Life's Wishes
When we were young
We would dream of our tomorrows
Wishing that they would be today

And our tomorrows are reality
We now wish for yesterdays

Tommorows Just Another Day
Trying hard, I thought Id done my best
All my life, I cant get no rest
Some whove closed the door before
Say I cant carry on no more.
I hear them saying
Tomorrows just another day
I hear them saying
And it gets better every day
I hear them saying
Tomorrows just another day
Listened long, tried to take it in
All these facts leave me in the swim
Its down and down there is no up
I think that Ive run out of luck.
I hear them saying
Tomorrows just another day
I hear them saying
And it gets better every day
I hear them saying
Tomorrows just another day
Tomorrows just another... day
Walking now, over covered ground
There is a chance if I move around
I need a moment to reflect
On the friendships I have wrecked.
Why is it i, dont I always try ?
I hear them say
Tomorrows just another day
I hear them say
And it gets better every day
I hear them say
Tomorrows just another day
I hear them say
And it gets better every day
I heard them say
Tomorrows just another day
I hear them say
Tomorrows just another day
Tomorrows just another...
I hear them saying
Tomorrows just another day
I hear them saying
And it gets better every day
I hear them saying
Tomorrows just another day

Tomorrow
We don’t know what tomorrow may bring
But we want something that will make our hearts sing.
And the things that will make our hearts sing
Is the beautiful memories that it brings.
What is tomorrow but another day
Another day of living, another day of giving
Another day of sharing, another day of caring.
All of our tomorrows will be yesterdays
And all our yesterdays are our pasts
And it will be another memory that will last.
Watching all the Doo wop groups of yester year
On wpbt made me feel old as can be.
With each tomorrow brings you closer to old age
And your life will never be the same.
I will take all my tomorrows and hold them
Like a newborn child, and give thanks to god above
For showing me how to love.
And when my tomorrows become my yester years
With everyone that I know, these memories I will share.

That nobody knows
I know that nobody knows
what the future really holds
and that the yesterdays stay behind
and the tomorrows wait for themselves
and I only ask: give me today.
Let me now read love
in your eyes
and let this day be
like the only time
that I am here.
Nothing I can do to yesterday
and about the tomorrows
only destiny knows
which determines it
and here and now
is what I actually have.

Yesterdays
Aren't we sick of yesterdays
that got us where we are?
All the yesterdays that got us here
and still we've not gotten far.
Aren't we tired of the yesterdays
that seem to haunt our dreams?
All the yesterdays have become todays
and nothing changes it seems.
Aren't we afraid of the yesterdays
that have never gone away?
All the yesterdays have come again
and now we have to pay.
The price we pay for yesterdays
is the sorrow we see today.
For the masses have become so used to them
that their feet are stuck in clay.

Yesterday's Papers
Who wants yesterdays papers
Who wants yesterdays girl
Who wants yesterdays papers
Nobody in the world
After this time I finally learned
After the pain and hurt
After all this what have I achieved
I've realized it's time to leave
Cause
Cho wants yesterdays papers
Who wants yesterdays girl
Who wants yesterdays papers
Nobody in the world
Living a life of constant change
Every day means the turn of a page
Yesterdays papers are such bad news
Same thing applies to me and you
Who wants yesterdays papers
Who wants yesterdays girl
Who wants yesterdays papers
Nobody in the world
Seems very hard to have just one girl
When there's a million in the world
All of these people just can't wait
To fall right into their big mistake
Who wants yesterdays papers
Who wants yesterdays girl
Who wants yesterdays papers
Nobody in the world

