The alternate media are becoming important and viable alternatives to playing live. Records, videos, that kind of thing. They're going to start to count for something. Because there's only a limited amount of us-time available to us.

There was a time when the FCC tried to require a certain amount of television and media to be educational, a certain amount to be newsworthy and a certain amount of it to be public access.

School Or Summer
School, work work work
Thats what you do all day
Sitting in a chair looking at the teacher
Who just wrote down more work for you.
All year you wish and count down till the end of school
For summer to come and save you
from drowning in the work teachers have to give you.
Summer comes and saves you just in time like every year
And as you go on and on just playing outside
watch tv and playing games
you start to think and think.
As every dayd gose by you do the same thing over and over.
In the middle of summer you start to count down
but this time to the end of summer and begining of school.
Is summer really better then school?
Or is school really better then summer?

If you're successful in what you do over a period of time, you'll start approaching records, but that's not what you're playing for. You're playing to challenge and be challenged.
I was very pleased to find that once I had records out music videos were starting to happen, so I directed some of my own music videos and got to experiment in other areas of expression.

The lighting is so important. One thing that makes me nuts about the lighting now is that they spend an enormous amount of time lighting the set, the background. But the most important thing in the scene is the actor.

The Way You Do
Every little thing's been said about it
How does it apply to you
Maybe I could learn to live without it
Where do you find
One of a kind
Playing for time
The way you do
Every other day I think about it
Do you remember when
You said we'd never be without it
Where do you find
One of a kind
Playing for time
The way you do
Maybe I'll find love
The way you do
Maybe I'll find love
The way you do
Playing for time love
The way you do
The way you do
The way you do
The way you do
Everybody says I'm mad to doubt it
And I believe it's true
Maybe I should learn to live without it
But

Maybe if they start playing new rock bands videos, then maybe but there is no point in a guy like me spending 250 grand for a video that no one is ever going to see.

I took a private lesson, but it didn't really work out, so I went back to playing along with records. That's really the thing that got me into playing a lot - getting excited about playing along with my favorite bands like Zeppelin and Black Sabbath.

At one time they've been the most important thing to me. So I can't hear our records on the radio, I can't stand it, because they sound so out of what everyone else is doing.

The real amazing thing about all of this is I think I've maintained the mentality of a musician throughout it all, which I'm proudest of. And I'm still playing on people's records and singing on people's records.

With Fresh, Opportunity
Many come to live it,
And be in it!
Many come to live it,
And be in it!
Many come to live it,
And be in it!
Many come to live,
And not be limited.
Many come to live it,
And be in it!
Many come to live it,
And be in it!
Many come to live it,
And be in it!
Many come to live,
And not be limited.
There is...
No need to fear,
A new day that appears.
There is...
No need to cry,
Those days once disguised.
There is...
No need to be,
What you once believed.
A new dawn has arrived,
With fresh...
Opportunity!
Many come to live it,
And be in it!
A new dawn.
Many come to live it,
And be in it!
A new dawn.
Many come to live,
And be in it.
A new dawn.
Many come to live,
And not be limited.
Many come to live it,
And be in it!
A new dawn.
Many come to live it,
And be in it!
A new dawn.
Many come to live it,
And be in it!
A new dawn.
Many come to live,
And not be limited.
With fresh,
Opportunity.
Many come to live it,
And be in it!
Hey.
Many come to live it,
And be in it!
Hey.
Many come to live it,
And be in it!
Hey.
With fresh,
Opportunity.

I did, like, a couple of sexier videos, because all of a sudden I went, 'Wow, I have a body. I have this side of me that I haven't shown yet.' And I started kind of playing around with that side of things.

Loaded Dice

Pocket full of money
Got a big smile all on my face
Boy and I can charm the diamonds
Right off the back of a rattlesnake
But youve got me so confused
Cut me cold as ice
I aint used to losing
Guess Im playing with loaded dice
Well the first time that I saw you
Said youd just dumped your old man
Then the next time you was dealin
Must have dealt me a losing hand
Woman I tried to win your love
Just cant pay the price
Keep throwing in sevens
I keep on playing with loaded dice
Well I thought I was a hustler
But you sent me back to school
Keep playing some new game
Making up your own rules
Must be some kind of crazy
Let you fool me twice
I dont know why
I keep playing with loaded dice
Well, tonight I hit the jackpot
I was shining like a diamond ring
Lady luck was smiling
And the old snake charmer was doing his thing
You saw the tables turn
Man it sure felt nice
Now we see whos laughing
Now we see whos playing with the loaded dice
Girl you aint like nothing
Ive ever seen before
Keep throwing in aces
I keep coming back for more
Guess I should have listened
But you cant give a fool advice
Dont know why I keep playing with loaded dice.

Bad Day Fever
There is no bad day
It is the time when some bad things happened
and we let ourself down
Thinking it's bad
Yes, it's bad and nothing gonna change this day
to be the worst day in your life
You didn't count the time when you sleep and wake up
You didn't count wasting time with your air head
You didn't count the time you do common things daily
You even didn't count that you still breathe this time
The only thing that you think is the bad time
and let yourself down
Nothing will be change
Because you are the one who close your heart
and close all happiness gates with your little bad thing

Old Time Rock Roll
Old time rock & roll
Just take those old records off the shelf
Ill sit and listen to em by myself
Todays music aln t got the same soul
I like that old time rock n roll
Dont try to take me to a disco
Youll never even get me out on the
In ten minutes Ill be late for the door
I like that old time rockn roll
Still like that old time rockn roll
That kind of music just soothes the soul
I reminisce about the days of old
With that old time rock n roll
Wont go to hear them play a tango
Id rather hear some blues or funky old soul
Theres only sure way to get me to go
Start playing old time rock n roll
Call me a relic, call me what you will
Say Im old-fashioned, say Im over the hill
Today music aint got the same soul
I like that old time rock n roll
Still like that old time rockn roll
That kind of music just soothes the soul
I reminisce about the days of old
With that old time rock n roll
