You know, in a workplace, when you shrink the size of a workforce, there is pain there. But there is no question: we have a government that we can no longer afford. That is the cold, hard fact. So we have to make this more efficient. We have to sunset programs that no longer work. We have to eliminate waste and fraud. We must do this.

Let It All Burn
Riding the waves of premonitions.
Maybe your right, maybe your wrong.
I no longer care.
You gave up on me long ago.
And now I'm giving up on you.
The broken hearted are departing.
Setting sail for a new found trust.
I don't blame you, I've just had enough.
Trying to cross the divide.
Trying to see eye to eye.
But the flames just carry to high.
Their might be clearing in the sky but I can't find it.
And I can no longer afford to waste time.
Riding the waves of premonitions.
Maybe your right, maybe your wrong.
I no longer care.
You gave up on me long ago.
And now I'm giving up on you.
Being sucked down in the turmoil at the gates of hell.
I can still hear all those cross words.
As if I can make this work.
I've been down this road before.
I know where it leads.
I know what the seeds grow,
I know you will reap what I sew.
Oh no, no no no no.
And I can no longer afford to waste time.
Riding the waves of premonitions.
Maybe your right, maybe your wrong.
I no longer care.
You gave up on me long ago.
And now I'm giving up on you.
I was once an open door.
But now that is closed.
Can you feel the coldness of the frigid ice.
That's my heart.
It no long bleeds.
Not for you.
Not ever again.
With all the discontent as you keep trying.
Still I'm not moved.
And I can no longer afford to waste time.
Riding the waves of premonitions.
Maybe your right, maybe your wrong.
I no longer care.
You gave up on me long ago.
And now I'm giving up on you.
I made my sacrifices.
Wasted as the blame.
Are you going to do the same.
Follow suit, follow the leader.
I'm no leader of yours.
I never held your cure.
Deny it and they want so bad.
Till it is what they can have,
Then it becomes dull.
A lust upon the soul.
And I can no longer afford to waste time.
Riding the waves of premonitions.
Maybe your right, maybe your wrong.
I no longer care.
You gave up on me long ago.
And now I'm giving up on you.
now I'm giving up on you.
now I'm giving up on you.
now I'm giving up on you.
I'm sorry but the choice is mine.
Not like last time.
You took me down to the ground.
Kicked and spat at me in my rigid face.
Oh how I wish it would have erased every thought of you.
But the heart drifts and the mind wonders.
That becomes our number one blunder.
A calamity marked by thunder.
And I can no longer afford to waste time.
Riding the waves of premonitions.
Maybe your right, maybe your wrong.
I no longer care.
You gave up on me long ago.
And now I'm giving up on you.
A loss is a loss.
No matter how you word it.
Put it in a big captions on it if you want.
You have become so distant.
An after thought of things from the past and things that didn't last.
It wasn't that I took things to fast.
As embers burns slow after the flames die down.
And I can no longer afford to waste time.
Riding the waves of premonitions.
Maybe your right, maybe your wrong.
I no longer care.
You gave up on me long ago.
And now I'm giving up on you.
Ashes float down like rain.
These are my memories of you.
These were my promises broken and stolen.
As if I could be that super man.
Super human abilities that melt you away.
So sorry but that just not me.
You say you loved me.
I say when I must of miss it.
And I can no longer afford to waste time.
Riding the waves of premonitions.
Maybe your right, maybe your wrong.
I no longer care.
You gave up on me long ago.
And now I'm giving up on you.
And now I'm giving up on you
And now I'm giving up on you
And now I'm giving up on you
And I can no longer afford to waste time.
Riding the waves of premonitions.
Maybe your right, maybe your wrong.
I no longer care.
You gave up on me long ago.
And now I'm giving up on you.
So just let it all burn.

The Boy and the Teacher
Teacher, teacher, 'why is my gram parent going to have to go to a nursing home? '
'Well', says the teacher in disgust. 'The republicans(Defenders of the rich) won't allow the raise of the government budget ceiling(The Amount Of Money That The Government Can Borrow.) they don't want to raise taxes on the job creators(Corporations..). But they want taxes on the workers and cuts in government funded programs to equal the new budget. The Democrats(The Ones Who Believe Our Country Should Be A Nanny State) . Don't want to make the cuts in certain government programs or raise taxes on the poor and want to raise the budget ceiling without paying for it.'
The little boy says 'That don't sound that complicated. Why don't we just tax everyone across the board, according the money they make and have. And Why don't we make cuts in programs that are not necessary. Oh and while were at it why don't we bring back our military slowly. So were not spending 60 billion dollars month in other countries. Why do we have to police other countries? Or even a better question how can we afford too when our debt is so high? '
The teacher responds back, why don't you write your congressmen, senators, and president letters and ask them.
The little boys says, 'Easy they would never read them.'
The teacher a little annoyed says, 'You got answer for everything. And I thought I was the teacher.'
The little boy chirps, 'your darn tooting'.

