How far the existence of the Academy has influenced French literature, either for good or for evil, is an extremely dubious question.

What has influenced my life more than any other single thing has been my stammer. Had I not stammered I would probably... have gone to Cambridge as my brothers did, perhaps have become a don and every now and then published a dreary book about French literature.

Song of the Edinburgh Academician
If ony here has got an ear,
He'd better tak’ a haud o’ me,
Or I'll begin, wi’ roarin’ din,
To cheer our old Academy.
Dear old Academy,
Queer old Academy,
A merry lot we were, I wot,
When at the old Academy.
There's some may think me crouse wi’ drink,
And some may think it mad o’ me,
But ither some will gladly come
And cheer our old Academy.
Some set their hopes on Kings and Popes,
But, o’ the sons of Adam, he
Was first, without the smallest doubt,
That built the first Academy.
Let Pedants seek for scraps of Greek,
Their lingo to Macadamize;
Gie me the sense, without pretence,
That comes o’ Scots Academies.
Let scholars all, both grit and small,
Of Learning mourn the sad demise;
That's as they think, but we will drink
Good luck to Scots Academies.

Consceince (Good v Evil)
Good and Evil posses my mind
I'm influenced by these versatile sides
Good and evil both stand equal
A hazardous mix that can be lethal
Doing good doesn't mean you succeed
If it fails to provide your needs
I want Gods forgiveness so I pray and repent
But that wont help to pay the bills and rent
Cant get a decent job, once you being in the cage
And you cant raise a family off minimum wage
I want to do good but that wont meet my expense
So bad is the voice that is making more sense
Is this right or am I just misunderstood
The good is looking bad and the bad is looking good

It Bothered Me
I saw a surveillance video
From a camera mounted on a public bus;
Two guys were having an augment,
But only one really wanted to fuss.
The evil guy continued to fuss.
He didn’t even know the good guys name;
He fussed and fussed and made fun,
To him it was like a game.
The good guy looked as if he wanted to leave,
That he could not believe this day;
But when he stood, to exit the bus.
The evil guy stood in his way.
The evil guy took out a knife;
That was concealed in his pocket.
All the passengers ran off the bus;
So fast, just like a rocket.
The evil guy stabbed and stabbed again
Till the good guy was on the floor.
Then he turned with haste, not looking back;
And quickly went out the door.
I couldn’t sleep for nights to come;
That video really bothered me,
I didn’t understand how the evil guy
Could attack a stranger so brutality.
That video extremely bothered me,
It made my heart so sad.
The evil guy didn’t even know the man;
If he was a husband, brother or dad.
Yes, the good guy did survive,
It was only by God’s grace.
I wonder why no one helped;
Just ran at such fast pace.
And so I ask the question today,
Not just to you, also to me.
If we were on that bus, that day
Would we had helped, or turned to flee?

Dr. Evil
Evil, evil is his one and only name
Evil, in his mind there is no other game!
When your name is Evil, that is good or so you think,
but you're so very wrong.
It's evil!
But being wrong is right, so then you're good again,
wich is the evilest thing of all...
Do you find his sudden ways, invite you? does he excite you?
If his contradictions should atract you, should he distract you?
Heaven help you then...
You're finished, it's the end...
There'll be no retrieval...
From the evil...
The evil,
he will
do.
He's evil,
he's Doctor Evil.
His name is Evil.

To begin with myself, then, the utterances of men concerning me will differ widely, since in passing judgment almost every one is influenced not so much by truth as by preference, and good and evil report alike know no bounds.
ME, In Your Eyes
Am I evil? Yes, I am.
I am the one can't be trusted,
I am the one who needs to be busted,
I am the one who causes trouble,
I am the one who has face that is doubled,
Am I evil? Yes, I am.
Am I evil? Yes, I am.
I always plan cunningly,
I always act deceivingly,
I always make you suffer,
I always deserve to face what's tougher,
Am I evil? Yes, I am.
Am I evil? Yes, I am.
I am the one who always ashames you,
I am the one who lacks satisfying you,
I am the one who struggles to be who,
I am the one who is lost in thou,
Am I evil? Yes, I am.
Am I evil? Yes, I am.
I never see good in you,
I never appreciate what you do,
I could never act as you want me to,
I am not as good as you want me to,
Am I evil? Yes, I am.
Am I evil? Yes, I am.
I never bless,
I make you live this freaking mess,
This is the only thing to confess,
I am evil in your pretty eyes…

In The Garb Of Good
You can easily
Do away with evil
When it comes to you
In the form of an evil
But it is not easy to
Do away with evil
When it comes to you
In the form of good
When it comes to you
In the garb of something good
And you can not recognized
Good and bad or evil
As evil disguised as good
First make yourself free from
Attachment of any kind
And be cautious always
With alert and full-mind.

