Well, for us, in history where goodness is a rare pearl, he who was good almost takes precedence over he who was great.

Be Good
Be a good person
Goodness has no tribe
Goodness has no village
Goodness has no other name
Goodness thrives on any land
In the desert
Goodness is oasis
In the wilderness
Goodness is a pathway
Goodness is required anywhere
It is food to man
It nourishes the giver
And gives happiness to the receiver
Goodness is pleasant
So be good

A Babble...
the goodness that good does
to you, your greed come blocking,
you haven't measured yet
goodness with goodness, you lie
and all the excuses are recited,
and i do not listen, my goodness
does what good can do to you,
i shall ambush, your conscience,
i wait, my goodness can kill you,
then shall you be good forever.

Each person has inside a basic decency and goodness. If he listens to it and acts on it, he is giving a great deal of what it is the world needs most. It is not complicated but it takes courage. It takes courage for a person to listen to his own goodness and act on it.

Do Good
I will live my life doing good
For i understand
The reason of doing good
So wither with or without
I will live doing good
The only power over evil
Is to live doing good
I will live my life doing good
For goodness is love
Goodness will take you
Higher and above
Goodness is kindness
Goodness brings happiness
It opposes selfishness
Goodness is Godliness
So i will live my life doing good

There Is A Goodness That Comes
When I feel a good deed is done,
I feel a goodness that comes over me.
And when I know I can let go of my woes,
I feel a goodness that comes over me.
I feel a goodness that comes.
A goodness that comes.
There is a goodness that comes over me.
I feel a goodness that comes.
I feel a goodness that comes.
There is a goodness that comes over me.
When I awaken from a peaceful sleep,
There is a goodness that comes over me.
There is a goodness that comes.
There is a goodness that comes.
There is a goodness that comes over me.
When I feel a good deed is done,
I feel a goodness that comes over me.
And when I know I can let go of my woes,
I feel a goodness that comes over me.
I feel a goodness that comes.
I feel a goodness that comes.
There is a goodness that I feel over me.

The Death Of Good
TO THEM THAT DO GOOD,
GOODNESS IS SUPPOSED TO BE THY PORTION,
TO THEM THAT DO GOOD,
THOU ART SUPPOSED TO SEE GOOD,
TO THEM THAT DO GOOD, THY REWARD OUGHT TO BE GOOD,
BUT LO AND BEHOLD, THE REWARD OF DOING GOOD IS EVIL,
THE GAINS OF GOODNESS ALTOGETHER IS BECOME EVIL,
THE DIVIDENDS OF GOODNESS HAST BECOME BADNESS,
YEA! LO I BE PAID WITH EVILLNESS FOR MY GOODNESS,
YEA, LO I BE PAID WITH WICKEDNESS FOR MY KINDNESS,
LET ME BE PUT TO ETERNAL SLEEP,
THEN WILL MY EYES NOT BEHOLD THE TRIUMPH OF THE WICKED,
THEN WILL GOODNESS OVERCOME EVILNESS,
YEA, LEST I BE REWARDED WITH EVILS FOR MY GOODS.
LET ALL THAT LOVES TO DO GOOD CEASE TO EXIST,
YEA, LET US THAT LOVE TO DO GOOD, SLUMBER INFINITELY IN ETERNAL SLEEP.
YEA! THAT THE GOOD REMAIN INFINITELY GOOD,
LET THEM FADE OFF IN INFINITE SLEEP,
AND THE EVIL ONE'S CAN INHERIT THE EARTH WHICH HAS NO MORE GOOD IN IT.
YEA, MY GOODNESS IS THUS ATTESTED TO, FOR GOOD WILL DEPART FROM THE WORLD OF EVIL,
AND EVIL SHALL REIGN IN THE LANDS OF THE EVIL.

Three Kinds of People
The books of my history
Begins with comedy
And end with tragedy
“Son”, do you know this
Spontaneous?
If you don’t know
Don’t mind
Your father will tell you.
There are three kinds of people
But the history knows only two
The first are foxy foxes
Who do right things and
Great good deeds
They stand at the top of history
The second are mad dogs
Who do wrong things and
Great evil deeds
They stand at the bottom of history
The third are piggy hyenas
Who are neither wise nor foolish?
Who cannot do right or wrong?
The history doesn’t know them
They have no chapter in history book
Can you choose among them for
Your inspiration and if you
Can heed my advice
The foxes are the best stars
To stick to.

Some people talk as if meeting the gaze of absolute goodness would be fun. They need to think again. They are still only playing with religion. Goodness is either the great safety or the great danger — according to the way you react to it.

Black History Month
In January...
There they are making history.
In February...
There they are making history.
In March...
There they are making history.
In April...
There they are making history.
In May...
There they are making history.
In June...
There they are making history.
In July...
There they are making history.
In August...
There they are making history.
In September...
There they are making history.
In October...
There they are making history.
In November...
There they are making history.
In December...
There they are making history.
But...
It's nice to know
The shortest month of the year
Was chosen to celebrate
The great deeds of African-Americans!
However...
It is those LEAP YEARS,
That really have the blacks jumping for joy!

