Selfishness and sacrifice
Selfishness and sacrifices,
Like cold and heat, eat each other.
Either extreme would cause damage.
Selfishness is for one’s survival.
Sacrifice is for one’s group’s survival.
To force others to serve your end
Is worse than selfishness; avoid.
Be warm, which is half cold, half hot.

I Believe in Muses
Nine to the Universe, the Nine Divine
I believe in Muses, Inspire me to dream sublime
Empress Omega, Betty Shabazz, Nzinga all of the Queens
I believe in Muses, Inspire me to achieve impossible dreams
Your sepia back, so strong and beautiful as obsidian
I believe in Muses, Inspire me to search where truth is hidden
Thighs, eyes, hips and lips, I desire you body and soul
I believe in Muses, Inspire me to an orgasmic loss of self control
Your beauty has inspired men to create, to build, to rise
I believe in Muses, Inspire me to be a King in your eyes

Woman's Skepticism
love, desire, passion, fire, is all the qualities that you seek
for this is what will make you complete.
the man will normally have the passion and desire
while the woman has the love and the fire.
his desires could light a stack of timber
and leave your body totally limber.
it will grow so strong, that it turns into passion
and not caring about which feelings is in fashion.
he has to quench this irresistible urge
burning every part of his being
and this is all that he is seeing.
the fire spreads throughout his brain
leaving him totally insane.
he finally realizes that this ' must be love'.
and these feelings were all brought on by you
and to his heart, he must be true.
when you finally find a man who has all these qualities
you have become so skeptical
that these qualities you do not see.
open your eyes for i am here.
let me take away that fear.
my love has become embedded so deep in my soul
that my heart it did take hold.

Don’t Escape Serving
Selfishness is an inborn trait,
That preserves the self and its babes.
To serve the others also is a part
Of selfishness. Don’t escape it.

Inspirational Death
Your death will inspire a thousand more.
The flames of your funeral pyre will ignite those of your fallen comrades.
Your death will inspire a nation to fight for its liberation.
The freed blood will be on your hands.
Your death will inspire the future.

December
Only love can ease the pain
Of a boy caught in the rain
Only hope will remember
Burning flames in December
Only love
Only love
Only faith can bring to life
One who falls by the wayside
Only trust can inspire
Soggy lungs to breathe fire
Only love
Only love
It's only natural
The moon is just half full
We give our best away
We give our best away
Only love...
Only trust can inspire
Soggy lungs to breathe fire
Only love
Only love
Only love
Only love

We've All Been Greedy
Those peaceful nights for some have passed.
Those feeling safe...
In sheltered communities behind closed gates.
Are awakening.
But not to Robins singing.
To peer from behind French customed made doors.
Swinging out onto the patio.
Overlooking acres upon acres upon more acres,
Of freshly cut grass.
These awareness days have come upon us fast.
Who would believe such a quick erasing,
Of a way of life....
Would come to pass.
And leave those embittered with much grief,
With streaks of torment on twisted faces.
Disgraced and now nervously pacing.
In wait.
But for what?
When the 'why' of it has arrived too late!
We've been greedy.
See what gluttony does when it can't be overcomed.
We've been greedy,
And feeding on our selfishness.
While ripping the hearts out of those to sustain it.
Doing everything to gain more and maintain it.
We've been greedy!
And..
The stinging of the realness,
Persists.
And can not be contained.
Acts of civil madness...
Spreads fast!
Thousands go out of their minds.
Many more are trapped!
Something in their minds have snapped.
Only those exposed to fantasies,
Are observed doing that.
And a waste of explanation can not bring them back!
Their self delusions have attacked.
Leaving us all affected by that 'fat'!
Yes fat!
Undisciplined rascists...
Tearing each other apart,
While laying lazily on our backs...
We've ALL been greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
Yes...
Greedy!
And...
Doing it bigger,
But never better than the rest.
Greedy!
Yes...
Bleeding a democracy.
With wishes to have all desires met.
And caring less about those we've distressed.
We've ALL been greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
Just greedy!
And...
Doing it bigger
But never better than the rest.
Just so greedy!
Yes...
And bleeding a democracy.
With wishes to have all desires met.
And caring less about those we've distressed.
Yes...
And,
Greedy!
Yes!
Feeding on our selfishness.
Just greedy!
And...
Doing it bigger...
But never better than the rest.
A sleazy greedy!
And...
Bleeding a democracy.
With wishes to have all desires met.
And caring less about those we've distressed.
We've
ALL
Been
Greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
Just greedy!
Yes...
Doing it bigger...
But never better than the rest.
Sleazy greedy!
And...
Bleeding a democracy.
With wishes to have all desires met.
And caring less about those we've distressed.
We've ALL been greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
We've ALL been greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
We've ALL been greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
With wishes to have all desires met.
And caring less about those we've distressed.
Greedy!
Yes...
Feeding on our selfishness.
Greedy!
Yes...
Feeding on our selfishness.
Greedy!
Yes...
Feeding on our selfishness.
We've ALL been greedy!
Yes...
Feeding on our selfishness.

