Certitude is not the test of certainty. We have been cocksure of many things that were not so.

When and how are obscure.
Death is a certainty;
But ‘when’ and ‘how’
Aren’t a certainty.
That is why we made gods

The Connection
There are so many things I've never seen
and yet somehow I know what they mean.
Though familiar to many
and not to me,
I can live my life with certainty
that they exist as do I
and never miss my seeing eye.
For all God's bounteous things appear
independent of the other while they're here.
And when I'm over, when I'm gone.
Their independence still goes on.
Still all the things I did not see
though distant and remote were part of me.

Never tell evil of a man, if you do not know it for certainty, and if you know it for a certainty, then ask yourself, 'Why should I tell it'

Man is half blind.
Hope is not a certainty;
Guess is not a certainty.
So are perception and prediction.
Intuition is an illusion.
Yet they are the only aids
With which man walks, half blind.

Memory Hall
Memory hall has
been added to
the school department.
On the day before
the big test,
it's a great place
to go.
Revive your memory
here to retain
the information
of things learned.
They take you into
this room and
go to the corner
of the memory.
You will recall
all knowledge
that you will need
for the big test.
Now get going,
for time is
runing out.
Memory hall is
a place every student
wants to be,
before the big
test.

If you forsake a certainty and depend on an uncertainty, you will lose both the certainty and the uncertainty.

You must assume
There is no certainty
That Jesus was born on December 25th.
There is no certainty
That the departed soul exists and hears us.
There must be assumptions
Where there are no evidences available.
Assumptions agreed on,
They should not be disputed wantonly.

Whether gods exist or not, there is no way to get absolute certainty about ethics. Without absolute certainty, what do we do? We do the best we can.

Setup To Fail
When you come to test someone,
You believe is unprepared?
AND with a confidence,
You will be the one to pass...
YOUR 'test',
Easily!
To then leave and be on your way?
Be sure your activities,
Have not been scrutinized...
Prior to administering 'your' test.
What appears to be simple...
May keep your brain twisted,
For the rest of your life.
Riddled with doubts you question.
When you come to test someone,
You believe is unprepared?
AND with a confidence,
You will be the one to pass...
YOUR 'test',
Easily?
Remember this...
You just may be the one,
Being setup to fail.

Law[Earthing On Fire]
I dont want knowledge, I want certainty
I dont want knowledge, I want certainty
I dont want knowledge, I want certainty
In the street a man shouts out loud
A wallet drops and money flies into the midday sun
With the sound, with the sound, with the sound of the ground
With the sound, with the sound, with the sound of the ground
With the sound, with the sound, with the sound of the ground
Oh I get a little bit afraid
Sometimes
Earthlings on fire
Earthlings on fire
With the sound, with the sound, with the sound of the ground
With the sound, with the sound, with the sound of the ground
With the sound, with the sound, with the sound of the ground
Sure I get a little bit afraid
Sometimes
Earthlings on fire
Earthlings on fire
Earthlings on fire
Earthlings on fire
I dont want knowledge, I want certainty
I dont want knowledge, I want certainty
In a house a man drops dead
As he hits the floor he sighs
What a morning
With the sound, with the sound, with the sound of the ground
With the sound, with the sound, with the sound of the ground
With the sound, with the sound, with the sound of the ground
Sure I get a little bit afraid
With the sound, with the sound, with the sound of the ground
With the sound, with the sound, with the sound of the ground
With the sound, with the sound, with the sound of the ground
Sure I get a little bit afraid
Sometimes
Earthlings on fire
Earthlings on fire
Earthlings on fire
Earthlings on fire
Oh I get a little bit afraid
Sometimes
Earthlings on fire
Earthlings on fire
Earthlings on fire (I dont want knowledge, I want certainty)
Earthlings on fire (I dont want knowledge, I want certainty)
Sometimes
Earthlings (I dont want knowledge, I want certainty)
I dont want knowledge

Lost to Memory
I just kinda know these things.
And what these things mean.
And sometimes even 'why'
These things appear when they do.
I know you're not about to ask for an explanation?
And you expect an answer.
'What has been said about expectations? '
Is this a pop quiz?
Or a seriously graded test?
If I knew that,
I'd leave you with a sample of my DNA!
And...
I'm not trying to be accused of knowing too much,
Anyway.
I often thought that those who showed they knew too much...
Were often 'expected' to be accountable.
With much given responsibility.
I can do that...
But why announce it?
I just kinda know these things.
And what these things mean.
And sometimes even 'why'
These things appear when they do.
I guess that's the easier way to get things done...
Just do them!
They will soon be lost to memory anyway!

Mileva And Certainty
Mileva loved him more than the Stars,
more than Time itself.
They both were physics majors
and dreamers who
wanted to take Newton
to new ground.
Both wanted Certainty:
he had his Cosmological Constant
and tried to prove that God does
not throw dice-
that the Universe was orderly.
She wanted Certainty, too,
and some say showed him how
and this is reflected in some of the ideas
which made him famous.
He got Quantum Physics
and The Theory of Uncertainty;
both then
had only Probabilities.
He divorced her
promising
his Nobel Prize money
and he spun away
into Relativity and Gravity;
both lost threads in the fabric
of Space and Time.
Both lost Certainty,
as we all now have,
we have now
only
Probabilities
and Relativities.
