The one who cannot restrain their anger will wish undone, what their temper and irritation prompted them to do.

Sonnet: On Anger
Remember Man that Anger is futile!
Restrain your temper bad when ‘fumes’ arise;
Apologize if guilty, in high style,
And write your Anger off or play it nice.
Mere counting helps to dissipate Anger;
But slamming doors and raving mad aren’t right;
Poetry puts the ‘plane’ into hanger!
When Anger comes, Man loses his insight.
The more you write, the stinging tone gets less;
The balls you smash will fall away off-court;
Painting, cartooning help Anger harness;
Just hold your temper making it your forte!
An action rash in angry mood too fails;
When calm returns, a better sense prevails.

My Anger is Angry
My anger is angry.
Its pain.
Its frustration.
Its irritation.
My anger is angry.
My anger is confusion.
My anger is past, present and future.
My anger's disappointment.
My anger builds
up and explodes
like thunder on
a stormy day.
Its fiery red.
Its envy.
Its greed.
Its temptation.
My anger's TOO angry.
Won't you please help me stop?
I'm a blazing volcano
that's ready to pop.

New Anger
New anger came across the dull, brown yard
New anger trotted up the stone steps
New anger rang the bell
Hello new anger
I can come out to play
But I might not be the friend you’re hoping for
I might become undone
Upset
And you will wish you had not asked
Me to be your friend
New anger you had better stay away
Go home new anger
Loneliness is better than remorse

My Lord and My God!
Restrain your anger, God;
The world today abounds in sin;
Man’s master is just money;
People have forgotten the lord.
Restrain your fury, God;
The sin of Sodom is rampant;
Definition of marriage is at stake;
Most nations do not fear the lord.
Restrain your wrath, O God;
The sin of Gomorrah persists;
Most indulge in such newer sins;
Man ignores his conscience.
Restrain your rage, O God;
The sanctity of sex is lost;
They murder babies within wombs;
’Tis time the world received your rod!

Irritation Is Not The Best Feeling To Begin A Poem With
IRRITATION IS NOT THE BEST FEELING TO BEGIN A POEM WITH
Irritation is not the best Feeling to begin a poem with
But the great heat, the great humidity
The slowness of my mind on Motzei Shabbat
The many errands that must be done tomorrow
The inability to begin true work,
The news of another anti- Semitic utterance by the Nobel Prize winner Gunter Grass
Above all the worry over the health of a family member
All these irritate and disturb-
And I can at best write a few plain lines
Begin to work
To make myself feel better
But not really influence what is outside myself-
And too the irritation that my poem and my words
Will reach a few at best
While the mendacious former Waffen SS member's poem
Has already made its hateful way to headlines in the world-
Oh it is wonderful to be an obscure nothing in writing
When it is only my own name and reputation which are involved,
But when it means I cannot really help the people I care about
This irritation this frustration anger so-
Oh how I just pray that my loved one
Will be after the doctor's visit
Better tonight.

Sonnet-Restrain me Lord...
Restrain me Lord from seeking revenge first;
Oh, let me pray instead for all my foes;
Restrain me Lord from calling them accursed;
Oh, let me forgive them who caused my woes.
Restrain me Lord from rash judgement of all;
Let man not judge his brethren in wrong ways;
Restrain me Lord from ignoring thy call;
Oh, let me spend aright my earthly days.
Restrain me Lord from doing evil things;
Oh, let me nurture virtues and do good;
Restrain me Lord from Satanic likings;
Oh, give me grace to take part in thy food.
Restrain me Lord from doing mortal sins,
Of soul; I neither can destain or rinse.

A Character
How often do I wish I were
What people call a character;
A ripe and cherubic old chappie
Who lives to make his fellows happy;
With in his eyes a merry twinkle,
And round his lips a laughing wrinkle;
Who radiating hope and cheer
Grows kindlier with every year.
For this ideal let me strive,
And keep the lad in me alive;
Nor argument nor anger know,
But my own way serenly go;
The woes of men to understand,
Yet walk with humour hand in hand;
To love each day and wonder why
Folks are not so jocund as I.
So be you simple, decent, kind,
With gentle heart and quiet mind;
And if to righteous anger stung,
Restrain your temper and your toungue.
Let thought for others be your guide,
And patience triumph over pride . . .
With charity for those who err,
Live life so folks may say you were--
God bless your heart!--A Character.

