A multitude of laws in a country is like a great number of physicians, a sign of weakness and malady.

When Laws Are A Crime Against Humanity
Is it always lawful to follow every letter of the law?
Is it ever lawful to deliberately break a nation's law?
What if laws themselves are a crime against humanity?
Some say may my country ever be right but my country
right or wrong this sentiment will accept support tyranny.
I the Carl Schurz version do advocate firmly resolutely
'My country, right or wrong; if right, to be kept right;
and if wrong, to be set right.' Is a moral conscience fight.
To slaves who tremble fearfully obey unjust laws
I say many famous past so called great civilizations;
passed laws making it legal to own fellow human beings
live stock to be bought sold beaten killed at whim of owners;
to aid free slaves help in any way was against grim cruel laws
to be caught in such attempts meant torture death sentences;
yet the right of all human beings to religious personal freedoms is
a sacred indelible right great civilizations uphold high principles.

Hanging By A Thread
Theres a kind of emptiness that can fill you
Theres a kind of hunger that can eat you up
Theres a cold and darker side of the moonlight
And theres a lonely side of love
[chorus]
With you here
Baby I am strong
No sign of weakness
With you gone
Baby I am hanging by a thread
Theres a certain kind of pain that can numb you
Theres a type of freedom that can tie you down
Sometimes the unexplained can define you
And sometimes the silence is the only sound
[chorus]
With you here
Baby I am strong
No sign of weakness
With you gone
Baby I am hanging by a thread
With you here
Baby I am strong
No sign of weakness
With you gone
Baby I am hanging by a thread

I learned this, at least, by my experiment; that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. He will put some things behind, will pass an invisible boundary; new, universal, and more liberal laws will begin to establish themselves around and within him; or the old laws be expanded, and interpreted in his favor in a more liberal sense, and he will live with the license of a higher order of beings. In proportion as he simplifies his life, the laws of the universe will appear less complex, and solitude will not be solitude, nor poverty poverty, nor weakness weakness. If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.

But black people fall for that same argument, and they go around talking about law breakers. We did not make the laws in this country. We are neither morally nor legally confined to those laws. Those laws that keep them up, keep us down.

Today I Shall Give You Congress
this is what congress all about
lawmakers
lawbreakers
about 250 of them and by their own laws
they may increase their
number and their salaries and their junket trips abroad
with their families and personal staff
we feed them
we pamper them
and they give us laws
to make us poorer
and more miserable
they are all learned men
and we adore them
at the end we make them our honorable oppressors
and to honor them some more
we kiss their hands
and for what they say
we listen
and applaud them
i suggest we abolish them and put an end
to what must not be
but you say on some justifications
somewhere in our country
we need a grand edifice
an institution
at least, something nice to see
something to believe and dream
and always at our expense
so we always keep them

My Composer
My composer is absent from the words
Affecting with pride, managing to dine.
Many sides force me to reconsider the prize,
A pretty sign of a number that looks
Like a great character, of forces and laws.
My sandwich is full, and my cups and plates
Shall break, to accuse me is to want me.
Let them still assert the extra blessing
So that when I die my likenesses thrive.
The music of the soul carries weight
And melody enough to convict the felons.
This dying is a living, this living is us,
When we astutely gather the treasures.

You've got to sign
(You, you, you'd better sign it)
My contract on love

(You, you, you'd better sign it)
That you'll never do anything
To ever make us part
(Sign it)
(Sign it)
(Sign it)
(Sign it)
Yeah, I know it may seem strange to you
Yeah, but I've lost a love so many times before
Yeah, and now that I know the score
No one's gonna hurt me no more
And I'm takin' all my chances with romances
Yeah
(Sign it)
(Sign it)
(Sign it)
(Sign it)
So just sign
(You, you, you'd better sign it)
Right here on this dotted line
(You, you, you'd better sign it)
Where it says you'll be mine, all mine
(You, you, you'd better sign it)
Until the end of time
(Sign it)
(Sign it)
(Sign it)
(Sign it)
So come on, come on, come on, and
Sign, yeah
(Baby, baby, sign my contract on love)

Sign, right here on this line
(Baby, baby, sign my contract on love)
Yeah
(Sign it)

We did not own this country (in answer to Mathews Phosa)
We did not own this country
the Lord gave it to our ancestors
and when they stepped ashore here,
hordes came from eMbo out of the north
and the country also did not belong to them.
Let you see us as intruders,
you yourself are intruders,
a multitude of people out of the tribes
of Zulu, Xhosa, Swazi en Pondo
came from the big lakes under leadership
of chief Dklamini and later chief Nguni.
Our ancestors made a sacred covenant with God
to be able to survive
and still this relationship is held high
as forever God remains the same
and the people that now governs
do not represent me, are proclaiming laws
that are oppressing my Afrikaner people and me,
making me a third rate citizen
and I did not surrender this country
even less have left it
or have neglected any civil duties
and I am waiting on the salvation
coming out of the hand
of the almighty God.

This goes out to you, you, my number one (number one, number one)
I won't stop until I see you, suga
You know who you are
This is for my number one, number one (I see you)
So many shows, swear wherever I go I'm gonna keep on lookin'
Lookin' for my number one, number one (Oh)
This goes out to you baby
Wherever you are (my only one)
Just know that you're mine (number one, number one)
Are you there?
I can't hear you
On the road doin' shows
Girl I can't get you off my mind
All around the world
So many faces
All these places
Girl I just need one
My number one
This is for you, you, my number one

As Expected
A name and a number,
Great perseverance!
Elite,
In signs,
To torment me! !
In weakness,
With insults,
In hardship,
With perseverance,
In distress,
To the abode;
Revealing!
Taken up,
Globe, lobe, probe, strobe, robe! !
The importance of the study,
But, it should be as expected.

Divorced from Dumb Reality - Number Lesson on Numb Pointless Love
DIVORCED FROM DUMB REALITY
My fun begun with number one,
swore to be true to number two,
happy to be with number three,
then to adore fair number four.
No more alive is number five,
mix stones and sticks Styx number six,
who’s in heaven, number seven?
its now too late for number eight.
Another line for number nine,
begin again with number ten.

My fun begun with number one,
swore to be true to number two,
happy to be with number three,
then to adore sweet number four.
No more alive is number five,
beset by tics was number six,
she’s in heaven, number seven,
its now too late for number eight.
Another line for number nine,
begin again for number ten.