Tomorrows Gonna Be Another Day
By tommy boyce and steve venet
Im gonna pack up my pain,
I been a keepin in my heart,
Im gonna catch me the fastest train
And make me a brand new start
But thats okay,
Tomorrows gonna be another day,
Hey, hey, hey.
And I dont care what they say
Tomorrows gonna be, tomorrows gonna be,
Tomorrows gonna be another day.
Yay, yay, yay,
Yay, yay, yay.
They say theres a lotta fish,
Swimmin in the deep blue sea,
Im gonna catch me a pretty one
And shell be good to me.
But thats okay,
Tomorrows gonna be another day,
Hey, hey, hey.
And I dont care what they say
Tomorrows gonna be, tomorrows gonna be,
Tomorrows gonna be another day.
Yay, yay, yay,
Yay, yay, yay.
Well, I aint gonna think about ya,
cause it aint no use no more,
Im gonna make it fine without ya,
Just like I did before,
Im on my way.
Tomorrows gonna be another day,
Hey, hey, hey.
And I dont care what they say
Tomorrows gonna be, tomorrows gonna be,
Tomorrows gonna be another day.
Yay, yay, yay,
Yay, yay, yay.

Yesterday Blues
Oh for the yesterdays, filled with sincerities,
togetherness, love, and future harmony.
Shouts of laughter were unashamedly loud,
today there’s silence beneath a shroud.
Yesterday once promised endless tomorrows
full of opportunities with no regrets or sorrows.
Tomorrows promises have now vanished from sight
along with my reason, hope, and fight.

Take off your hat to your yesterdays; take off your coat for your tomorrows.
All Tomorrows Parties
(reed)
And what costume shall the poor girl wear
To all tomorrows parties
A hand-me-down dress from who knows where
To all tomorrows parties
And where will she go and what shall she do
When midnight comes around
Shell turn once more to sundays clown
And cry behind the door
And what costume shall the poor girl wear
To all tomorrows parties
Why silks and linens of yesterdays gowns
To all tomorrows parties
And what will she do with thursdays rags
When monday comes around
Shell turn once more to sundays clown
And cry behind the door
And what costume shall the poor girl wear
To all tomorrows parties
For thursdays child is sundays clown
For whom none will go mourning
A blackened shroud, a hand-me-down gown
Of rags and silks, a costume
Fit for one who sits and cries
For all tomorrows parties

Yesterdays Child
Roy orbison/bill dees
I see the face of yesterdays child,
Living in a state of in between.
Is there a place for yesterdays child,
Searching for an unforgotten dream?
Looking for rainbows at midnight,
Hoping tomorrow will come.
Will time erase for yesterdays child?
What will the child become?
I hear the voice of yesterdays child
Echoing my name, my name, my name.
Is there a choice for yesterdays child,
Seeking shelter from the falling rain?
Chasing a butterfly lover,
Making a run for the sun.
Who will rejoice for yesterdays child?
What is the game to be won?
Will you draw?
Will you fold?
Will you start playing wild?
What is the future for yesterdays child?
Will you turn to dust,
Or go to the sea, racing with destiny?
Oh,look at me,
Born to be yesterdays child.

Et Memoria
Come and walk through my life today
while we remember our yesterdays,
a new day is unfolding for us
and leave an impression of you,
painted against the canvas of my thoughts
because every new tomorrow
is born from our yesterdays
and you stay part of me, even though
everything between us is past,
I see you in the sparkle of the sun,
the dew that are sparkling on leaves
and now I realize, that love
in every moment of remembering
starts new again
and how slowly I still stretch out moments
that is already past
as if it’s always part of my humanity
but I am aware
that our relationship is far past being dead,
that tonight
you will find heat with someone else
as if I am only
part of a quenched flame.
[Reference: Et Memoria by Japie S. Strydom:
“Come walk tonight
through my tomorrow,
and page with me through my dreams,
draw your body here
in my soft covered book,
since our today is born in yesterdays and tomorrows:
you are a flash of the sun,
the early morning dew;
summer dreams on a late afternoon,
an early spring morning–
tonight I know,
that the days of our lives (love?) ,
again,
starts in every remembrance:
how slowly I weaved you
and carried you down
– into the cocoon of yesterdays and tomorrows
in remembrance of drawn out longing
to the wool blanket of my conscience.
Tonight I know
that your feet
unaccustomed to the strangeness -
will separate from me coldly shy.” (My English translation.) ]

I am as hungry now as I was when I began in the sport. If anything, I am probably a bit hungrier. It is because I know there are fewer tomorrows than yesterdays.

