I thought, I'm only going to be on this planet once, and only for a short time. What can I do with my life that will lead to permanent benefits?

Life Is Too Short
life is too short
Music: rudolf schenker
Lyrics: klaus meine
Have you ever seen the morning?
When the sun comes up the shore
And the silence teach the beauty for the sound
Have you ever set there waiting?
For the time to stand still
For all the worlds and stars
From turning around
And you run
'cause life is too short
And you run
'cause life is too short
Have you ever seen the glory?
When the moon is on the rise
And the dreams are close
To the ones that we love
Have you ever set there waiting?
For heaven to give a sign
So we could find the place
Where angels come from
And you run (and you run)
'cause life is too short
And you run (and you run)
'cause life is too short
There's a time that turns
Turn back time
But i don't see i can
It only works
If you believe in the truth
But there's a time to live
And a time to cry
But if you're by my side
I will try to catch a star
I'll try to catch a star
Just for you
And i run
'cause life is too short
And i run (and i run)
'cause life is too short
And i run and i run and i run and i run and i run

Planet Earth
Only came outside to watch the nightfall with the rain
I heard you making patterns rhyme
Like some new romantic looking for the tv sound
Youll see Im right some other time
Look now, look all around, theres no sign of life
Voices, another sound, can you hear me now?
This is planet earth youre looking at planet earth
Bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop this is planet earth
My head is stuck on something precious
Let me know if youre coming down to land
Is there anybody out there trying to get through?
My eyes are so cloudy I cant see you

Life's Too Short
I let you escape, slip through my fingers
We made our mistakes, but memories linger
Each time I turn a corner I swear I see your face
But I'm standing here alone in the wonder
What I really needed, what made me run away?
Was it just somebody's spell I was under
(Chorus)
We all love on borrowed time, tomorrow's flying blind
And life's too short to be living without you
You laughed at my jokes, broke down my defenses
It's like my heart just awoke, and brought back my senses
I've got my motor running, it's all that I can do
Cause every road I'm taking, is leading back to you
Repeat Chorus
We all love on borrowed time, tomorrow's flying blind
And life's too short to be living without you
And life's too short
And life's too short
I give in I can't go it alone, yeah I'm done now I know that you're gone
I need someone to save me and life's too short, too short
I give in I can't go it alone
Life's too short to be living without you
Life's too short
I give in I can't go it alone
Life's too short can't be living without you
Life's too short
I give in I can't go it alone
I can live without you
Life's too short
I give in I can't go it alone
Life's too short to be living without you

Sonnet LX
THey that in course of heauenly spheares are skild,
To euery planet point his sundry yeare:
in which her circles voyage is fulfild,
as Mars in three score yeares doth run his spheare
So since the winged God his planet cleare,
began in me to moue, one yeare is spent:
the which doth longer vnto me appeare,
then al those fourty which my life outwent.
Then by that count, which louers books inuent,
the spheare of Cupid fourty yeares containes:
which I haue wasted in long languishment,
that seemd the longer for my greater paines.
But let me loues fayre Planet short her wayes
this yeare ensuing, or else short my dayes.

March Of Time
Hours of lust, hours of tears passing by before my eyes
Today, tomorrow, yesterday. . .one life
Days of joy, day of sadness come and go to pass me by
A month, a year, one hundred years, they fly
Bridge: ohh, one day I will be gone to lead another life
Ohh, and this world will stop to turn around with me
cause
Chorus: time. . .marches
Time. . .marches
On without us all, never stops, yes
Time. . .marches
Time. . .marches
On and on and on, flies eternally
Times of peace, times of fights, constant movement is our life
Cant stop no more, not until. . .we die
We long for more. . .eternity, and maybe theres another life
This one is short, no matter how you try
Bridge: ohh, but never give up all the hope to lead a good life
No, dont waste your given time to make things worse
Chorus: time. . .marches
Time. . .marches
One without us all, never stops, yes
Time. . .marches
Time. . .marches
On and on and on, flies eternally
Plese, please help me see, the best way to be
Make a change and we, live eternally
No more wasted years, no more wasted tears
Lifes too short to cry, long enough to try
Chorus: time. . .marches
Time. . .marches
On without us all, never stops, yes
Time. . .marches
Time. . .marches
On and on and on, flies eternally

