What NPR did, I'm very proud of, and what NPR stood for is non-racist, non-bigoted, straightforward telling of the news.

And my point was one I think that you'd agree with, which is there's no room in America for a black racist, a Latino racist, or a white racist, or an Asian racist, or a Native American racist. Now, we're either color blind or we're not color blind.

I still find that a kind of stricture of the heart happens when I see any form of bigoted or racist behaviour. I get an actual pain in my heart.

Not Everyone Is Polarized
Not everyone is polarized,
In disguising of their racist and bigoted fits.
It is those with the smallest percentage,
Who declare they represent the interests...
Of the majority of people,
Who resent the attempts made...
To solicit divisions to keep a society,
Split into pieces as if this has benefits.
And those who are adapting,
To have none of this...
With a higher consciousness,
Are the ones perceived to be misfits...
With voices that are silenced,
By those on the left AND right...
Doing their best to protect their dim-witted insights.

Concepts Of Totalitarianism
Quietly swept in unsuspecting steps,
Towards concepts of totalitarianism.
With an autocratic rule set.
Leaving all freedoms deluded and state control.
As mindsets are kept bigoted and racist,
To ensure the onset of divisions...
Patrolled by those uniformed in camouflage.
Quietly swept in unsuspecting steps,
But observed as this feeding is accepted.

I've dropped myself into straightforward character pieces in order to explore that form and reap its values. But you are sort of restricted visually when your first requirement is to tell a fairly straightforward story.

News
The news silent the crow
The news begin to rain
This is the ocean and I
With the flower buds
jump the ground.
Who are there my question
And none to answer bite
And I am telling okey.
The crow no more to see
The news flute the sea.

Racism
Racist prejudice had blinded the minds of mankind,
Thus forgetting the enormous contributions of one another on this earth;
Is it the colour of my skin or the colour of your skin?
Who made them all?
Racist, racist! Racism! !
I grew up in a family which respects all colours,
So i don't see why we should condemn what the Creator created!
And He is the ONLY ONE who knows the secret of these colours.

If I have anything to say against Obama it's not because I'm a racist, it's because I don't like what he's doing as President and anybody should be able to feel that way, but what I find now is that if you say anything against him you're called a racist.

Your Racist Friend
This is where the party ends
I cant stand here listening to you
And your racist friend
I know politics bore you
But I feel like a hypocrite talking to you
And your racist friend
It was the loveliest party that Ive ever attended
If anything was broken Im sure it could be mended
My head cant tolerate this bobbing and pretending
Listen to some bullet-head and the madness that hes saying
This is where the party ends
Ill just sit here wondering how you
Can stand by your racist friend
I know politics bore you
But I feel like a hypocrite talking to you
You and your racist friend
This is where the party ends
I cant stand here listening to you
And your racist friend
I know politics bore you
But I feel like a hypocrite talking to you
And your racist friend
Out from the kitchen to the bedroom to the hallway
Your friend apologizes, he could see it my way
He let the contents of the bottle do the thinking
Cant shake the devils hand and say youre only kidding
This is where the party ends
I cant stand here listening to you
And your racist friend
I know politics bore you
But I feel like a hypocrite talking to you
And your racist friend

Good News
Something to begin with
That's easy said than done
You'll see me rolling home
But I don't understand why
Still there's nothing at all
Time is on my side
But we mustn't let our disappointment show
But I will, and you will go on
All I need is some good news (some good news)
All I need is some good news (just some good news)
To put me on my feet (to put me on my feet)
To put me at my ease (at my ease)
All I need is some good news (all I need is some good news)
All I need is some good news (some good news)
To put me at my ease (to put me at my ease)
All I need is some good news
All I need is some good news (just gimme me some good news)
All I need is some good news (some good news)
To put me at my ease (to put me at my ease)
To put me on my feet (on my feet, on my feet)
All I need is some good news (all I need is some good news)
All I need is some good news (all I need is some good news)
All I need is some good news
All I need is some good news (all I need is good news)
To put me on my ease (to put me at my ease)
To put me on my feet (on my feet, on my feet)

One of the problems with putting Huck Finn into a movie or on the stage is, you always make the white people stupid and racist. The point is, they don't know they're racist.

Yesterday NPR fired me for telling the truth. The truth is that I worry when I am getting on an airplane and see people dressed in garb that identifies them first and foremost as Muslims. This is not a bigoted statement. It is a statement of my feelings, my fears after the terrorist attacks of 9/11 by radical Muslims.

Bad News Beat
Have you heard the news
I lost my baby to another man
I got a bulletin of news
Late breaking story that I dont understand
Should I call her up late
Should I ask her how she really feels
Should I try to make a date
For a time when we can touch
And feel.
She so on fire
Shes my desire.
Ive got the bad news beat
And my reception is loud and clear
Ive got a man in the street
Telling me what I dont want to hear
Ive got an eye in the sky
Taking pictures that I dont want to see
Shes got a brand new guy
Looks like shes never coming back
To me.
She so on fire
Shes my desire.
Ive got an eye in the sky
Ive got a man in the street
Ive got the bad news beat
Ive got the bad news beat

Its Whatever
Its whatever
Its what happens
Whatever
Ooh
Whatever
Just like the birds that
Whistle in the trees
And in the leaves so happily your
My tree and through the storm
You stood strong for me
Kept me warm as can be (warm as can be)
Like a candy to an apple oh
We go together
Your so sweet to me ( oh so sweet)
I can say that I do believe
This is destiny
It keeps calling me
Now its me and you
You and me
And its whatever
Whatever you want it to be
Im telling you (Im telling you)
If its up to me whatever is whatever
Is whatever with you and me ( whatever is whatever)
Just like a breeze
In the middle of a summer eve
And you come through you comfort me
If Im a drink your
My lemon sgueeze
Oh youve got flava boy
You go good with
Me so boy dont play or tease me
Ooh keep me together
You got what I need
Now its getting late
Its after three
So quit your stalling
My body calling
Now its me and you
And you and me
And its whatever
Whatever you want it to be
Im telling you(Im telling you)
If its up to me whatever is whatever
As long as its you and me
Whatever is whatever
Its whatever
Its your world
I put that on everything
Its your world
Your world ooh
Now its me and you
You and me
And its whatever
You want it to be
Im telling you
If its up to me
Whatever is whateva
Whatever is whateva

“bob Was Right”
Bob gave the world good advice,
Until grave illness struck him down
Although the lyrics were imprecise
Bob sang;
“Gonna chase those crazy baldheads outta town”
Some may not understand this line
Others may dance instead of listen
Bob knew;
White racist/bigoted politicos’ had to go,
Because Jamaicans refused annexation
History repeats in the world today
With new “Baldheads” coming ‘round,
To promise much n’ then betray
“Gotta chase these crazy baldheads outta town”
“Only peace brings all things to light”
Now this troubled world knows;
“Bob was right”
