No.. no.. notorious!
No.. no.. notorious!
I.. cant read about it, burns the skin from your eyes,
Ill do fine without it, heres one you dont compromise.
Lies come hard to disguise
Let me to fight it out, not wild about it
Lay your seedy judgements, who says theyre part of our lives?
You own the money, you control the witness,
I hear youre lonely - dont monkey with my business
You pay the profits to justify the reasons
I heard your promise but I dont believe it -
Thats why Ill do it again
No.. no.. notorious.
Girls will keep the secrets, so long as boys make the noise,
Fools run rings to break up, something theyll never destroy.
Grand notorious slam, (bam!) and who really gives a damn -
For a flaky bandit?
Dont ask me to bleed about it, I need this blood to survive.

The Boy Racer
Hes just too good-natured and
Hes got too much money and
Hes got too many girlfriends
Im jealous, thats all
Have you seen him go, though, oh ?
Have you seen him go, though, oh ?
Boy racer
Boy racer, oh
Were gonna kill this pretty thing
Boy racer
Boy racer, oh
Were gonna kill this pretty thing
Hes got too many girlfriends
He thinks he owns this city
He overspeeds and he never gets pulled over
Have you seen him go, though, oh ?
Have you seen him go, though, oh ?
Boy racer
Boy racer, oh
Were gonna kill this pretty thing
Boy racer
Boy racer, oh
Were gonna kill this pretty thing
He thinks he got the whole world in his hands
Stood at the urinal
He thinks he got the whole world in his hands
And Im gonna ... kill him !
Oh, no !

This is what I wanted. They tell me that London is the best field in history. I wanted to be part of that. Because everyone will be there it will be a wonderful challenge for me. You can see the best runners, how they look, how they run. For me to beat the best is what counts.

Hey, hey, hey
Well theres a lone wolf out on the prowl tonight
Lurkin in the shadows, always out of sight
I said, little girl, dont you hesitate, cause youre usin live bait
Senorita, solitaire, you got a certain kind of savoir-faire
Cause youre notorious (notorious), everything you want,
Everything you need
Cause youre notorious (notorious), every mothers nightmare,
Every schoolboys dream
Everybody by name, every trick in the book
Everywhere that she goes she gets those dirty looks
I said, little girl, dont you hesitate, cause youre usin live bait
Senorita, solitaire, you got a certain kind of savoir-faire
Cause youre notorious (notorious), everything you want,
Everything you need
Cause youre notorious (notorious), every mothers nightmare
Every schoolboys dream
Lock me up, I want to be your prisoner
Lock me up, I want to be your slave
I said, little girl, dont you hesitate cause youre usin live bait
Senorita, solitaire, you got a certain kind of savoir-faire
Cause youre notorious (notorious), everything you want,
Everything you need
Cause youre notorious (notorious), every mothers nightmare
Every schoolboys dream
Cause youre notorious (notorious), everything I want,
Everything I need
Cause youre notorious (notorious), every mothers nightmare

Lock me up

Nameless Meditation
a little boy
is pounding
his shoe
against the pavement
across the street from my parents stoop
and part of me is
in awe
because this could be
a metaphor
for life
and its so ugly
that the situation
becomes beautiful
but i think hes just
getting a rock out of the sole
not the soul
no more
no
less

On The Street Where You Live
(alan lerner, frederick loewe)
I have often walked
Down the street before,
But the pavement always
Stayed beneath my feet before.
All at once am i
Several stories high,
Knowing Im on the street where you live.
Are there lilac trees
In the heart of town?
Can you hear a lark in any other part of town?
Does enchantment pour
Out of every door?
No, its just on the street where you live.
And oh, the towering feeling
Just to know somehow you are near
The overpowering feeling
That any second you may suddenly appear.
People stop and stare
They dont bother me,
For theres no where else on earth
That I would rather be.
Let the time go by,
I wont care if i
Can be here on the street where you live.
~interlude~
People stop and stare
They dont bother me,
For theres no where else on earth
That I would rather be.
Let the time go by
I wont care if i
Can be here on the street where you live,
Let me be on the street where you live.

We wanted to establish a new fan base over here. And second, we wanted to challenge ourselves. We wanted to bring what is ostensibly new music to fresh ears and see what lights them up.

White Heat
Down between the sunbeams the moneylenders chat
Hiding in the shade outside a council flat
Kids in the lift looking for things to throw
And practising their aim on the heads below
They make their apologies with the quickness of their feet
Then lost in the heat haze that shimmers across the street
Underfoot the pavement is melting
Crumbling for the luckiest girl
The whole world is melting.
(white white heat)
Im still not in until a week next wednesday
Im holidaying on the roof til the big bad wolf goes away
In the street the pavement is melting
Crumbling for the luckiest girl
The whole world is melting.
White heat turns the street upside down.
Down between the sunbeams the debt collectors chat, chat, chat, chat,
Hiding in the shade outside a council flat
By the hairs on my chinny chin chin
I shall not let you in.
In the street the pavement is melting
Crumbling for the luckiest girl
The whole world is melting.
(for the luckiest girl in all the world)
(white, white heat)

Sonnet: The Souls on the Streets at Night
Pity the beggar lying by roadside;
Pavement’s his bed; a stone, pillow for head!
With ill-clad children/wife scattered beside,
No one can tell if he’s alive or dead!
Pity the soul, whose dwelling is pavement,
Victim of men/ insects/beasts/ wind and rain!
His roof is formed by the vast firmament;
His only wealth- a begging bowl and cane!
Pity the street-children and people lost;
Their suff’ring’s endless, more so when diseased;
Nothing frightens them, not even a ghost;
There’s none to bury them, when they’re deceased.
Pity the man of poverty in street!
God dwells in him; God surely, will he meet.

