In my daily work, I work on very large, complex, distributed systems built out of many Python modules and packages. The focus is very similar to what you find, for example, in Java and, in general, in systems programming languages.

We've broken the code base into logical chunks, called modules, and the foundation staff delegate authority for the modules to people with the most expertise.

Office Work
Work, work, work..
sitting effort,
on a chair
empty screen,
emotive stare
Work, work, work...
slunched shoulders,
side by side
warming ocean,
stolen pride,
Work, work, work...
hey man,
you man,
ant-field flys
pergatory,
promotion,
pitch-fork eyes.
Work, work, work...
college loving,
take me back,
drunk lace orgy,
primrose sack
Work, work, work...
day dream,
day stare,
simple soul.
Drop your complexity
and know,
your,
role.

The Work Resistant Man
The knockers pigeon hole him as the work resistant man
And they say he has never worked and that work not in his future plan
And that he's one of those people who is softened from welfare
Just one of the bone lazy his type are everywhere.
But Mrs Blake the old age pensioner with them would not agree
He built her garden fence for her and his services were free
She could not afford to pay him but he said that is okay
And she will tell you men like him are very rare today.
On old John the octogenarian the years now taking toll
He cannot afford to pay for to mow his grass due to circumstances beyond his control
But the so called work resistant man he works for him for free
And John will tell you that there is no greater man than he.
He works for poor aged people who struggle to get by
And he never asks for money he is that sort of a guy
And though to work for wealthy factory boss not in his future plan
He is not what you would call a work resistant man.

Dominatrix On The Axis
Work it on a brother, if it works, oh well, then work it on another; Do your snooky shakey shake, show it to your mother.
Dominatrix on the axis climbs the tower of praxis. Momma said daddy plays the lone bone. Work it on a sister, if it works out for her, then work it on her brother. Might want to
watch yourself or they'll work it on your mother.
If this sounds somethin like s-e-triple x,
sailing off without redemption on the good ship Oedipus.
Look beyond these shores, where you won't have to deal with petty, prudishness no more.
Beyond the sea, you could give it all away for a handling fee.
L'l sister could work it, little brother too. If it works pretty good,
Might work it on you, then work your moves on another. But, pretty please, don't ply your shake 'n' bake magic on my old world grandmother.

Human beings, viewed as behaving systems, are quite simple. The apparent complexity of our behavior over time is largely a reflection of the complexity of the environment in which we find ourselves.

Love
Love is fleeing
Requires daily work to grasp its fashion
Like black and white rainbows
Impassioned rejection
Uncontrolable intimate addiction
Could saftely individualize
Walls built
Bricks of egotism
Neat impassive layered rows
Mortar made with efficent channeled efficaious pain
Impersonation of a contending composure
Courious,
Aluring Infatuation
Unoticed
Endorsing accumulative decietful foundation cracks.

This Old House
Midnight, that old clock keeps ticking,
The kids are all asleep and Im walking the floor.
Darlin I can see that youre dreaming,
And I dont wanna wake you up
When I close the door.
This old house of ours is built on dreams
And a businessman dont know what that means.
Theres a garden outside she works in every day
And tomorrow morning a man from the banks
Gonna come and take it all away.
Lately, Ive been thinking bout daddy,
And how he always made things work, when the chips were down,
And I know Ive got something inside me
Theres always a light there to guide me
To what cant be found.
This old house of ours is built on dreams
And a businessman dont know what that means.
Theres a swing outside the kids play on every day
And tomorrow morning a man from the banks
Gonna come and take it all away.
Take it all away, take it all away, take it all away.
Take it all away, take it all away, take it all away.
Remember how we first came here together?
Standing on an empty lot, holding hands.
Later, we came back in the moonlight
And made love right where the kitchen is,
Then we made our plans.
This old house of ours is built on dreams
And a businessman dont know what that means.
Theres a garden outside she works in every day
And tomorrow morning a man from the banks
Gonna come and take it all away.
Take it all away, take it all away, take it all away.
Take it all away, take it all away, take it all away.

My God cares for birds
My God cares for birds,
butterflies and bees
and flowers and trees
and even cares much more
for you and me.
Everywhere I see
the greatness of His works,
smell the scent, touch the frailness
of flower cups
and want Him
in the love between you and me
to make our world
more beautiful
and our love work perfectly.

