One Part Lullaby
Life is one part lullaby, two parts fear c oscar wilde
One part lullaby, two parts fear
Another animal mixing with the atmosphere
It takes forever to learn to pretend
Nature is the enemy, weather is not your friend
Who can be trusted?
With perfect weather inside
Look for magic in the daily routine
Its all it takes to survive
Leaving heaven below
Go wherever the angels follow
Im watching my body and mind divide
Why live for a future that never arrives on time?
I cant be trusted, Im dust in the wind
I let he weather decide where my day begins
Im not a rebel of the natural one
Im in love with the chemical
Following the setting sun
Lost my patience
All that it takes to survive
Watching my mind and my body divide
Why live for a future that never arrives on time?
Leaving heaven below
Go wherever the angels follow
One part lullaby, two parts fear
Another animal, mixing with the atmosphere
One part lullaby, two parts fear
Im watching my body and mind divide
Why live for a future that never arrives on time?

I really worked to try and be creative enough on the guitar parts so those who aren't real educated would know that there was some difficulty in doing it.

the Self
the self is a mountain
you can go exploring
some parts are not reachable
and some parts so riveting
you just wish to sing them songs
some parts are caves you can shout
and hear your own echoes
some parts are a make belief
haunted house you can frighten yourself with
some parts are chambers of
mysteries you can get lost on your own

When Youre Near Me I Have Difficulty
When youre near me I have difficulty respirating
When youre near me I have difficulty concentrating
When youre near me I have difficulty standing upright
When youre near me I have difficulty sleeping at night
I used to stand proud like a sphinx
In a noble immovable state
Then your heart nailed me under a jinx
Now Im feeling like a jellyfish
Just a spineless wobbly jellyfish
And its great, great, so great
I used to stand high like a pine
Just a piece of emotionless wood
When you put your body near mine
Now Im feeling like a jellyfish
And its good, good, so good
I used to be an iceman
Living in iceman town
So Im warning all you cool cool icemen
Youd better be prepared to be melted right down
Down
When youre near me I have difficulty

The Great Divide
In the canyons of the great divide
Familiar places that we can run and hide
Are filled with strangers
Walking in our houses alone
In the great divide
Nothing to decide
No one else to care for or love
In the great divide
You wont fit in too well
On the horses of the carousel
She rides alone with you and me
She rides like she knows
Wherever she goes, well be there
On the carousel
Life is going well
Anyone can tell were in love
On the carousel
Youre gonna like the way you feel
You and i, we got caught down there
In the twisted canyons of the great divide
We walked the floor
Now we dont go there anymore
In the great divide
Nothin to decide
No one else to care for or love
In the great divide
I dont fit in too well
In the great divide
Nothin to decide
No one else to care for or love
In the great divide
You wont fit in too well

Difficulty Of Reality
And
Difficulty is labour-pain
Out of the lustful stains
To deliver a babe
Difficult even more
The difficulty of the babe
Surrendered or abandoned
And
Much more difficult
The difficulty of the fosterer
Be a true revealer to the babe
Difficult the most
Living an untrue life
With untrue peace
The fostered babe

You are the day, I am the night
You are the day
I am the night.
I am the voice
You are my echo.
We are two parts
You can't divide
And together
We are the picture.
You are the dawn
I am the sunrise,
You are there
And I am here
But... we feel each other
Cause...we are in love.
And here I'll change
And it's not so strange:
You are the day,
I am the night,
You are the voice
I am your echo.
Yes, I agree
That being together
We are the picture.
You can't divide
The day and night,
The dawn and the sunrise,
The voice and it's echo,
The stars and the sky.
So! Our human nature is
A wonderful adventure.
Live in a harmony with nature!

