Harvard Crimson

Harvard..
crimson with the blood of hundreds of millions of animals
dead in their underground vivisection labs
Harvard crimson, as the US university with the largest endowment,
invested in war, animal and fish flesh, factory farms, killer drugs
Harvard crimson, with the dollars it has stolen from the US poor.

Harvard which lost prion discoverer Stanley Prusiner, who was tired
of the university's animal flesh investments putting his research on
the back burner.

Harvard economists, destabilizers of the Russian economy

Harvard, driving the poor out of their homes, paying $4000 in the 70's
for homes in surrounding neighborhoods

Harvard, way behind Oberlin in ending exclusion of women and African
Americans

***************** ****************
Boston is the vivisection capital of the US, and Harvard receives more
vivisection dollars than any other university.

~Science 101~

Some have said that Poetry-
'Tis a Science...
Where words are layered and connected-
Together-
Like our bones-
A comparative anatomy-
With embellishments-
Similar to marbalized stones...
Living close to the sod and moss-
Nary a word or even its loss-
Usually i am lead into the dale-
Where nature grows flower 's-
Underneath its green veil-
And live out their youth-
In the Spring-
With Summer in between-
With a science to it all-
Dying come the Fall...

A science—so the Savants say

100

A science—so the Savants say,
"Comparative Anatomy"—
By which a single bone—
Is made a secret to unfold
Of some rare tenant of the mold,
Else perished in the stone—

So to the eye prospective led,
This meekest flower of the mead
Upon a winter's day,
Stands representative in gold
Of Rose and Lily, manifold,
And countless Butterfly!

Two Chocolate Labs

This was wrote to my wife, Sharon about our two chocolate labs. Biloxi is male, Cherokee is female. One we named for the place we were engaged, the other the place we had our honeymoon.

When you look at our two Chocolate Labs tell me what do you see.
Do you see just two big dogs named Biloxi and the other Cherokee.

Next time you look at them, look at them hard.
They are more than two Chocolate Labs out in our yard.

Cherokee is a symbol of our never ending love.
She is to remind us that our marriage is blessed from above.

Cherokee is the place that I ask you to marry me by a cold rolling mountain stream.
This is the place that we will hold in our hearts and keep in our dreams.

Biloxi is a symbol of the love that we have and share.
He is to remind us of a place that is the answer to our prayers.

Biloxi is the place where our honeymoon was to be.
This is the place that sealed our love for then, now and all eternity.

Biloxi and Cherokee are more than two Chocolate Labs you see.
Yes, they are two symbols of two special places called Biloxi and the other Cherokee.

So next time you look at them, look and them with love.
These are our two special gifts to us, from heaven above.

I won't say there aren't any Harvard graduates who have never asserted a superior attitude. But they have done so to our great embarrassment and in no way represent the Harvard I know.

Biasin

Biasin, basin, sin, in, as, bin, ban!
Hotel Biasin;
Louis and Louise,
To be in love;
And, were met at the Hotel.
The kiss,
Hot, . cold!
Way in and way out;
Like Harvard man and Harvard woman.
Amazing!
The atmosphere;
Come, welcome!
Efficient, sufficient;
And, with a compromise.

Green Horse

The green horse strolls saddleless
the dust and grass
flowers painted on glass
images of the trademarks
on the shinning shackles

The restless strokes of darkness
the fiery strokes of fire
brave instincts for the forgetful
the lust less gaze of the
lusty framed muscles
burn….
Green horse in fire!

With the last doves retirement
the buzzing receding
and one time familiar sweatiness
return untouched
from beneath the burning flesh!

Charring anatomy of the green horse …..

should the shackles disappear:
the gypsy city welcome
the creatures of beaded pearls
the green horse

the burning anatomy…
the shinning anatomy!

So in my sophomore year, I took a senior anatomy class. I thought anatomy - being the thing that I should be most interested in - and if I could hack, as we called it, a senior class, I would continue. I didn't hack the senior class.

There is no Charge...

Generosity of the earth,
For whatever its worth.

There is no charge

The fragrance of flowers,
At any time and hour.

There is no charge

The shade of a beckoning tree,
Offering shelter to a refugee.

There is no charge

The birds early morning orchestra,
Uplifting like chanting a mantra.

There is no charge

Motherly caress of the gentle breeze,
So soothing, stress is released.

There is no charge

Days and nights,
Nature’s cues to sleep and rise.

There is no charge

Watching the ebb and flow of ocean tide,
As the Sun sets and goes to hide.