Lead Balloon
Kiss my ass! I said
And I threw my drink
Tequila trickling
Down his business suit
Must be the irish blood
Fight before you think
Turn it now
You cant cowtow
You cant undo it
Its his town
And that went down
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon
He said sic her, rover
That went over
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead balloon
An angry man is just an angry man
But an angry woman
Bitch!
I had to ask him for a helping hand
It came with the heart
Of a bonaparte
Of a frozen fish
Its his town
And that went down
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon
He said sic her, rover
That went over
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead balloon
Lead balloon, lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead balloon, lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead balloon, lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead balloon
Its his town
And that went down
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead balloon
He said sic her, rover
That went over
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon

Who said what ask me not
Who said what ask me not
Come and sing time is short.
In the light of truth and in the
dark of false we both hurt.
Love and love and hate me not
Come and sing time is short.
We both are hot come and come
Day and night dream and dream
Who said what ask me not
Come and sing time is short.
What is success and what is failure
We know not come and come
Come and sing life's song.
Sun and moon all are with us
Come and see come and come
Life is short life is short.

A Timelessness Spent in Shared Regret
If I thought any part of yesterday I lived,
Had existing benefits for me...
I'd be still there living in it.
Like many nonbelieving,
Time without their participation...
Continues to move on.
And does so to leave those,
Doing exactly what they please.
And the ones who chose not to grow...
With a hope that their grasp,
On times they would like to keep unchanged...
Will convince others,
Who are equally blessed with immaturity!
Have only one thing to look forward to.
The guaranteed benefits of expressing,
A timelessness spent in shared regret.

A homage to martyrs
We pay homage to martyrs
Lay a wreath and offer prayers
The mortals don’t remain permanent
The heroes are remembered for their movements
The death may take over anybody
There is no escape or any remedy
We got to succumb to the cruel theory
Its thought itself saddens our memory
The life can be short and brief
Still we can provide some relief
It is our strongest and common belief
Though we may certainly be down with grief
Millions die every year with diseases
The life doesn’t come to an end or ceases
It strengthens the resolve and releases
New hope to survive with renewed lease
Only few can perform miracles
Some poets only can write good articles
The question is who can stand and endure the test?
How others can be benefited by trying the best?
On every special occasion you are remembered
Lots of good speeches and floral tribute delivered
This is one kind of richest tribute to the departed soul
The world is not ungrateful and sleeping like owl
Do something great even if it is ordinary
This is essential and necessary
There can’t be any balance sheet or summary
It is definitely stored in our memory
In normal life you will be lost in short span
You may have very ambitious and sure plans
It may not survive the treacherous tests
Everything will be wiped away as rest
To, lead noble life is not easy option
No one can put forward any suggestion
It is distinct possibility and out of question
You will never find its mention

Life is too short
Life is too short for any vain regretting;
Let dead delight bury its dead, I say,
And let us go upon our way forgetting
The joys and sorrows of each yesterday
Between the swift sun's rising and its setting
We have no time for useless tears or fretting:
Life is too short.
Life is too short for any bitter feeling;
Time is the best avenger if we wait;
The years speed by, and on their wings bear healing;
We have no room for anything like hate.
This solemn truth the low mounds seem revealing
That thick and fast about our feet are stealing:
Life is too short.
Life is too short for aught but high endeavor—
Too short for spite, but long enough for love.
And love lives on forever and forever;
It links the worlds that circle on above:
'Tis God's first law, the universe's lever.
In His vast realm the radiant souls sigh never
'Life is too short.'