Forthright Action Knocksout Evil
What evil would he hatch?
As bad the the pirate Edward Thatch!
Even wears a sinister eye patch!
Abominable actions by the batch!
Would evil the good catch?
Would evil to good attach?
Would evil away the good latch?
Final victory by good did snatch!
Good triumphed without even a scratch!
All in this professional wrestling match!

Good one's smile evil cry
Evil live
Innocent die
On their flesh
Evil survive
Without them
They will also die
It is an irony
Evil survive
Sinless perish
Good keep on
Fighting
Knowing very well
One day they shall die
Evil keep smiling
Forgetting
When they die
To god they shall
Have to reply
Their place is in
Hell or heaven
Deeds they have done
Shall decide
God punishes evil
Good sent to heaven
Evil to hell
In the end
One thing is certain
Good one’s smile
Evil cry

Bad For Good
BAD FOR GOOD
Music: Rudolf Schenker
Lyrics: Klaus Meine, Dieter Dierks
Bad for good
She tells it like it is
The french word of a kiss
She's so bad for good to me
She's so bad for good
She wants more of this
You can feel it with a kiss
She's as bad as she can be
The thoughts in my head
Where would they be going ?
Seems to me
It's a tough call for one to imagine
They're saying they do when I win
I look in the mirror
Reflect from the ceiling
She wears next to nothin
Next to nothin but only
A touch of perfume on her skin, oh yeeeaaaahhhhh
She's so bad for good
She tells it like it is
The french word of a kiss
She's so bad for good to me
She's so bad for good
She wants more of this
You can feel it with a kiss
She's as bad as she can be
She's so bad for good
She tells it like it is
The french word of a kiss
She's so bad for good to me
She's so bad for good
She wants more of this
You can feel it with a kiss
She's as bad as she can be
If those were my fingers
What would they be doing
Is pouring along
From head to toe like a stranger
To be once again lost and found...yeeeaaaahhhhh
She's so bad for good
She tells it like it is
The french word of a kiss
She's so bad for good to me
She's so bad for good
She wants more of this
You can feel it with a kiss
She's as bad as she can be
She's so bad for good
She's so bad for good
She's so bad for good
She's so bad for good
She's so bad for good
She's so bad for good
She's so bad for good
She's so bad for good
Bad for good
Bad for good

G W
G W who spoke of good and evil just a few years ago
Those he refer to as evil do them he even know
Or has he even seen them and to them said hello?
At the strangeness of his utterings my wonder only grow.
He tells us he's a man of God is he God's Earthly judge
And is it's God's idea that against those he does not know that he should nurse a grudge
But how many innocents in Iraq because of him have died
Because of good and evil and Nationalistic pride.
We've been told of the crimes of Saddam but he is now on trial
For crimes against humanity his life's not been worth-while
But is G W any better that question I must ask
Though in a free and mighty Nation in his glory he does bask.
In Afghanistan and Iraq mothers weep for their dead
They have reason to dislike G W who back a few years said
We are good and you are evil words coming from one who commands such great power
Only spread the weeds of mistrust that stifle the peace flower.

NArratiVe: one
The clock is frozen.
Everything is.
The only movement in the boy's room is the
12: 00
--
12: 00
--
12: 00
--
on his VCR.
'Now is a good time for reflection'
he says.
In reality, it's no different than any other night.
He picks up his pen.
and
he writes.
he scribes his soul.
he pens his existence.
he embodies himself in literature.

Good and evil-contemplation
To live is to die, to die is to live
Pure is impure and impure is pure
Good is evil while evil is good
Or is it?
In the hearts of men lie both good and evil
The two coexist...some become good others become evil
There is no good without evil,
As there is no evil without good...
