But the important thing about learning to wait, I feel sure, is to know what you are waiting for.

Waiting For Waiting's Sake
Waiting is more of a feeling than a state or being
When you wait it's not really time spent that weighs on you
IT's really the purpose or reason and the place you wait too
Waiting never is waiting even when it's 5 or 10 or 20 hours or more
It becomes waiting when you feel impatient
When you feel you can no longer wait
That is truly when you being to wait
And wait for waiting's sake
It always seems like more minutes more time
More time is what makes it weigh more, but it's a change
In emotion basically an enigma
It is not even what you do as you wait
If anything at all, it strangely is just the
Feeling. Consider when you simply stare at the
Clouds for hours, you wait and wait
Watch the clouds' gait
But not even a minute passes not in your mind
Not any second is wasted of left behind
But waiting 2 simple minutes is waiting
When you let emotions take hold
Even asked to wait another second is brazen and bold
So you see it is only that emotion
Only that feeling, desire for resolution and restitution
It's funny how we are not controlled by
States or circumstances
Mere happenstance
But rather we are controlled by character, emotion, our feeling
No state of the world can change them
It is only when
We allow our perceptions to change, it is only then
Circumstance even affects us, it only happens when we let it
And so I say when we wait and don't feel waiting
It is not waiting at all, no matter how much time
I realize I feel nothing, no sense of waiting not when I rhyme
I lose perception of time and so I have unlimited time
To write and write and write each and every single
Time I wait and even I wait for waiting's sake

The willingness to keep learning is, I think, the most important thing about trying to be good at anything. You never want to stop learning.

The Waiting Game
It seems we wait and wait and wait
for something all our days.
And the time we spend waiting
provides us with delays.
Sometimes what we wait for
is so far out of reach
that the waiting becomes the lesson
that your life is trying to teach.
To wait for the improbable to happen
is called the impossible dream.
Tis it not better to stop the waiting
and stop the inner stream
of frustrating tears that flow each day
because instinctively you know
that the waiting will never disappear.
The waiting will never go.

The Wait
What would you do if I could not wait,
would not wait for you?
You would never see me in evening
or in the morning's dew.
All the things that come alive
for my eyes to see
would not be looked upon by you,
only seen by me.
For I cannot wait. My life ticks away
and my body withers too fast.
And all this waiting has taken its toll
and I feel I will not last.
So the clock stops now. The wait is gone
and the time with you, no more.
And of course I know what you will think,
'What was she waiting for? '

Stranglehold
Can I get you to give me a minute of your time?
Can I get you to slip me the answer?
Can I get you to slow me a little of your mime?
You were always a very good dancer
Id be happy to show you a bit of what I found
Id be happy to share in its beauty
Id be happy to lay low inevitably bound
I would only be doing my duty.
I wait, I wait, I can wait, I can wait back in the bar
I can wait, I can wait , I can wait back in the car
Ill be waiting for you
Stranglehold, you know youve got on me
I dont want to go without you.
Stranglehold, youve got me where you want me
But I want to know more about you I want to know more
About you.
Are you willing to wager a little of your life?
Are you willing to take such a gamble?
Are you ready to walk on the edge of the knife?
Then I think we can skip the preamble.
I wait, I wait, I can wait. I cant wait back in the bar,
I can wait, I can wait, I can wait back in the car
Ill be waiting for you. Ill be waiting...
Stranglehold, you know, youve got on me
I dont want to go without you
Stranglehold, youve got me where you want me
And I want to know more about you I want to know more
About you.
I can wait, I can wait back in the bar I can wait, I can wait
I can wait back in the car Ill be waiting for you.