Fabulous Dancing Feet
Yeats said: How can we know the dancer from the dance?
Men oft’ do love an artist’s work, minus his personal stance.
I dance for excellence, not that I have perfectly attained.
I dance to rhythm and rhyme but not to distraction’s game.
Here am I, believing God alone knows how to dance the best,
Valuing the difference between ones’ fruit and gifting to rest.
So I dance in gratitude for fruits of labour, salvation freed.
Not alluding to the past, failures, or all that’s lacking in me.
He’s given me dancing feet, and songs so sweet, for romance.
Please excuse me while I throw these old shoes off and dance.
Life to me is colour, texture, and truth’s complexity profound.
At times I think Wisdom, also, dances with me on the ground.

Love Your Work
just love your work
and tell you what
the work does
it all for you
just sit there
do not even think
or lift a finger
your work hands
everything to you
in finished forms
perfectly perfect
love your work
and everything is done
without noticing
the existence of time
love your work
the table comes to you
all set and all you have
to do is simply sit,
eat and relax and
wait
kewl.

We all want something else other than what we have and don't realize what you got works. It works. It does work. You gotta work. Marriage is work. Marriage is a career. It's not an adventure.
2 Find U
If I asked u a question
Would u look me in the eyes?
Has our love been built on lies?
Well, why I'm asking
U see, the time is now
2 turn our backs forever
Or work this through somehow
And I want 2 see u
I want 2 feel new again
[CHORUS]
Hey, U
Do not walk away
Let's choose love, come on
What do u say?
Hey, U
Know that I would spend
My whole life all over again
2 find U
We've layered hurt on hurt
I've seen pain cloud your eyes
But we are bruised, not broken
Like a phoenix, love will rise
And do U see me?
Do u feel new again?
[CHORUS]
Look in my eyes
Kiss my mouth hard
Let your conviction
Reassure my heart
Promise me now
I'll promise U, too
I love u

What Do Good Works Do?
What will a good life do for you, when your earthly life is through?
All the good you proudly say, you’ve done for men along the way.
Good deeds by men can be good; however it must be understood,
That our works won’t take the place, of The Lord’s amazing Grace.
Good works friend play no part, of God’s true conversion of a heart.
Your good works may be in vain, if you do not embrace The Name,
The only name in Heaven raised, by which all men must be saved.
Will all your good works of the past, well into eternity forever last?
Or will they be buried along side, your earthly body that also died?
Are you ignoring God’s Love, working your way to Heaven above?
Forgetting what God has done, by sending His only begotten Son.
We’re not saved by good deeds, but by God’s work upon Calvary,
His finished work on the cross, through Jesus saves all those lost.
For it is His Grace that saves us, when in Christ we place our trust.
Was the good work in your life, done for the glory of Jesus Christ?
Good works won’t move the Lord, if Christ His Only Son is ignored.
Do your works match the price, paid on the cross by Jesus Christ?
When you accept Jesus Christ, God’s works will flow from your life,
Works prepared for all who believe, that will continue on in eternity.
When your works are of The Lord, you will inherit an eternal reward,
Don’t you want to see your works, turned by God into eternal perks?

It's Hard To Be Me
You see me everywhere, in my underwear
You may wonder what I'm here to sell
But underneath my stare, I'm so naked there
There are secrets I'm dying to tell
It's Hard to be Me
Nobody knows what it's like to be
The envy of mediocrity
If you could see
All my depth and complexity
I'd think you'd agree
It's Hard to be Me; It's Hard to be Me
I am up here alone, on my glamorous throne
Want to thank all you people down there
I was once an unknown, like you but I've grown
I have so much I'm hoping to share
It's Hard to be Me
Nobody knows what it's like to be
The envy of mediocrity
If you could see
All my depth and complexity
I'd think you'd agree
It's Hard to be Me, It's Hard to be Me
I guess you think that it's hard for you
Walking 'round in your little shoes
You don't know how I've sacrificed
To live this life, to look so nice
It's Hard to be Me
Nobody knows what it's like to be
The envy of mediocrity
If you could see
All my depth and complexity
I'd think you'd agree
It's Hard to be Me, It's Hard to be Me
Me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me