Life Never Understood
Life as such was never understood
It only meant security of life and food
Trying all methods to come out of wood
And lived as insects and waited for moments to be freed
Life can never be left behind
It has nice traces to find
What is it in real meaning?
No one can have it even after scanning
It is nice to feel as poet
To look around things very quiet
But something in real we can’t allow or let
The life is linked with luck and simple fate
You may be away from crowded places
Where no one has time but only to race
To maintain dignity and honor
To keep responsibilities in order
No one may spare you for little mishap
They will blame all the time for reshapes
No one may ever try to know your compulsions
When life is posing threat with so many questions
We may live longer or short
Many ships may not reach at port
Some may sink in between and some sail through
We still run after mirage even it is not tree
Many have perished so far and many more may do so
It is little stay here and like I said before may go
Nothing remains ever as of permanent nature
You must take out some valuable time and shape the future
God has provided food and shelter to all
No can be blamed if he or she responds to the call
That is natural to lead a life in routine way
It may keep you attached and will not allow you to go away
Let us presume and observe few minutes for tomorrow
We are aware that not a moment will be allowed
Yet we can have some of the loveliest moments in isolation
Even though it may be looked upon as entertainment or out of relation

Planet Earth
I heard a girl in a dress
Say her face was a mess
I heard theres no reason why
I heard that nows the time to buy
On planet earth
Ill probably stay
On planet earth
Its a place to live your life
Where pleasure follows pain
People go insane
Fly around in planes
Pray that it wont rain
Drive around in cars
Get drunk in local bars
Dream of being stars
Well I lived all my life on planet earth
I saw a girl lose all control
When she lost her new mink stole
I saw her try to catch a man
Things I couldnt understand
On planet earth
Ill probably stay
On planet earth
Its a place to live your life
Where pleasure follows pain
People go insane
Fly around in planes
Pray that it wont rain
Drive around in cars
Get drunk in local bars
Dream of being stars
Well I lived all my life on planet earth
I saw a man on a stage
Scream put me back in my cage
I saw him hang by his tie
I saw enough to make me cry
On planet earth
On planet earth
I lived all my life on planet earth
I lived all my life on planet earth
On planet earth

Short Rap
Short rap (echo)
Repeat x2
Short rap, is everything
Its what I think, its what I sing
Cause Im a rapper, who lets you know
When it comes to music, I will grow
Rap more raps than any mc
Your rap aint rap cause your rap aint me
Short rap, is what you find
The mastermind, short rap that rhyme
Too short baby, thats the name
When I rap my rap I rap that game
I tell it to you like you always knew
Short raps not fake, its always true
Its me, its you, short rap is life
Its everyday and every night
And I dont just say its this and that
Its everything, its what short raps
Short rap (echo)
Itz what?
Short rap(echo)
Fresh
Short rap(echo)
Short rap(echo)
Short rap(echo)
S-h-o-r-t-r-a-p
Short rap is what I call this beat
Rap that rap like no one else
Im sir too short all by myself
I make fresh raps without your help
And all I want is fame and wealth
Smooth in the game, just like that
And all you hear me say is rap
Short (echo)
Short rap, is way to hard
Every I stop, its time to start
Cause what you find, when I say rhymes
Is a non-stop rap, right on time
Im the kind of person you always thought
Couldnt make a record that would be bought
Sir too short, it couldnt be
Short rap, whats that, short rap is me
Short rap(echo)
Short rap(echo)
So so fresh
I like tenders, young and hot
You never hear short say baby why not?
Im sir too short, Im so down
Mc rapper from the oakland town
You better get up, short raps a song
It really aint short, its much too long
Cause I dont stop, once I start
Short rap, whats that, short rap is art
Took my rap to the neighborhood
From day one too short was good
True mcs make sucka mcs
In my time they rap like me
A brotha said short, hes good as you
Saw me on stage and learned the truth
I was born, to hit the tops
Short rap, I dont stop
Short rap(echo)
Short rap(echo)
Short rap(echo)
Short rap has now affected you
Short rap wont stop until I get through
Short rap could knock,
Sucka mcs stop biting on you and start biting on me
And I wont get mad, cause Im so bad
The rap you have is the rap I had
Now if you want, my new short rap
You can put it in your shorts and bite on that
Sucka mc, you know Im fresh
A rap in my trash can top your best
Check it out boy, here and now
How will you rap when you dont know how
I wish I could hear you answer that
It just wont work and thats short rap
Try to make you understand
Dont make more raps, just be a fan
Short rap(echo)
Short rap, is it sad or funny
I thought you knew short rap is money
Sucka mc, you dont need help
All you need to do is something else
Cause mc rappers are all around
And sucka mcs are like bloodhounds
Sniffing away, to find a rhyme
Just quit rapping and you wont rap mine
Short rap, Im so hard
She got her butter on my candy bar
No time to play, just work and work
I gotta kick back, call me bizurke
Cause thats just all she made me go
Toss it up short, I know you know
Short rap, is everything
Her worst nightmare, her wettest dream
Her mind, her body, short rap is life
Shes just a friend, shes not my wife
I wouldnt even let her in my car
And the babe said Im her lucky star
Im a fresh young bachelor, I roll caddy
86 her cause she said daddy
But thats not it, it wasnt that
Short rap is life so let me rap
I gotta stop sooner, but Ill stop later
Im her man, Im not a player
And I know just what shes thinking of
Sir too short, and all her love
But then she asked for my love back
And all I had was too short raps
I cant lie, I tried to try
Your fun not one, but dont asked why
Short rap(echo)
Short rap(echo)
Is everything
Short rap(echo)
Short rap(echo)
I dont stop, baby
Short rap, is everything
Its what I think, its what I sing
Short rap, in stereo
Short is what you think you know
Your rap is fresh, but look at me
I rap more rhymes than any mc
Living so close up on the hill
Short rap wont stop, it never will(echo)