The Last Time
She walks the wire
Start to ending
But the wheeze is someone else inside her head
She swallowed fire
While pretending
That the flame has long been dead
And now love is just a stranger in her bed
She said this is the last time
I wont be back
Ill take a cab home
Before the second act
This is the last time
Ill turn that page
No more tomorrows
Im full of empty yesterdays
Now cousin sydneys such an outcast
Cause his parents ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
An angry young man is on the warpath
Theres so many things hed change
If only hed been better bet-all tell-all hank
He said this is the last time
I wont be back
Ill take a cab home early
Before the second act
This is the last time
Ill change my ways
No more tomorrows
And the things Id wished Id always changed
In a shiny perfect world
Dashing boy gets girl
Are you one of the lonely ones
Seems I cant remember when
Or just how long its been
Since Ive been waiting for that train that never comes
And we said this is the last time
I wont be back
Ill take a cab home early
Before the second act
This is the last time
Ill turn that page
I left the opening rather early
Before they left the stage
This is the last time
I change my ways
No more tomorrows
Im full of empty yesterdays
Yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
Ooohh

Remember Tomorrow
Unchain the colours before my eyes,
Yesterdays sorrows, tomorrows white lies.
Scan the horizon, the clouds take me higher,
I shall return from out of fire.
Tears for rememberance, and tears for joy,
Tears for somebody and this lonely boy.
Out in the madness, the all seeing eye,
Flickers above us, to light up the sky.
Unchain the colours before my eyes,
Yesterdays sorrows, tomorrows white lies.
Scan the horizon, the clouds take me higher,
I shall return from out of fire.

Dandelion
Settle down now and sit with me
Let me tell you how this all came to be
A yellow flower with your pedals to the air
And flying on paper wings that brought you here
Summer rolls on in the lazy hours
An ether dream way
Of hummingbirds and clouds
Midnight swims in the cool back waves
And you in my arms as it rolls away
Chorus
Little dandelion
Let your heart keep time
Now the clouds are gone
All of your tomorrows shine
Oh oh
All of your tomorrows shine
Oh oh
All of your tomorrows shine
Born of restless night the moon as a pearl
Playing games down inside your soft warm world
Hear my voice I know that you can
You're the fire in my eyes
The sun as a man
Seasons come along and seasons go
And what they'll leave behind
I don't pretend to know
I'm afraid that all I have missed
Will loom very large when the darkness lifts
Chorus
Little dandelion
Let your heart keep time
Now the clouds are gone
All of your tomorrows shine
All of your tomorrows shine
All of your tomorrows shine
I will ride by your side
Wherever you go
I won't run I won't hide
Just letting you know
Chorus
Little dandelion
Let your heart keep time
Now the clouds are gone
All of your tomorrows shine
All of your tomorrows shine
All of your tomorrows shine
All of your tomorrows shine
All of your tomorrows shine
All of your tomorrows shine

Yesterdays Songs
Written by: neil diamond
Yesterdays songs
Dont stay around long
Not much anymore
Yesterdays words
Dont make themselves heard
Like they did before
Baby, yesterdays blues
May be yesterdays news
But the truth always stays the same
And good things will never change
Like sayin I love you
Sayin I love you
Yesterdays songs
Dont seem to belong
Theyre here and theyre gone
Yesterdays moves
Dont stay in the grooves
They keep moving on
Maybe yesterdays rhyme
Was for yesterdays time
And the futures not ours to see
But theres some things that always will be
Like sayin I love you
Sayin I love you

If you hear my voice
If you hear my voice
and acknowledge how much I love you,
know the sincerity that is in me
all the yesterdays and tomorrows
may be filled with time spent
and words and deeds to come
and yet nothing more is necessary
to tell you
how much you mean to me.

The Foreverness
I write about magic
moments,
time spent with
you,
if only in dreams.
recreating an
illusion
in my mind.
the yesterdays,
today, and
tomorrows.
the foreverness.
