The families of Aboriginals who have died in custody in NSW will suffer again because of these white lies.

Police brutality..

Beat them not in the lock up,
Beat them not in the custody,
Punch them not in the stomach,
smash them not on the head.

Beat them not for they are colored,
beat them not for they are feared,
abuse them not as they are deprived,
corner them not as they seem to be suspicious.

Brutality at police custody,
is illegally approved offense.
Hundreds died and thousand live,
with the damages caused in custody.
Who can be charged for the invisible wounds,
in the soft abdomen and hard skull?

Hard core criminals are hard to deal,
but why the 'suspect' has to be punished,
before the judgement?
Do not beat them in the lock up,
and inflict life long injury to check up.

Reason for writing this poem.

Police Brutality is rampant in many parts of the world. The internal injuries caused during such atrocities, have made many human almost invalid and forced them to suffer in silence. The law should be passed to protect and help the victims at least financially, if the abuse is proven.

Three thousand people died at ground zero. Their families are entitled to a little bit of respect, to respect the memory of those poor people that died there. And how about the families of all those soldiers that died in the two ensuing wars? Aren't they entitled to a little bit of respect - the kids, the wives, the parents?

In the 5 years, well over 60,000 American families have been broken apart by the absence of insurance because the only way for parents to get treatment for their children is to turn the custody of those children over to the State.

Snow White: Sonnet 3

Snow White and the dwarfs
Did a line of Sugar Boogers
While sitting in the forest
Which was full of Candy Sugars
Snow White took an apple
Which was filled with Gin
She drank it down with Snow filled Snapple
And fell on a big, fat pin
This is why Snow White lies
Under the Big C
From now on in the sky she flies
Over the Mojo key
Snow White died in vain
Because she did a lot of Cocaine

Born with Pride

Born with pride
When she was born,
She never cried
Born with dreams
Pretty eyes open wide

Born without tears
No lies to seek or hide
Born without fears,
On her beautiful little mind

Born to live
to love to give
To suffer to loose
Everything

Born with pride
Died in vain
Agony and pain
Hurt and shame

The lady had died
Her baby was born
With no pride
And with nothing
On his side

What is death means to me

What is it like when I’ve died?
Just died and nothing would come
No more prides
No more crimes
No more plights
No more times
No more families
No more memories
No more availability
No more worries
No more eats
No more drinks
No more greeds
No more thinks
No more wake
No more sleeps
No more fakes
No more creeps
Just blacked out
And out
Out to nowhere
But beware
It’s not the end yet
You bet

Red Lips, Blue Eyes, Little White Lies

(kostas/brent moyer)
Red lips, blue eyes and little white lies
Oh darlin Im a fool for you
Hey darlin why cant you can be true
Red lips, blue eyes and sweet disguise
Oh darlin the things you put me through
Your little white lies are breaking my heart in two
You come around and tell me that you love me so
You take a little loving then you say you gotta go
I know hes waiting for you on the other side of town
Well Im a fool to love you baby cause I know youre messing around
Red lips, blue eyes and little white lies
Oh darlin why cant you be true
Im crazy to love you baby you know I do, yeah
Sooner or later youll have to face the truth
Little white lies will catch up with you
With nowhere to run and no where to hide
And no one to love you there by your side
Red lips, blue eyes and little white lies
Oh darlin the things you put me through
But your little white lies are gonna catch up with you
Oh your little white lies are gonna catch up with you
Baby your little white lies are gonna catch up with you

White Comedy

I waz whitemailed
By a white witch,
Wid white magic
An white lies,
Branded by a white sheep
I slaved as a whitesmith
Near a white spot
Where I suffered whitewater fever.
Whitelisted as a whiteleg
I waz in de white book
As a master of white art,
It waz like white death.

People called me white jack
Some hailed me as a white wog,
So I joined de white watch
Trained as a white guard
Lived off the white economy.
Caught and beaten by de whiteshirts
I waz condemned to a white mass,
Don't worry,
I shall be writing to de Black House.

Drinkin' Dark Whiskey

Drinkin' dark whiskey
Tellin' white lies
One leads to another
On a Saturday night
Don't ya cross your heart
Unless you hope to die
Drinkin' dark whiskey
Tellin' white lies
Well, the first drop burns
But the second one goes down smooth
Then that old black label
Gets a hold of you
It loosens your tongue
But it never tells the truth
Drinkin' dark whiskey
Tellin' white lies
One leads to another
On a Saturday night
Don't ya cross your heart
Unless you hope to die
Drinkin' dark whiskey
Tellin' white lies
When the bottle starts talkin'
Be careful what he might say
He talks in the dark
Like he never would in the day
Then he gets in trouble
Just as soon as he gets away
Drinkin' dark whiskey
Tellin' white lies
One leads to another
On a Saturday night
Don't ya cross your heart
Unless you hope to die
Drinkin' dark whiskey
Tellin' white lies
Well a little white lie
Don't mean anyone no good
When it's makin' the rounds
All over the neighborhood
Next thing you know
You're all misunderstood
When you're...
Drinkin' dark whiskey
Tellin' white lies
One leads to another
On a Saturday night
Don't ya cross your heart
Unless you hope to die
Drinkin' dark whiskey
Tellin' white lies
Drinkin' dark whiskey
Tellin' white lies..

Mariposa

Butterflies are white and blue
In this field we wander through.
Suffer me to take your hand.
Death comes in a day or two.

