The reveries of youth, in which so much energy is wasted, are the yearnings of a Spirit made for what it has not found but must forever seek as an Ideal.

Spirit
Spirit, fall fresh on me (2x)
Hear my cry, fill my life
I won't need anything but You
I found all that I want, all that I longed for in You (2x)
Wasted time, is when I'm far from Your truth
I've found all that I want, all that I long for in You
Spirit, come be my joy (2x)
Be my song, fill my lungs
I wont need anything but You
I found all that I want, all that I longed for in You (2x)
Wasted time, is when I'm far from Your truth
I've found all that I want, all that I long for in You
I've found all that I want, all that I long for in You (2x)
Wasted time is when I'm far from Your truth
I've found all that I want, all that I long for in You
All that I want, all that I long for in You
I've found all that I want, all that I long for in You (2x)
I've found all that I want, all that I long for is You
Yes, You're all that I want, all that I long for is You

How can time justify it's brazen desire
How can time justify it's brazen desire
When it's obtuse wheels spin less and less dreams?
The callow youth knows more than aged mans mire
For in his heart there is no doubt the means.
Ideal lowered is a life's wasted lamp
It's sickly glow a waning spirit lights,
Burnt low it lies in feeble dull encamp
Crushed before the unfold days cruel sights.
But youth stands bold before the wind so will
Change many times to mock it's many cants.
For youth uses change with an easy skill
While ages mind creaks along and rants:
'Where did my dreams go wrong? ' For wrong they went,
And dreams abandoned will never relent.

Youth culture (youth culture)
Youth culture killed my dog
And i don't think it's fair (i don't think it's fair)
And his suicide can be justified
By the tastemakers, how they cried and cried and so
Bacharach and david used to write his favorite songs
Never, never, never would he worry, he'd just run and fetch the ball
But the night lights and my dog's life aren't exactly one and the same
Youth culture killed my dog
And i don't think it's fair (i don't think it's fair)
And the judgement made in the city of hate
Just broke his spirit so
Bacharach and david used to write his favorite songs
Never, never, never would he worry, he'd just run and fetch the ball
But the hiphop and the white funk just blew away my puppy's mind
I don't understand what you did to my dog
And i don't understand what you did to my dog
I don't understand what you did to my dog
I don't understand what you did to my dog
Youth culture killed my dog (youth culture killed my dog)

As long as anyone believes that his ideal and purpose is outside him, that it is above the clouds, in the past or in the future, he will go outside himself and seek fulfillment where it cannot be found. He will look for solutions and answers at every point except where they can be found--in himself.

When I was a young man I vowed never to marry until I found the ideal woman. Well, I found her but, alas, she was waiting for the ideal man.
We Have Decided You to Be Overqualified
Ive read sheer nonsense,
Many declare as being great.
And I am also aware of incompetence,
Some never self evaluate.
Since they are hired,
To keep those more aware...
Less involved in their affairs.
'I'm sorry.
We have decided you to be overqualified.
And we seek someone with a 'specific' background,
To fulfill a need we seek to keep around.
We are sure with your multiple skills,
Something more ideal will come along for you.
And one day will be found...
If kept pursued.
But today right now,
There is nothing here in view.
Good luck to you! '

Robert Southey Burke
I spent my money trying to elect you Mayor
A. D. Blood.
I lavished my admiration upon you,
You were to my mind the almost perfect man.
You devoured my personality,
And the idealism of my youth,
And the strength of a high-souled fealty.
And all my hopes for the world,
And all my beliefs in Truth,
Were smelted up in the blinding heat
Of my devotion to you,
And molded into your image.
And then when I found what you were:
That your soul was small
And your words were false
As your blue-white porcelain teeth,
And your cuffs of celluloid,
I hated the love I had for you,
I hated myself, I hated you
For my wasted soul, and wasted youth.
And I say to all, beware of ideals,
Beware of giving your love away
To any man alive.

Whats On My Mind
Baby I would do anything for you
Nobodys ever treated me
Quite like you do
Ive wasted too much time
Ive wasted too much time
And Im gonna tell you
Whats on my mind
Yea yea
I was wrong all along
There could be somebody like thee
Here we are finally
Ive found my
Ive found my
Maybe itll be quite sometime
I love you forever
And we will be waiting in time
Im wasting no more time
Im wasting no more time
Im always gonna tell you
Whats on my mind
Yea yea
I was wrong all along
There could be somebody like thee
Here we are finally
Ive found my
Ive found my

Healing Song
(for lost causes, and dissipated dreams)
I hear a song
from within hearts
that struggle to be strong
They weave a song
from threads of pain
betrayal, angst
from shreds of yearnings torn
Dreams:
horsemen fated
to be drowned
with kings
Can you reach my song?
This song for myself, and for me in you
The thing that thinks, and feels, and yearns to be free...
Yearnings, yes, may die, but to yearn remains...
And free forever is the freedom force

2008: from 2001 - Just Enough To Win
No wasted energy here
You have to watch closely
Before you realize that older
And gray to playing way
Below his level
For him
It's a rather light half-court workout
Winner's outs lots of youth
He's mediator coach and
Outside go-to guy
He doesn't bang much
In the middle anymore
He's just where he needs to be
When he needs to be
Slightly above inside and
A step ahead

