Yeah, tap into my sharpened senses
I have the courage to speak
I have the courage to think
I am me, today and tomorrow

With courage we engage
Bringing new things to life's stage
We remove excessive baggage
As we try hard to be above average

Don't attempt to break down my defences
I have the courage to encourage
I rage upon those who discourage
For those who clap their hands in pretence
At my courageous expenses give out only offense

Courage has built me a new image
I feel as if I have entered a new age
I stand out now as I have come out of my cage
Making a difference as I get rid of blockages

Courage is great
Courage is the way forward
Courage sets the stage for change
Today is only today because of the courage of others

Coffee Courage

The bitter coffee kicked;
I shook and then I licked
My lips and gave a sigh.

Shattered eyes encouraged,
I nearly had envisaged
Waking up an eye.

Another sip; a jolt –
Not unlike a bolt
Of wattage from the mains.

My sockets under strain,
I tried it once again:
Aha! The light, the searing white –
My God, the bloody pain!

Failing to do so

Face your life and its trials
With a quiet mind and courageous smile
And know that courage is what we need
To perform for us all heoric deeds
So wioth cheer and tons of hope
Go forward and never mope
And burn the little candle's light
To make your surroundings all bright
And all this can be done with faith

The courage to write

I have something inside me
I have something to say
I just want you to listen
I want to be heard
Will no one hear my plea?
Will no one look my way?
I have no courage to speak
But I still have so many things to say
I've no strength
I can't fight back for I don't know how
I can't look back nor forward for i've lost my way
I don't know what to do for i've lost all my senses
I can't tell this to no one for no one will listen
So, all I have in life

What Gives You Courage

Without fear there cannot be courage
Fear drives the unthinkable out of us

What gives you courage when there is none?
What gives you courage to get out of bed?
What gives you courage to drive when you know it's dangerous?
What gives you courage to succeed?
What gives you courage to survive?
What gives you courage to strive?

People have courage to live for their children
People have courage to live for themselves
People have courage to live for hope
People have courage because they believe
People have courage to not give up

Fear is not the essence of life
But a free soul not tamed

Courage is the journey of your heart
Guided by strength

The Blind Side

To what courage do we fall
Lest we not hear our commander’s call

Fool nor folly, we must not judge
To our mortal enemy we hold a grudge

Though doubt clouds our mind
No order shall we decline

Reason gathers dust
Since the day we sold our trust

For God and country we march on
As battle cries invade the dawn

Doves stop singing as bullets cry
No shield upon us, only rusted sky

For honor we must die
And high our flag must fly

Do we wear our silent courage
Where devils claim to forage

Pushing forward through bloody path
Over obstacles of stained wrath

To what courage do we call
Right or wrong, like dominoes we fall

Heroes left and right to cannons burst stall
One hill closer to victory for all

'Forward! forward!'
Rang our fathers' battle-cry.
'Forward! forward!'
Norsemen, be our watchword high!
All that fires the spirit and makes the heart's faith bright,
For that we forward go with might
And faithful fight.

'Forward! forward!'
Whoso loves a home that's free.
'Forward! forward!'
Freedom's course must ever be.
Though it shall be tested by doubt and by defeat,
Who will the losses' count repeat
When vict'ries greet?

'Forward! forward!'
Whoso trusts in Norway's day.
'Forward! forward!'
Whoso goes our fathers' way.
Hid in Northern mountains are spirit-treasures true
They shall, when dawns the morning's blue,

Courage is doing what is right
Without having to be told
Courage is manning up
When you know you've done something wrong
Courage is looking the enemy in the eye
And telling them to just bring it
Courage is having fear
But still staying strong
Courage is facing adversity
But being able to overcome it
Courage is leaving your family behind
To defend the country you love
Courage is being a soldier
In the greatest army in the world
Thank you for this courage
That lets us live free

A Necessity Of Courage For All!

Courage comes of clear knowledge and wisdom;
To successfully love courage is most needed of all;
Even to commit suicide courage is most needed;
Without courage nothing can be achieved bold ever!

Thoughts of clarity and perfection are most essential
For doing acts of straightforwardness and boldness!
Knowledge, experience and wisdom give sureness
And confidence, courage and boldness achieve all here!

Survival of the fittest in the forest are for the courageous
That dominate and rule the jungle life in Nature ever!
Education, job or governance courageous set the example
For others to follow the path to achieve better things ever!

Courage and integrity are wondrous things to see
In your eyes I see them both looking back at me
Courage and integrity before were simply words
Vowels and consonants, sounds that I have heard,
Visions from old battlefields, heroes standing tall,
Yet now I see them in your eyes in writing very small.
Courage and integrity at last I understand
The beauty of the meaning behind the open hand.

Have you got the courage?

Have you got the courage?
To deal with personal baggage

Have you got the courage?
To embark on a new voyage

It is crystalline common knowledge
Many a woman born with courage
Has had piffling or no privileges
To travel through life’s hideous passage
And stand stubbornly by her message

Highs but not the lows, If you one of those
Have you got the courage, to end your marriage?

Have you got the courage, to face your fears?
Or experiment with new ideas

Have you got the courage, to say you love me?
And maturely accept if I glee or flee

It takes courage to speak love again,
When you been burned, beat, and hurt over and over again.

On the silent wings of freedom
Where I ofer myself midst the balancing of the sun
On the winds of celestial seasons
That would carry me on, midst the balance of being one
On the dream of our love eternal

How Do I........?

Love is the power supreme but,
How do i tell a boy that i love him?
The touch of my deepest heart is what he is to me and,
I need the courage to approach him on this love.
My culture doesn't permit it but, it is all about love;
It is for the male to first ask the female for love in this culture but,
He is too lovely to my heart that i need to go forward!
My culture doesn't permit it but, i do love this boy;
I have to be very strong on this love because,
He is all that i want to be with me.
'Just do it', 'Just say it', 'Just approach him';
That's all that goes on up in my mind.
Oh my lover boy!
How can i tell you that i love you?
Give me the strength to say it,
Give me the courage to do it,
Give me the guidance to move forward towards you;
For my heart trembles when i do see you walk by always.