Country Is Like A Body
When one part sick
All parts look unhealthy
When one part missing
All parts get the impact
When one part is weak
Do other parts only blame and not help to fix it?
When one part is failed
Do other parts only let it fall and not support it?
Even it is often forgotten
It doesn't mean it is not important
Even it is always underestimated
It doesn't mean it could completely be ignored
One part may be incapable
But it doesn't mean all parts can do nothing
One part may be invalid
But it doesn't mean all parts should also give up the spirit
In some incredible moment they are working together
In some unseen place they don't stop to struggle
It may be hard but always raises up the hope
It may be small change but always look forward

To Submerge Within Completed Bliss (Part VI)
To submerge Within completed bliss,
May come in parts...
If one chooses to divide,
In units of six.
But when one is determined,
To rid of something unfit...
A veil from secret darkened habits,
Has to be lifted!
To manifest one's happiness!
And undenied...
A fulfillment comes,
To reside inside!

The Great Divide
(michael p. heeney, jackson leap)
Well I could swear
This king size bed
Keeps getting wider
And I could swear
A strangers laying by my side
And I can swear a long dark valley lies between us
And there aint no way to cross the great divide
Chorus:
The great divide
Aint in colorado
Its the distance that weve somehow grown apart
The great divide
Oh that rivers sorrow
We cant rebuild
The bridge we burned
Between our hearts
And lord knows we both tried hard
At crossing rivers
But pride runs as deep
As it is wide
And the love that once could conquer any mountain
Has reached the edge of the great divide
Repeat chorus
The great divide
Aint in colorado

A man’s love for woman
For getting her, I resolved on it,
Come what it would; I resolve to get her.
With this only each man moves his love.
No one will resolve on retaining her.

Turned on.
Punch in any number,
But before you do,
Let me insinuate some things to subtract, add, multiply, & divide.
First, add the years you've spent selling yourself like a Muslim marriage plan.
Second, subtract the dignity diminishing as each year goes by.
Third, divide the spermicide
Eating at your pride
You have no access to happiness
Divide the children pertinent to each man
Don't get too shocked now.
Gotta get to work.
Divide, divide, divide.
Fourth, multiply the times spent with your legs open
Like a 24-hour convenience store.
And what did you get?
A man's spermicide
Eating at your pride
Making babies like you're taking a shit
Subtracting your dignity
In addition to the years spent selling yourself like a Muslim marriage plan.
All of this - for a man's convenience.
Now I know why you hate math.

Architectural Thesis
There is a place
Dark and light
Visible and invisible
Where people come
Come to find themselves
Within this place are places
Formed by convoluted
And woven paths
Slippery and disappearing walls
Elements
Static
Moving
Freestanding and projecting
Where the senses are mixed
And in turmoil
Within this place are places
In the paths
In the ceilings
In the walls
And in the spaces
Threshold between structure
And space is blurred
No stasis
Sexes undivided
Races collided
This is the journey
To the place
There is order where one enters
Replete with the familiar
A rational decision point
Beyond this things are placed
Things are learned
Things are made
There are things to be seen
And heard
Here one feels
Here one experiences
Parts of the place
The divide is thin and long
A fragile skin
Supported by the journey
And the place
Inside spaces collapsed
From bending
And shifting planes
The divide is the edge
Between opposites
Death and life
Woman and man
Unknown and known
The divide is a link
Between the journey
And the place

Females arouse males by their private parts
in all mammals, the parts well decked out.
In women they are hidden and buried.
Men sought their other parts for arousal.

Pulling myself together for M'lady Ann Beard
In dreams I can communicate
with disparate parts of me.
I’m learning to appreciate.
The frightening complexity
Of the different parts of me.
Which I must balance constantly
A task I must face every day
so they combine to make me, me..
I am a father and a son.
I am a brother and a friend.
The endless list goes on and on.
It seems as though it has no end.
Somehow I manage to control
at least the parts on public view.
The scattered parts which make the whole
But still conceal a thing or two.
The parts of me I need to change.
I’m sure I can do given time.
Some parts of me are weird and strange.
Like creatures from an earlier time.
The Id tries to assert its will.
The ego sure to disagree.
The super ego bids them both be still.
I just accept they’re part of me.
When other people look at me.
I wonder if they wonder too
If they can see reality.
I am not certain that I do.
