The AIDS epidemic has rolled back a big rotting log and revealed all the squirming life underneath it, since it involves, all at once, the main themes of our existence sex, death, power, money, love, hate, disease and panic. No American phenomenon has been so compelling since the Vietnam War.

The Money
Can money kiss you?
Can it give you a hug?
Will money save you from death?
Often people kiss their money
As if money were a person
but does money kiss you back?
Does money make the world go round?
Perhaps money can bring you down
When you spend it all, it’s just gone
leaving you with... possessions?
It’s true; money can buy you things
but it shouldn’t be the main motivation
or reason to live
It’s the root of all evil
Too much love causes greed
Some people have way too much
While others are in real need
Why are people starving?
The rich dictate the poor
Nothing less and nothing more
Everyday prices just rise
Every night we have to pay more to be alive
Dollar signs and question marks
are what I contemplate
Than money breaks up people
and causes them to hate
Never really seeming to be able to relate
What is real and what is fake?
Money isn’t something death will let you take
So why are riches passing by us daily?
On a path to no where, the money is failing

Vietnam
The runway rushed up at me, I felt the wheels touch down
Stood out on the blacktop, and took a taxi into town
Got off down on Main Street, to see what I recognized
All I seen was strange faces, watching a stranger passin' by
Vietnam, Vietnam, I don't man
Back in Vietnam
Went for my job back at the factory, down at the factory
The only thing I heard from the man at the desk
Is, "Son, understand if it was up to me"
'bout half the town's out of work
Ain't nothin' for you here
From the assembly line to the front-line
But I guess you didn't hear"
You died in Vietnam, you died in Vietnam
Now don't you understand, you died in Vietnam
Drive down my neighborhood
See the flags out on the porch
So I went to see my old baby
Down at First and Grand
Her mama told me she ran off
With a singer in a rock 'n' roll band
????
I can see me passin' by
You died in Vietnam, you died in Vietnam
Boy, don't you understand, you died in Vietnam
The runway rushed up at me, I felt the wheels hit down
I stood out on the blacktop, and took a taxi into town
Got off down on Main Street, to see what I could see
All I seen was strangers, watchin' a stranger pass by
And that stranger was me
Vietnam, Vietnam, oh-no man
Vietnam
Went to see my baby, down on First and Grand
To tell her I'd come home from away in Vietnam
Her mama came to the door and told me
Her mama told me she ran away
With a singer in a rock 'n' roll band
She said, "I'm sorry son, but we understand"
You died in Vietnam, you died in Vietnam
Now don't you understand, you died in Vietnam

Platonic Disease
Your grips fallen.
I'm fallen, we've fallen beyond.
Expired, we've acquired platonic disease.
No jury, your cause.
Speak laws afford the bigot.
Back load myself.
Lay down the sentence of never ending said.
Platonic disease.
Platonic disease.
No jury. The pain.
The chance wronged release pain.
The stakes torn, lives cross.
Deep waters, willing loss.
Download main site.
Lay down victims right.
The fuels burnt, worlds part.
Seems like a never ending vicious cycle of death, of death.
Platonic disease.
Platonic disease.
Now see, world dies.
Strips down the face of disguise.
No rules, my way.
My way of things to say.
Your pore boils, burnt sore.
Lift off the face of wood.
Platonic disease.
Platonic disease.
Platonic disease.
Platonic disease

Things Are Much Better Nowadays! (World Aids Day 2012 Poem by an Indian doctor)
The war we waged on H. I. V. and AIDS
Is going well as things seem much better;
Let's continue our efforts till it fades,
Until there is no new disease-getter!
New cases in India are on the wane;
Lesser children get disease nowadays;
We can zero the deaths down in the main;
More victims get the A. R. T. with ease!
From darkness, we are entering the light!
From despair, we are seeing newer hope;
From downhill course, the future seems quite bright;
We can fasten the disease in ‘cure's rope'!
So, cheer up every man, woman and child!
The days ahead can be better for all;
The complications henceforth may be mild;
Renew the fight with soul - a clarion call!

A World Filled With Hate
This world is filled with hate
Hate against life
Hate against your friends
Hate against your pet
Hate against the rain
Hate against a busdriver
Hate against your teacher
Hate against your parents
Hate against your brothers and sisters
Hate against a difficult game
Hate against your job
Hate against the way you live
Hate against your body
Hate against a withering flower
Hate against a not-working car
Hate against someone hurting you
Hate against a child that doesn't obey
Hate against the cloudy sky
Hate against God
Hate against the death
So much hate in everyone of us
We're filled with it
But only a little dropp of love
In this hate filled world
Could overcome every bit of hate

What Has Been Revealed
What has been revealed,
Has been revealed.
Even with eyes tightly closed...
What has been revealed,
Has been revealed.
Even with an upturned nose...
What has been revealed,
Has been revealed.
Even with pretensions,
Left to charade.
What has been revealed,
Has been revealed.
Even with the cool-aid made...
What has been revealed,
Has been revealed.
Even with debates...
Created for more time to waste.
What has been revealed,
Has been revealed.
Even those who protest,
Unaccepting with wishes to reject!
What has been revealed,
Has been revealed.
Even the message,
And the messenger to detest!
What has been revealed,
Has been revealed.