All the things we ever knew
Will be ashes in that hour,
Mark the transient butterfly,
How he hangs upon the flower.

Suffer me to take your hand.
Suffer me to cherish you
Till the dawn is in the sky.
Whether I be false or true,
Death comes in a day or two.

Sonnet Of The Street

The main street where families feud now awaits
while one crew proceeds to meet the other
one seeks revenge, no matter what it takes
they want to see blood, to see them suffer
as both families come closer together
the street holds pride from ancestors with heart
fight is all you have you can't do better
they meet half way to grow further apart
on a battlefield with swords of the past
where gun shots shoot futures of the present
birthdays of the dead come and go so fast
the streets empty and the moon is a crescent
many sons lie far from fathers six feet,
buried with insects. Lets go to the street.

An Island War Tragedy!

Their hero is no more but then,
He is alive in every heart
And mind, for whom he fought so well,
Until he ultimately fell
To bullets sprayed from ruthless guns,
That brought the valiant man to earth.

The land is freed from ‘tigers’ now?
A mighty myth was rendered false;
The landscape lies in ruins much;
‘The people are refugees, ’ ‘Oh! ’
They died by thousands, all in vain;
Most families in tents just live.

Denied of equal rights for long,
The people hum a plaintive song
Of sufferings and unfairness,
Unleashed upon them by brethren.
Their trauma is too great to tell;
Their island life is now like hell.

They razed all buildings to the ground;
Their ravished women look like ghosts;
The mutilated ones too die,
For want of proper treatment fast.
Has God abandoned them also?
They have been victims of all crimes!

The war is over but so what?
Their fate lies hanging in peril;
Their shattered dreams of wealth and health
Have gone awaste in dogged lives;
Their families are dejected;
They wonder why they are alive!

The world stayed watching them suffer!
Their neighbors were insensitive;
A rosy world has turned blood-red!
Their future is in smithereens!
Where is the God who had made them?
Should wars cause wounds that cannot heal?

What tragedy had struck their isle!
Their land was like a paradise;
But things have gone all awry now;
They have no water, food to take;
Like cattle driven to their pens,
Their victors treat them worse than beasts!

Could not the genocide been stopped?
Is there not ways to avoid wars?
Innocent men, women, children,
Fall prey to perpetrators’ guns!
The world is silent while more die
Of diseases and lack of care!

The people need a soothing touch!
Let nations rush to help these souls;
They had not slept for days on end;
Their ears are deaf by blasts of bombs!
If human love is supreme, then,
Let nations hurry up to help!

All People...

the people who were killed
at Pearl Harbor, at Hiroshima,
in the Nazi death camps,
in Vietnam, in Iraq, in Afghanistan....

on 9/11....
were all people,
many with families, all with dreams
of living and loving....

it is both tragic and sad
how they died, and that they died....

it is also a sad truth
that all the killing in the world
wont bring them back,
and will never redeem what happened....

Half Mass

american soldiers were slaughtered
on a military base today.
by an arab american officer
who held everyone at bay.

and for these departed soldiers
all of america will pray.
but a question was put to me
and i was'nt sure just what to say.

if they are flying the american flag
at half mass for those who died today
what about the ones who've given their lives
to protect the american way?

why should we fly the flag at half mass
just for those who died at FORT HOOD.
it should be for all soldiers
and they would argue if they could.

keep our flags at half mass for all
that put their lives at stake.
there will be many more that we will honor
and their families at their wakes.

we should also put a yellow ribbon
on our red, white, and blue
until our soldiers come home
and this fighting is finally through.

I Suffer The Night

I suffer the night
When it's time to face my sadness
And all I can do is cry

I suffer the night
When I struggle to find rest
Knowing in the morning I must rise

I suffer the night
When alone in the darkness
I wonder why I am alive

I suffer the night
When I succumb to blackness
And finally stop asking why

I suffer the night
As it battles my mind
And my spirit slowly dying

I suffer the night
As I reach for the light
And pray that my death be kind

The Day I Died

The air was close, but it would not rain
The day I died.
And smog enshrouded Gotham town
The day I died..

I should have stayed in Oceanside
The day I died.
Instead of a hellish subway ride
The day I died.

It started with a stabbing pain
The day I died.
Then waves of nausea deep inside
The day I died.

I fell to earth, I could not breathe
The day I died.
Co workers rushing to my side
The day I died.

Sirens scream on distant streets
The day I died.
bringing hosts of E.M.T.’s
The day I died..

Too late for me, this proud heart fails
The day I died.
I thought” This is the last of Earth”
The day I died.

What will you Remember

As the red white and blue wave through the air on Memorial Day what will you remember. Will you remember just the towers falling on September 11,2001 and all the hundreds of lives lost but as you remember them don’t forget four thousand plus coffins that has come home with the red white and blue draped upon all in the name of justice. Will you remember the hundreds of families in America that has been torn apart because of September 11 and if you do don’t forget there are just as many Iraq Families torn apart because of this war on terrorism. When I wake up tomorrow morning on Memorial Day you know what I going to try to remember a world were war is not the answers but forgiveness that brings peace.

Cross

My old man's a white old man
And my old mother's black.
If ever I cursed my white old man
I take my curses back.
If ever I cursed my black old mother
And wished she were in hell,
I'm sorry for that evil wish
And now I wish her well
My old man died in a fine big house.
My ma died in a shack.
I wonder were I'm going to die,
Being neither white nor black?