There is no charge

did you say everything is expensive,
how can any one be happy.

What if nature gave you a whack
And tried to teach you what is lack.
Can you handle her balance sheet?
Indignant, you’ll scream, you cheat, you cheat.

Oh Where, Oh Where is the Family Physician

Whatever happened
To the family physician?

His genial compassionate
Demeanour had a placebo effect,
And you felt at ease
In his presence.
You were half cured
By his kind words.
He could diagnose
By studying your pulse.
He really had the
Touch of a magician.

Now there is
A specialist for every part
Of your anatomy.
When unwell
You go to see him.
Without looking you
In the eye,
He will ask you
What brings you by?

In a tone
Devoid of emotion,
Says we’ll investigate
And do some tests.
When you are done
And armed with a file
Go back and wait for your turn.
Feeling tense and fragile.

After going through your file,
He looks at you with disdain in his eyes.
Everything is fine,
It’s just in your mind.
And scribbles
A prescription in his illegible hand
For sedatives,
And advice to make life style changes.
Exasperated
You look for alternatives.

I suspect even if they have a clue,
It’s a simple case of flu,
They send you for tests
As they get handsome cuts from labs.

Oh where, oh where
Is the family physician,
He didn’t send you
For invasive tests,
And several opinions
He really had
The touch of a magician.

Paris Went to Hilton, Uhm, Harvard

Paris, Paris you finally made it to Harvard.
Let’s party and you’ll cry if you want to,
50 Cent can be your own personal muse, Urban Poet, a poetic sage,
When he said to you, Paris, “Get the F$$k off of my stage.”
(see observation It’s My Party)
Was it because you found the solution the world’s problems?
Had you discovered how to extract in formation from DNA within seconds?
Had you discovered the link between gravity and the electromagnetic spectrum?
Or had you brokered peace between the Israeli and the Palestinian Nations,
That would end violence?
But you declared “Harvard is Hot”,
Amazing you can put three words together two of which had the same starting letter.
You are a GENIUS!
NOT! ! ! ! !
You are epitome, that means you are the highest, of a joke that Harvard Lampoon honored,
You were dishonored and rightfully so,
I hope you will peel off your blinders to hopefully see,
You are wasting your life and providing fodder for the paparazzi.
Your grandfather wanted nothing to do with you.
Paris when you’re out money, when you had fallen from the top,
Maybe I’ll find your Lampoon Award in a pawn shop.

If I Were in Charge of the World (my version)

If I Were in Charge of the World
I’d cancel Brussels’s Sprouts,
School nights, grape medicine, and also spiders.

If I were in charge of the world,
There’d be more domestic animals,
Longer days, and open space to have more room.

If I were in charge of the world,
You wouldn’t have sadness,
You wouldn’t have bedtimes,
Or “eat your vegetables, ”
You wouldn’t even have vegetables.

If I were in charge of the world,
A chocolate cake would be served everyday.
All videogames would be “E for everyone.”
And a person who plays Guitar Hero 3,
And sometimes swats at a bumblebee,
Would still be allowed to be in charge of the world!

Overlord of the World

If I were in charge of the world
Lots of things would be different
There would be world peace
All war would cease

If I were in charge of the world
I would never be sad
Always surrounded
By a friendly fad

If I were in charge of the world
All the resources would be replenished
We would never run out of oil
All of this taking place in the dreamworld

If I were in charge of the world
There would be no homeless people
People would care for others
The cruelness will crumple

*Fad is an inside joke; it’s a person who is kind and friendly

If I Were In Charge of the World

If I were in charge of the world
I'd cancel oatmeal,
Monday mornings,
Allergy shots, and also Sara Steinberg.

If I were in charge of the world
There'd be brighter nights lights,
Healthier hamsters, and
Basketball baskets forty eight inches lower.

If I were in charge of the world
You wouldn't have lonely.
You wouldn't have clean.
You wouldn't have bedtimes.
Or "Don't punch your sister."
You wouldn't even have sisters.

If I were in charge of the world
A chocolate sundae with whipped cream and nuts would be a vegetable
All 007 movies would be G,
And a person who sometimes forgot to brush,
And sometimes forgot to flush,
Would still be allowed to be
In charge of the world.

Charles in Charge

New boy in the neighborhood
Lives down stairs and it's understood.
He's there just to take good care of me.
Like he's one of the family.
Charles in charge of
Our days and our nights.
Charles in charge of
Our wrongs and our rights.
So I say
I want Charles in charge of me.