The Virus Of Life
I can see you but you can't see me
I could touch you and you wouldn't even feel me
Wait a second and you'll settle down
I'm just waiting 'til you really let your guard down
You're relaxed, you're sublime, you're amazing
You don't even know the danger you're facing
If I'm quiet, I'll slide up behind you
And if you hear me, I'll enjoy trying to find you
I've been with you all day
I'm trying to stay calm
I'm impatient and it's really hard to breathe
I'm going to empty you and fill you in with me
Just keep the violence down
Not yet-Don't make a sound
Oh, God I'm feeling it
It's reaching fever pitch
My skin is caving in
My heart is driving out
No mercy, no remorse
Let nature take its course
Watching-Bring me to my knees
Waiting-I am your disease
Lover-Set my symptom free
Covered-You won't feel a thing
(wait, no, wait, wait, no, wait, wait, not yet, no wait, wait)
I'm sweating through my veins
I'm trying to hold on
It's unbearable, It's almost worse for me
I'm gonna to tear you apart and make you see-Make you see
Watching-Bring me to my knees
Waiting-I am your disease
Lover-Set my symptom free
Covered-You won't feel a thing
This is the virus, the virus of life
This is inside us, The crisis, The knife
It's almost time to play/It's time to be afraid
I can't control the pain/I can't control in vain
Oh God, I'm ready now/You're almost ready now
I'm gonna love you now/I'm gonna put you down
I see you in the dark/I see you all the way
I see you in the light/I see you plain as day
I wanna touch your face/I wanna touch your soul
I wanna wear your face/I wanna burn your soul
Watching-Bring me to my knees
Waiting-I am your disease
Lover-Set my symptom free
Covered-You won't feel a thing
You can't stop me
This is the virus, the virus of life
This is the virus, the virus of life
This is the virus, the virus of life
This is the virus, the virus of life

Waiting Man
I come back...come back
You see my return
My returning face is smiling
Smile of a waiting man...
I be home soon soon soon
Soon cry on your shoulder
Your shoulder against my burning tears
Tears of a waiting man...
One two three four one two three...
I wait every moment
I wait, wait for my chance
I wait for my friend to say
Hello, you waiting man
Feel no fret feel no fret feel no fret
You can wait and feel no fret
And so I wait so I wait so I wait so I wait
I return face is smiling
Be home soon cry on your shoulder
Tears of a waiting man
Every moment wait for my chance
My friend say hello feel no fret
You can wait and I wait and I wait
And home I am...

Waiting Is The Long Answer
WAITING IS THE LONG ANSWER
Waiting is the wrong answer
We wait and wait and wait.
And when what we have waited for
Does not come true?
We wait and wait and wait
And wait more.
And one day
When we are still waiting
Waiting stops
And our life has not come true
As we dreamed.

All My Life
Is it the way that you feel when Im kissing on you
Or is it the soul I can see in your eyes
The clothes that you wear or the smell of your hair
Or is it the way I cant sleep when youre not there
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
Is it the way that you feel deep inside
Or is it the way that I feel so alive
Your star and your flair are beyond compare
Or is it the way that we feel when were on fire
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
All my life, oh i, Ive been waiting for you
Every night, oh Ive been waiting for you
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
All my life, oh i, Ive been waiting for you
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
Ive been waiting for you

Ive been waiting for you

Waiting Room
I sign in my name
I guess I have to wait a while
I'm gonna play this game
Call me up if you know how to dial
You always had my number
You need to be my lover
Humiliation
I'm in the waiting room
[Chorus:]
If we both want the love
And I wait long enough
Then the ground that we're on might be coming
All I can do is wait for you
All I can do is wait for you
I'm all alone in the waiting room
I'm all alone in the waiting room
When you buried in solitude
It can get real thick
Desire is your only food
It can get you sick
You know you're so fine
I'm over here standing in this line
Just waiting in the waiting room
[Repeat Chorus]
While I'm in the waiting room
A thousand thoughts I think of you
Whatever you did

Learning To Fly
Well I started out down a dirty r oad
Started out all alone
And the sun went down as I crossed the hill
The town lit up the world got still
Im learning to fly but I aint got wings
Comin down is the hardest thing
Well the good old days may not return
And the rocks might melt, and the sea may burn
Im learning to fly but I aint got wings
Comin down is the hardest thing
Well some say life will beat you down
Break your heart, steal your crown
So I started out for God kno ws where
But I guess Ill know when I get there
Im learning to fly around the clouds
But what goes up must come down
Im learning to fly but I aint got wings
Comin down is the hardest thing
Im learning to fly around the clouds
But what goes up must come down
Im learning to fly
Im learning to fly

Standards are a little crazy these days. I think that, when you go to sleep, as long as you're happy with the way you are and the way you look, that's the most important thing. I think it's an internal thing. As long as you feel good with who you are and comfortable with what you're wearing, but not if that's the most important thing.