Great Balls Of Fire
You shake my nerves and you rattle my brain
Too much love drives a man insane
You broke my will, oh what a thrill
Goodness gracious, great balls of fire
You came on over and took over my heart
You came along and moved me honey
I cannot lie you are so fine
Goodness gracious, great balls of fire
Kiss me baby, whooo, feels good
Come on over baby, love me like a lover should
Your fine, so kind, told this world that your mine, mine, mine
You pull my fingers and you twiddle my thumbs
Wanna love you but a true love huh
Come on baby, your drive me crazy
Goodness gracious, great balls of fire
Kiss me baby, whoo, feels good
Ahhh call me baby, love me like a lover should
Your fine, so kind, wanna tell this world that your mine, mine, mine
You pull my fingers and you twiddle my thumbs
Wanna love you but it sure is hard
Come one baby, you drive me crazy
Goodness gracious, great balls of fire
Goodness gracious, great balls of fire
You shake my nerves and you rattle my brain
Too much love drives a man insane
You broke my will, oh what a thrill
Goodness gracious, great balls of fire
You get me lonely and you get all my money
You came alone and your with me honey
Come on baby you drive ah me crazy
Goodness gracious, great balls of fire

Great Balls Of Fire
You shake my nerves and you rattle my brain
Too much love can drive a girl insane
You broke my will oh but what a thrill
Goodness gracious great balls of fire
I like that love cause I thought it was funny
You came along and you move me honey
I change my mind this love is sure fine
Goodness gracious great balls of fire
Chorus:
Ooh kiss me baby, ooh it feels good
Ooh hold me, hold me, I would love to love you
Like a lover should
cause youre fine, and so kind
I tell the world that youre mine, mine, mine, mine
I chew my nails and I twiddle my thumbs
Im real nervous but it sure is fun
You broke my will but I love you still and
Goodness gracious great balls of fire
Goodness gracious great balls of fire
Ooh kiss my baby, ooh it feels good, ooh hold me
Baby, you ought to love me like a lover should
cause youre fine, and so kind
I tell this world that youre mine, mine, mine, mine
I love that you love cause I thought it was funny

The most interesting aspect for me, composing exclusively with patterns, is that there is not one organizational procedure more advantageous than another, perhaps because no one pattern ever takes precedence over the others.

Pearls
A pearl in an ocean of dreams,
What can I say, shot the beams?
A pearl in an ocean of hopes,
All I got was a lot of nopes.
A pearl in an ocean of fears,
Just hand me the beers.
Why a pearl in an ocean,
It has no motion?
(The pearl in me, it's my birthstone.)

Intuition
My intentions are good, I use my intuition
It takes me for a ride
But I never understood other peoples superstitions
It seemed like suicide
As I play the game of life
I try to make it better each and every day
And when I struggle in the night
The magic of the music seems to light the way
Ah, intuition takes me there
Intuition takes me everywhere
Well my instincts are fine
I had to learn to use them in order to survive
And time after time confirmed an old suspicion
Its good to be alive
And when Im deep down and out and lose communication
With nothing left to say
Its then I realize its only a condition
Of seeing things that way
Ah, intuition takes me there
Intuition takes me anywhere
(takes me anywhere, alright)
Ah, intuition takes me there
Intuition takes me there
Intuition takes me there
Intuition takes me there
Intuition takes me there
Intuition takes me there

Pride is not a wise counselor. People who believe themselves to be the incarnation of good have a distorted view of the world. The absence of any obstacle to the deployment of strength is dangerous for the strong themselves: passion takes precedence over reason. "No power without limit can be legitimate," as Montesquieu wrote long ago. Political wisdom does not consist in seeking only immediate victory, nor does it require systematic preference of "us" over "them."

Good Luck
Today brings difficulties that make your brow furrow
Headlines read a future seen by Edward R. Murrow
Words can be so harsh that positivity burrows
Deep down inside making each glance more thorough
You have to keep your happiness until your soul tires
If you lie to make laughs are you nothing but a liar?
Raise your self esteem because no one will do it for you
The wickedness you see around will try to bore through
The sunshine you hold and carry in a basket
Past the lonely days of teardrops and closed caskets
Sidetracked with seemingly constant dark forebodings
From cynicism and sarcasm and a little bit of loathing
True the world will always be a very cruel place
And will offer few reasons for a smile on your face
But smile you must with sincerest sentiments
Never compromise your merriment, meaning, and relevance
Don’t let another drag your worth down like sediments
Even in desperate situations where
It seems evil takes precedence
Over everything you thought was good as a child
The church worked with spies?
Now that’s just wild!
There’s nowhere to hide to avoid misery
But you shouldn’t keep your joy as a great mystery
Awake in history doomed to worry about worry
If life is but a dream then often it’s too blurry
And often forgettable
And in due time it will scurry

Pearl withers not
You shed your charm
So alarmingly.
To me still of charm
You are,
As much as I saw
A decade ago,
The very same in form
When you were with me,
And alike in love and spirit
As you held me then.
Who-else can see you
The way I can?
Who else can admire you
The manner I do?
You are still to me
As you were in prime days.
Bone and flesh are the waves,
Underneath lies the heart, the pearl.
In you I see and I saw
Only the pearl
And changes in waves
In oblivion go.
New admirers might be rare.
Old admirer in me is still there.

Rare Friend
I will be your rare friend;
Spend many hours meditating on your success.
I will be your rare friend;
Be there for you when you are not at your best.
I will be your rare friend;
One who will take you home when your legs tire.
I will be your rare friend;
And will be beside you when go through the fire.
I will be your rare friend;
When others abandon you and laugh at you.
I will be your rare friend;
Not caring the color of your skin or what you do.
I will be your rare friend;
I will be your rare friend because its true, I am you.