London marathon
Through the city down Embankment,
Crowds of people line the pavement,
Founded in nineteen eighty one,
A twenty six mile long run,
To all the challenge is open,
This marathon set in London,
The challenge as motivation,
Or the many a pledged donation,
Competitors bearing through pain,
For the best time they can obtain,
And whether there be rain or shine,
Resolved to cross the finish line,
An eclectic mix to be seen,
With every runner being keen,
Eying records to be broken,
And the applause to be spoken.

You are part of that horrid expression, the best and the brightest. It can be a terrible burden if you let it be, but it is the great challenge of your time. And being a warrior in that challenge should be wondrous.

Boy Racer
Into the maw of darkness,
the boy racer sped
trying the chase the dreams
that spun around his head.
Trying to empress his friends
with the driving skills, he never had.
His three friends yelled
as excitement filled their minds
as they charged into the darkness
all without a care.
The rain came down in torrents
and still he sped on
oblivious to the dangers
if he did not slow down.
As the visibility lowered
the boy racer’s speed increased.
He could out run this
was all that was on his mind.
The wall appeared in front of them,
fear gripped everyone,
and there was no turning back,
not at ninety miles an hour.
Within a second, they were gone,
the damage forever done.
They dragged out their bodies
after the body bags had arrived
or at least what was left of them.
Another tragic accident
where in unskilled hands
speed got the better of them.
At the funeral there were few
because this one boy racer
had killed his friends too.
One-day youngsters will learn,
but only when it is too late
speed can kill all
who want to play with it.

Long Way Home Long Way Home
Walking down an alien street a miserable day in February,
thought he was dreaming asked what am I doing here.
The buildings and people are not as he remembered as
a child. He tried to cross the street but cars kept coming.
A woman took his arm and helped him to cross.
They told him he had lived here for twenty years but
told him in English as he didn't understand the language
these strange people spoke. Tired he sat down at
pavement café, a man asked him what he wanted… he didn't
now so the kind man brought him coffee.
I must find my way home, he said to himself, but I don't know
where it is. Then he remembered that his mother was dead,
he had been asleep, and as he slept the world changed and
he was lost in a future that was not his.

End Of Line
End of the Line
Old man, yes, you who walk near the houses on the pavement
down the street using a cane, is there something wrong with
your hips? Hey! Old man when you see a group of youngsters
standing by the corner you feel fear, and if they make fun of
the way you walk you pretend not to hear only try to walk faster.
It didn’t used to be like this you looked the world in the eye as
you broad shouldered swaggered down the street of life, no one
dared to challenge you then; you didn’t know it was going to end
like this. Hey! Old man your life is behind you and your future is
the grave, and your walk often takes you to the cemetery where
you often go and read the names of people you used to know.
You live in pain- tell me way- most of the time, watch irrelevant
news TV, while drinking a little whisky. Every Saturday you go
the café and drink beer with other old men, only there are so few
of them now. Hey! Old man with a foot in the grave, in your dream
you are still virile and when you wake up you feel young until you
see the cane or your face in the unforgiving mirror. Yet you go on
living your loveless life in the hope of seeing another spring and
see the blossoming of the almond tree.

{Breaking on broadway]
O, O, On the street
[Shaking on sunset strip]
On the street
[Like nobody booming supporting that]
Da, da, da, da, da ...

Dancing
On the street
On the street
Dancing
Dancing

[Twisting on the turnpipe]
Dancing

Allies
I'm feeling good
The city is on
I'm feeling good
A rebel is born
Since the tired class isn't serious
We start laughing obvious
It feels so fine
When there is no doubt
It feels so fine
To emerge the sound
Since the hired mass is notorious
The tragedy it self is calling us
The big dog walks the street without his allies
And i don't let him go
The big dog lost the street and all his allies
And i want him to go
It's not enough
To stand in the dark
While they play off
In the crack of the door
Since corruption plays all tricks on you
You shouldn't go to far
Someone is watching you
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh you'll soon be mine
You'll soon be mine
The big dog walks the street without his allies
And i want him to go
The big dog lost the street and all his allies
And i want him to go
They cannot hide the signs
They cannot hide all signs
So come on and lets go

My Name Is Notorious
You may have heard of me,
my name lives in the mist of many people of the past and present. The poor, and rich, and in the mist of relationship because Im notorious! ! ! ! ! ! ! And today humans still sleep on the fact that I come silently like a thief that's ready and on guard to take there life in time the joy, the peace, there happiness will belong to me, because my name is powerful, I'm notorious! ! Submergence
When along the pavement,
Palpitating flames of life,
People flicker round me,
I forget my bereavement,
The gap in the great constellation,
The place where a star used to be.
Nay, though the pole-star
Is blown out like a candle,
And all the heavens are wandering in disarray,
Yet when pleiads of people are
Deployed around me, and I see
The street’s long outstretched Milky Way,
When people flicker down the pavement,
I forget my bereavement.
