I believe that truth is the glue that holds government together, not only our government but civilization itself.

Trust X
Trust is the glue that holds us together
It makes us feel safe in the stormy weather
You rely and trust on that person or friend
But when it's gone you can never amend
Trust is the truth that hurts when pretending
Open it up to find the circle never ending
One lie linked to another in a chain
one link breaks but the others still remain
Trust is broken and the relationship the same
One lie to start but in the end it's just a game
How do you begin to get it all back?
When the lines are forming and you can see the cracks
One little lie contained in a square box
You open the lid and the content shocks
Cos there's another one with the lid closed tight
Your heart plummets down from a great height
The box within a box of lies goes on forever
And the cunning fox you feel inside, it's clever
trying to outwit you and trying to hide,
Trying to fool your thoughts from the inside
The game is played and the damage is done
The hurts been caused and the fox has won
what he doesn't know is that he's lost it all
And the game that was played was for nothin at all
Trust is the glue that holds us together,
'Break it again and you've lost me forever'.....

Two On Glue
Who huffed at the party? Me and you
At the party, two on glue
Gonna get up going down
We're just two on glue
Turn this place into a den
We're just two on glue
Living large and getting small
We're just two on glue
Turn this place into a den
We're just two on glue

Truth
Every day there is a lot of “truth”
Truth according to science
Truth according to law
Every person holds their own truth
Truth according to religion
Truth according to culture
Every time we must decide what should we trust
Truth according to your own heart or
Truth according to some power

Carbona Not Glue
Wondering what Im doing tonight Ive been in the closet and feel all right
Ran out of carbona mom threw out the glue
Ran out of paint and roach spray too its tvs fault why I am this way
Mom and pop wanna put me away from the early morning movie to the late late show
After its over nowhere to go and Im not sorry for the things I do
My brain is stuck from shooting glue Im not sorry for the things I do

I believe in an America with a government of men devoted solely to the public interests — men of ability and dedication, free from conflict or corruption or other commitment — a responsible government that is efficient and economical, with a balanced budget over the years of the cycle, reducing its debt in prosperous times — a government willing to entrust the people with the facts that they have — not a businessman's government, with business in the saddle … not a labor government, not a farmer's government, not a government of one section of the country or another, but a government of, for and by the people.

The Secret of Life
The artist picked his career
With the intention of just being good.
Finding that to get what you seek
You cannot just be good,
'Would I have picked this job, ' he thought,
'Had I known what now I know,
That there is bad in what I sought? '
He had a go at doing
What a teacher said,
Using glue,
Using lots of glue,
But finding still
Some goodness left,
Used only glue instead.
Asked for his finding
On the secret of life,
He admitted he hadn't a clue,
'But I know where it has to lie,
It can only lie in the binding.'

(V - 2009) The Truth of the Truth
The Sages and Seers
That be and have been
Cannot have seen
The truth of the Truth!
What they see as Truth
Is Truth merely
It’s not really
The truth of the Truth!
The Ultimate Truth
Cannot be known
We aren’t that grown –
The truth of the Truth!
We’re part of the Truth
We’re trying to see
We’re yet so tiny –
The truth of the Truth!
Though hard and great
The pains we give
We cannot outlive
The truth of the Truth!
What’s Truth to you once
Remains not the same
So changing the game –
The truth of the Truth!
What’s Truth to a man
Is not Truth to all
That’s what we call
The truth of the Truth!
These thoughts as I pen
It’s Truth to me
It’s to me only
The truth of the Truth!
I Should Be Allowed To Think
I saw the best minds of my generation
Destroyed by madness, starving, hysterical
I should be allowed to glue my poster
I should be allowed to think
I should be allowed to glue my poster
I should be allowed to think
I should be allowed to think
I should be allowed to think
And I should be allowed to blurt the merest idea
If by random whim, one occurs to me
If necessary, leave paper stains on the grey utility pole
I saw the worst bands of my generation
Applied by magic marker to dry wall
I should be allowed to shoot my mouth off
I should have a call in show
I should be allowed to glue my poster
I should be allowed to think
I should be allowed to think
I should be allowed to think
And I should be allowed to blurt the merest idea
If by random whim, one occurs to me
If necessary, leave paper stains on the grey utility pole
I am not allowed
To ever come up with a single original thought
I am not allowed
To meet the criminal government agent who oppresses me
I was the worst hope of my generation
Destroyed by madness, starving, hysterical
I should be allowed to share my feelings
I should be allowed to feel
I should be allowed to glue my poster
I should be allowed to think
I should be allowed to think
I should be allowed to think
And I should be allowed to blurt the merest idea
If by random whim one occurs to me
But sadly, this can never be
I am not allowed to think
I am not allowed to think
I am not allowed to think (I am not allowed to think)
I am not allowed to think (I am not allowed to think)
I am not allowed to think (I am not allowed to think)
I am not allowed to think (I am not allowed to think)

