The deepest need of men is not food and clothing and shelter, important as they are. It is God.

Food, Clothing, Money, Shelter, and...
Food, clothing, money and shelter
I have them all
Why is this heaviness in life
Why is it to be hauled?
Food, clothing, money and shelter
are all requirements of my body
While pursuing all these material necessities
I forgot to feed my soul.
An engine needs fuel to be propelled
Soul needs a goal
Without goal the life is empty
Goal makes the life whole.
No goal means no life
Worry and fear cloud the soul
To live life to the fullest
I need to have something in the morning
to wake up for.

Somewhere near you, somebody right now is trying to help the indigent and poor - providing food, shelter, clothing or simple kindness.

Food Clothing And Shelter
Food clothing and shelter
bare necessities.
But not all.
Peace and harmony in society
is necessary
But it does not suffice.
The world is one
And we must be friendly
And we must move
positively.

If
If justice
Not delivered
Anything offered
Useless.
If food clothing
And shelter
Taken away
Debate useless
On anyother matter.

It seems the most logical thing in the world to believe that the natural resources of the Earth, upon which the race depends for food, clothing and shelter, should be owned collectively by the race instead of being the private property of a few social parasites.

I applied my reason at every moment. Reason is excellent for getting food, clothing and shelter. Reason is the very best tool kit. Nothing beats reason for keeping tigers away. But be excessively reasonable and you risk throwing out the universe with the bathwater.

No Access To Fast Food, Branded Clothes And
The creation of nations,
that have passion,
for money and power,
is the absolute poverty.
Not having the access,
to shelter, food and clothing,
to have a healthy living.
Fifteen percent Americans,
fall under poverty line,
and they earn,
less than,
ONLY 22K American dollar,
per year.
In other parts of the world,
people live,
in appropriate poverty,
and they live on,
2 dollars a day,
six hundred dollars a year,
five people can eat,
have shelter and simple clothing,
still they are healthy.
slim and fit.
Europeans are clever,
to make the people to believe,
that they are poor,
earning only 800 Euro a month,
Which is above,
the average annual income,
of many developing nations,
where people have,
no access to any wealth and health.
All of us stay in the same earth,
but the value of properties,
and the rental acquired,
through the properties,
differ substantially.
Politicians of the poor nations,
have abysmal knowledge on economics.
To be a rich nation,
we should have values,
but these clowns are short sighted,
to look at the value,
of their own properties!
Do not say that they are poor,
because the term poor itself,
will be ashamed,
for using its credibility,
for wrong purpose.
Please do not call them poor,
when the nations are able to provide them,
the food, shelter and health care.
Find a suitable word,
and leave the poor alone,
who have no access,
to any of these comforts on their own,
and their nations,
are unable to provide them,
the access to the comfort.
Reason for writing this poem.
The feelings of the poor are the same through out the world, irrespective of the countries that they are staying, but the proper definition for poverty should be clarified before classifying the people as poor, which means the poor of one country may be considered as the rich in another country. Then what is the real meaning for poverty?

Recognition
He achieves and strives for more
More more and more
And there is no end to this more
This more has ulterior objectives in store
And there is no end to this more
Just as a donkey needs food
So does a man
Though science may challange
But a habit to me
Not strange
Mahatama has shown this world
And Buddha penanced to achieve invincible heights
Those whom you worship take no food
Purity you see in those statues
Guided by these myths
You achieve and take food
A step further is the obsession
Of clothing and shelter
This, to me an adaptation
Those creatures without brain
In the Arctic, in Tropics and down in the seas and deserts and there down in the Antartic
Haven't they adapted?
Why can't we
The brainy creatures
We often change our habits don't we
To meet our ends we often adapt
But adaption and change of habits will not meet our ends
A bit of recognition will change the entire trend.

Overweight with Food
Are you just a tub of lard and
Vastly overweight?
Do you think that when you die you'll
Need a piano crate
To act as coffin for your frame? -
Chosen as you die in shame, with
Only you to take the blame
For years of eating much the same:
A daily calorific fest
Gourmands of your ilk digest!
Is your heart in final fling and
Nearly set to burst?
Are your arteries bunged and clogged and
Feeling now the worst
For wear? - your aneurysm fit to blow
While blood as thick as rising dough
Cries 'Halt! ' to any hope of flow:
A dreadful state to put on show
In front of any nurse!
Best you hail a hearse.

so you have proclaimed freedom
you have said it all: no food, no shelter, no clothing, no nothing
except freedom
just the feel of being free and being freed from everything
naked, and homeless, and hungry,
and then so
unfree.....
freedom, what is freedom, there is more to be learned
there is more to be done
there is more to be responsible about it
this freedom from need, from want, from being so ignorant
and shackled with that limitless desire to be free from feelings
without the mind?

God Is...My Lover
Yes...
I confess.
God is...My Lover.
And we are attracted and attached.
Nothing done that I do,
Is behind my Lover's back.
Yes...
God provides my every need.
From shelter to clothing...
And the food I receive that feeds me.
And whenever I am feeling down...
God,
My Lover...
Is always around.
And I admit,
I have at times taken Him for granted!
So spoiled am I!
But I do not try to ever deny Him,
With my all!
God is...my Lover!
My Provider.
And the reason I am here to give,
And live a life to fulfill with complete joy!
He loves me.
And I love God.
And we...are lovers!

Thundering Of Cloud
Thundering of cloud
Gives us three Ds
first D is Dana
That is charity
Second D is Damana
That is Self-control
Third D is Daya
That is Mercy
Thundering of cloud
Preaches us
Charity self-contol
And mercy
As our duty
And if we perform
Our duties
We can get food
Clothing and shelter
Easily through God.

Syrup Sponge
Pour a pint of cream
Upon my spongy bulge!
Scoop me with a
Hefty spoon;
Taste my essence -
Do you swoon?
Feed your self-esteem; indulge
In me until you burst -
Death by syrup sponge - you're cursed!
And as the count in inches gain
Upon your weary waist, the strain
Will tell, but you'll not care -
Steeped in sponge, you're unaware!

Salad is Incompatible with Life
Yes, my waist is fifty inches -
Big for me because I'm short.
And yes, I like my cheddar cheese
When partnered with a vintage port.
Okay, okay, that double cream
Is always served with pud,
And cake and biscuits with my tea
Are just no bloody good
For my poor hardened arteries,
But see my point of view,
Please dear wifey if you please,
A Salad makes me spew!
I'd rather eat a bowl of air
Than crunch away on greens;
Drink water from the toilet bowl
Or nibble on my jeans!
But salad! Are you there?
You know it makes me snappy -
So let me fill my face with grub,
Stay fat, and die young happy!

Open Our Eyes
Leon lumkins
Father, open our eyes, that we
May see, to follow thee. oh lord
Grant us, thy lovin peace, and let
All dissension cease. let our fait,
Each day increase,
And master - lord please-
Open our eyes, open our eyes-
He has given us, hills and mountains, he
Has given us, level places.
He has given us food and clothing,
Given us shelter from the storm and the rain-
And all that he provided,
Kept us shelter from the storm and the rain-
Grant us thy lovin peace,
And let all dissension cease,
Let our faith each day increase,
And master - lord please
Open our eyes, open our eyes

America is becoming more and more dependent upon imports from foreign manufacturers than we are exports from our country in all fields: in appliances, in clothing, even food. This year America may become for the first time in its history a net food importer.