Wait
(jack hues)
Streetcorners seem designed to lie in wait
For a chance to get involved in lovers fate
And this one seems as good as any Ive seen
So wait here with me until six-fifteen
Chorus:
Im waiting for you
But youre very late
I know youll come anyway
And I can hardly wait
Evidently
Theres a difficulty
I know youll come anyway
And I can hardly wait
Wait
I see you approaching youre the eyes of the crowd
The traffic and people, God theyre all so loud
But in a couple of moments they will all disappear
Because were ever so close when were ever so near
Repeat chorus
Punctuality
Was never much to me
Being yourself is the main thing
Forget about the time
Forget about the time
Being yourself is the main thing
The main thing
The main thing love

Wait never ends
I wait
Eagerly
Desperately,
Longingly,
Helplessly,
I wait
Patiently,
Quietly,
Lovingly,
Hopingly
Ultimately
Praying to God
Wait?
Replies the god
I keep on
Waiting
And
Waiting
For the wait
To end
But the wait
Never ends

I think the number one thing that I find important is the importance of honesty with your friends and your parents, if you can be. But I think that telling people how you really feel, being who you truly are, being safe and taking care of yourself is the most important thing.

Learning
I'm learning to say thank you.
And I'm learning to say please.
And I'm learning to use Kleenex,
Not my sweater, when I sneeze.
And I'm learning not to dribble.
And I'm learning not to slurp.
And I'm learning (though it sometimes really hurts me)
Not to burp.
And I'm learning to chew softer
When I eat corn on the cob.
And I'm learning that it's much
Much easier to be a slob.

The thing I hated about it was that you live in your trailer all the time and then they call you and you do maybe two dozen lines. Then they do that for three hours and you wait and wait and wait, and I don't like waiting.

Wise and Wisdom
The nature of wisdom,
The nature of insight is such that
If you know that something is good and
You don’t do it, you loose your insight.
If you want to develop wisdom and deep insight,
Put into practice as soon as possible what
You understand to be right thing to do.
If you do just this one thing I assure you that you
can develop your deep spiritual qualities.
Be more mindful, your mind will tell you;
The right thing to do.
No matter how much;
we know if we don’t put it into practice,
what is the point of knowledge.
Learning a few things at a time, and
immediately putting them into practice.
That is the most important thing to do,
Don’t wait for more knowledge.
Do what you know right now,
That will make you know more and more.
Wise person becomes wiser;
When they do what they know now and it will make it easier
For you to do the next thing.
Take small steps to improve ourselves every day,
Consistently and with determination,
It gets easier as you go on.
As long as you head in the right direction and
Keep going you’ll get there.

Waterhole (Expresso Bongo)
I lie awake at night
Listening to you sleeping
I hear the darkness breathe
And the rain against the window
After all this time
Cynical and jaded
All the stones are diamonds
All the blues are faded
Everything I've been through
All I've seen and heard
Spent so much of my life
In the spiritual third world
But you came and brought the rain here
Something waiting to happen
Something learning to fly
We can talk without talking
From inside to inside
I have waited to feel this
For the whole of my life
We took ourselves apart
We talked about our faces
You said you didn't like yours
I said I disagree
I keep the pieces separate
I clutch them in my coat
A jogsaw of an angel
I can do when I feel low
From emptiness and dryness
The famine of our days
Watch the heaves open
Wash it all away
You came and brought the rain here
Something waiting to happen
Something learning to fly
On the edge of exploding
Something wild and alive
Something waiting to happen
Anytime that you like
I have waited to feel this
For the whole of my life

Surfin' Safari
Let's go surfin' now
Everybody's learning how
Come on and safari with me
Early in the morning we'll be startin' out
Some honeys will be coming along
We're loading up our Woody
With our boards inside
And headin' out singing our song
Come on baby wait and see
Yes I'm gonna take you surfin' with me
Come along baby wait and see
Yes I'm gonna take you surfin' with me
Let's go surfin' now
Everybody's learning how
Come on and safari with me
At Huntington and Malibu
They're shooting the pier
At Rincon they're walking the nose
We're going on safari to the islands this year
So if you're coming get ready to go
Come on baby wait and see
Yes I'm gonna take you surfin' with me
Come along baby wait and see
Yes I'm gonna take you surfin' with me
Let's go surfin' now
Everybody's learning how
Come on and safari with me
They're anglin' in Laguna in Cerro Azul
They're kicking out in Dohini too
I tell you surfing's mighty wild
It's getting bigger every day
From Hawaii to the shores of Peru
Come on baby wait and see
Yes I'm gonna take you surfin' with me
Come along baby wait and see
Yes I'm gonna take you surfin' with me
Let's go surfin' now
Everybody's learning how
Come on and safari with me
With me
Surfin' Safari
With me
Surfin' Safari
With me
Surfin' Safari
With me
Surfin' Safari
With me
Surfin' Safari
With me
Surfin' Safari
With me
Surfin' Safari