D-anger
“D” is synonymous with smile
So it brings fragrance meanwhile
Anger is altogether different in nature
It brings disaster for certain and sure
Now to smile with anger is different concept
As mother scolds child when excessively wept
Or gets tough with family members when out of control
Such (d) anger is certainly a beautiful call
Even teachers preset rudely to students
It is not aimed at discouraging them or making any dent
It is simply meant to shape their personality
Test them to time and build fine quality
Danger spells about lurking misfortune around
Its presence is unnoticed and never found
Anger may reveal the state of total frustration
Some times out of tune or sometimes with complete relation
So many great sages and saints have dwelt at great length
Fire may burn dead body but anger may burn your live strength
You will loose common sense and disembark
People may compare your language as that of dog’s bark
Even if you are established as rude person with short temper
Still people will forgive you and not mind out burst or anger
As at heart you are very kind and care for their well being
So were the benevolent rulers praised as noble king?
If you can conquer over anger with little restrain
That will be considered as land mark and gain
As person is about to loose whole of his reputation
Only on account of being good but inconsiderate in relation

Anger.... what does it mean to me?
Anger isn't just a feeling, an emotion to detain. Anger is an action that desires the true intentions to burst forth from their towers and let be to roam about for it's own destiny. An action so precise that it with holds the power of concept of it's own imagination to soar. An action so horrid that an army has to refrian it's actions to stop before and 'accident' must occur. But is it an accident? If you purposely try to harm the uninnocent, and morely to the innocent, is it still just an accident? There are two sides to this question..................
Yes, because anger can build up for almost an entire life but one day it will break free and sometimes at the wrong person atthe wrong time in front of the wrong people. These accidents can come out completely wrong and then you are left ashamed and wit-minded. Whomever pushes the buttoms of a very ppeaceful person is only asking for trouble so therefore, no one expects any one to sit in a corner and take all of the stress with out acting out. It is just unsafe and unhealthy to the person itself!
And no it is not an accident because most people can control their temper, it just depends on te person and the moment it takes place in and the amount of anger excluded. The human temper is short, but once you go that short distance, you can sometimes hold out for awile longer. And once you notice that your temper level is getting too high, you tend to act on it by doing something regretful towards either the person causing the anger or the wrong person in general.
So anger is just more than that of an emothion, it is a feeling and an action. It only goes soul deep.......

Prayer Against Anger
• Spirit of anger, hear the Word of the Lord my God come out of me.
I raise the standard of the blood of Jesus against you, in the name of
Jesus.
• Lord God, I surrender my emotions unto Your control. Put anger far
away from me, in the name of Jesus.
• My Lord and my God, give me the grace to be long-suffering and
slow to anger. Give me the forgiving spirit to be able to tolerate
others, in the name of Jesus.
• My Lord and my God, change my behavior to embrace tenderhearted
feelings, kindness, a gentle mind, and patience. Give me the power
to endure all that comes my way with a different temperament, in
the name of Jesus.
• My Lord and my God, give me the grace to expect nothing from
people and depend on You as the Great Provider. Continue to direct
and revive me, in the name of Jesus.
• My Lord and my God, give me the eye to see people as You see them;
I pray I will not label anyone in a way You have not labeled them.
You will label me as the child of the Most High God, in the name of
Jesus.
• My Lord and my God, I come against everything that will cause me
to be angry, in the name of Jesus.
• My Lord and my God, calm me down in any stressful situation that
I find myself in. Restore me at once for Your glory, and let it be well
with me, in the name of Jesus.
50 ENOCH O. AKANJI
• All those things that lower my tolerance level like anxiety, sadness,
fear, stress, irritation, disappointment, worry, embarrassment,
jealousy, hurt, guilt, pain will be things of the past. Give me the
grace be able to tolerate, in the name of Jesus.
• My Lord and my God, I cannot do without You, and I have no
power of my own. Help me and continue to uphold me with Your
mighty hand, in the name of Jesus.
• My Lord and my God, every irrational perception of the truth in my
life, I come against it, in the name of Jesus.
• Give me the grace, my God, not to fail You and myself; I overcome
anger, in the name of Jesus.
• Give me the grace to see anger as a weapon of destruction; I overcome
anger, in the name of Jesus.
• Give me the grace to see anger as a total failure; I overcome anger, in
the name of Jesus.
• Give me the grace to stop and control anger totally; I overcome
anger, in the name of Jesus.
• I pray, instead of being angry, I will act in love, in the name of
Jesus.
• My Lord and my God, give me the grace to control my anger, calm
my nerves, cool my temper, and bury my wrath, in the name of
Jesus.
• My Lord and my God, give me the spirit of forgiveness as an antidote
for bitterness, wrath, and anger, in the name of Jesus.
• My Lord and my God, keep me away from anger, the mother of
destruction and failure, in the name of Jesus.
• My Lord and my God, help me, and take away anger from my life,
in the name of Jesus.
• The end of anger has come in my life, and I am free forever in Jesus’s
name, I pray with thanksgiving. Amen.

