeze, kids…! ’ and all you see at first is
the lavish set: like a wedding cake, white as icing, giant size,
with a Technicolor sweet-shop suspended over it; while,
frozen in their extravagant body-language,
four golden figures beside you gesture, inviting you,
‘Come on in, you too are onstage now! ’;
these are no evangelists to tell you what
it’s all about; these are guys who know that you know too;
so of course you’ll want to join in, join the wedding party;
you were part of it before you knew you were…
you’ve read the essays dutifully before you came –
‘ this Rococo church is a typical example of
the desperate overload of frivolous and
meaningless detail that betokens
the last dance of a culture in decline; note
the curlicues like sea-spray, shells and wavelets…’
not so; not so; this is the joy of a Creation
whose every move and moment is all joy;
seaspray, shells and wavelets on that blessed shore
which hears the trumpets sounding on the other side;
which cannot find the time and space enough
to shout its joy in gesture, plaster, paint;
this is a church which people rush to enter
to sing and dance the joy of being themselves;
a church which smiling, happy people leave
and fill the streets with love;
this church like some expensive wedding cake
is celebrating, dancing at its own wedding; and why not;
this joyful church is celebrating
the wedding of earth and heaven
and all, all are invited.

25 Minutes
After some time I've finally made up my mind
She is the girl and I really want to make her mine
I'm searching everywhere to find her again
To tell her I love her
And I'm sorry 'bout the things I've done
I find her standing in front of the church
The only place in town where I didn't search
She looks so happy in her wedding dress
But she's crying while she's saying this
Chorus:
Boy I missed your kisses all the time but this is
Twenty five minutes too late
Though you travelled so far boy I'm sorry you are
Twenty five minutes too late
Against the wind I'm going home again
Wishing be back to the time when we were more than
friends
Still I see her in front of the church
The only place in town where I didn't search
She looks so happy in her wedding dress
But she's cried while she's saying this
Chorus
Out in the streets
Places where hungry hearts have nothing to eat
Inside my head
Still I can hear the words she said
I can still hear what she said

Wedding Day
Written by orbison/melson.
Wonder how long it will take.
For this heart of mine to break
Theres I watch you walk away.
This was to be our wedding day.
I wont hear the choir sing.
While I hold your golden ring.
Might as well throw it away.
With my dreams of wedding day.
Oh,oh,oh,oh.oh,oh,oh,oh.
Oh to hold you in my arms again.
I watched my whole world fade away.
On this our wedding day.
Who was right and who was wrong,
Makes no difference when youre all alone.
As I watch you walk away.
Goodbye darling, goodbye wedding day.

Borrowed Time
(olivia newton-john)
I saw the light but it was too late, too late
I wanted to fight but it was too great, too great to fight it
Guess Im loving on borrowed time
Didnt know that you could not be mine
Im the fool I guess
Im the fool I guess
I started to cry but I was cried out, cried out
Cause you opened my eyes but with the light out
I couldnt see it
Guess Im loving on borrowed time
Didnt know that you could not be mine
Im the fool I guess
Im the fool I guess
I begged you to leave her but it was too late, too late
Cause though you have deceived her
You knew that shed wait
Shed wait forever
Guess Im loving on borrowed time
Didnt know that you could not be mine
Im the fool I guess
Im the fool I guess
Guess Im loving on borrowed time
Didnt know that you could not be mine
Im the fool I guess
Im the fool I guess
Oh baby, Im the fool I guess
Oh now, Im the fool I guess

Silent Night / I Guess There Ain't No Santa Claus
Silent Night
(Instrumental)
I got evenings to spare
that nobody will share
I guess there ain't no Santa Clause
I don't flirt, I don't dance
cause I don't get a chance
I guess there ain't no Santa Clause
Jingle Bells
Wedding Bells
Ring so merely
but Jingle Bells
and Wedding Bells
never ring for me
like the clock on the shelf
I hold hands with myself
I guess there ain't no Santa Claus
I got wine, I got cheer
I got nobody here
I guess there ain't no Santa Claus
well they sure got it right
when they sing Silent Night
I guess there ain't no Santa Claus
lovers walk, holding hands
everywhere I go
ready, set, here I stand
'neath the mistle toe
sugarplums in my head
only me in my bed
I guess there ain't no Santa Claus
my dad and mother
told one another
they saw a future for me
but since I've grown up
I got to own up
It's not like they said it would be
lovers walk, holding hands
everywhere I go
ready, set, here I stand
'neath the mistle toe
sugarplums in my head
only me in my bed
I guess there ain't no Santa Claus
I guess there ain't no Santa Claus
I guess
guess there ain't no Santa Claus