An atheist is someone who is certain that God does not exist, someone who has compelling evidence against the existence of God. I know of no such compelling evidence. Because God can be relegated to remote times and places and to ultimate causes, we would have to know a great deal more about the universe than we do now to be sure that no such God exists. To be certain of the existence of God and to be certain of the nonexistence of God seem to me to be the confident extremes in a subject so riddled with doubt and uncertainty as to inspire very little confidence indeed.

Rotting Ways
Terror fills My mind
Cannot prevent what's mine (revenge was mine)
Silence life thats...
Fearing the souls of fate
Death decides rotting ways
Rotting Ways
Fear of death the signs from below
Rotting Ways
...
The fear has come beyond the rotting ways
Now the time writes down the days
They're coming for the glory of the kill without a sound
Mystery... back into the ground
Terror fills My mind
Cannot prevent what's mine (revenge was mine)
Silence life thats...
Fearing the souls of fate
Death decides rotting ways

Hate is what I hate
Hate is what I hate
Unable to control myself
I hate
The people who live in hate
Live like a savage
Cunning and mischievous
Use money and power
Against the weak and poor
No respect for the handicapped
Treat old people
Children and woman shabbily
I hate the shameless
Arrogant
Power and money their goal
Dishonesty their forte
Humility not in their thoughts
Friends of Satan
They do not believe
In god

Epidemic diseases usually elicit a call to ban the entry of foreigners, immigrants. And xenophobic propaganda has always depicted immigrants as bearers of disease… Such is the extraordinary potency and efficacy of the plague metaphor: it allows a disease to be regarded both as something incurred by vulnerable "others" and as (potentially) everyone's disease.

For The Love Of The Money And The Car And... Sex!
It's a triumvirate of evil and
It has spread it's disease throughout
The strata of every country in the world
My friend if you have chosen to live your life
In unfashionable deep spiritual contemplation
You can without fear call it the axis of power and
Greed and lust for historical purposes
And go on and cry for the world sister Bettina!
And weep for Humanity with his insatiable greed for
Money and his criminal longing for material things
And his animal lust for the things of the flesh
Oh weep for humanity!
For it is Mankind who suffers His own self inflicted
Wounds and the money lenders have corrupted Humanity
And there are huge technological advances made and
The spirit of Humankind gets even more corrupted
And the sex industry feeds the insurance
Companies and the death factories of the mortuaries
With the corpses of the hundreds of thousand who
Succumb to the ravages of AIDS

A Creature With A Diagnosis
is a reality check wall crack
sometimes takes years
to find what exactly they're suffering from
lack of time money confidence dreams
lack of people love intelligence please
should you meet one don't let them in
they're vampires sucking the best of your blood
helplessly devouring panic anathemic
self cursed epidemic

run run run away do not yield

Johnny Panic & The Bible Of Dreams
I dream of heaven
I dream of heaven
I dream of heaven, yeah
High time we made a stand and shook up the views of the common man
And the lovetrain rides from coast to coast
D.j.s the man we love the most
Could you be, could you be squeaky clean
And smash any hope of democracry ?
As the headline says youre free to choose
Theres egg on your face and mud on your shoes
One of these days theyre gonna call it the blues
Johnny panic
Johnny panic and the Bible of dreams
I get excited by the news of today
What seems unstable may be able to stay
Johnny panic
Johnny panic and the Bible of dreams
I dream of heaven, yeah
I spy tears in thier eyes
They look to the skies for some kind of divine intervention
Food goes to waste !
So nice to eat, so nice to taste
Politician grannie with your high ideals
Have you no idea how the majority feels ?
So without love and a promise land
Were fools to the rules of a goverment plan
Kick out the style ! bring back the jam !
Bring back the jam !
My flame is heart, my baby do as she please
What good is living, when you live in disease
Johnny panic
Johnny panic and the Bible of dreams
I dream of heaven, its a heavenly place
Why fall in love? when you can fall from grace
With johnny panic
Johnny panic and the Bible of dreams
I dream of heaven
I dream of heaven
I dream of heaven, yeah