Anger fills my heart and soul
Anger fills my heart and soul
Anger takes a mighty toll
Anger lessens but can never leave
Anger you hope to never receive,
Anger stays forever within
Anger acts with the might of all sin
Anger is deadly to all around
Anger gets mad at the thought of sound
Anger is the thoughts in my head
Anger that’s mine all should dread
Anger for me is different from you
Anger you see tells me what to do
Anger will sit and whisper in my ear
Anger he sits and tells me all that you fear,
Anger…
He is here
He’s here to stay
Anger is the hole
In which we lay
Anger is
And Anger will
Always be with us
He is in me, and he is in you
He can make you do
What he wants you to
Anger will make you
Make you cry
Anger can make you
Want to die
Anger can make you
Go insane
Anger….. ... A blood filled rain
No more anger
No more…..
Walk to the bright light
Shinning through that door…
Not knowing what’s in store
But even then
Anger lives on
But you… nevermore

Prompted By Debate
Often those who say they mean well,
Do so.
When noticeably convenient,
After deeds undone but promised and wished...
Are discovered to be among the missing.
And those good intentions would be better spent,
If they had been from the beginning...
Genuinely done.
And not prompted by debate.

My Anger
My anger wants to kill.
My anger wants to spill.
My anger wants to smash a wall.
My anger wants to make someone feel small.
My anger makes me carve my skin.
My anger is locked up within.
My anger is fierce and fatal.
My anger isn't stable.
When my anger is out stay away.
Because my anger destroys everything in its way.

Sad boy sam
I believe I got a temper
Everytime you read my mind
I just feel defenseless
So black and blind
Never really had this tension
Trying to restrain myself
Never payed attention
Tied up like hell
Oh but it can never be the same
You should know better now
We've been going over this again just like before
I'll be leaving all the things behind

4.10 Anger
Anger makes a dull man witty,
But keeps him poor in eternity,
A man shrinks when he is angry,
And grows in tranquil serenity.
When anger flow in the body,
You lose your temper - your folly,
When distempered - a tragedy,
You lose reason - a calamity.
Anger at lies last in infinity,
Anger at truth is momentary,
Speech - when you are angry,
Will but make you feel sorry.
It is not worth being angry,
And any threat is a folly,
Reason is your tool mighty,
Think of consequences finally.
Anger causes resentment only,
A headache and tension clearly,
Forgiveness propels growth surely,
With laughter and lightness totally.

To Ensure Someone's Irritation
For all of those things,
Going neglected...
That can be easily corrected,
IF that task was accepted...
As a necessity to see through with a doing,
There'd be less of a preference for many to choose...
An excessive complaining instead.
Done to do to ensure someone's irritation.
And it is that irritation that is sought,
To achieve the effective goal set by those...
Seeking to get attention.