A New Kind Of Fire
A new kind of fire, burning inside
Wonderful feelings, I just can't hide
Life is worth living
Love can inspire such a new kind of fire
Silent, sweet surrender
A broken heart remembers the first time
Last moments sweet and tender
Cold and dying embers when love dies
In the quiet of the mist
When two lovers kissed the very last time
But we're right here tonight
It's love at first sight and we're doing allright
A new kind of fire burning inside
Wonderful feelings I just can't hide
Life is worth living
Love can inspire such a new kind of fire
Mexican morning, we danced until dawn
In the moonlight
In blue Acapulco, nobody that we know
Is just right
No thought of tomorrow
And sorrow is clear out of sight
But right here tonight
Love is allright
And we're lost in the light
A new kind of fire burning inside
Wonderful feelings I just can't hide
Life is worth living
Love can inspire such a new kind of fire
A new kind of fire burning inside
Wonderful feelings I just can't hide
Life is worth living
Love can inspire such a new kind of fire
A new kind of fire burning inside
Wonderful feelings I just can't hide
Life is worth living
Love can inspire such a new kind of fire
A new kind of fire burning inside
Wonderful feelings I just can't hide
Life is worth living
Love can inspire such a new kind of fire
A new kind of fire burning inside.......

There is a strange duality in the human which makes for an ethical paradox. We have definitions of good qualities and of bad; not changing things, but generally considered good and bad throughout the ages and throughout the species. Of the good, we think always of wisdom, tolerance, kindliness, generosity, humility; and the qualities of cruelty, greed, self-interest, graspingness, and rapacity are universally considered undesirable. And yet in our structure of society, the so-called and considered good qualities are invariable concomitants of failure, while the bad ones are the cornerstones of success.

The Best Place For Truth
“Wake up Jane, got something to tell you,
I have ceased to love you”.
“Oh, I knew it all along”, she said,
“but didn’t let you know I knew! ”
“I knew you were soon done with me,
but made it up by a pretense of love,
and it must have been so painful for you”.
“Why, Jane? Why didn’t you tell me? ”
“cause sometimes the best place for truth
is in the heart, that’s why! ”
“what’s the truth you guarded in your heart? ”
“it matters little to you, my selfishness”
“what selfishness? ”, I cried,
“loving you knowing it would not come back! ”
I woke up from the dream and knew….
I couldn’t let it out of my heart!

Death To Selfishness
Death To Selfishness
Greed that desires flawless attraction
Self seeking interest
Obtaining righteousness
Barren the depths of generous bountifulness
For one must bequest death to selfishness

I start with actors that I know personally or I know their work, and there are things about their work or their presence or their own personality that make a character, that exaggerates some qualities and suppresses other qualities. It's always a real collaboration for me.