Make It Last Forever
Make it last
Ooh
Let's make it last forever
(Last... ever)
Don't let our love end
Thank God I found you
Let's make it last
(You)
Let's make it last forever and ever
Don't let our love end
Thank God I found you
Shorty knows she my babygirl and
Playa hatas try hard to get her
But she'll be loungin' in my cradle tonight
Oh
Typically a thug wouldn't say this
But to see your love has got me faded
No girl ever made me feel like you do, ow
Oh
I'ma be here night after night to
Feel your lovin' arms around me baby, baby, baby, baby
You make it alright
No one but you baby, baby
Can make me feel the way you make me, make me, make me feel
Oh
Oh... (ooh)
Make it last
Ooh
Don't let our love end
Oh, don't you let it end
Make it last forever and ever
Thank God I found you
Your touch is wonderful
Your love is so marvelous
Joy, that's what I feel when I'm with you
Yeah
Nothing, no one
(No one, boy)
Could compare to what we have
(Oh no, baby)
Love, it feels so good
I'm so glad you're mine
Oh
Make it last (forever)
Ooh
Don't let our love end
(No, no, no, no)
Make it last forever and ever
Thank God I found you
I'm yours
(I'm yours)
For always
(For always)
My shorty
(My baby)
Forever my baby
You move me
(You move me)
You soothe me
(You soothe me)
I love you
You know I do
Thank God that I found you
(Whoa)
Make it last
Ooh
Make it last forever and ever
No, don't you let it end
(Don't let our love end)
Make it last, baby
Thank God I found you
(Thank God, oh)
Thank You, Lord (yeah)
That I found love
That I found my true love
Oh, baby
See I was so lost without your love
I was lost without you, my every wish and dream
Became reality
Oh, I was so lost
Oh, I
I'm overwhelmed with gratitude
Oh yeah
My baby I'm so thankful
(Thank God I found you)
Thank God I found you, I was so lost without you
My every wish and every dream somehow became reality
Brought the sunshine
Completed my whole life
Make it last forever, baby
Thank God I found you, you, you, you
You, you, you
You, you

Electricity
One source of energy
The ultimate discovery
Electric blue for me
Never more to be free
Electricity
Nuclear and h.e.p.
Carbon fuels from the sea
Wasted electricity
One source of energy
Electricity
All we need to live today
A gift for man to throw away
The chances has nearly gone
The alternative is one
Final source of energy
Solar electricity

The Day Is Wasted
THE DAY IS WASTED
The day is wasted
I did nothing in it-
Does it really matter?
There have been thousands of days in my life
Almost all of them I cannot recall
Many perhaps most were wasted
So one more is wasted-
What can they to me for it?
What is the punishment for it?
The day is wasted
Some day soon there will be no more days to waste
I will not regret this then-
But now
When I still have my work to do and my name to make
Oy va voy a day is wasted
I'd better do something now.

The greatness of human actions is measured by the inspiration that it brings. Blessed is he who carries within himself a God, an ideal of beauty and obeys it: an ideal of art, ideal of science, ideal of country, ideal virtues of the Gospel! These are the wellsprings of great thoughts and great actions. All reflections illuminate infinity.

I Am True
Exactly, I am true, as the wise man said,
Returning to the bedroom when I was sleepy.
So true I was that I had lived a thousand facts,
Turning them over in my reality, like the Sun burns everyday.
The truth of my life is in my bedroom,
Why do cold people seek energy in the night?
Because only the Sun has made you walk in the light,
And gain energy for the upkeep of your family.

A Sand Castle And Our Magic Bond
Was the sunset and almost coming night,
Me and you sitting at the sea side and the seagulls are flying around,
Horizon in red highlights is hiding sun behind,
Sea seems so romantic in the moonlight dance.
We built from sand a castle,
We made a solid ground and built the walls around,
Our hands were merging together,
We belived in our dream, in our ideal.
Waves came and washed away our castle,
Nothing was left behind,
Only our love remains forever,
You and me and our magic bond.
Our sand castle was swept to shore,
We can't see it no more,
But what we built together,
It will be kept as a tresure in the heart.
Nothing in this life lasts forever,
From our material living world,
Only love and spirit values,
Are the eternal, never-ending truth.

It's Come To This
And I found my head uncrowned and all life's sweet nectar flowing down
the cracks and seams wasted on some petty little prayers
And I
Reached up for despair but I was well below that cherished stage
And all
My mangled hopes all song unsung
I fear I've wasted all my sun
I fear I've wasted all my time
Everything is faded
Smiles are fabricated now
I fear I've wasted all my sun
I fear I've wasted all my time
Held my eyes closed for too long
And I ran out through the streets in hopes that I might find it there
But
All my buildings stared back at me tenantless and bare
And I
Reached up for the sky

Youth
Mood of youth,
Mood of youth,
Eagle-like must seek the blue,
Dauntlessly its course pursue,
All the mountain-heights must view.
Blood of youth,
Blood of youth,
Steam-like puts full-speed to sea,
E'en though storm and ice there be,
Makes its way and romps in glee.
Dream of youth,
Dream of youth,
Rogue-like stealing sets its snare
In the maiden's morning-prayer;
All the springtime, fragrant, glowing,
In its airy waves is flowing.
Joy of youth,
Joy of youth,
Waterfall-like foams in truth,
Laughing, rainbow-gifts forth flashing,
Even while to death 't is dashing.
Joy of youth,
Dream of youth,
Blood of youth,
Mood of youth,
Clothe the world with colors golden,
Singing songs that never olden.