You Are No Longer There!
I no longer hold you like I held you
When I held you...
I no longer want to...in my mind.
I no longer see you like I see you
When I saw you...
I no longer do that, with my time!
Lemonade kisses I licked we onced shared,
I don't even want them anymore...I'm full!
I no longer miss you like I missed you
When missing you...
It's no longer an issue to be defined!
Too messy...
'I no longer love you? ' Bring myself to love you?
Could you bring me peace of mind instead of puzzles
Of your pain...again? That pain...AGAIN? ..NO! '
I no longer hold you like I held you...
Enfolded holding you,
I no longer want to...in my mind!
I no longer see you,
Like I saw you when we met!
I no longer do that...
You're no longer there!
And I have no regrets!

How Much Longer
I'm stuck
Inside
Can't get this done wish I could hide
This scene is really such a pain
I just
Can't see
How this is any use to me
This work is drivin' me insane
All I really want is to get away (can anybody tell me)
How much longer
Till I'm done
How much longer
Wanna feel the sun
How much longer
I can't wait
How much longer until I can play that game
It's on
My mind
I think I'm runnin out of time
This weight is more than I can take
That clock
Is slow
It's never gonna let me go
This time I need more than just a break
All I really want is to get away (can anybody tell me)
How much longer
Till I'm done
How much longer
Wanna feel the sun
How much longer
I can't wait
How much longer until I can play that game
How much longer
Till I'm done
How much longer
Wanna feel the sun
How much longer
I can't wait
How much longer until I can play that game
And here I go again (and here I go again)
Wondering when (when)
I can have my time to play
(Can anybody tell me)
(Can anybody, can anybody tell me)
How much longer
Till I'm done
How much longer
Wanna feel the sun
How much longer
I can't wait
How much longer until I can play that game
How much longer
Till I'm done
How much longer
Wanna feel the sun
How much longer
I can't wait
How much longer until I can
How much longer until I can play that game
(I want to play that game)
Play that game
(I want to play that game)

Standing Still
Factories, once engulfed by workplace smells,
Are now little more than empty shells.
Machinery, which once clanked and clattered,
Stands abandoned, broken and battered.
Cranes, once driven to earn a crust,
Now lay abandoned and full of rust.
People once worked here to pay their bills,
But now the place is standing still.
For trade, this place was an important hub;
It even had its own working men's club.
In its heyday, it saw many deliveries;
Now the silence leaves you shivery.
Along the quayside, big ships docked;
In and out, the dock workers clocked.
It was a hive of activity every day,
Until the workforce were sent away.
Trading ceased and the place closed down;
Now deserted, it is just waste ground.
The buildings are in a state of disrepair:
About them, people now no longer care.
To save their jobs, workers campaigned:
Their fight drove some almost insane.
They struggled to save their livelihoods,
But, in the end, it did them no good.
Many workers felt a real sense of shock,
When, for the last time, gates were locked.
They missed the work and their friends;
Their way of life came to an abrupt end.

Sunset Now
Sun crazed in our room
It was an endless afternoon
It seemed that we were so immune
The nights were stronger and longer
I fell on my pillow saying
Tell the world that luckys calling
Gold dust falling
Here in action town
Sunset now
Sunset now
Sunset now
Sunset now
Blade flew into town
In time to watch the sun go down
He said the new prince must be found
The message shattered our windows
We know it was over, saying
Tell the boys that were not handing
Over any part
Of action town
Sunset now
Sunset now
Sunset now now! now!
Pay out, run out, work out, die out
Action town (action town)
If you have the name
Then you win the game
In action town (action town)
Bang bang youre dead
Its raining bread
Sunset now
Now that we have gone
Do we have strength to carry on
It seems like all our sun has shone
It seems our dice are as cold as ice
But something in my heart keeps saying
Tell the world that luckys coming
Lines are humming
Here comes action town
Sunset now (to fade)

If You Need To Extend Your Time To Achieve Success; Just Do It!
To bag success, you need to make a sacrifice.
You need to cut nonsense moves; you must pay the price.
Make good plans, just advance and make moves that are nice.
Have a real good mentor and follow his advice.
Finish the project; precious time you can extend.
Important and helpful meetings, always attend.
From big problems and huge trials, you must ascend.
To the successful people, just openly blend.
If you really need to work longer, just do it!
If you really need to train longer, just do it!
If you really need to plan longer, just do it!
If you still need to study longer, just do it!