Humpty Dumpty Love Song
All of the king's horses and all of the king's men.
Couldn't pull my heart back together again.
All of the physicians and mathematicians too.
Failed to stop my heart from breaking in two.
'Cos all I need is you, I just need you.
Yeah you got the glue so I'm gonna give my heart to you.
I had a premonition, a movie in my mind,
confirming my suspicions of what I would find.
It followed me to L.A., down to Mexico,
came in through the back door at the start of the show.
Still all I need is you, I just need you.
Yeah you got the glue so I'm gonna give my heart to you.
Oh was a perfect day. Oh in a perfect way, you know,
something had go, you left me high, you left me low.
Now as I lie in pieces, and wait for your return,
the sun upon my forehead it burns baby burns baby burns.
An eye on all my horses, you've slept with all my men.
I'm never gonna get it again. Still all I need is you,
I just need you, I just need you. Yeah you got the glue,
so I'm gonna give my heart to you. Yeah you got the glue
And there's nothing I can do. Yeah you got the glue
So I'm gonna give my heart to you

We stand equally against government by a plutocracy and government by a mob. There is something to be said for government by a great aristocracy which has furnished leaders to the nation in peace and war for generations; even a democrat like myself must admit this. But there is absolutely nothing to be said for government by a plutocracy, for government by men very powerful in certain lines and gifted with "the money touch," but with ideals which in their essence are merely those of so many glorified pawnbrokers.

Murder The Government
I wanna see the constitution burn
Wanna watch the white hourse overturn
Wanna witness some blue blood bleed red
I wanna tar and lynch the kkk
I wanna pull and shoot the nra
I wanna pay the lobbyists to kill themselves
I wanna dose the dea
I wanna join the cia (not really)
Murder the government, murder the government
Murder the government, and then do it again.. yeah
Murder the government, murder the government
Murder the government, and then
Murder the government

The Big THEY
Emerge from the glue
Glue of the false they
What will they say?
What will they think?
Who the hell are they?
Be tactful
Be polite
But by all means be yourself
Once the they validate you
You are a chameleon
The co-dependent
The crowd pleaser
The big they will dress you
Will present you
Will do your writing
Will smile like a beauty contest
Will teach you to be so proper
The big THEY will smother you out

Everything Is Broken
Glue, super glue, Elmer's glue
Duct tape, Scotch tape,
New, Coup deville, Elmer Fudd
strut late, Scotch hop
Industry Velcro, molten steel,
cement and plaster-of-Paris.
Gwyneth Kate Paltrow, bolt-on wheels,
repent and master Pari passu.
Adhesive binding, bonding agents,
sticky, clingy, gummy, tacky,
Cohesive windings, wonder patents,
quickie, swinging, chummy, wacky.
Fixed!
Personality
Some aspire to have it.
Many do,
With charisma too.
Others claim to fame,
Is making attempts...
To establish names,
For themselves.
And they will do that,
In a heartbeat.
No matter who is plagiarized.
They will find a way to steal,
A personality.
The origin of it may not fit.
But for them,
At least they can convince
What has been obtained,
Sticks!
As long as the glue holds.
While traveling either from Dublin...
Or to Chicago!
They will keep it.
Even if it is dismissed!

There Is Something There
There is something there
That holds no guarantee like
Gravity against despair
There is something there
That is not fair
In a world of nature's strong.
I wish it were not so
The things that make us go
The glue I find that makes the planet spin
Comes back to a thing the ancients knew as sin.
Which is why I hope there is something there
Greater than a propensity for despair.