Permanent Reminder Of A Temporary Feeling
By: jimmy buffett
She was no marine back from the philippines
She was their pride and joy, their incarnation
Her parents viewed the chief with shock and disbelief
Looking for some other explanation
The indian on her back was poised for an attack
She said a tatoo is a badge of validation
But the truth of the matter is far more revealing
Its a permanent reminder of a temporary feeling
Permanent reminder
Of a temporary feeling
Amnesiac episodes that never go away
Its no complex momemto its not set of revealing
Just a permanent reminder of a temporary feeling
Vegas in the rain
Drunk on cheap champagne
He hears out of tune synthesized chapel bells painfully ringing
Wheres his limo ride
Whos this foreign bride
Is that really elvis spinning around the ceiling
Permanent reminder
Of a temporary feeling
Forgotten fabrications in the chapels of love
Whats this ring on his finger
Why is he kneeling
Shes just a permanent reminder of a temporary feeling
Chromosomes and genes
Spawn these fateful scenes
Evolution can be mean
Theres no dumbass vaccine
Blame your dna
Youre a victim of your fate
Its human nature to miscalculate
To make up for the fight
They go out for the night
Sex drugs and rock n roll seem like the easiest answer
But a short nine months later
Theres no way of concealing
That permanent reminder of a temporary feeling
Permanent reminder
Of a temporary feeling
Amnesiac episodes that never go away
Complex momentos not subtle revealings
Just a permanent reminder of a temporary feeling
Permanent reminder of a temporary feeling
Permanent reminder of a temporary feeling

Life is a short journey.
Life is a short journey
It may be bitter
It may be honey
Life is a short journey
Choose your way
Choose your mate
You won't be early
You won't be late
Our ways may differ
But our end is there
Go by car or by train
Go on foot or by plane
Go on horseback or by rocket
Go by bike or by boat
Life is a short journey
All of us will be on time
All of us will be the same
All of us will have a luggage
Choose what to leave
Choose what to take
Choose what to build
Choose what to break
Life is a short journey
Whether you like it
Or you don't
You try to change it
But you can't
Life is a short journey.

Lost On A Silent Planet
(judith? judith? )
(can you hear me? )
(can you see me? )
Life on a distant planet
Another atmosphere
Life on a distant planet
So cold inside of here
You can see her
But she cant see you
You can call her name
But she wont even hear you
In the morning of the day
To the evening
D-day and beyond
Lost on a silent planet
Two lone, rising stars
Locked on a silent planet
So close and yet so far
Children scream and shout
Their eyes torn out
Judith turns around and stumbles
To the ground
In the morning of the day
The evening time
D-day and beyond
Oh...girl you fall out
Oh...girl you come out to cry
Have you nothing to say
Girl you come out to cry
Have you nothing to say
In the morning
On to the day time
To the evening
D-day and beyond