I Am No Longer
i am no longer the girl who sits alone
i am no longer the girl without a friend
i am no longer the girl with the knife
i am no longer the girl who looks at sorrow
i am no longer the girl seeking out missery
i am no longer the girl who hates her life
i am no longer the girl wanting everything to end
i am still the girl that is unknown
i am still the girl that follows
i am still the girl thats vile
i am no longer the girl without a smile
i am still the girl who seeks
i am no longer the girl making her life bleak
i am no longer the girl with depression
i am still the girl who seeks affection
i am no longer the girl whos not fun
i am no longer the girl who runs
but those who seek shall find

Old Child
Child. Old child,
No longer wild;
No longer speaking,
No longer beguiled;
I have become
A quiet old child.
Child. Old child,
No longer cold;
Never an old man,
Always too old;
I have become
An old child tenfold.
Child. Old child,
Forever a child;
Always rethinking,
Always exiled.
I should become
A happy old child.
Child. Old child.
Always soft-spoken;
No longer breaking,
Still being broken;
I have become
An old child, unspoken.
Child. Old child,
No longer bold;
By thinking, rethinking
Of stories untold,
All through my childhood,
I've become... old.

Less Than Pure
We're going to go downtown
I hear this great new place has opened up
And when we get there
I don't know It's taken ages
Don't you know
How long how long
Will this go on
How long how long
Time drags on
How long I find I
can't go on much longer now
But the place in question's hard to find
Not a cab ride to the door
As you wonder in your doubtful mind
Is it really worth all that and more
We seem to be a little lost or something
I'm not really sure about the choice we're making
The toil it's taking on
How long how long
Will this go on
How long how long
The time drags on
How long
I find I can't go on much longer now
But the place in question's hard to find
Like an illness with no cure
And our heads are getting wearier
And our hearts are less than pure
Less than pure
How long I find
I can't go on much longer now
And the place in question's hard to find
Not a cab ride to the door
And our heads are getting wearier
And our hearts are less than pure

The fact is, if our primary legislative goals are to repeal and replace the health spending bill; to end the bailouts; cut spending; and shrink the size and scope of government, the only way to do all these things it is to put someone in the White House who won't veto any of these things.

It no longer strokes your hair
It no longer touches your lips
No longer waves hellos and goodbyes
No longer types a message for you
All it does is close your eyes

Workplace Jingle
From the crammed crypt to the script
A new sun has shone on me
It is the Son from Sonzone
And He says come work with me
Be you Martha in the fore
Or that Mary wearing shawl
There’s new lease of life at work
And He says come work with me
Yet one King will have to reign
For all those who want a rain
On their apron or their scalpel
And He says come work with me
When He comes as C-E-O
And you stand up on your toes
Transformation is on us
For He says come work with me
No one jostles to see Him
He’s for one and He’s for all
The workplace is His workplace
And He says come work with me
You may have a piece of chalk
Or duster to wipe the stuff
Or that voice that pierces ears
He just says come work with me
Come stand with me in my stand
Come walk with me in my walk
Come sit with me in my seat
This is how you work with me

It Goes Without Saying
I need to hear it, one word from your heart
All you ever give me, is it goes without saying
You leave it unspoken, the message is loud and clear
Here in the silence where it goes without saying
Well it goes without saying
Im feeling like a fool for hanging on
And if it goes without saying much longer Im gone
You take it for granted, as if I can read your mind
Im left with a question that never gets answered
I dont want this feeling of wondering where I stand
I wont even ask you if youre gonna tell me
It goes without saying
How am I supposed to know whats going on
If it goes without saying much longer Im gone
Why should I cry? , why lie to myself any longer
If it goes without saying, Im feeling like a fool
For hanging on
When it goes without saying, baby theres no way to know
Whats going on
If it goes without saying much longer, I dont know how i
Can say it any stronger if it goes without saying much
Longer,
Im gone