Who Greets Her?
she prays hard in church
since it is her birthday today
and she arrives and opens
the red steel gate of the house
and i see her coming with
a black umbrella as it is raining
and i ask her who remembers her
on her birthday today? who greets her
a happy birthday?
i guess merian, i expect genie,
or momma, or gerry
or any name of the good
neighborhood
and she says, candid and true,
'oh, the ants and flies and
cats and pigs! '
i guess. like me,
she is just in love
with metaphors again.
i imagine the pigs most.
And i will
surely invite the flies who
are at war with the ants.
and the cats
are already here, as usual
licking their paws
and taking
their naps again.

I Wouldn't Want You To Miss It
I want you to come to the wedding.
'Who's wedding? '
Mine.
'Sure.
I would love to.
I couldn't miss it.
When?
When is the date? '
As soon as you let me know.
We could set one.
Right now if you wish.
'Are you asking 'me' for a date? '
Well...
Of course.
How else could there be a wedding?
I wouldn't want you to miss it!

Oh Lord! When? How?
He'll pick a moment he'll take a chance He'll
invite us all to a fatal dance Such a man and
such a mess - It's not an easy guess
I know that look I know that face I'd better get
ready to hunt and trace Bit by bit and on and
on -And then he's gone
OH LORD! WHEN? HOW?
Such a major mess -It's not an easy guess
For a second or two he might appear It takes a
second or less and he'll disappear Such a man
and such a mess -It's not an easy guess

There Must Be No Words Left For You To Say
i guess you must be full,
everything in you, first your mouth
it must be full, since it is not talking,
shut, or filled with the sweets of life,
so you feel there is no use talking
like you are a very loud drum sounding
Tarzan's sound proclaiming the emptiness
of his own forest kingdom
withou a Jane. I guess your eyes are filled
with all the wonderful scenes
of your life, you do not see me anymore.
I guess your body is full of all the happy
moments, i have not seen it move
or dance, i have not seen it take
another chance to touch my body again.
i guess you must be happy now.
you never call my name again.

Saying the unspeakable
Such as President Obama
may not say it; but I
who am nobody, may speak it:
the God of many names and One
does not wish division;
you and I (there are no others?)
do not wish division;
who makes division?
Why do all seek an ‘enemy’?
The dispossessed invent an enemy
on whom to blame their plight;
the rich invent an enemy
to excuse their greed;
those who worship God under one name
make enemy of those who worship God
under another name;
even those who worship God under the same name
make sects in order to invent an enemy;
is it because it is easier
to make an enemy than a friend?
is it easier to fear
than to love?
is it easier to hate
than to love?
is it easier to count to two
than think of three or one?
do we feel more powerful
if we have an enemy?
and now we fire at enemies
invisible beyond the horizon..
are enemies more attractive
to our life than friends?
Tell me, poets, tell me, sages;
tell me, saints; oh tell me God;
tell me, arithmeticians:
when division multiplies
our enemies, why do we
so love division?
The God of many names and One
makes division in Himself
with love and without hate;
you and I (there are no others?)
love each other all the more
in the sameness of our differences;
does human kind
now hate itself so much?
who thinks division, loves division?
makes an enemy of otherness?
forgets that God is One?

For My Wedding
(larry john mcnally)
For my wedding, I will dress in black
And never again will I look back
Ah, my dark angels we must part
For Ive made a sanctuary of my heart
To want what I have
To take what Im given with grace
For this I pray
On my wedding day
For my wedding, I dont want violins
Or sentimental songs about thick and thin
I want a moment of silence and a moment of prayer
For the love well need to make it in the world out there
To want what I have
To take what Im given with grace
For this I pray
On my wedding day
On my wedding day
I dream, and my dreams are all glory and light
Thats what Ive wanted for my life
And if it hasnt always been that way
Well, I can dream and I can pray
On my wedding day
So what makes us any different from all the others
Who have tried and failed before us
Maybe nothing, maybe nothing at all
But I pray were the lucky ones; I pray we never fall
To want what we have
To take what were given with grace
For these things I pray
On my wedding day
On my wedding day