My Life Is Bliss
As I sit here dithering, I think I'm getting old,
My bones are aching my hands are cold,
It's making me bitter why should this be,
I truly feel that I'm no longer me.
You mature with age is what they say,
You start to shrink and your hair turns grey,
Surely this is not what they meant,
If that's what they say then their morals are bent.
When young and carefree I love my bikes,
The speed and the speed and the thrill fulfilled my likes,
Now my mobility scooter does five miles per hour,
which is not much good when caught in a shower.
Now you've retired you'll live a life of leisure,
Joy and happiness in equal measure,
All the time in the world to do what you want,
Who are they kidding, I'm tired and gaunt.
There are things from my past I just can't remember,
Is Christmas in June or is it September,
What's the difference as I no longer care,
Being this ancient just isn't fair.
My children just dump their siblings at mine,
Saying, I'm alright Jack we hope you'll be fine,
They both need to work for what they can't afford,
All the children can say is, ‘' I'm totally bored ‘'.
I love my grandkids but in small doses.
When they're away life's a bed of roses,
Why can't parents look after their own,
Go back out to work when their children have grown.
The toilet now seems a distance too far,
To get there in time I need a fast car,
Something that really drives me mad,
Is soon I'll be needing an incontinence pad.
The ready made meals are really rank rotten,
The ingredients they use are surely ill gotten,
You don't even take them out of their pots,
They're guaranteed to give you the trots.
To get up off my arse is a major task,
To tend my garden is a really big ask,
Why the hell do we need to age,
The very thought puts me in a rage.
My arthritis is killing me, I've a pain in my back,
I'm never away from the bloody quack,
The tablets I swallow make me rattle,
This ageing thing is a major battle.
You may be more knowledgeable that's a fact,
But using that wisdom is an impossible act,
If truth be told this old age is a curse,
My worst fear is it can only get worse.
All the knowledge I've accrued over the years,
Is in there somewhere but my head never clears,
Ask me anything for I know such a lot,
The problem is what I knew I've forgot.
While in the bar with my life long friend,
We looked at two people who were sat near the end,
I said that'll be us in another ten years,
He said that's a mirror, that brought me to tears.
What have I got to look forward to,
Thinking of even more I can't do,
Those issues in life I'll forever miss,
apart from that,
‘' My Life Is Bliss ‘'
And some of what we're doing in Government even now, some of the welfare reform programs that are helping lone mothers come into work are based on things that were very new under the Labour Government in the eighties.

Gone Is The Light
Every day I wake in my lonely bed
How I wish that I was dead
No more left to be said
A great burden I carry on my head
All I do is question why
No longer pointing my head to the sky
No more wind is in my sail
Nothing more I can fail
I have lost my only friend
In love I fall never again
It is sad but yet so true
Nothing left for me to do
Into the night I'll fade away
For me there's just no more day
All is left is the night
Gone tomorrow the sun light
Darkness surrounds everywhere
Gray are my skies since she's not here
Turned his back no longer I sleep
For my soul no one will keep
As winter’s chill cometh the dawn
Lost all my senses since she’s gone
The darkness cry’s out my name
Hard I find to live down the shame
No longer can I conceal my sorrow
Why must there be a tomorrow
No more comes a brighter day
It just won’t seem to go away
This is a first for me to be alone
I've never been on my own
Gone are the days of my happiness
All is left is pure sadness
No one left to kiss and caress
No longer do I have someone to impress
The darkness I now embrace
For I have fallen on my face
No more to rise it’s the end
For I’ve lost my best friend
That voice I no longer hear
For she’s no longer here

Days to Dazzle In Pretensions No Longer Exist
Whatever is given.
And however that is meant.
Why do many get upset,
When they receive exactly...
What to them has been sent!
Days to Dazzle In Pretensions No Longer Exist
Why is it believed,
By some.
What they do that has been done,
Is okay?
And an acceptance of it,
Should be kept that way.
Days to Dazzle In Pretensions No Longer Exist
Too many people are the 'cause'.
And not the solution to prevent.
Or a pause that should be long taken,
With no attention given spent.
Days to Dazzle In Pretensions No Longer Exist
Some have established themselves as 'saints'.
While others full of themselves,
Do not have to eliminate a single thing...
To emanate fumes from them that 'stink'.
And/or past tense from them that 'stank'!
Whatever is the preference.
Days to Dazzle In Pretensions No Longer Exist
With their quick judgements to pass.
Like fresh air blocking gas.
A picture alone,
Paints a thousand words.
Days to Dazzle In Pretensions No Longer Exist
Whatever is given.
And however that is meant.
Why do many get upset,
When they receive exactly...
What to them has been sent!
As intended upon the return ot it.
